This whole story is based off of the Calamity Mod and Total Calamity Wiki. Introducing a whole new world beside the world of Total Calamity, Another story idea that I want to type from time to time. For half of the chapter, it's more of a prestory before actually getting into the story. Some words that look weird, they're word that were made up for the story, typing this on my own and revisioning. So expect some mistakes in phrasing, that's about it. Enjoy.

A universe is born, the big bang making it into existence and life is born. In the middle of the universe, a race of gods emerge from the center of the galaxy. The gods of light, emerging from the huge bright star, spreading around the galaxy. Going planet after planet bringing life to each and every single one, making a sun in the center of their solar systems and galaxies. After spreading their light across the universe, watching their universe grow and shine with the many stars that were created. However, they become circumspect of their creation, knowing to bring order as sentient life is created in those light. Wanting to be joyous of their creation experiencing their world, whatever tries to grow power that surpasses the minor gods that are created as well. They must terminate them, bringing balance, order and sustainment.

Until, the gods of darkness invade their universe of pure light, wreaking havoc on some worlds that corrupts some of them. Half the gods of Light fight back these dark gods, fights and conflicts ensues between them. Corrupting the ⅛ of the universe, some worlds both have light and darkness in them. The universe continues after billions of years, and the conflict between the two god races also ensues. Eventually, the gods of lights declare war on the gods of darkness, calling the pre-time war between them, Levation of Fate. (Levation in this case, means the shambles of the universe)

The gods of light form together into one entity, forming into their elder god of Light, Dhgen. Making the strongest thing in the universe, destroying almost every single god of darkness in their territory. The moon lord and Cthulhu escape their slaughter into the void outside the universe. It was ever hardly called a war, more like a mass genocide of the dark gods. The gods of darkness' disappearance brings equality of the universe's fate, as Dhgen the final true god of light settles to watch the universe grow again. Not wanting to disturb his creation anymore, until a hungry powerful being to terminate. From then on, many millions of years pass and conflict ensues on some of the planets. Until that tranquility doesn't last any longer, as they are back. Cthulhu and the Moon Lord come from the void. Bringing along the void within, the void god, Lextan. With many more gods on their side, they were able to kill Dhgen.

Making a new era of destruction, wrecking their havoc across the universe. Some started their rampage on the world of terraria, killing a lot of the species in terraria. Destroying almost every species, for all of them have to hide in the world of terraria. The mass genocide of basically everything in the universe, gods and demigods hide themselves across the universe. However, they refuse to hide all the time, killing the gods of darkness one by one. Eventually after a trillion years of fighting, the gods were able to overthrow the darkness. Leaving the Moon Lord's power trapped in the deepest cult, Cthulhu pieces scattered across the universe. Lextan, returning to its home of the void, never to be seen until summoned again. Many others, unknown of what happened to them. Soon after the universe was in Levation, nothing was the same ever again. Soon minor gods become the strongest gods, controlling only boundaries with their powers. Life, like it always does, comes back after the catastrophe of the universe. New gods, old gods, sustaining what was left from the gods of light. (Kinda information overload, but it's a good way to explain the cruel world :) )

The Dryads, humans, Lihzahrds, Dwarfs, many more species come out of hiding, reliving the world they call Terraria. Rebuilding, reforming, recollecting everything that was taken away. Soon the peaceful era starts, no conflicts of gods, no overruling gods, only easement. Everything settles in the universe, no major power hungry being, only tranquillement. Even after the death of Dhgen, life grows slow, never knowing the time of their creators. Although another thing looms over the whole universe's levation, there's hope. In another dimension, where it looks like the void outside of the universe. It's more of the calm and nothingness in the propentual space. A light shining in space, something being born in this dimension. It shines very brightly in the empty space, shining more light like a great star. It dims ever so slowly, a person in the middle of it all. Unconscious, a figure limp there in the middle of it all, being teleported away in the dimension. Teleported to the universe, more specifically Terraria itself. Teleporting onto a tree, more like setting him down as giving a beautiful view of the land. The portal closes and the wind blows on him, the sun sets and the moon rises, night falls, the light shines, as days pass by. Starting the story of Xenon, an unknown variable of the fast tale of Terraria: The Tale of a Cruel World.

Xenon wakes up, finding himself sleeping against the tree. In an open field covered by grass, flowers around him and he gets up. Next to him was a white long curved sword in its sheath, picking it up and putting the strap around him. Xenon also notices what he was wearing, a white tattered cloak with dark-brown boots. Underneath it all, a strong plate of armors under the tattered cloth. The pretty sun shining over the miles and miles of the plain soothed his soul, noticing a city in the distance many miles away. He starts walking over to the town, but realizes how long it would take to walk that distance. Wanting to find another way to get to the town to investigate, a vision appeared in his eyes. Realizing deep within his soul, he has power that he's able to conjure up. Instead, trying to focus his soul to conjure up something to fly, as translucent wings conjure at his back. He notices this, gazing into its translucent and attempting to fly. A first good attempt after not knowing how to fly, floating off the ground and falling on the ground. Attempt after attempt at failing, grasping, and learning, he knows the motion of how to fly. Yet more unstable, grasping it very quickly as he heads towards the town. Usually gliding from high places, encountering harmless mobs that surround him that don't harm him. Stopping for a bit as he's exhausted, leaning against a tree on a branch. Birds come flying in and sitting next to Xenon, sitting on his legs and hands when he reaches out. Whatever this is, he's not normal nor knows what he even is. Continuing his journey, ever so slowly growing closer to the city.

He arrives at the outskirts of the city, conjuring back up his wings as he looks at this huge concrete wall. Entering a huge gate that some people are going through, guards standing on each side to protect them from mobs. Making his way through some people, he finds himself in the streets of the complicated infrastructure. Not knowing what to see, people making food, walking around, and. bargaining? Xenon having mixed emotions about this, walking around uncomfortable. Entering into a building, as he's able to take a breather. Seeing a calm atmosphere in the building, where there's many people. However, muttering to each other in groups, with a campfire in the building. Xenon walks around, exploring the place that he's unfamiliar to. Until he's called out by a person, turning around to hear a person at a counter and walks up to them.

"Hey, I'm Zerk and welcome to the Commision Guild. Anything I can do for you?" He says to Xenon.

"?" Xenon question, he hasn't grasped the language of what he's talking about. However, understanding what he's asking by body language.

"Not much of a talker ey, that's alright here. Anyways, I haven't seen you here, wanna join the guild?" Zerk asks Xenon.

"?" Xenon questions even more, harder to read the body language of what he's talking about.

"Oh shit my bad, here" Zerk says, grabbing a huge book under the desk, "Take this, this will help."

Xenon grabs the book from Zerk, able to read the language of the book. Not knowing what to do with it, looking at Zerk for answers.

"Oh, uhhhh. Oh, okay. You absorb it like this, being able to know every known language." Zerk explains, showing his magic as he pretends to absorb it.

Xenon understands where he's getting at, attempting to absorb the huge book. Successfully doing it, he's able to understand the language that they're speaking.

"We good, we good. Like I said earlier, would you like to join the guild to earn cash and build up the ranks?" Zerk asks.

"?" Xenon questions, wondering what they would do as he finds the whiteboards and marker. Asking what they do as a Commision Guild.

"Oh um, hold on there was a paper to explain something like this." Zerk says getting paper from under the desk, "Ok, so. What the Guild does is take commissions that lead to hunting, security, labor and such more. Posting it at the guild for anyone that signs in to see, gaining experience and our own current that we use here."

Xenon thinks of what he gains out of this, this affects almost nothing to him and ideals he feels in his soul. Plus extra pros if he were to sign in and be a member of the guild, accepting the offer and shaking his hand. Zerk is happy that another person joins, as he hands him a key.

"This key, this is where you can be housed at. Of course there's rent and such things that you'll have to pay every month, but you'll manage. For now, don't worry about anything and settle in." Zerk says.

Xenon goes to his sorta furnished house, walking around the area awed by this enclosed space to himself. Feeling the place, from different materials, to smells. He wasn't able to settle in, but instead took a Commission from the guild to settle into everything. Going there and going to the boards to see what he can do, skimming through anything interesting. Finding a Commission, to deal with huge swarms of corruption mobs nearby. He takes the paper, leaving the building and heading towards the suburb area. Arriving there and looking at the vast corrupted mobs, gurgling and screaming. He doesn't know how to fight, but has a strong feeling in his soul telling him otherwise. Pulling out his Odachi and unsheathes it, going with his feelings and dealing with the corrupted mobs. Running with his blade towards the mobs and they notice him running. Sprawling towards him, all of them surrounding them as they pounce. Getting close, well not really. Instantly destroyed into slices when they approached Xenon, like a protective barrier. Xenon did use his weapon, it was so fast like there was another blade. As the monster parts fall to the ground, Xenon takes some things that he was told to get from the paper. Tearing through the monster flesh as he holds it in his hands and walks back to the Commission Guild, getting some eyes on him. He enters and brings the requested items, surprising Zerk.

"Woah, these are from the corrupted monsters outside correct?" Zerk asks Xenon.

Xenon agrees, Zerk getting all the hype from this whole deal. Inspecting the parts, and smiling as he goes under.

"Well color me surprise, here you go." Zerk says as he appears back with money and a card. "Made this 15 minutes ago and your reward, why it's so high is because of the casualties. Many people attempted to terminate the swarm, but ended up pretty badly injured. Good job," Zerk says.

Xenon bows at him, this was pretty fun for him to do. He considered taking another one, but they started to close up. So he chose not to, and headed back to his apartment. Entering his room, still not used to the whole room itself and sits on the dining room chair. Noticing the armor stand locker stand right next to the door, not being able to open it. He Twindle with the keys, finding another key for the locker, as he unlocks it and opens it. He puts his stuff on the armor stand, it was light enough to take it off him easily and put it on the stand. Placing his blade in there and closing it, locking it and sitting down on the couch this time. Surprising him how comfy it was, laying down slowly and starting to daze off. He was still sleepy, falling asleep on the couch all sprawled out. Laying until night, Feeling a quake from deep underground.
