Prologue: Times Change
It had been a few days since Jak and Daxter saved their world. With the help of three girls from a different world, they took down Gol and Maia. The three girls were Amitie, Raffina, and Lidelle… and they were back in Primp Town, along with Klug. For the four of them: It had only been about a single day since the adventure in Jak's world started. Because of that, they didn't miss the next day of Primp Magic School. Aside from that… Jak and Daxter, along with Samos and Keira, were about to get themselves into what might be a much more serious adventure. It all happened for them a few days after Gol and Maia fell into a pool of dark eco… Back at Sandover Village, Keira was examining a machine that the group found at the end of Jak and Daxter's first adventure... and she was almost finished as the others waited.
Samos: "Today's the big day, Jak. I hope you are prepared... for whatever happens."
Keira: "I think I've figured most of this machine out. It somehow interacts with that Precursor Ring. I just hope we didn't break anything while moving it to the lab."
As Keira said that, the four sat on a long seat that was in the machine.
Daxter: "Easy for you to say! We did all the heavy lifting!"
Daxter was about to press a random button on the machine, but Samos stopped him.
Samos: "Daxter, don't touch anything! Though the Precursors have vanished long ago, the artifacts they left behind can still do great harm!"
Keira: "Or great good! If you figure out how to use them, that is."
Samos: "I've had some experience with such things. I know you can make it work."
Jak then touched a gem that was part of the machine and a brown capsule that was in front of Daxter and Keira activated.
Daxter: "Looks like Jak's still got the mojo!"
Keira: "Interesting... It appears to be reading out some preset coordinates."
Daxter: "Wow, look at that!"
The Precursor Ring suddenly triggered, and a bunch of smaller creatures. Then, an unknown voice began to speak...
?: "Finally, the last Rift Gate has been opened!"
This scared Daxter and he hid in the machine for a bit.
Daxter: "Aaaah! What are those things?!"
Samos: "So this is how it happened…"
Then, a HUGE and ugly creature appeared from the Precursor Ring and spoke…
?: "*roar* You cannot hide from me, boy!"
Daxter: "D-do something, Jak! What's this do? O–or that? How 'bout this one? Everybody, press all the buttons!"
Jak pressed a single button, and the machine shot slingshotted itself into the ring. From there, it seemed like the four were traveling through space itself.
Keira: "What WAS that thing?!"
Samos: "Hang on, everyone!"
Daxter: "YYAAAAAAAAAAAAH! I want off this thing!"
Then, the machine ran into something and broke. This caused the four to split apart from each other as they were blasted away.
Everyone: "AAAAAHHHHH!"
Samos: "Find yourself, Jak!"
And then, Jak and Daxter went through what looked like the other end of the Precursor Ring. After that, they were shot to the ground in a strange and new place. They got up and Daxter was holding a pipe, which he decided to throw away in anger.
Daxter: "Okay, I swear... that's the last time I will EVER touch any Precursor crap!"
Then, some guards that were wearing red suits and holding weapons, along with another individual... approached the duo.
Guard: "There he is. Move in. … Hey, step away from the animal!"
As soon as the guards came to them, Daxter screamed and ran away.
Daxter: "AAGGHHHH!"
Then, the standout individual within the guards spoke.
?: "Forget the rat; the Baron wants him!"
Jak then looked at the guards with a shocked face, and the standout individual spoke again.
?: "We've been waiting for you."
And then, Jak was knocked out by one of the guards. Daxter soon began to say something as he ran away.
Daxter: "Don't worry, Jak! I'll save you before you know it!"
But then… two years came and went in this strange place… Within these two years, Jak grew up a bit and was being regularly experimented on by the Baron that one guy mentioned, as well as the very guy himself. The experiments themselves involved Jak being injected with dark eco, and they were painful. One day, they experimented on poor Jak again and injected more dark eco into the boy. The Baron was pacing back and forth, waiting for actually good results to come in.
Jak: "Aaaaaaaaagh!"
Female Computer Voice: "Dark eco injection cycle complete. Bio readings nominal and unchanged."
The Baron: "Hmmppp. Nothing… I was informed that this one might be different!"
?: "He is surprisingly resistant to your... "experiments", Baron Praxis. I fear that the Dark Warrior Program has failed."
This frustrated the Baron and he began to yell at Jak.
Baron Praxis: "Aagghh! You should at least be dead with all the dark eco I've pumped into you!"
?: "What now? Metal Head armies are pressing their attacks. Without a new weapon, my men cannot hold them off forever."
Baron Praxis: "I will not be remembered as the man who lost this city to those vile creatures! Move forward with the final plan! And finish off this... "thing" tonight!"
?: "As you wish."
The Baron left and the unknown individual came up to Jak.
?: "I'll be back later…"
And then... he left as well, leaving Jak all by his lonesome. But, this wouldn't last for long. Suddenly, Daxter came from below in a little elevator. He brought along some stuff as well, and placed it down next to where Jak was restrained
Daxter: "Ding ding... third floor... Body chains, roach food, torture devices. Hey buddy… you seen any heroes around here? WOAH! What'd they do to you? Jak, it's me, Daxter!"
At first Jak didn't say anything because he was in a daze from that dark eco injection. He merely opened his eyes for a second before closing them again.
Daxter: "Well that's a fine hello! I've been crawling around in this place, risking my tail, literally, to save you! I've been looking for you for two years! Please say something, just this once!"
And then… Jak suddenly spoke his first words since who knows how long, and they weren't very nice words...
Jak: "I'm gonna kill Praxis!"
Daxter: "Shhhhhh! Right now, we gotta get you out of here. Just let me figure out how to open the security locks on your chair so…"
All of a sudden, Jak turned into a monster of sorts and proceeded to break out of his restraints.
Jak: "Aaggghhh!"
Daxter: "... Or, uh… you could do it."
Jak then got up from where he laid and slowly approached Daxter. Daxter was scared and he tried to talk to Jak.
Daxter: "J-Jak…? Easy now. Easy buddy. It's, it's your old pal Daxter, remember?"
Jak: "AAGGHHH! … Daxter?"
Just when Jak was about to attack Daxter with a set of claws, he suddenly remembered him and transformed back to normal.
Daxter: "What the heck was that?! Sheesh! Remind me not to piss you off! Come on tall, dark, and gruesome... we're out of here. I uh, brought you some new threads, put 'em on."
And so, Jak put on his new outfit and it looked good on him. He was wearing a blue top and it had added a striking appearance to the guy. From there, Jak and Daxter began to make their way out of Jak's torture room. Jak jumped on top of some crates and got up to a structure that was higher up. Then, he saw a Precursor orb and picked it up.
Daxter: "Jak, these Precursor orbs are rare and are worth a lot more now. We might find a few hidden around, or get some doing difficult tasks. We'll be able to buy stuff with 'em."
After collecting the orb, Jak hopped back down and went up some stairs to get to where he needed to escape from. *Precursor orb no. 1* He made a left and went inside a dark passageway. From there, he navigated through it and made it to a lit room, where a voice suddenly rang out some words.
Female Computer Voice: "Alert: Prison escape in progress."
Daxter: "Uh-oh, it looks like they discovered that you escaped from your restraints, Jak! Run!"
Jak began to pick up the pace and he high jumped to a second Precursor orb. He grabbed it and continued his escape. *Precursor orb no. 2* Jak got on some more crates and jumped to a higher part of this room. He then went forward and took a left into a short passageway. This led him to a room with some wide platforms, as well as a couple of small red crates.
Daxter: "Jak, there are lots of Krimzon Guard crates lying around for the taking. Break that crate!"
Jak cracked open the crates and two health packs popped out.
Daxter: "Great! Those crates had health packs inside; pick 'em up. You'll want to keep healthy, Jak, or uh, who'll do the fighting?"
Jak took the health packs in and he was healed a bit. Then, he jumped across those wide platforms and made his way up to the top point of the room. As he did, the computer voice came up again.
Female Computer Voice: "You are in a restricted sector. This sector is on high alert."
Jak continued his escape and encountered a couple of those Krimzon Guards.
Daxter: "Guards, Jak! Do your uh, stuff."
Jak went up to the guards and punched both of them a couple of times before they went down. Then... he saw a Precursor orb on top of a machine, high jumped to it, and collected it. *Precursor orb no. 3* From there, Jak moved on to a swinging pole and used it to get to the next part of the room. He spin jumped over to a wide platform that was moving back and forth, and hopped to another section of the room. He cracked open a couple more crates and little dark ecos appeared. Jak took them in and saw two more guards closing in on him. He uppercutted the first one and spin kicked the other one to take them both out.
Then, Jak went forward and rolled over a sizable gap. But then, he saw another orb at the bottom of that gap he rolled over. So, he jumped down to grab it… and he got on more crates to return to where he rolled from. Then, he rolled over the gap again and continued forward by rolling over a deep pit. After that, he made a left and couldn't see much. The next section was dark, and it was only lit by a couple of red lights. Jak began to walk over a grated floor and Krimzon Guards from below saw him.
Krimzon Guard 1: "There he is; shoot him!"
The guards started to shoot through the grated floor above them and Jak had to dodge many incoming bullets as he walked over the floor. Along the way he grabbed another Precursor orb. *Precursor orb no. 4* Then, another Krimzon Guard spoke…
Krimzon Guard 2: "The prisoner is on level two, don't let escape!"
Jak went past the grated floor and approached a breakable platform.
Daxter: "If you jump then dive, you'll crash down to the ground hard enough to break platforms like this one. Breaking stuff's fun right?"
Jak proceeded to dive down on the platform, breaking in, and he ended up in another well-lit room. From there, he walked out of it and went into another section. He rolled over another deep pit and got to a room that had two more guards posted. They didn't notice Jak entering as they spoke to each other.
Krimzon Guard 1: "Seen anything?"
Krimzon Guard 2: "Nope."
Jak came up from behind and sneak attacked the guards. Those two never saw it coming and quickly went down. Then, Jak dived through another breakable platform and immediately started to slide down from where he landed. As he did, the computer voice came up a third time.
Female Computer Voice: "There is no escape."
And then, Jak landed in some water and quickly swam out of it. From there, he busted a couple of Krimzon Guard crates open to grab what was inside. Not like he needed them, though… Then, he saw two orbs and high jumped to where they were. He grabbed it and saw another orb in the water. *Precursor orb numbers 5 and 6 * He made his way over to this other orb and grabbed it. *Precursor orb no. 7* After that, he high jumped to another part of the room and escaped the building by falling down from a shaft.
Daxter: "Wooh! We're home free, Jak… thanks to me! Nice to breathe some fresh air, huh? Don't worry, we'll get that Baron Praxis guy later."
Jak started walking around… and encountered an old man and a young boy. The old man came up to Jak and began to talk to him.
Old Man: "Hello strangers, my name is Kor. May I help-"
As this old man was saying that, Jak approached the old man in an intimidating fashion and…
Jak: "You look like a reasonably smart man. I want information: Where the hell am I?!"
Daxter faced the child that was with Kor and said something to him.
Daxter: "Uh... sorry. He's new to the whole conversation thing."
Kor: "Well, my angry young friend... you are a "guest" of his "majesty" Baron Praxis, the ruler of "glorious" Haven City."
Jak: "I was just a "guest" in the good Baron's prison."
Kor: "Inside a cell, or inside the city... walls surround us both; we are all his prisoners."
Kor turned around and saw Krimzon Guards approaching the area.
Kor: "Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time… I'd move on if I were you.
Krimzon Guard 1: "By order of his eminence, the Grand Protector of Haven City, Baron Praxis: Everyone in this section is hereby under arrest for suspicion of harboring Underground fugitives. Surrender and die!"
Daxter: "Uh, excuse me sir... but don't you mean: "Surrender, OR DIE"?!"
Kor: "Not in this city! Protect us from these guards, and I'll introduce you to someone who can help you!"
Jak decided to beat down on some Krimzon Guards, and he suddenly transformed into the monster that he was when he broke free from those restraints. And he went crazy on the guards, clawing away at them. Once every single one of them went down, Jak turned to his normal self.
Daxter: "That was cool! Do it again."
Jak: "Something's... happening to me. Something he did... I can't control it!"
Kor: "Very impressive."
Daxter looked at Jak and spoke to him.
Daxter: "Uh... you okay, Jak?"
After that, Kor began to speak again.
Kor: "What you just did was very brave. This child here is important."
Daxter: "This kid? He looks kinda scruffy."
Then, a Krimzon Guard arrived in a ship and said something before leaving.
Krimzon Guard: "You are in a restricted zone. Move along."
When the guard left, Kor started to finish what he was saying.
Kor: "Thank you for your help, but I must get this boy to safety."
Daxter: "Hey! What about us?"
Kor: "There is an underground group waging war against Baron Praxis. Its leader, the Shadow, could use fighters like you. Go to the slums, and find a dead-end alley near the city wall. Ask for Torn, he can help you."
Then Kor left with the child by his side and Jak went over to a nearby map to see where he was. Using this map, he mentally made a path to the slums and started to make his way over there. Meanwhile… back in the bustling place known as Primp Town: Amitie and her friends had been living life like normal for two months after their adventure in Jak's world came to a close. They were in Ms. Accord's class and it was currently autumn. Outside was a bit chilly… and that chill got into the school. Amitie, Raffina, and Klug all shivered from it while they learned. Lidelle, though? She was fine, since she always wore that sweater of hers. Once the school day was over, they all met each other in the forest and began to talk.
Amitie: "Geez, why does it have to be chilly right now?"
Raffina: "Amitie, it's autumn; you should have expected this."
Amitie: "I-I know, but…"
Klug: "Honestly, I can't blame you, Amitie… I must admit that this chill isn't exactly comfortable for me. That, and I don't like how it's affecting my glasses."
Lidelle: "A-and meanwhile, I've been just fine with my trusty sweater. I don't really feel cold, outside of my face."
Raffina: "Do you ever take that sweater off, Lidelle?"
Lidelle: "O-of course I do, Raffina… but I only do so when I'm at home. I don't want anyone to… to… see my hands. That's why you all have only seen these sweater sleeves covering my arms."
Amitie: "What? Why the heck don't you want anyone to see your hands?"
Lidelle: "B-because… I'm afraid that you'll judge them harshly… They're not normal hands, and I keep them covered because of that. I'm sorry…"
Raffina: Lidelle, it's fine… If you feel like you need to keep your sweater on in public for that reason, then I'll respect your privacy."
Lidelle: "Oh, thank you, Raffina!"
Amitie: "Ooough… I really wanna get out of this chill."
Klug: "Hmm… Then maybe I have a suggestion for us: Let's go back to Jak's world! Besides, I've been itching to learn even more about eco… as well as that world."
Amitie: "O-oh yeah! That thing we got just before coming back from that adventure! It can take us to Jak's world anytime we want!"
Lidelle: "I would love to see Jak and Daxter again…"
Amitie: "Me too, Lidelle! Raffina, are you coming with us?"
Raffina: "Heh. Sure, why not? It's not like I'm doing anything else right now."
Klug: "Then it's been decided! I'll fire up the Warp Gate Maker, and we'll jump in a warp gate that will take us to Sandover Village. So please wait a moment."
Once Klug prepared the Precursor device, it fully activated and used some blue eco that was stored inside to make a temporary warp gate appear.
Klug: "All right, it's ready; jump in!"
Amitie: "Alley-oop!"
Raffina: "Ha!"
Lidelle: "Upsy-daisy."
Klug: "Geronimooooo!"
One by one, they all went into the warp gate. It didn't leave though, and someone saw the four go into it. This person was a dark mage who was named: Schezo Wegey. When he saw this unfold before his eyes he approached the warp gate.
Schezo: "... What is this strange energy that I'm feeling? It's definitely not magic… And just where do those four go after going through this? … I don't know why, but I feel as though I need to let Comet Warlock know about this."
Schezo hastily left the area to go and see if he could find this "Comet Warlock". The individual that he was referring to was a guy called Lemres. Meanwhile… Amitie and her friends were traveling through the warp gate and they ended up on the other side. When they came out of it and ended up in Samos' hut, though… the green sage himself was nowhere to be seen. And immediately after they all appeared in the hut, the warp gate deactivated.
Amitie: "Huh? Where's Samos? He should be here, right?"
Raffina: "He should be... but I don't see him anywhere."
Klug: "Hmm… the warp gate on this side deactivated. Let me see if I can… … There we go, it's still working… though, it appears that the gate itself has been damaged."
As Klug said that, Lidelle was looking outside. The sky was dark and stormy… and it was at this point she gasped.
Lidelle: "*gasp*"
Raffina: "Wh-what is it, Lidelle?"
Lidelle: "Guys… I think you should really take a look outside…"
The others each raised an eyebrow before going to see whatever Lidelle saw out there. And then… they saw the things that made Lidelle gasp.
Amitie: "Wh-what the heck are those things?! They look so creepy!"
Raffina: "And what happened to the village?! It's been completely torn to shreds!"
Klug: "... This is horrible… … Guys, I think Jak and the others are in danger; we need to find them."
Amitie, Raffina, and Lidelle: "Y-yeah!"
The four began to look around the village from where Samos' hut was and couldn't see any other people whatsoever. Then, they noticed that ring just outside of the hut… as well as a ramp that went right to it.
Raffina: "What is this big ring here…?"
Klug: "I-I don't know, Raffina… but it seems to still be working. … Maybe those guys travel through that ring...?"
Amitie: "They did?"
Klug: "W-well… I can only assume that to be the case. Also, those strange creatures are coming in and out of it."
Amitie: "If they did, then we need to go in after them!"
Raffina: "H-hold on, Amitie… Is that really such a good idea? What if we end up in a place that we can never get out of? We had a difficult time just trying to get out of this world when we went on that adventure with Jak and Daxter. And if we don't come back, then other people from our world will start wondering where we disappeared to."
Amitie: "But we have to do something, Raffina! We came all this way and now we know that our newest friends were sent somewhere else… We can't just leave things as they are!"
Lidelle: "I-I don't know, Amitie… On one hand, I really want to see if Jak, Daxter, Keira, and Samos are all okay… But on the other… I don't know if we should risk ourselves here."
Amitie: "Y-you too, Lidelle…?"
Klug: "... I really want to figure out what happened here. I'm not going back to Primp Town until I do… And the only way to know for sure is by going in that ring!"
Raffina: "Then we're split on this, it seems… … Again, is it really okay for us to just charge straight into the-"
Amitie: "I don't care, I'm going in! I wanna see if my friends are okay!"
Amitie began to run up the ramp with every bit of energy she had. The others saw this and they panicked.
Raffina, Lidelle, and Klug: "A-Amitie!"
They followed her up the ramp, but before they could stop her from going in alone… she jumped off the ramp and went into the Precursor Ring.
Raffina: "That idiot! She still decided to charge into the ring and now she's not here anymore."
Klug: "Then there's no time to waste! We need to go after her!"
Raffina and Lidelle: "Yeah!"
The three all ran up the ramp again and jumped into the ring. They traveled through the space inside and held hands to stay together. But then, something hit the trio and they lost a hold over each other."
Raffina, Lidelle, and Klug: "Aaaaaaaaah!"
And then… they were sent to the same place that Jak and Daxter were sent to: Haven City. The trio was separated as they fell to their respective landing sights. As for Amitie… her whereabouts remained unknown. Meanwhile, back in Amitie's world… Schezo got in contact with Lemres and told him what he saw. Then, he showed him the thing that he saw Amitie and her friends go into. As Lemres inspected what he thought was an unusual portal, he was perplexed by the energy being emitted by it.
Lemres: "Hmm… And you saw them go through this portal?"
Schezo: "Yes. I have no idea where it leads to, but I had a feeling that those four were getting themselves in danger."
Lemres: "So… why did you get me?"
Schezo: "You know a lot about teleportation, correct?"
Lemres: "I do, but what does that have to do with-"
Schezo: "Arle's friend went in there, Comet Warlock. What if she never comes out of it? If Arle finds out about this, then she'll worry so much about her and possibly try to go in after her. Comet Warlock, you know that I want to make Arle my desire. I can't just let her slip away from me!"
Lemres: "Why? So that she can be your lover?"
Schezo: "N-no! You KNOW that's not what I meant!"
Lemres: "*chuckle* Yeah, I know… I just wanted to mess with ya."
Schezo: "Ugh… Anyway, are you going to go after those four? You care about them, do you not?"
Lemres: "... Ya know what? I might just do that. I care about Amitie's well-being, and Klug looks up to me."
Schezo: "Then go do what you think is right. I'll be leaving now, and-"
Before Schezo could leave though, Lemres grabbed him by the shoulder.
Lemres: "Uh-uh-uh, Schezo… you're comin' with me."
Schezo: "*growls* Fine, I'll go… But don't expect me to help you with anything, Comet Warlock."
Lemres: "All riiight! Let's go, Schezo."
The two jumped into the warp gate and they disappeared. As they did… someone else watched them go in. This someone else was a girl with purple hair, and she had a gothic lolita look to her. This girl's name was Feli, and she was obsessed with Lemres. She saw him go in there and wondered to herself.
Feli: "Where is Lemres going…? And what's up with that portal?"
Feli walked up to the portal and examined it. Then she felt an energy that was completely unknown to her.
Feli: "Hmm… The energy being emitted by this thing is unlike anything I've ever felt before. Regardless, I'll follow Lemres wherever he goes… and soon enough, I'll make him mine!"
Feli giggled to herself and jumped into the warp gate. The warp gate on this side disappeared after she went in. Meanwhile… Lemres and Schezo came out the other end of the warp gate, and they looked at their surroundings."
Lemres: "Woah…"
Schezo: "Where the hell are we, Comet Warlock?"
Lemres: "I dunno… but this has to be the place that Amitie and her friends ended up at; I can feel Amitie's distinct energy signature. They must've come here pretty recently too, 'cause the energy feels fresh. … It goes outside, Schezo... follow me."
Schezo: "Tch. Very well…"
The two left the hut they were in and they saw an entire village being ravaged by strange creatures.
Lemres and Schezo: "...?!"
Lemres: "D-did Amitie and her friends come here out of urgency…?"
Schezo: "N-no… I didn't see serious faces on those four… They were all smiling when they jumped into that portal."
Lemres: "What? So then why…?"
Schezo: "... I'm going to assume that they didn't expect this place to be ravaged like this…"
Lemres: "Hmm… … …! Schezo, I feel more of Amitie's energy over there."
Schezo: "By that... ring?"
Lemres: "Actually, I think it's going into the ring...! That must be where they all went!"
Schezo: "Oh great, more traveling through portals… What did you get me into, Comet Warlock?"
Lemres: "Does that really matter at this point, Schezo? We've already gotten this far; we shouldn't stop here."
Schezo: "*sigh* As much as I hate to admit it, you're right."
Lemres: "Then let's get in that ring already!"
Lemres and Schezo ran up the ramp that led to the ring and jumped into the ring. And then, Feli came out of the warp gate and ended up in the hut as well. The warp gate itself gave in and deactivated as she took in her surroundings, and spoke to herself.
Feli: "Hmm… It looks like I'm in some kind of village. Now, where can I find Lemres…? I know his energy very well, and I won't be misled. … It went outside."
Feli went outside and saw this village being torn up by creatures unknown to her.
Feli: "Wh-what are those creatures…?"
As she wondered to herself, one of the creatures appeared before her.
Feli: "...! S-stay away, you disgusting... thing! Zodiac! ... …?"
As Feli tried to use that spell of hers… it didn't work, because there weren't any Puyos in Jak's world. However, she didn't know that there weren't any around.
Feli: "W-what the hell?! Why can I use my magic here?! … Fine then, take this! HIIIIIYAH!"
Feli jumped and kicked the creature down hard. It keeled over, and out came a weird yellow-looking gem. Feli picked up the gem and looked at it.
Feli: "Hmm… This gem came from that creature's forehead... … Ah-! What am I doing?! I need to follow Lemres' energy signature! … It goes over to that ring…? No, wait a second… it goes INTO that ring! If that's the case, then… Lemres, look out: Here I come! You WILL be mine!"
Feli pocketed the gem and ran up the ramp leading to the ring before jumping in. She began to travel through the space within. And little did any of these individuals know… everything was set into motion. Meanwhile, a figure that lived in a place called "the farthest edge of spacetime" had just finished watching everything unfold before his eyes… and he was worried.
?: "Oh no… These kids are about to get into another adventure in that world, and I can tell that this is going to be even more dangerous than the first one there. … Haven City, huh? This city seems to be in a mess right now... and a guy known as Baron Praxis is ruling it with an iron fist. … Something here perplexes me: Why is time flowing faster in that world than it does in the entire Puyo Puyo dimension? For Jak and Daxter, two years have already passed. But for me and everyone in the Puyo Puyo dimension… only two months had gone by. Just what is up with this major discrepancy in the flow of time? … I must find out what's causing this to happen."
And so, this person got to work on figuring that discrepancy out...
Author's Notes: Oh boy, I put a lot of thought behind who was going to go in after Amitie and her friends. I knew that I couldn't put in too many of the Puyo Puyo characters in this situation, because that would've just made this bloated. So, I put in the three characters that I thought were going to be the coolest additions to the overall cast. These characters are, of course: Lemres, Schezo, and Feli. And just like Amitie and her friends from Puyo Puyo and the Precursor Legacy… these three will all get some kind of character development in this story. Anyway, it looks like Amitie and friends are going to have another adventure in Jak's world. This time though, things have changed drastically and the Puyo Puyo characters are still in the dark with a lot of things.
And speaking of them… Amitie and her friends have been separated from each other. Raffina, Lidelle, and Klug all landed in different parts of Haven City and Amitie's whereabouts are unknown! This is obviously very bad for the kids, and they have to find a way to get back together again. Not to mention, Jak has changed so much as an individual. He SPEAKS, and he has turned into a monster of sorts. And then we have Baron Praxis, who doesn't seem to bend to anyone. Clearly, things are going to be complicated in Haven City, and our cast of characters will come to know that.
Unlike most prologues or first chapters of my other stories, I don't think I really need to make a summary for this particular prologue; everything kind of spoke for itself here. So instead, I want to ask you guys if you like this idea of a sequel to Puyo Puyo and the Precursor Legacy. I mean, it was bound to happen eventually, but I still want to see what you guys think of this. Do you all like the addition of Lemres, Schezo, and Feli? And if so, why? Also, what sort of predictions will all of you make for character development of the Puyo Puyo characters? I'm curious to know what your guys' answers will end up being. Anyway… What will happen to Amitie and her friends? Is Amitie herself safe? Where is she? Jak is about to go get help from a guy known as Torn… What will happen from there? These questions and more will be explored in: Puyo Puyo and the Renegade Warrior, starting with… Chapter 1: Adaptation.
