Hello, this is my first Fan-fiction. I'm a big fan of Encanto and Marvel, however I do not own them. This Fan-fiction is a story of Hurt/Comfort for Mirabel and a Romance for Dolores. This is me taking up the Venomized Madrigal challenge. Positive criticism is welcome, and the next chapter is set for Tuesday.

It was sudden, and Ironic. He Just graduated high school and it was summer, and his dad worked as a CDL driver for a trash company. Who'd have thought that he would have his end by a trash truck.

"Well, That sucked… never even got my first job," He said, he felt no pain, just weightlessness in a black void. He felt another 'soul' for the lack of a better term pushing against his own, it was so pure, and so trying to push him out of where he was, and over time he felt like a mix in a bowl, endless swirling and swirling in combat with this presence vying for dominance of the void. He fought mentally until finally the presence sent a feeling towards him.

Merge? He thought about it, and relented. He became one with the pure soul he felt with him, he felt things in his consciousness getting a tune up, new things took up spots in his consciousness, he felt it expand as mental flaws were removed.

If he were to say how much of himself vs how much the other soul were in this new being he would say 80:20 ratio with him being the bigger component to this new being.

His old selves didn't really fit this new entity anymore, it didn't feel like him, but as he thought of a new name to build his new identity on, all that came back was hunger…. He just wanted to chomp something… wait, Chomper, it was perfect, the perfect name. It was a perfect mixture of intimidation and comedy, he dubbed himself Chomper

What interested the new being was he no longer was getting intrusive thoughts, he still felt restless from his ADHD though, as the black void and lack of senses left him starving for stimulation. You know reading people's near death experiences he expected something like a blackout and total unconsciousness, he wasn't really religious like his mom, so he thought death was a cessation of existence.

However, He didn't think he would be conscious in a dreadfully boring void, although his mind couldn't take the stress any longer. "Stories, maybe that will work." So he did. He let his mind drift into the plots of his own device, weaving stories in his boredom. He didn't know how long he was in that state and didn't really pay attention, until one day as he was thinking about the 8th chapter of a potential superhero story.

Everything was shaking.

This, understandably, freaked out Silence as he thought that you weren't supposed to feel anything when you are dead. Then everything started to get hotter and hotter and HOT OH GOD MAKE IT STOP! It all came to a sudden halt as he felt a large crash and a crack above him, he felt as if he was cooked alive and very very weak. All he saw was a black void, blind to wherever he was. Then he tried to move, and all he could manage was crawling out of what felt like a hot ditch, he began to feel cool grass under him.

As he began to think about his predicament he began to feel unbearably cold and hungry, and he felt the vibrations and footsteps of something coming his way. So he felt himself instinctually sink below the grass for cover, he 'felt' himself 'turn' to 'see' what was there and saw a glowing humanoid outline of a girl, she looked like a sun goddess manifest.

"Oh bueno, es solo un meteorito. No hay de qué preocuparse, puedo informarle a la abuela mañana.." Said the Stranger, Chomper couldn't tell you how it happened, but he felt his body instinctually move to the source of heat he saw, he slithered under what felt like the bottom of a dress and seep into the ankle of the person, he felt something as he did so, it felt like he was surrounded by a warm blanket and laying in a comfortable bed. His tired, warm, injured body couldn't take anymore the person let out a quiet grunt and began walking home.

He used her eyes as his and saw and realized something very horrifying, he was in Encanto. And he felt sick using Mirabel as a host. Just my luck he thought, he felt the soothing heartbeat of who he now knew was Mirabel as she walked back to Casita, the moment they crossed the threshold of the door Silence knew the house knew he was hitching a ride. He could see the tiles moving around his host- why was he thinking about Mirabel that way?

'Mirabel, you have an intruder! Mirabel listen!' He could feel Casita's tiles brushing up against Mirabel's feet, she talked to the house and told her of her discovery, and told it to relax. Chomper still felt weak and hungry, all of a sudden he was hit with a strange hunger and smelled something he hasn't had for a while, chocolate. He could feel himself salivating, and all of a sudden the moving around him stopped. Mirabel swallowed, and turned around and made her way to the fridge in the kitchen.

Chocolate he felt Mirabel and himself think the same time, he felt her reach towards the homemade chocolate, he learned through her memories that Julieta had made this two days ago, he painstakingly waited as she brought the piece of the bar to her mouth, every second that slipped by felt like thousands of years from his perspective until she bit into the chocolate. Like a dehydrated man in the desert getting his first drink of water he felt euphoric, a buzz filled his being like a colony of one million bees, his head and thoughts fluffy like cotton candy. In his Optimistic Nihilist mind he felt a sudden surge of one desire, LIVE, never before has he felt such a strong urge to continue and on top of that he was starting to feel better, a lot better. As he came down from his chocolate high he realized something, being in a Meteor, the bodiless feeling, crawling on the ground, merging and seeing through Mirabel's eyes, referring to her as a host, and a craving for Chocolate that made him feel healthier, he was a Klyntar.

All of that didn't fully sink in as after the sugar high he felt the crash, he felt his host climb up the stairs, and as she began her nightly routine he gave her her privacy and tuned out of her senses. He felt her shift and lay on her side sideways in a bed one size too small and knew she was in bed, his crash was becoming all encompassing and he was lulled to sleep by the sound of his host's heartbeat, instinctually his black mass hugged her internally as he drifted off to sleep.

—(Mirabel POV)—-

Mirabel knew that she had to tell Abuela about the meteor she found. It started when she was getting ready for bed, the last one as usual, and was checking the rooms of her Familiá to see if they were asleep. It was mostly for her comfort, and was a routine she grew accustomed to. Abuela? Check, Mami? Check, Papi? Check, Camilo? Check, Antonio? Check in his bed in the nursery, Tia Pepa and Tio Felix? Check, Isabella? Check, Luisa? Check, Dolores? Check.

All was well.

That was until she heard a loud crash from a little ways outside the village, letting out a slight shrek. She waited in the nursery to see if anyone woke up to the sound, no one responded, not even Antonio woke up. She straightened up immediately, put on a night gown and took a lantern, with a large Iron skillet and a kitchen knife from the kitchen, and began to sneak outside of Casita.

"Casita, I need to check out there. I'm the only one in the village awake who heard it, the village could be in danger," Said Mirabel.

Casita of course relented after its attempts of trying to stop her from leaving, it knew no one else would check and all their magical rooms were soundproof, and after moving the pans and knives out of her reach, a low creak of defeat exited from the floorboards of the house.

She made her way to where she heard a crash, a good 3 miles outside the village and approached the site. When she came up to the site to get a better look she saw a 1 foot by one foot crater of dirt and singed grass, and in its center was a comet broken in half. "Oh good, it's just a meteor. Nothing to be overly worried about, I can just inform Abuela about it tomorrow. Maybe the village Smithy could see it?"

As Mirabel began to turn to walk back home she felt a chill go up her entire body, starting from her ankles. Weird, she thought, she let out a quiet grunt as she walked back to Casita.

She entered the house, its tiles started to shake slightly, and started to ripple around Mirabel in a worried manner. "I'm fine Casita, it was nothing, a meteor. We are all fine. Just relax." However the house didn't relax, as she walked to the stairs silently she suddenly felt hungry, specifically she had a sweet tooth, a craving for chocolate. A little known fact was Mirabel loved chocolate, it was her favorite snack but this craving was stronger than she ever felt, even on her worst cycles.

So, she walked to the kitchen and opened the fridge taking out a homemade bar of chocolate her Mamá made and taking off a piece to bite.

She was in heaven.

Her body rippled with pleasure like Casitas tiles the moment this heavenly dish touched her tongue. Endorphins began to flood out of the gates like a dam and filled her body with what felt like liquid sunshine from the sunniest day her Tiá could produce, muffling a gasp she looked down to see she had eaten the whole chocolate bar.

Embarrassedly she threw out the wrapping and snuck upstairs wondering what was happening, she snuck into the bathroom to let her hair down and floss and brush her teeth to complete her nightly ritual. She snuck into her room and after removing her slippers slipped under the covers and drifted asleep.

Absent-mindedly she felt warmer, and more comfortable than she had her entire life, she felt like she was sleeping in the embrace of a bath of perfect temperature. Not too hot to sweat in the Colombian air, but not too cold to need more blankets.

In her dreams she dreamt of a comforting male humanoid black figure, covering her with a black blanket, providing warmth, strength, and guardianship. It felt like a warm bath, and she felt something she hadn't felt outside her room in years.

Acceptance.

Don't get her wrong, she loved her family. However she could see the pity and disappointment in their eyes whenever she entered the room, talking down to her with every word as Abuela gave her every minute chore she gave her.

She knew it, even the children of the townspeople knew it. She heard it from the mouths of the children of the town, she knew they didn't mean to hurt her feelings but she couldn't help but feel every word stab her heart like a knife.

It also didn't help that her older sister, Señorita Perfecta Isabelle, overshadowed her, she had attention all the time. Everybody paid attention to her, everybody loved her, she was the town's golden child. She couldn't help but feel a little resentment, she had attention, she had popularity, and she had a perfect gift that could help the town much more than her.

She felt tears roll down her cheek as she drifted deeper into unconsciousness.
