WARNING: Rules of the Nasuverse and the Omnitrix will probably be broken, rules I probably haven't learned of or even forgot about while making this, with that said...
"Come on!" Kiritsugu shouted, pulling at something that was attached to his right arm. The young man was covered in sweat from the effort of trying to get it off of him. Yet everytime he tried it just wouldn't budge! It might as well have been fused into his skin with little it had moved, that being not at all.
The boy had been walking alone at night when he had saw what he assumed was a meteor and went ahead to go looking for it. And while he had found it…
He soon found out it wasn't a meteor at all.
And now here he was, with a big and bulky black, white, and green watch-thing attached to his wrist. It couldn't even be a watch since it had no internal clock as he found out trying to fiddle with it early on.
"GET! OFF!" He shouted internally, attempting one final pull before collapsing after seeing the thing refuse to move still. He gave out an audible sigh before moving his right arm up to look at the thing.
"What are you anyway?" He said quitely. He didn't know much of the wider world, but he knew enough to know that this thing wasn't natural. If it wasn't a watch then what was it?
The boy would not find out the device's intended purpose was for a long while even after his days on the island.
Though what he would soon find out was that it'd be the thing he'd depend on to save the lives of those around him.
Hours Later
His eyes were wide as his mouth was open, his chest heaving up and down as sweat rolled off his forehead and dropping down from his chin to the dirt beneath his feet.
There, several feet away on the ground, inside a cage of with chicken carcases surrounding the both of them. Was her, Shirley.
Her eyes that were bright red looked straight back into his, her mouth opening and closing with teeth that were inhumanly sharp, her hands were gripping onto the sides of the cage in a desperate attempt to hold herself back. And yet despite her feral state. She still had enough self control to throw her knife near his feet, begging for him to kill her.
He didn't know what was going on, only that something was wrong with her and that it had something to do with his fathers work.
And so he hesitantly picked up the knife, holding it in his left hand as he brought his right arm in front of him, hoping to use the bulk of 'the watch' as he had ironically called it as a shield. Coming up with something that could barely be called a 'plan' of knocking Shirley out before bringing her to his father for help.
As he neared her twitching body, the green hourglass part of the watch flicked to life.
Before either him or Shirley could react to the sudden noise, the watch started flaring out a green light that went up and down Shirley's body. As a voice from the watch started to speak.
"Severe genetic damage detected, Should we attempt to repair?"
!
Kiritsugu's eyes shot wide open, flicking his eyes towards the still writhing girl close in front of him, as he had gotten close enough to the point where he was in the cage with her, his raised arm mere centimeters away from her. Before quickly responding with a hopeful though also panicked "YES, YES! PLEASE HELP!"
Shortly after, a small wave of energy shot out of the watch, engulfing the area in a brilliant white light. As Kiritsugu's and Shirley's eyes closed from the intensity.
Seconds later, as the both of them opened their eyes, he looked at his friend, as his friend looked at her own body. Feeling it with her hands that, though was still covered in chickens blood, she had full control over now.
Both couldn't help but smile in relief, as tears rolled down their faces. With Shirley soon feeling his body collide into hers as he embraced her in a deep hug.
Years Later...
Eyes darted through the file, as a man in church atire scanned each word thoroughly making sure to not miss any important piece of information on the man pictured in the file. Though he couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, as he continued to read the file. Each bite of information continued to bewilder him more than the last. Before stopping completely as he finished reading of the man's recorded exploits.
"He's very different compared to his father" He observed, looking at another file planted on the edge of his desk, shaking his head as he stopped thinking on the dead man, and refocused on his progeny.
Eventually he leaned back on his chair, letting go of the file from his hands, managing to gather his thoughts. Leaving the room with the file on the desk, the man on the file pictured simply sitting with another person in front of a café on the side of a beach. His face turning towards the direction opposite of the camera, though even from that angle it was clear that the man was smiling. A genuine smile at that.
Though there were other photographs inside the file. Pictures taken of unknown creatures seen by most but remained unexplainable to many.
A plantlike figure with a firey colored head battling what looked like a massive golem in the middle of the woods.
Multiple pictures of several small identical beings with fin-like protrusions jutting out of their heads surveying a city hit by a massive earthquake.
A being with a head disconnected from it's yellow and black body, seemingly telekinetically pulling a damaged cruise ship towards land.
What seemed to be a living furnace walking out from a nearly destroyed nuclear facility.
A mono-eyed humanoid with tail-like appendages coming from it's head that appeared recently, coinciding with a blackout in the area the picture was taken in.
There were many, many more. Each different from eachother, yet all had one thing in common.
A green hourglass symbol, present on the creatures' bodies.
The same symbol seen peaking out of the mans sleeve.
A simple crossover idea combined with a need to have a fic where Shirley is saved from going full Dead Apostle (Can anyone recommend one?). And boom! I made myself a short little oneshot.
Anyways how's everyones rolls going for Earth and Xu Fu? I managed to get Earth and NP2 Hephaestion so I'm really happy right now.
