Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Halo. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Halo, 343 and a few others do.

Krorsis found many things interesting as the 9ft Jiralhanae sat upon his throne, his gravity hammer set next to the hulking warrior.

Such as how pointless the Schism had been. He had seemed the Prophets slowly yet surely die out, all too familiarly throwing whatever pointless weapons at the Sangheili and Humans they wished. It had simply ended with their butchering at the hands of their former allies. He did not weep for the San'Shyuum as they had thrown countless of his brothers at the Sangheili. He also did not feel sad for Tartarus who had been murdered brutally by the arbiter whom he had spent far too much time trying to bully into bowing before him.

He brought his hand to a piece of scarred ragged flesh on his face below his right eye. The place where the blade of a Sangheili he had dueled had found its mark. The man whom he had fought found such a warrior to be was not dead. No, he did not find any glory in the butchering of their race… Nor did he participate in it.

He looked around the compound. Many of his pack brothers all shared stories and or cleaned their weapons and armor. It would be time for another few seconds to sate him until he finally snapped, driving down from his throne to which his father had truly lived as of the second before he questioned what to have done before.

"Thinking again?" He heard as he chuckled and turned to look at his friend. "You know, I find it funny you believe you owe that elite anything…" He heard as he rolled his eyes and gripped his helmet.

"Would you rather we have died from the schism aboard the Retribution?" He heard with a raised eyebrow. "They had given us more than we deserved. You would be wise to remember that is why you live, old friend… They would not be as nice as you believe." Krorsis said with a wave of his hand.

"That old mutt will be coming soon. You know his offer." Krorsis heard as he growled, his fangs poking out from his mouth. "We all have parts to play, old man…. Well, old in as in how you act." Krorsis heard as he gripped his hammer.

He knew he could easily have turned and swung, splattering the younger Jiralhanae's skull across the wall like paint. It would have taken but a single swing of his hammer, however. The stupid cur was young. He hadn't been through much of the Schism and when the time had come? He had chosen his leader over the Covenant, it told him enough for now when it came down to it.

Such things had yet constantly washed over his mind. He hadn't the proper idea of now. He was too tired, too unsure of what to have done when this was all over when it came down to it.

Krorsis glanced up at the ceiling. There was a lot more he could have done before now. There were a few moments of silence. He had a lot more on the tilt of his head, he looked up into the sky.

Today's issues had been melting his head. It didn't make him think much, it didn't… However? Such things had been far more than he could have happened to have handled.

He hadn't the proper idea of what to have done and dusted. He looked at his hammer before resting the weapon on his shoulder, looking up at the sky above. He rubbed at the chin hair before he seemed to get ready. There was a lot more to have done at the time… It had been odd; he was prepared for the worst. He didn't know and he was too tired, there was a lot more to have gotten to such a degree… It had been a lot odder to have focused upon, but he knew that such a thing was possible and he wouldn't have backed down anytime soon.

He did not share their passion for the time being… Only happiness when this was all done and dusted. He hadn't been able to question for now.

He wasn't prepared for the worst. Such things were beyond him.

Author Notes

Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will be showing more of Krorsis and will be showing both his clan and such and how he had been able to have fought for now. The next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will be 900-6500 words when it comes down to it. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
