Part I

A New Danger, Return to the Devildom

The two figures materialized from the Pentagram and solidified their shapes. One had reddish brown hair while the other had dark green hair tinged with turquoise. Both had glowing red eyes filled with anticipation as they looked at the One who summoned them then at the Six Dark Sins who were bowing respectfully to them. The Dark Prince turned to the one who spoke to him and acknowledged him.

"It is good to be back."

Turning back to the One who summoned him and his Servant, the Dark Prince asked, "Why did you summon us Ancient One?"

"The time of my Awakening has come and in order to fully awake, I am in need of your powers, and would like your help in a Task. I need you to create Mass Chaos at the Place where the Second Key is. The Second and the Third Key are necessary for my resurrection. The Two Keys will resurrect my main body that lies in Hell. I already hold the First Key. With all Three Keys in my possession, my main body can be reborn into this World."

"So, you found the Lost Key? I am impressed. My Servant and I will aid you but what will be your sacrifice to us?"

The Ancient One smiled cruelly and said, "The Foolish Prince who rules the Devildom and the Seven Lords who rule under him."

The Dark Prince smiled and said, "We shall accept your Sacrifice."

The Ancient One then turned to his Six Dark Servants and said, "Go with them and eliminate the Prince and the Seven, but bring me the One who made a Fool out of me. Bring her to me alive. She shall be mine."

"What of the Second Key, Master?"

"I will take care of that. Once you have everyone separated and taken care of, I will use that chance to take the Second Key. Do not fail me again my Dark Servants or your punishment will be dire."

The Dark Servants bowed in unison, "As our Master commandest. We shalt not fail."

While a new plan was put into motion in the darkness of Merlin's Cave, Kagura and company landed in the Devildom and arrived at Lord Diavolo's Castle. As Kagura looked around, a faint memory came to her. She remembered that her soul had traveled through here when she went to save Satan after she felt his soul shatter and his death. So this was the Devildom Prince's Castle. Kagura had overheard snatches of conversation between Solomon and the dark-haired demon when they were on the separate Island of Tintagel. Solomon had asked the demon where he should send everyone to in the Devildom and the demon had mentioned Lord Diavolo's Castle.

Kagura had to admit that the Castle was beautiful. The architecture could be best described as equal in beauty to the architecture of the Greeks. Who would have thought that she would land in a Castle? Not to mention whether she could even get her memories back from being here. Before Kagura lost her memories, she had already been here once according to Satan. Now, after she lost her memories, she's here again, but this time reliving her time in the Devildom starting out at the Devildom Prince's domain. The location itself sounded ominous as well as the name, "Devildom Prince." She wasn't looking forward to meeting the Prince either. Would he look like the demons studied by demonologists in the human world or would he be like the demons that possess human beings creating horrifying results? Kagura shook her thoughts away. Thinking like this was not going to help. Satan and his brothers were demons but they looked normal. She didn't feel any Evil vibes coming from them nor did they look Evil. Surprisingly, Kagura actually felt safe with them.

Her thoughts were soon interrupted when she heard footsteps coming their way. Kagura looked up and stared in surprise. The people coming toward them were the people from the Instagram-like app on her D.D.D. The man with the reddish brown hair and golden eyes led the way followed by a man with dark green hair with turquoise highlights on a longer fringe of hair. Bringing up the rear was a man with dark skin, dark brown hair, and light blue eyes. He was followed by a child with light blonde hair and blue eyes. The next instant, the child ran to Kagura and hugged her tight.

"What…" Kagura started but was interrupted by the child, "Kagura I'm so glad you're all right! I was so worried about you!"

Kagura gently disentangled herself from the child then asked, "I'm sorry but how do you know me? Who are you?"

Luke went still and looked up at Kagura in shock, "You don't know who I am? I'm Luke. How can you not remember me?"

Before Kagura could say anything, Satan said, "I'm sorry Luke, but Kagura has amnesia. She doesn't know anyone here."

Luke looked at Satan in disbelief, "Kagura has amnesia? How can that be?"

Lord Diavolo, Barbatos and Simeon arrived just as Luke asked the question. They stared at Satan than at Kagura in shock.

Kagura looked at them and said, "Satan is right. I have amnesia. I don't know anyone here except Satan. While in the human world, my memories of Satan had slowly come back."

The man with the reddish brown hair and the golden eyes looked at Kagura and asked quietly, "How did you get amnesia? What happened to you in the human world?"

The man who spoke was dressed in a red militaristic uniform with a black shirt, white standard tie, and a black mini cloak. He looked young and his golden eyes seemed to glow. The man also exuded an air of old formality that was a little intimidating to Kagura who felt out of place in all this grandeur. Without thinking, Kagura stepped back and stood a little closer to Satan. The man saw her actions and his eyes went wide with surprise followed by a strange sadness.

Kagura, without looking at the man said, "I'm sorry about that, but you exude an old formality that is a little intimidating for me who feels out of place in all this grandeur."

Satan looked at Kagura and felt his heart ache. This was a side of Kagura he didn't know. The Kagura he knew was his hope and his pillar of strength. Now she exuded a vulnerability that made him want to be her pillar of strength. He wanted to protect her even more. Satan squeezed Kagura's shoulders reassuringly and said, "Everything is going to be okay. I'm here for you. You don't need to feel intimidated."

Kagura looked at Satan then gave him a smile of thanks, "Thank you Satan."

Satan nodded and whispered in her ear, "I will be your pillar of strength and protect you no matter what," before continuing out loud, "But we need to let Lord Diavolo and the Angels know what happened to you in the human world and how you got amnesia."

Before Satan could say anything else, Kagura pulled him aside and asked, "Is Lord Diavolo the Devildom Prince? He is the intimidating man with the golden eyes?"

Satan nodded.

"And who are the Angels?"

"One of them is the one with dark brown hair while the other is the one who hugged you. Their names are Simeon and Luke."

"The butler-like person, who is he?"

"That would be Lord Diavolo's trusted steward. His name is Barbatos. Barbatos is a demon too."

"I see."

"If you're done with your questions, shall we return to them? They need to know what happened to you."

Kagura nodded and said, "Can you be the one to tell them what happened to me in the human world and how I got amnesia? I don't feel comfortable talking to them."

Satan nodded, "Don't worry Kagura. I will."

Returning to the others, Satan started his story, "On the way to her ocean villa in Cornwall, Kagura's train was forced to a stop. In human terms, it was hijacked. After the train was forcibly stopped, several shadowy figures materialized in the train. They killed all the passengers and staff leaving Kagura as the sole survivor. After everyone was killed, four Dark Servants serving under their Master materialized. They had been watching from the Darkness as the massacre took place. The plan was to capture Kagura as a sacrifice for their Master. Learning about their plans, Kagura escaped the train by jumping off. However, while escaping, she hit her head on a large rock and lost all her memories resulting in amnesia."

Lord Diavolo, Barbatos, and the Angels went pale with shock after they heard Satan's story.

"That must have been very traumatic for you, Kagura. I wish I could do something to help."

Kagura looked at the man who spoke. It was the Angel Simeon. His dark brown hair was windswept and he was wearing a tight-fitting shirt with no sleeves and a high collar that showed off the sides of his torso. It was decorated with gold markings with segments of gray on the edge of the collar, a tiny patch of white resting on the center of the throat. Resting comfortably on his forearms was a large, white cape with a golden trim and string to keep it on. The inside of the cape was a beautiful blue to turquoise gradient that reminded Kagura of the ocean by her villa. His pants were white with a black pattern on the top and he was also sporting black gloves with two golden lines that almost reached his elbows. As he gave Kagura a gentle and comforting smile, she felt his kindness and warmth. Just being near him made her feel good about life. Kagura also saw a pale, golden aura surrounding him making him look almost ethereal. He definitely looked like an Angel.

With a sense of awe, Kagura stared at the Angel. She couldn't believe it. Her childhood dream had finally come true. She had always wanted to see an Angel and now she could. Kagura was delighted. An Angel! She got to see a real Angel! With pure delight in her voice, Kagura asked, "Are you really an Angel? Ever since I was little, I had always loved to read stories about your kind and had wanted to see one, but my parents told me that Angels cannot be seen so I didn't think I would ever get the chance. Seeing my disappointment, my parents told me that even though Angels couldn't be seen, it didn't mean they weren't there. They told me that Angels exist as Spirits loving us and watching over us from Heaven."

Simeon blinked in surprise before laughing gently, "Yes, I really am an Angel. Your parents were right. To humans, we cannot be seen but that doesn't mean we're not there. We are there in spirit, loving and watching over everyone from Heaven, just as your parents told you."

Busy talking to the Angel Simeon, Kagura did not notice the laughter coming from everyone until now. She blushed in embarrassment and quickly returned to Satan's side.

"That was so embarrassing, revealing my childhood like that."

"I actually liked hearing about your childhood. Childhood dreams create innocence and purity in children. They are also the foundation of dreams and hopes in humans. That is one of the reasons why I admire humans."

"So, that's one of the reasons you admire humans huh? I'm kind of happy to hear that from you."

Satan blushed before saying quietly, "I admire you as well, Kagura. You have brought so much hope and strength to me and helped me overcome my own insecurities. You saved me from myself and helped me open my heart. All you've done for me made me fall in love with you and made me value you more. I'm glad you're here and glad you're with me once again."

Kagura gave Satan a discrete kiss on the lips before saying quietly, "I'm glad I'm with you once again. You have given me so much strength and love as well, and was always there protecting me. That was why I fell in love with you."

Satan drew in a sharp breath and hugged her tight not caring that they were in a public place. After the hug, Satan whispered in Kagura's ear and said, "We'll continue this when we're alone. That's a promise."

Kagura nodded.

"For now, we need to figure out how you came to gain so much power. Lord Diavolo, Barbatos, and the Angels can help you with this. Let's go talk with them about it now."

"Okay," said Kagura. The main reason she was here in the Devildom was to figure out how she came to possess so much power.

While Kagura and Satan were having a private moment, Lord Diavolo and the others had left to find a place to sit. As Kagura and Satan made their way toward the main group, Satan's dark-haired brother was talking to Lord Diavolo about the attack on him and his brothers when they went to the human world to aid Solomon and Satan. The dark-haired demon told Lord Diavolo that when they landed in the human world, they got trapped in a Dark Void with undead wraiths. As they were fighting the wraiths, they had felt their powers and strengths draining from them, weakening them considerably before the attacks stopped. The attacks stopped when six additional figures had made their appearance. The wraiths seemed to know who the figures were and that's why they stopped their attacks. Later, the wraiths disappeared one by one.

The dark-haired demon continued, "After the cursed wraiths disappeared, my brothers and I were confronted by the figures. One of them confronted me while the others confronted my brothers. After binding my brothers and me in demon binding circles, we couldn't move and our demon powers were sealed. Before my brothers got attacked, the Dark Void we were in dissolved, but the figure that confronted me still had the others destroy my brothers. They would have succeeded if it weren't for Kagura. She shielded my brothers so the attack failed. Later, Kagura saved me from getting destroyed by calling on powers beyond comprehension. Her powers amplified Satan's powers and he destroyed the figure that attacked me. After he got destroyed, the others disappeared, releasing the demon binding circles that bound us. After we were freed, Kagura used an area wide Healing spell that restored our powers and strength."

When the Demon Prince heard the dark-haired demon's story, he frowned and said, "That was too close. You said Kagura shielded your brothers from the attack, and managed to save you from getting destroyed? Later, she healed everyone including you by restoring everyone's powers and strength including yours? How is that possible? Her powers are great but creating such a Shield is Arcane Stage magic, including the Healing spell she used, not to mention amplifying a demon's powers. She has not the skills for Arcane Stage magic. Only sorcerers like Solomon and demons like us can use Arcane Stage magic."

Satan said, "That's why we came here Lord Diavolo. While Kagura was in the human world, she somehow gained incredible power at the Arcane Stage level. We hope that you, Barbatos, and the Angels can help Kagura find out how she came to possess so much power. We would like to find out too."

Kagura still felt intimidated by the Demon Prince, but with Satan and his brothers here, she felt she could overcome it. She looked at Lord Diavolo and said quietly, "I have a feeling that a part of the memories I lost would have the answer to how I came to possess so much power. As the dark-haired one said, I shielded his brothers from the attack, healed everyone, and somehow amplified Satan's powers destroying that figure, but I was acting on impulse, as if I somehow knew what to do and just did it."

The Demon Prince frowned thoughtfully and asked, "Do you remember when the power manifested?"

Kagura nodded, "It was when Satan took me to the train I jumped off from. We went there so I could remember what happened to me on the train before I hit my head. As we were standing near the train, a flicker of memory came to me. Not the memory of what happened to me on the train but another memory."

"What was the memory?"

"I was in what looked like an old and dusty Library holding a spell book with a silver seal. As I touched the seal, the book opened, but before I could process what happened after, the spell book disappeared from my hands."

Diavolo drew in a sharp breath then in a tense voice said, "Kagura, this is very important. Do you remember what the spell book looked like or what the seal looked like?"

Kagura stared at the Demon Prince in stunned silence. His reaction was the same as Solomon's. The Demon Prince knows something about the spell book and so does Solomon. What was that spell book?

Kagura shook her head, "I'm sorry but I don't remember. The memory is still hazy. All I can remember from it is the color of the seal. It's silver. Maybe if I see pictures of spell books, I could remember."

The Demon Prince nodded, "That is a logical solution. Barbatos, can you go to my study and bring me The Book that covers information on all the spell books of the Devildom?"

Barbatos looked at his Prince and asked, "Are you sure that's wise My Lord? The Book holds many of our secrets including The Secret that must not be revealed or known to anyone besides us."

"I'm sorry Barbatos but we have no choice. Kagura's memory already revealed part of The Secret. I'm sure you already figured out what Kagura's memory was about. Satan and the others have also figured it out."

Kagura blinked in surprise when she heard that. She turned around and saw that the Demon Prince was right. Everyone had stunned expressions on their faces as they looked at Kagura.

Barbatos nodded, "As you wish My Lord," before he left for the Demon Prince's study.

Turning back to the Demon Prince, Kagura asked, "What secret are we talking about?"

Looking at Kagura seriously, the Demon Prince said, "You'll find out once Barbatos returns with The Book."

When Barbatos returned, he was holding a thick, leather bound book with strange writing. He gave Kagura a serious look and said, "The information in here will help you get that memory back. After you learn of The Secret, you must never reveal it to anyone else."

Kagura nodded as she took the book from Barbatos. The first thing her eyes went to was the title of the book. The title was in an ancient language that looked strangely familiar to her. As she took a closer look at the title, she saw that it was in Latin. The words read Grimorium Historia, "Grimoire History."

Without thinking, Kagura read the title of the book out loud, "Grimorium Historia, Grimoire History."

As Kagura read the title out loud and finished translating it, everyone in the room was stunned into silence. Kagura noticed the silence and went still. "What's going on?"

Satan was the first to break the stunned silence, "Kagura, when did you learn to read and understand Latin? If I remember correctly, Latin was one of your weaker subjects."

Kagura froze in shock at what Satan said registered in her mind. How could I read and understand Latin in the first place? If it was one of her weaker subjects, that meant that before she lost her memories, she took Latin classes with Solomon and the Demon Brothers while she was living in the Devildom.

"I can't give you an answer Satan. From what you told me, before I lost my memories, it seemed that I took Latin classes with you and the others. If it was one of my weaker subjects, then I don't know how I could read and understand it. However, I do know that when I was a college student, I took a Latin language class. I was never good with Latin. Though I managed to pass the class, I did not continue with Latin nor did I practice Latin."

The Demon Prince said comfortingly, "Don't worry Kagura. We understand. We will help you regain all your memories including your memories of learning Latin."

Satan and the others nodded in agreement. Everyone was thinking the same thing. Maybe her knowledge and expertise in Latin was another memory she had lost. Now it was even more important for them to help Kagura regain all her memories.
