"You can't be a hero, sorry young lady."

The voice of All Might still rang in my mind. I did what I thought was right, I ran away. I ran deep into the city before I realized I was lost. I walked down an alley and heard something behind me.

"You seek power. Why?" a confident female voice said.

I turned to see a shadowy form walking towards me.

"T-to help people. W-who are you?" I asked.

"Now that is a good question," she said. "I've been called many things. Persona, Hero, Villain, Killer. As for what I am, . The question is who do you want to be?"

"I-I want to be a h-hero," I said.

"A hero, like them? The one who beat you and bullied you for years, who told you to kill yourself? Like the man who you looked up to for years who said you couldn't be one because you didn't have a power? Why be like them? Why not do what needs to be done? Criminals and villains run rampant but heroes let them be because they want fame, why don't you do what they won't and end it?" she asked.

"H-how? W-what are you?" I asked.

"I'm you, well I'm the Venom in your mind. A power that has been dormant because of your beliefs, but now they are shattered, I can talk, and give you the power to make you the hero this world needs but not the one they deserve. So, what do you say?" they asked, walking into the light to reveal the fact that they were a darker version of me with a weird substance forming tendrils behind them. She held her hand out and asked, "Are you willing to be a lethal protector?"

"Yes," I said, grasping the hand as they were absorbed into me. "All Might was right, I can't be a hero, but I can be better, an Anti-Hero," I muttered, smirking as I felt my new power surging through me.

*Two Weeks Later*

"Hey boss, the boys are back. They all sold out," a small-time thug said.

"Good, tell them t-gah!" the boss grunted as I jumped from my spot in the rafters onto him.

"Shit, it's a hero!" the thug said, pulling a gun on me.

"I'm not a hero," I said, breaking the boss's leg. "I'm Phantom," I said, sending a tendril of slimy black stuff at him, throwing him into the wall. I walked out and saw all the drug dealers looking around the warehouse we were in. I jumped down and broke one of their arms. I then moved as one behind me went to punch me. I kicked him back and grabbed one with a tendril and threw him at another. I then felt a pull in my head from both the right and behind me. I moved out of the way of the strike coming from the right but the knife from behind got me right in the shoulder blade. I turned and shot a tendril out of my arm at him, blinding him as I swept his legs out from under him. I then used some of my black slimy stuff to make webbing to hold them down. I looked around to see they were all down. I then went through their pockets and took the money.

"Well, who would've thought a strong young girl would do my job for me," a sultry voice said behind me. I turned to see Midnight. "The problem is I know you don't have a license and aren't a hero, so I'm going to have to take you in," she said, putting her arm up and releasing her quirk.

"Here's the issue, I'm immune to all poisons and toxins," I said, walking through the gas. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you, you're a True hero, unlike others you work with," I said, before charging her with a tendril.

"Oh, and who might you be talking about?" she asked, flipping out of the way.

"Eraserhead and Present Mic. Both are good heroes, but both also have their downfalls as well. Present Mic's radio show shouldn't just be about music and the top heroes, but also be encouraging for kids that what their quirk is doesn't matter," I said, going for a low kick.

"Hmm, true I guess, but what about Eraser?" she asked, taking a whip out.

"First off, kinky," I smirked. "And he has driven a lot of kids to villainy from how many students he removes from the hero course each year because either their quirk or they didn't meet his unrealistic ideals for what they should be able to do in year one. He shouldn't be a homeroom teacher but just heroics and his ability to expel students should be monitored by the principal," I said, leaping back as my trap was set.

"Hmm, well I suppose that's true. But why are you doing this?" she asked, strutting towards me.

"These dealers have been on the streets for years, dealing drugs, killing, and even going as far as raping girls. The heroes in this area did nothing for years so I did," I said. "And I'm sorry about this," I added.

"Huh?" she asked, as her body froze up as a tendril slithered up her leg and wrapped around it. I then pulled her up and webbed her up. "You have tentacles and think my whip is kinky?" she smirked.

"Tendrils, but close, and we both know what that whip is meant for," I added, before turning and running into the distance. Holy crap, holy crap, holy crap. I just fought Midnight and won! I thought, making my way to the apartment building I was staying in. I walked in from the window and took my black hooded tank off before removing my padded t-shirt. I left my shirt under that and jeans on. "For only having my quirk and plan for a couple of weeks that went well," I sighed.

"I would say so," a voice called out from behind me.

"How is it you can sneak up on me Araya?" I asked, seeing the woman who owned to apartment.

"Because, I'm not a threat," she said. "And call me Runa."

"Well, you sort of are since you took me in after I was declared dead," I countered.

"Izumi, you know I wouldn't. One, that is way too low for anyone, and secondly I fully agree with your mission. Now what's the injuries?" she asked, grabbing her first aid kit.

"Stabbed in the shoulder blade," I said, showing her the wound.

"If I wasn't a doctor you would be going to the hospital, you know that right?" she sighed, sitting down to look at it.

"I'm still amazed you just took me in," I said.

"Well, when I saw you walking down the street and remembered seeing a photo of you on television saying how you were a quirkless orphan who was caught by a villain and was said to have caused him to lose said villain and that the cops were looking for you I was curious. After hearing what All Might told you and what caused me to stop being the hero Rune and be just a doctor I thought the best would be to take you in. Then hearing about your plan to do what heroes should do, well I just had to keep you to make sure a kid like you didn't die. And there," she said, finishing the stiches. "How are you still going?" she asked.

"After years of torture and torment from my peers and their quirks, a knife and stiches are nothing," I sighed.

"So, what's next?" she asked.

"Now, we find my next target," I said, opening the laptop and pulling up a bunch of photos of heroes.

"Ya know, there's someone else out there with ideals like yours, but then they went too far and started killing heroes because they realized that they didn't do anything like they should've," Araya said, walking behind me.

"Stain's ideals and mine are different. He believes All Might is the greatest hero and all others should be like him. He goes after heroes that do some good, just not how he thinks they should. Take Quick for example. Stain killed him for not doing much to stop crime, but he was in an area of little crime and was the only hero that patrolled there. Quick wasn't a bad hero at all and he was killed," I explained. "And unlike him, I won't kill unless there becomes a need where it's my life or theirs."

"You're only fourteen almost fifteen and you already know you can take a life if it calls for it, how?" she asked.

"Honestly, when my quirk awakened it was weird, like a switch in my mind flipped. Like all the dark ideas in the back of my mind came to the front," I explained.

"I'm still trying to figure out what that was. I've never heard of a quirk awakening like that, one awakening this late, pushing it slightly but believable," Araya said. "Mister Blaster, who's that?" she asked, looking at the file I clicked on.

"My first big target," I said, looking at the information I threatened out of the information broker I found.

AN-

This is my Anti-Hero Izumi fic. Originally another fic was going to have them start as a hero and become an Anti-Hero but I decided to stop that since it would've ruined another part of it. So I decided to use another idea for a quirk I had and use it. Then I realized what would happen if I fused it with another idea I've used then I realized I just made a plot line with an amazing quirk. Then I thought, well, that's for a future chapter.
