A crossover between Koruinu and that Time I was reincarnated as a slime. There is a lot of adult content so please be advised. This takes place approximately 200 years before the events in the light novel and OVA animes.

Warning bells and alarms blared all across the Imperial star ship. Judicator Veros's black mithril cloak fluttered behind him, his raspy breaths filtered through his armored mask while his blood sorjin slapped his thigh with every stride he took. Veros's dar'nra was in the cockpit yelling at him over the loud sirens and alarms while his dar'tari headed for the ships aft where they took a devastating hit from a Velkor Fighter.

"Come on kid get back there and put out those fires," Johesh cried while maneuvering his ship through the entangled fighters and capitol ships. A barrage of missiles few past his bow and took down a half dozen Velkor Fighters that were lining them up in their sights. Bits and pieces of the enemy ships bounced off the shields of his own.

"Frak, frak, frak, frak," Johesh put his ship in a downward spin before turning it into a split S, he was trying to head back toward his own fleet. "Mayday, mayday," he screamed over his comms that were already overrun with cries of help, locations enemy formations and orders of attack vectors on the enemy command ships. "This is Captain Johesh of the Nightrunner, I have fires on decks one through three and engine four is crispa, engine two is functional but fluctuating! My kid is attempting to put out the fires, but I need help… now!"

Dar, Veros telepathically cried in his dar'nra's head making Johesh wince. I'm working as fast as I can! Veros got to where the rupture in the hull was pressed a panel on the wall and pulled down on the lever, sealing up the rupture. After that was done he made his way to where the fire was burning on all three decks. He used the verse to reveal another panel and pull on that lever. Several mithril and Marcisian alloy doors came down to seal off the damaged area. The air was then sucked out starving the fire of oxygen and killing it.

The fire is out dar, Veros telepathically told his dar'nra while he checked his U-gem to make sure that the cargo hold was still sealed off and undamaged. He sighed in relief when he saw that the damaged parts of the ship wouldn't affect the cargo hold where weapons, bombs and ammunition were being housed. Several shield walls were carefully placed around the more volatile ordinance.

"If the cargo hold was ever breached," Veros angrily muttered. "Then not only would our ship be turned into space dust, but everything around us too… what the frak were our escort fighters doing ditching us like that?"

"Come on kid," Johesh cried when Veros ran back into the cockpit while several TADs targeted the enemy fighters that where still harassing them. "Take TAD ten oh two's spot and get those aft guns back up and chattering!"

Veros didn't hesitate he roughly pushed the badly damaged TAD out of his seat, strapped in and got the targeting reticules to line up with one of the three fighters. Three streaks of super heated plasma were sent at one of the fighters which burst into an explosion of white and green colors.

Johesh was having even more trouble when engine two finally gave up the ghost. With only three of the five engines left alive the delivery man turned Imperial Navy Pilot wasn't happy about having his ship so damaged. He flew through the wreckage of space-craft along with the bodies of the former crews of said ships. The entire space scape along the fringes of the Galaxy Fortuna had become a warzone and graveyard in less than a mcronn of fighting and the three planets that they were defending were in dire straits. Johesh felt the bile well up in his mouth when one of the crew from a friendly ship bounced off the shields in front of the cockpit.

"That's one less fighter on our tail dar," Veros cried while trying to lock onto the second fighter of the group.

"Yes but there are still two more out there," Johesh cried when several purple charged plasma blasts buffeted the ship's shields.

"Shields, now down to forty percent!" The ship's computer calmly told them.

"Frak," Veros cursed while still trying to get a lock on the second fighter. His dar'nra's erratic maneuvers were not helping him with matters and even the other three TADs were having a hard time locking onto the third fighter. The best that the three metal beings and one fleshy being could do was to keep the pair of enemy fighters at bay.

One of the TADs finally managed to shoot down anther fighter despite Johesh's erratic maneuvering. Sirens blared through the ship once more.

"Temporal rift materializing off the starboard quarter," the ship's computer calmly informed them once more. "Shields, are down to thirty two percent."

"Frak," Johesh tried to slingshot around the rift, but with only three engines functional his ship was being pulled in by the rift's gravitational field. "Brace yourself Ver," Johesh cried thru clenched his teeth. "We're going in!"

"Frak," Veros shouted while he shot down the last pursuing fighter before darkness enveloped him.

"Warning, warning, warning," The ship's computer cried out in alarm. "Entering atmosphere, pull up, pull up!"

"Frak me," Johesh shook his head in order to clear it and grabbed the sticks. "We're burning off our shields fast!" he glanced at the shield monitor which was swiftly counting down into the single digit range.

Johesh had to rely on his ship's nav-computer and instruments because all he could see through the viewer was flames that surrounded the front of his ship. "We're coming in too hot," he cried. "Ver can you use your verse powers to help slow us down?"

"I can try dar," Veros spoke thru gritted teeth even though he was wearing an armored mask. He starched out both of his hands and closed his eyes to concentrate using the verse in order to help slow the ship, sweat formed on his brow beneath his mask while he strained to slow the falling Imperial cruiser.

Johesh could feel the effect that his dar'tari's power had on his ship, they were indeed slowing, but it still wasn't slow enough. "Engines one, three and five full reverse," he cried while throwing the lever back and pressing the button on the consol that would raise the flaps to cause more drag. The bulky delivery cruiser broke through the atmosphere making the shield gauge stop counting down and halting at eleven percent.

The men working on building the stronghold of Ken looked up into the sky. Celestine Lucross walked out onto the balcony to see what was going on. A meteor streaked across the blue sky leaving several sonic booms in its wake when it flew overhead. The wind that the falling meteor kicked up buffeted against her forcing her to shield her face while her white revealing dress and her golden hair fluttered angrily behind her. The people down below also shielded themselves from the after effects of the passing meteor. Several of the newly constructed barracks and houses had their roofs rattled, slightly damaging them.

They all wondered what that was that had passed overhead. Celestine could hear the people mutter things about a bad omen, or even the end of the world. Celestine clutched her hand over her chest and frowned. Her big green eyes were filled with worry and doubt while she turned to look north.

"We're not slowing down fast enough," Johesh cried while gripping the steering levers tight. "We'll have to go around the planet a few more times while I slowly decrease our altitude, hopefully the planet's gravity will help!"

"Dar," Veros muttered. "Mi'thia always called you crazy and now I'm starting to believe her…"

"Yeah, well," Johesh smirked. "She's not here right now and you can tell her all about this… if… we survive the crash!"

"What," Veros ruby eyes went wide behind his mask. "Do you mean crash? Dar?"

Johesh didn't reply to his dar'tari's inquiries, he continued watching the speed and altitude gauges.

Celestine and the people of Ken realized that something was seriously wrong when the meteor flew overhead once more, this time it was lower in the sky. Celestine and those with good eyesight went really wide-eyed when they noticed that the meteor wasn't a meteor, but a cylindrical shaped metal thing that was clearly man-made.

"Heavenly visitors," Celestine heard several clergymen cry. The disturbance of the ship flying overhead for the second time caused a lot of people to take to the streets. Most realizing what it was that the object signified.

We are not alone, Celestine thought while gripping the rail of the fence that cornered off her balcony. Please let these people be safe from harm… She had a very worried frown on her face. Aliens, that can fly in big metal ships… a technology that we couldn't even hope to produce. She bit her lower lip. Celestine couldn't even describe what she was feeling after she realized what it was that flew overhead, or the significance of what that fact meant. Celestine's heart and mind were a jumbled mess, an overwhelming sense of dread and worry, combined with the thrill of the unknown and excitement of meeting real alien life-forms washed over her all at once.

The two men inside the rapidly descending ship didn't care about the mindset of the populace of the planet that they were trying to crash their dying ship into, nor did they care about the ongoing war that said planet was waging, right now they were trying hard to stay alive and not become smears on a mountain side or a super crater. Johesh was really worried because if the impact his ship made was bad enough it would end not only his and his dar'tari's lives, but all life on the planet, especially with the amount of therimite tipped warheads that were held inside of his cargo hold.

"Brace yourself kid," Johesh cried. "To any Imperial Ship, or Ship of the Alliance this is Johesh of the Nightrunner we're going in, hard!"

After circling the planet for the fourth time the Nightrunner had given up two more engines, but the ship had slowed down enough that they wouldn't end up as a mere smear on the mountainside, or a gigantic hole in the ground. Johesh hoped to Eendril that the eleven percent remaining on the shields was enough so that his ship would at least survive the landing.

Johesh watched the altimeter slowly, but steadily drop. The Imperial Cruiser knocked the tops off of the trees and ignited them on fire when the Nightrunner flew over them. The ship shook violently and a wall of dirt and debris obscured the viewer. Johesh and Veros were jerked around in their sets while everything in the ship that wasn't either bolted, or strapped down was violently thrown forward.

Veros's head pounded and he became rather disoriented when he abruptly sat up in his bed. He stumbled over to the mirror that was imbedded into the wall, though the Marcisian alloy and mithril plate that made up the Nightrunner was almost reflective and smooth enough to make the whole room seem like a mirror. Veros's ruby eyes narrowed while he ran his hand over his naked head. His rich black hair had gotten long, over the course of their several rinonn long journey, it had grown passed his shoulders. It took their fleet a long time to arrive at the battlefield of their neighboring Galaxy of Fortuna.

Veros's tan skin and straight black hair were traits that he'd inherited from his mi'thia while the ruby red eyes of his, he had received from his dar'nra's side. After pressing the button on the wall to reveal a sink Veros splashed his rather handsome face with cold water. He used his fist to pound the button making the sink retract back into the wall.

One of the TADs entered his room. "How are you feeling master Veros," the TAD designated F-two-zero-three asked with the usual monotone metallic like voice that all TADs spoke with.

"I'll live," Veros glanced at the TAD while walking over to his bed and grabbed his mithril weave black Imperial Knight cloak off the edge and wrapped him-self up in it before going over to the small nightstand. Veros grabbed his earpiece and roughly shoved it into his right ear. "If that is what you're asking Fitree?" Veros grumbled while throwing the hood of his cloak over his head. Veros then used the verse to pull his plasma blaster that was sitting in its shoulder holster and his blood sorjin that were both hanging off the wall next to the door to his outstretched hand.

The TAD blinked his pair of glowing blue eyes at his young master who was busy strapping both weapons to himself, while Fitree turned around. "You have been unconscious for two and a half rotations master," Fitree waited for Veros in the dimly lit hallway. "You're dar'nra has left with two more TADs, F-three-one-three and F-two-four-three to try and find a spaceport, or relay station to call for assistance."

Veros eyed the TAD who suddenly went silent, he pressed the button on his earpiece to make his mask cover his face. "What is it you're not telling me Fitree?" his own voice now mimicking the sound that the TAD's made.

"While you were out, our first master has launched our GODS system, the telemetry from the satellites in orbit has revealed to us that this planet is very… under developed…"

"Wonderful," Veros rolled his eyes behind his mask. "In short, what you're telling me is that we've survived, only to crash on some backwoods planet, what about the fleet? Has my dar'nra activated the emergency beacon?"

"He did master," Fitree blinked his now red glowing eyes. "However there has been no response from any vessel, friend or foe… since we've… crashed?"

"Of course you can say we've crashed Fitree," Veros smirked because the TAD seemed like he had stiffened a bit when he told and or asked Veros if what he had said angered his master. "It is what happened after all." Veros patted the TAD's shoulder making a metallic thump while smirking behind his mask. "I'm not going to disassemble you for speaking the truth."

"Thank you master," Fitree relaxed back to his normal TAD like posture.

"What about the ship," Veros continued walking, Fitree kept pace with the young man. "If we can't find a starport, or send for help, can we get Nightrunner space worthy again by ourselves?"

Fitree ran several thousand calculations thru his positronic brain before answering. "Master, unfortunately the crash disabled two more engines. Master Johesh has already assessed the damage, he has said, that two of them are what you fleshy beings call crispa… we can repair the other three engines, but we will need to find, or build replacement parts in order to bring them back online."

"So again, in short," Veros sighed. "We are what we fleshy beings call, slith out of luck."

"I do not have the current information to make an accurate assessment," Fitree blinked his eyes. "To make such a judgment call… but yes with our situation such as it currently stands, then yes ,we are, what you say, slith out of luck."

Veros halted to look at the tall lanky robot that also halted when his master did. Veros started laughing. "I never would have thought that I'd ever hear one of you TADs actually say that phrase even if you were simply mimicking your master."

Veros and Fitree passed another TAD that was busy with repairing a broken bulkhead that was damaged by the enemy fighter. Kind of a moot point don't you think, Veros thought while nodding to the doll that halted mid-weld till the two were far enough away that his sensors informed him that it was safe to resume his repairs.

He didn't have to halt his welding job, Veros thought. My armored mask shields my eyes from the bright torchlight. I think that the programmers made the dolls a bit too sensitive to their surroundings than what they need to be… Maybe I'll send a letter to the Conglomerate informing them of that, after we get back… Veros frowned, he was glad that his TAD couldn't see it, because he would surely ask why his master had such an expression on his face.

Veros followed Fitree down the large cargo ramp and outside, the scenery only made him feel even more miserable. The planet was much like his own or, the plant-life was at least. The half mile long and fifty yard wide trench in the ground that was left in the Nightrunner's wake made Veros go wide eyed. The glass that lined the trench broke and shattered under his boot covered feet when he hopped down off the back of the large loading ramp.

"You would think that every being on this planet would notice that we were here after making an entrance like that," Veros rubbed the top of his hood covered head. "If I've been out for the last three rotations it's rather surprising that none of the local beings have attempted to meet us…"

Veros shut up and Fitree's forearms opened to reveal his double barreled plasma blasters when they heard the sound of plasma fire emanating from the woods to their right.

"I spoke too soon," Veros muttered. "Come on Fitree, sounds like dar'nra and his TADs found some unfriendly beings!" Veros took off for where the sounds originated.

Johesh and his two accompanying TADs were blasting large ugly green skinned bipedal beings while a pair of tan skinned women took cover in the tree line behind them. Veros and Fitree startled the two rather scantily clad women who started shouting at them is some strange language. Veros nodded to them. Yeah, yeah, I know, I know, he telepathically informed them making them go really wide eyed. Dar, Veros looked to where Johesh was kneeling taking cover behind a misshapen boulder while using his side arm to shoot back at the arrow firing small green humanoids that were using the tree-line on the other side of the meadow for cover. Fitree and I are here to back you up!

Johesh took a quick glance at his dar'tari who was charging at a group of the bigger green humanoids while his TAD, Fitree was blasting away with both of his arm cannons.

The other two TADs were blasting apart the larger hoard of green skinned humanoids that was trying to flank them. For the amount of fallen foes that the two TADs had put down it seemed that two or even three more of the big green uglies replaced them. The primitive arrows that the smaller green skinned beings were firing at them bounced off the TADs well armored bodies and they even bounced and spun off of Veros's mithril weave cloak and clothing.

Veros ignited his blood sorjin, the big green skinned humanoids cried in alarm when he jumped high in the air before falling on top of the leading green skins. Veros plunged his blood sorjin up to the hilt into the monster's head. He deftly rolled away when one of the other uglies brought a crude looking axe down burying the blade into the dead being's chest where Veros just was. Veros narrowed his eyes at the creature and sent a torrent of lightning at him, the lightning ripped through the monster then chained into four more of the monsters behind that one. Five ugly green heads turned black and charred before exploding causing panic in the rest of the monsters.

Oh, Veros thought. Fear…that can be a powerful ally! He twirled his blood sorjin while using the verse to lift up several more of the ugly creatures into the air, they all dropped their weapons while they tried to scratch their necks in a vain attempt to break free of the verse choke that Veros was using on them, with a dark smirk hidden behind his mask Veros turned his outstretched hand into a fist. There was a sound of a loud nasty crunch and all of the monsters fell lifeless to the ground.

Now, Veros narrowed his eyes at the smaller creatures who were still firing arrows at him. I guess you're next! Veros turned his attention on to the smaller creatures that all threw down their bows and took up knives, or crude beat up and rusted short sorjins. Veros put himself into a spin and danced his way through their ranks his angry glowing red blade severing heads and bisecting the creatures. Veros's plasma blade cut thru them like a hot knife thru butter.

Johesh watched his boy perform his dance of death from behind the safety of his rock, now that there weren't any more arrows coming at him he got a bit bolder and leveled his plasma blaster overtop of the rock and felled three more of the big uglies that where charging him.

How many of these things are there, Johesh thought worried. He came to the realization that even though they were killing them with ease, there were still too many left. Johesh noticed that even the three TADs were starting to get overwhelmed; they had gone from only using their plasma blasters to a combination of claws, blades and blasters. This is not good we're going to be overrun at this rate. We'll have to fall back to the Nightrunner and get the rest of the TADs online and use the ships guns to hold off these monsters. "Veros," Johesh yelled loud enough that Veros took a quick glance at him. "Fall back to the ship, it's our only chance!"

Veros gave his dar a quick nod while he waded through the bodies of all of the foes he felled, which were piling up fast.

Johesh got up out of cover and carefully lined up another couple of shots at two more of the leading monsters their heads exploded when the balls of superheated energy hit them. Their falling bodies slowed down the ones behind them. Time to go, Johesh spun on his heels and started firing behind him while on the run. The two tanned skinned women though lightly clothed did have bows of their own slung over their shoulders and even sorjins sheathed on their thick tan belts, but they both had empty quivers.

"Veros," Johesh yelled while lining up another shot and pulling the trigger of his BP-fourteen. "Throw me those monster's quivers!"

Veros rolled his eyes. Come on dar, it's not like I'm busy killing these monsters or anything, he thought, but he still managed to use the verse and fling three arrow filled quivers in his fleeing dar'nra's direction.

Johesh had to holster his side arm in order to catch the quivers, a few of the arrows spilled out of them while they were airborn, he did manage to grab the three quivers out of the air, then when the two tan skinned women looked at him he tossed the quivers to them. "Here, catch," he cried at the two stunned women.

The taller woman caught two of the quivers while the slightly shorter one caught the last one. They pulled the arrows out of the crude quivers and filled up their own, but they shared the contents of the third quiver between them.

Johesh pulled his side arm back out of his hip holster and was once again blasting the big green uglies in their heads, or in their chests. They died no matter where they were hit, the giant holes that the energy blasts made in them were devastating. The two tanned skinned women had also added their arrows to Johesh's plasma blasts, but they didn't fell every big ugly that they hit, it did slow them down though, which was a help.

The three TADs had fought themselves out of the encirclement that the monsters had placed them in. The weapons that the things used were so crude they didn't even put a dent in the mithril and Marcisian Alloy plate that covered the big lanky robots.

Veros was enjoying the thrill of battle, he was deprived of joining the front lines due to him being the only child in the family, but these creatures were indeed fierce, but they were not Elite Skath, or their Fallen forces. The creature's nasty looking green skin might have been tough by this planet's standards, but it still couldn't stop an Imperial Shadow Knight's plasma blade, nor plasma energy blasts.

Even though the battle was completely one sided the two Imperials, their three TADs and the pair of tanned skinned beauties were still being pushed back.

Veros realized that he was being left in dust by his dar'nra and the TADs, but he didn't care. One of the big green creatures had brought his giant sorjin down on the black clad being with the lightning magick and unstoppable red glowing blade. The creature looked in horror at what was left of his broken blade for a moment right after Veros's blood sorjin split it just by blocking it. The creature was still staring at what was left of the thing's blade when Veros's blood sorjin was run through the underside of the distracted creature's chin and out the top of its muck caked head. There was an even greater look of shocked horror on its ugly face when it fell dead.

Veros actually spun around and kicked the dead creature into the one that was still trying to charge him. He jumped into the air and his blood sorjin came down into the skull of the creature that was pinned under the body of the dead one he had kicked. When Veros removed his blade from his latest kill he looked up and saw the biggest ugliest green skinned monster yet.

"Well," Veros smirked behind his mask. "Helllllloooooo super ugly… I think I might have to rearrange that mug of yours with a blood sorjin face lift." He casually hopped down off the top of both bodies and casually twirled his blade in his right hand while channeling more verse lightning in his left.

"Why black mage," the big green ugly spoke in a guttural language. "Kill my brethren?" Veros didn't understand a word of what it said, nor did he care even when it continued. "Why black mage defend long ears? Yous was supposed to be on our side? Dark God Ragnos yous follow toos…"

Veros casually cocked his head to the side. "I have no idea what you just said," Veros dark smirk returned while he threw his blood sorjin at the creature that went wide eyed when the spinning blade passed through its neck.

The ugly creatures head slowly slid off its body while the twirling blade made its way back into the black cloaked man's hand. The rest of the smaller beings watched their leader's body fall over while his head rolled coming to a stop several feet away a look of absolute shock adorned its horrific looking face.

All of the creatures left looked at the cloaked man their eyes evil eyes were filled with terror and when Veros pointed his electrical charged hand at them. They all turned threw down their crude weapons and bolted. With a satisfied sigh Veros shut off his blood sorjin and placed the hilt back on his belt. He turned so fast that his cloak billowed out behind him the symbol of the Firaxian Galaxy embroidered on the back of his cloak had become more like a flag for an instant.

Johesh knew that Veros did something id'rthic when he heard the cries of horror coming from the creatures behind him. The two tanned skinned women were on his heels while they ran toward the crashed spaceship. Johesh slid to a halt when another big ugly green skinned monster stepped out of the tree line to his left, barring his way. The two women behind him screamed and started crying in their strange language.

"Frak me," Johesh cried and thought while trying to aim his side arm at the creature's head. The creature slammed his fist into Johesh's outstretched hands knocking his PB-fourteen out of them, the force of the blow fractured several of his fingers and broke several more. His side arm flew several feet and smacked against a tree trunk bouncing off from it and landing on the moss covered ground.

Johesh winced in pain, seriously frak me, he thought when the creature scooped him up in its right hand and began to squeeze the life out of him.

The two women that were behind them loosed what was left of their arrows at the big green ugly their arrows barely avoided Johesh while he was in the big brute's clutches, but the crude arrows only bounced off its tough hide. Johesh cried out in pain when he felt and heard his ribs crack and break under the pressure of the creature's vice like grip.

Veros sensed that his dar'nra was in serious trouble, he ignored the fight still ongoing between the TADs and the monsters that were dumb enough to press their attack. Veros used the rock that his dar'nra was using for cover like a springboard and flew in the air. He dodged and weaved through the trees, he came to a halt in midair when he saw his dar'nra in the hands of another big ugly green monster.

Frak, Veros thought. There were two commanders… it's no wonder the TADs are still fighting there were two different groups not one big one! And dar needs me…now!

Veros streaked into view he had retrieved his blood sorjin off his belt and the angry glowing blade severed the creature's leg just below its thigh when he zoomed by. The creature fell hard against the forest floor, but it also took Johesh with it. The mithril weaved uniform that Johesh was wearing could prevent most forms of damage, but not kinetic damage like being squeezed. Johesh was coughing blood and the creature was now completely enraged after having its leg lopped off.

"Yous I kill little man," the creature billowed while holding Johesh with one hand and retrieving a really long knife off its dirty leather belt.

Veros pulled an Immelmann turn in the air after gaining some altitude both his boot covered foot and his blood sorjin slammed into the creatures head. The big green monster threw the man in his hand away who smashed head first into a rock, splitting his head open.

Veros was now enraged at witnessing the spray of blood come out of his dar'nra's head. His whole body was engulfed in white and red flames while he pounded the creature's head with his sorjin and his fists. Veros was splattered with nasty back blood and ichor along with chunks of brain-matter. Ignoring everything else around him, Veros swiftly turned from the dead creature to Johesh, Veros scooped his dar'nra up in his arms and carried him while he flew back to the Nightrunner.

It wasn't long before the fire-covered young man flew up into the back of the star-ship and down the corridors, the medical bay doors opened for him when he approached. One of the medical dolls activated when Veros placed his dar'nra down on the only operating table in the room.

The second medical doll activated when the first one scanned the severely injured patient.

With a calm metallicy voice the first medical doll listed all of the injuries that Johesh had sustained. "Sever contusions in left cranial cavity, three broken vertebras, six broken ribs, seven fractured ribs, internal bleeding detected in both lungs, brain hemorrhaging in two places. Diagnosis," the doll looked at Veros who had gone from frowning to furious his hands turned into fists at his sides and he clenched his teeth so hard his gums began to ooze blood. "Terminal…"

"No," Veros cried in both anger and sadness the flames of his indren'freth flickered angrily. "I refuse to lose my dar'nra on some backwoods planet!"

"I am sorry master Veros," the medical doll backed away from the table and clasped its hands in a show of respect. "There is nothing that we can do…"

"No," Veros channeled both indren'freth and the zah'harrim energies into his hands. "There might not be anything that you can do…" he pressed his hands to Johesh's chest. "But there is something that I can do!" He yelled.

Johesh cried in agony and his body jerked when the mix of the two foreign energies violently entered him. He could feel himself mending. His broken ribs where repaired, the punctures in his lungs healed up, so that he was no longer coughing up blood like he was. He felt the bones in his back heal. Johesh also realized the cost that his dar'tari was paying in order to heal him, the power he was using was taking a tremendous toll on him.

Veros's eyes turned from a ruby red to a blood red, with a malicious amber tint added. The light of life and sparkle that was in those kind eyes of his vanished and was replaced by a deep darkness. Veros's eyes started to bleed while he mended his dar'nra's severe injuries. He was becoming more and more like a fallen and he knew it, he also knew that his dar'nra and the two medical dolls knew it too.

"That's enough," Johesh placed his hand on Veros's. "I don't want to live that badly…" Johesh weakly smiled at Veros. "Not at the cost of your soul, kiddo…"

"No," Veros shook his head and refused to give up. "I won't lose you dar, not here, not without seeing mia one final time and meeting your child that she's carrying!"

"It's alright," Johesh tried to push his dar'tari's hands off of him, but was too weak to do so. "I'm a space-faring man, I face death all of time… and both your mi'thia and I were prepared if it ever happened… Just tell her that I'll meet her in paradise, but tell her not to come and join me too soon… can you do that for me kid?"

Veros winced while his eyes were growing ever darker, he could even feel his blood being tainted by the amount of zah'harrim energy he was channeling.

"Master Veros," the medical doll scanned him while he spoke. "I must warn you that the amount of Zah'harrim you are producing has dire consequences on your being, if you do not stop healing master Johesh then you'll become a mindless killing machine and he would become your first victim. I do not believe that you would want to have your own dar'nra's blood on your hands young master."

"The medical doll is right," Johesh again tired to push his dar'tari's hands away. "I have been around a lot of Shadow Knights while I've been running goods across our galaxy and what you are trying to do has drastic consequences that you are either choosing to ignore, or are simply denying… I don't want to see my progeny turn into something even more loathsome than a Skath worshiper, or one of their mindless Fallen… so please… Veros for the iloni of Eendril…stop!" He weakly cried.

Veros with great reluctance and a heavy heart did as his dar'nra asked. "Fine dar… you win…" he powered down both his indren'freth and stopped channeling the zah'harrim, he was about to lower his hands to his sides, but Johesh latched onto them.

"Good boy," he patted his hands. "Now," Johesh pulled his wedding ring off the chain that hung around his neck. "Give this to your mi'thia when you see her…" Johesh placed the ring into Veros's right hand, Johesh tightened Veros's fist around the ring while he nodded his head. I'll do as you asked dar, I promise, Veros telepathically told his dying dar'nra.

With a satisfied smile Johesh closed his eyes. "I only wish that I could have held my baby… at least once….bef…" Johesh's head slowly titled to the left and his eyes closed.

"He is gone," the medical doll said after watching his internal heart monitor flat-line.

Veros's hands tightened while he used the verse to cross his dar'nra's hands. "M-Twodee," he muttered. "Make sure my dar'nra's body is placed in one of the cryo-pods I won't burry his body on this fraking Eendril forsaken planet, I want to make sure that he's buried in the soil back on Telos Three."

"It shall be done master," M-two-D replied.

Both medical dolls started to worry when they were suddenly lifted off the floor, several medical instruments that were built into the walls of the ship began to violently shake, even the walls themselves started moaning under the verse wielder's power that he was unleashing.

Veros felt something inside of him breaking, like glass shattering he knelt down beside the table that was now trying to break free from its bolts and welds. Veros's glossy black hair changed from their roots, into the color of blood. The indren'freth that Veros had just shut off erupted from his body once again, this time the flames were a mix of abyss black and blood red. Veros started to cry, tears of blood flowed from his eyes, he could barely manage to press the button on his earpiece to make his mask retreat.

The groans and moans from the ship grew louder, even the two medical dolls felt the strain on their armored bodies, like they were about to implode.

"I suggest you calm yourself Veros," A dark dressed man, with six red wings emerged from a pastel colored portal. "If you keep going, at this rate you'll end up destroying the planet." Vlad the Dark Archangel retracted his six red wings leaving red feathers in their wake, before they vanished in an instant.

Veros slowly titled his head to look at the man who had walked over to stand beside him. His eyes even though they were still flowing bloody tears got really wide while the flames surrounding him died along with his outburst of verse powers. Everything in the ship either dropped, or stopped moaning and complaining after Veros calmed down.

"Master Baltrix," Veros spoke with reverence giving him a slight bow. "How, what… where did you come from… I heard that Chiras killed you a long time ago?"

"She did," Baltrix nodded his head while offering Veros a hand to help him to his feet. "I was quite shocked myself when your dar'nra, or father's spirit… came crashing into Kolob while my God Chaos was meeting with your God Eendril… he was quite upset when he told us that you had become one of the broken ones…"

Veros shook his head. "Ah," he placed his dar'nra's ring that was getting imprinted into his palm he was gripping it so hard inside of his cargo pants pocket. "So that's what that was…"

"Hmmm," Baltrix narrowed his glowing blue eyes at Veros. "From the looks of things, I'd say that you've also become a Dark Master as well as a broken one…" he slapped his face and started laughing. "Now isn't that ironic?"

Veros went really wide eyed upon realizing what Baltrix had said, even though the Dark Archangel's laugh was unnerving to him he couldn't help but join him. That didn't take long, he thought mid-laughing. I wasn't sure if dar's soul would even make it to Eendril's side…

"He did," Baltrix chided, "In the most unusual way, I might add… the poor sap fell right into Chaos's lap… literally, needless to say that Chaos was quite shocked to have some unknown male land on him while his wives were both looking on in wonder as well…"

"Wonderful," Veros tears had stopped, so he rolled his eyes. "My dar has been dead for a few moments and he's already causing problems in heaven…"

"My big daddy Chaos actually hugged him right after he told us about your," Baltrix pointed at Veros who turned away. "Current predicament, young Imperator…"

"So what now," Veros asked the grinning Dark Archangel. "Master Impaler?"

It was Baltrix's turn to roll his eyes. "Nothing," he closed one of his glowing blue eyes while crossing his arms over his chest. "I'm afraid that you are stuck in this universe and with your ship in such shape, you're stuck on this planet as well, but," Baltrix held out his hand to prevent Veros from complaining. "You don't have to worry, because Chaos has decided to take over the rule of this abandoned universe and even our wonderful Judicator's Visage and Azala are stuck here right along with you," Baltrix sighed. "The two of them even managed to drag Visage's wife Fraya along with them… they're all stranded on a planet about thirteen thousand light onns from this one. "His Imperial Majesty Barron Marcsis the third has sent Visage's two idiot apprentices to him using an old Jetorian warp portal… and he's now looking for volunteers to join them."

"Kaz and Zak," Veros cried in alarm. "Those two id'rthics will frak everything up! I…" Veros folded his arms and frowned. "Don't like either of them, I wished to Eendril that I could have been Judicator Visage's apprentice, but the Council stuck him with those Zabrakian slith heads instead of me!" Veros got into Baltrix's face. "If you were still alive then you could have vouched for me Master Blatrix, but noooo… I got placed under Imperator Niells and his id'rthic family," He started pacing in front of Vlad who was watching with earnest interest. "I wouldn't say he was the worst master in the Shadow Knight's order, he was just too dammed friendly for my taste. He treated me more like one of his kids than an apprentice! Then there's his dar'tari Nillen and de'tari Linna those two were sooo overprotective, and why, why you ask, because they wanted to adopt Visage, but he refused and now that his mi'thia, his sri'nas along with his ari'thia have all joined the Shadow Knights they gave up… and decided to go after me instead. I mean seriously how thick can that family get? It was preposterous! Honestly, they kept contacting both of my parents for their permission to adopt me! Can you believe it," He stopped pacing to gesture at the body of his dar'nra on the operating table. "And now that my dar'nra's dead… you can bet your crath that, that id'rthic family will press me even harder…"

"Are you done," Vlad asked the heavily panting young broken man with a smirk.

"No Vlad the Impaler," Veros crossed his arms and frowned. "I could continue on for a lot longer, but I'll leave you alone… just…"

"Yes," Vlad was still smirking but raised an eyebrow. "What is it Veros?"

"Could you tell my dar'nra to at least stay out of trouble"— Veros glanced at the body and sighed. —"especially now that he's dead!"

"I shall," Vlad gave the young Imperial Shadow Knight a slight bow. "And you should try not to blow up any planets now that you're a Broken, a Shadow Knight, and a Dark Master… I will try to get V to come to this planet and assist you with keeping all of that newfound power of yours under control, who knows," Vlad started stepping through another pastel colored portal that materialized. "You might even need a Vorihelcom seal to help keep you in check…" the former Lord Baltrix started cackling before vanishing through the portal, which vanished along with him.

Veros went really wide eyed. A Vorihelcom Seal, he thought. Me… really? He exited the medical bay, following the two medical dolls, M-two-D held the body of his dar'nra in his arms. The doll placed the body in a cryo-chamber that way it would be preserved until they got back to their Firaxian Galaxy and return to Telos-three.

Veros pressed the button on his earpiece covering his face with his mask once more while walked back down the ramp of the rear hanger and back outside. There he noticed the three TADs were surrounding the two tanned skinned women who were huddled together. The TADs all turned to Veros when he walked up to them. The dolls were covered in more gore than he was, the four of them had black blood, ichor and entrails hanging off from them. The grotesque looks of the four fearsome beings mechanical or not made the two women shudder.

Veros knelt down and looked them in the eyes. "I hope that you both are ready to take responsibility for getting my dar'nra killed." He narrowed his combination of zah'harrim and Dark Master tainted eyes that were thankfully hidden behind his mask at the two women who both paled in the face of such a being.

The taller of the two women closed her big amber eyes and swallowed. "Please Master Black Mage, we are not worth killing," she frowned at what seemed to be a puzzled look the masked male was giving her. "Why would you save our lives, just to turn around and kill us anyway?"

The shorter woman nodded and then found the courage to speak. "Please let us live and we'll do anything that you ask!" She looked like she was about to start crying, but she bit her lower lip, blinked her big violet eyes in order to hold back the tears. "If you want we could be your slaves, it would be better than being treated like a plaything for those pigs!"

Veros turned to his TADs for a translation, because he had no idea what it was they were saying. Fitree was the one who told Veros what the two women had said. Veros's sinister eyes widened upon hearing his TAD's translation.

"Playthings," Veros turned to look at the women once more, the mettalicy sound of his voice unnerved them when he spoke. "What do you mean by playthings?"

The big black and silver golem also spoke in a metallicy voice to the two women. The two Dark Elf women, Efrina and Mirellia both went wide eyed when the golem asked them that its master wanted them to clarify what they meant by playthings.

Efrina and Mirellia relaxed a bit when they realized that their lives were not in any danger, but their fate was still in the hands of this crazed looking Black Mage who was eyeing them with such sinister red glowing eyes on his mask, it made them wonder if he was some kind of demon lord that had awakened from his slumber. They also didn't see the other man that had first came to their rescue and were starting to worry about him.

"The Legion,"— Efrina the older golden eyed woman's lengthy ears dipped and she frowned while tears welled up in her eyes. —"consists of, Orcs, Goblins, and demons. They attacked us while we were on a hunt for our village, their whole army came after us just as soon as they spotted us…" tears really started falling from her golden orbs.

"Those monsters like to rape and torture the women that they take captive," Mirellia picked up where her sri'na had left off, because she was so distraught. "There aren't any women amongst the monsters so they take women captive and use them for either breeding purposes, or sacrificing to their Dark God…"

The golem that was relaying the translation to the scary looking young Black Mage clenched his fists and gritted his teeth after the golem finished.

"Dark Gods," Veros muttered. "I hope that V and his wives get here soon, I know that I'm a broken and a Dark Master now, but I don't know if I could take on a Dark God by myself… But I can easily take out his minions…" A very sinister smirk adorned his face.

"Do you wish for me to translate what you said to these,"— Fitree looked down at the two Dark Elves. —"creatures, master?"

"I don't really care," Veros stood up and pressed the U-gem on his right glove. A holo image of a map of the entire planet appeared. The two Dark Elves stared in awe at the displayed image. He pointed at the location of the planet where he was standing, both he and the Nightrunner along with the three TADs were highlighted. The images displayed were marked green for fleshy beings and blue for artificial beings. The two Elves were glowing yellow. "Fitree,"— Veros looked heavenward. —"send data to the GODS system to mark the Orcs, Goblins and demons as enemies of the Empire."

Fitree nodded. "Done master."

"Good," Veros couldn't help but notice that the two women were also covered in the blood and remains of their new enemies. "Now next order of business, particle washing my clothes and taking a shower."

Veros pointed at the two Dark Elves. "I'm going to be taking them with me," he glanced at Fitree. "Fitree, translate what I'm about to say," Firtee nodded his head. "Your actions, having caused the death of an Imperial Captain, has led me to enact article Fifteen dash A, sub paragraph C. Of the Imperial Code of Conduct which states that: any sentient being can be pressed into service of an Imperial Officer if said sentient has caused damage, or significant harm to any being in the Imperial Forces, the extent of their service shall last until such time that the Imperial Officer deems fitting for said damage…" Veros waited while Fitree finished speaking to the Dark Elves. They both frowned and their ears drooped even lower than they did before when they found out that the man who had come to their rescue had died.

"Now translate this for me," Veros coughed into his fist. "Because you were the cause of my dar'nra's death I will be taking you both into custody and pressing you both into the service of The Marcisian Empire until your lives have expired… you can reject this offer, but if you do then both of your lives are to be considered forfeit… do you understand?"

Efrina and Mirellia frowned while they reluctantly nodded their heads after the golem told them what the Black Mage had said. For them it was an easy decision to make, serve the son, after causing the death of the father. Now that son was telling them that they were going to serve him for the rest of their lives they were sorrowful, but also grateful.

"It is better than dying," Efrina muttered.

"Or being a sex slave of pigs," Mirellia added with a sigh.

The Black Mage seemed to be satisfied with their answer because he spun around and headed back towards his metal fortress, the three tall golems followed closely behind the two Dark Elves who were being forced to comply and go along with them. The Dark Elves eyes widened when they followed the Dark Mage up the ship's ramp. The fortress was huge and there were many crates and containers inside of it, there were even more metal golems working on repairs where the fortress had sustained damage.

The Dark Mage started laughing for some reason, which made them both very nervous, he started speaking in that strange language of his. The golem that was walking behind them on their left side spoke to them.

"My master's name is Veros," Fitree told the elves. "He isn't a Black Mage, he is actually an Imperator in the Imperial Shadow Knights that live on the planet called Zharaj. The organization has been inducted into the Firaxian Galaxy's Marcisian Empire a little under seven onns ago which would be calculated to equate to approximately twenty, of your planetary rotations around your central star."

Mirellia and Efrina both went really wide eyed after learning that the man leading them was a knight from a galaxy wide Empire.

"Mister golem,"— Efrina held her shoulder with her hand while nervously eyeing the back of Veros's blood red hair that he had shown off when he pulled his blood splattered hood down. His hair color was made even more ominous under the dim overhead lighting. —"If you and your master Veros are from this Galactic Empire, then where are all of the others, shouldn't there have been more than two people beside you golems in this giant fortress?" she held her hands out wide when she asked this.

The golem spoke with Veros while they continued to walk down the dimly lit corridor, the two women became even more nervous when they passed multiple doors on their way to wherever it was that Veros was leading them.

"Master Veros and his father were the only living beings aboard this star-ship," Fitree told the two elves who gasped in shock when they found out that the metal fortress was actually a ship. "The Nightrunner has only one functional engine right now, so until we can find, or manufacture replacement parts my master's ship is grounded. Now that his father has died, he'll need help repairing his star-ship. We also have no idea how your planet functions, we need more data on the races, ecosystems, commerce, trade-routes and any more information on those Orc monsters that have made enemies with The Empire…"

Both women intensely stared at the back of Veros's head after the golem told them all of that. They wondered if they now had a chance of freeing their lands of Garan from the Legion, especially after watching what only one Shadow Knight, one Imperial Pilot and three TADs could do to not one, but two of the Legion's brigades and their commanders.

The weapons that these Imperials wield are so devastating, not even an Orc General's skin was able to withstand the strange magicks that these Imperials can fire at them. Both Dark Elves thought.

"We are not golems," Fitree told the gaping Dark Elves. "We are designated TADs which is the acronym for Tactical Assault Doll, my numerical designation is F-two-zero-three, my master calls me Fitree for short, the Tactical Assault Doll next to me is designated F-four-three-four, or Fteef for short, the Tactical Assault Doll behind us, his designation is F-two-zero-five, or Ftrof for short."

"A pleasure to meet you both," F-two-zero-five nodded his head in a polite greeting. Efrina and Mirellia went wide eyed, when they heard the TAD behind them, they both halted to turn and give the TAD a slight bow and a meager smile.

"And it's a pleasure to meet you too mister TAD Ftrof," both women said.

The TAD halted when Veros stopped in front of one of the many doors that lined the corridor. The door slid open and he walked inside the dark room. The TADs that were standing behind the two Dark Elves started walking forward also forcing both women to enter the dark room. Efrina and Mirellia's fear grew when the door slid closed behind them. The only light source was the red glowing orbs of the TADs. The metal on metal foot falls, as well as the sound of Veros's booted feet on the metal floor only heightened their fears, a cold sweat formed on their forehead's and backs while their throats felt like they were being tightened chocking off their oxygen supply.

"Computer lights," Veros spoke commandingly and suddenly they were all bathed under the florescent light in the shower room.

Efrina and Mirellia had to shield their eyes and squint when the blinding lights came on. They noticed that Veros was beginning to strip and pile his clothes on a central bench that divided the short hallway in two. There were two rows of lockers on either side of the isle. Veros sat down on the bench in order to remove his boots. He glanced at the two women and frowned. "What are you waiting for,"— he glanced over their heads at one of his TADs to translate for him. —"an invitation?"

"Our master wants you to strip," Ftrof told the two Elves who were now scared and confused. "You both need to remove the micro-organisms off your bodies, this facility is built for that purpose."

Efrina and Mirellia didn't understand what the TAD was telling them. I guess that Veros does have an appetite for Dark Elf women, they both thought while slowly and with what seemed like great reluctance also started removing their bloodstained clothes.

Their thoughts made Veros shake his head and sigh. They really don't get it, he thought behind a strong mental barrier.

Veros neatly folded his Imperial cloak, clothes and boots before pressing the button on his earpiece making his mask retreat, his revealed face made the two Dark Elf women gasp. He was both grotesque, yet handsome. His eyes made him look like a demon king, but his facial features were young and pleasing to their eyes.

Veros ignored them, he opened the locker door placing his earpiece, blood sorjin and PB-fourteen inside the locker, he then picked up his pile of clothes and handed them all to Fitree who absorbed them into the U-gem that he had built into the back of his metal hand.

Efrina and Mirellia watched in awe while Veros's clothes vanished in a green mist before disappearing into the same colored green gem embedded into the TAD's hand. Veros folded his arms and sat in mid air while he waited for the two Elves to, first stop staring at him and second finish stripping. It took them a while before they piled their clothes on the bench and placed their own weapons inside the lockers. They seemed both nervous and embarrassed when Veros lowered himself back to the floor, his bare feet making a light slapping sound when they hit. He shook his head again before turning around, so that they wouldn't see him roll his strange looking eyes.

"These women are completely misunderstanding everything," Veros muttered while heading inside the rinser room. "They really think that I'm going to rape them… sorry, but in the Empire it is women who generally rape men, apparently the men on this planet seem to act a lot like those fraking monsters…" He walked over to one of the showerheads that was on the right hand side of the room.

Efrina and Mirellia were trying to cover themselves with their hands, but then they heard one of the TADs behind them. They both went really wide eyed when they saw Fteef pick up their dirty clothes and disintegrate them. He then removed their bows and belts where their sorjins and empty quivers hung from them and disintegrated them too.

Veros has made me naked and defenseless! I guess he really plans on fucking me, both Efrina and Mirellia thought, before slowly turning back around to see what the Imperial had in store for them. They were confused and ashamed when Veros was simply standing under a shower and his body was being washed by several metal tentacles that came out of several hidden doors inside the wall.

The two Dark Elves ears drooped while they slumbered into the big shower room. They both decided to go to the left hand side of the room where six sprayer type things were lined up seven feet high above the floor. There weren't any partitions, or dividers that would give a being privacy. The three TADs also entered the room and they too went over to the five free showers that were on the same side as their master. The sprayers came on when they stood under them. The flow of warm water washed the Orc blood and chunks of flesh that were stuck to their metal frames.

Efrina yelped when the shower turned on and sprayed her with warm water. Then she noticed the four doors embedded in the wall open, where four metal tentacles came out. Two of the tentacles sprayed her with a flowery smelling slimy substance, the other two tentacles had spongy type things appear in them and started washing her hair and scrubbing her body.

Mirellia placed her hand on the wall when the warm water hit her, she didn't yelp like her sri'na did, she moaned in pleasure instead making her face turn red while she slapped her free hand over her mouth. I hope that Veros didn't hear me… she thought while closing her eyes and squatting down, the sprayers and scrubbers followed her body's movements.

Veros was getting dressed while Mirellia and Efrina where finishing up their showers. Their hair, which hung down below their waists, was a glossy black. Their hair was still damp and clung to the backs of the two beautiful Dark Elves when they walked over to the lockers. Veros eyed the two of them while they tried to hide their naked bodies with their hands and arms.

"You don't have to do that around me," Veros tilted his head and shrugged. "I'm not going to do anything to you…" He glanced at Fitree who was the only TAD left in the room, he had dismissed the other two to help with the repairs on the ship he'd just inherited from his dar'nra. Fitree was about to translate what Veros had said, but Veros raised his hand to stop him from doing so.

Veros had enough, he couldn't understand the Dark Elf girls' language and they didn't understand Marcisian so, he walked over to them and abruptly grabbed Efrina who was the oldest of the two and pressed his lips to hers, she went really wide eyed, so too did her younger sri'na Mirellia who also went wide eyed.

Efrina found herself midst a dark space, there was no sense of direction, nor distance, she didn't even know what she was standing on because there was only an endless emptiness under her.

"Do not panic," Veros told her when he came into view she ran over to him and wrapped herself around him. "This is the void, a place where information is shared and secrets are kept hidden." He hugged her even while he frowned. "Whatever you do, don't go looking too deeply into the abyss, or it will look back into you and you will lose yourself."

Veros didn't want to keep Efrina inside of the void for any longer than he had to, so after finding out her language and learning it himself he released her. Efrina gasped before she looked around, her golden orbs tried to focus on everything and nothing at the same time. Her breaths were quick and raspy. She clutched onto Veros as if her very life depended on it.

"What happened," Mirellia cried while removing her disturbed looking older sri'na from Veros's arms. "What did you do to my sister?" She yelled at him, but the way he looked back at her made her regret her decision.

"I did what I needed to do," Veros replied in her own language making her violet eyes open wider than they already were. "I brought her into the void to sort through her memories in order to learn your language, even though she is older than I am her mind was not… prepared for such a burden." He frowned while Efrina held onto her younger sibling while eyeing Veros with a mixture of fear, hate and longing. He took a single step toward her making the fearful Dark Elf hug her younger sri'na even tighter. "You need to calm your mind, I only brought you into the void to learn what I needed, now," he calmly commanded while pointing at the distraught woman. "Close your eyes and take a deep breath…"

Efrina seemed really scared at first, but she did as Veros told her to do. Her breaths did tickle Mirellia's ear, but Mirellia was more worried about her sri'na's mental state than the feeling of her ear.

Mirellia sat down on the bench while Efrina wrapped her arms around her and leaned her head against her shoulder. Mirellia rested her chin on top of Efrina's head while Veros's disturbing eyes studied the two of them.

"So," Mirellia hesitantly asked. "This void, that you verse users use to communicate with is dangerous?"

Veros shook his head. "No, not for those who have strong minds," he narrowed his eyes at Efrina who eeped at his glance. He sighed. "And you claim to be over sixty of your planetary rotations old… unbelievable… I would think that a being such as yourself would have the mental fortitude to withstand a measly few moments in the void, yet you claim that you'd be able to withstand being the sex slave of monsters?"

"I never said that," Efrina softly exclaimed. "I said that being your slave would be better than being a toy to those monsters!"

"I hate to tell you this," Veros eyed Efrina and then Mirellia. "But you both are gorgeous in the physical sense,"— they both gasped at this, but he ignored them. —"however your minds would break before long, if you were ever captured by those vermin… so," he clapped his hands, startling the sri'nas. "I'll be taking you both on as my apprentices!" He didn't wait for them to gasp and go wide eyed before placing his hands on their heads and patting them. "Now my apprentices, let's go and find you something more appropriate for you to wear."

Veros lead the still rather reluctant Dark Elves back to the cargo hold, there he found crates of Marcisian Alloy chest plates and Marcisian mithril weaved clothes. He used the verse to drag the two women along behind him. They were confused, because even though they were both naked and as Veros had said they were gorgeous in the physical sense he still didn't touch them, except for the void kiss with Efrina, who was both thankful that he said that about her, but she was also vexed and irritated that he didn't even seem to want, let alone think about having a relationship with her. Both Dark Elves thought that the man that had become their master was an enigma.

Veros didn't care about the turmoil that his new apprentice's minds were in, he was much too busy rummaging through another crate and pulled out a pair of body suits. They were startled out of their turbulent minds when he threw the two glossy black suits to them.

"Put those on first," Veros told them. "I'll find a few more in your sizes and store them in my U-gem for you…" the upper half of his body disappeared inside the crate while he rummaged around for two more of the appropriate sized suits.

Efrina held the suit up in front of her, it looked like a scuba suit that the Earthlings wore when they were on a dive, but this one was much thinner, more flexible and the zipper was in the front, the zipper also only went down to the bottom of the chest.

While Efrina was still absorbed in the looks of the suit, Mirellia had managed to put hers on. She was shocked when a strip suddenly appeared and covered the zipper, she also couldn't feel the zipper at all against her skin. She was even more surprised when the suit tightened up and laid over her body like a second skin. She touched the suit and it felt like a mixture of soft fabric and hard metal.

"The body suit is what Marcisian women wear into battle," Veros told them while he tried to find the last suit in Mirellia's size. "The suit is made from a mithril weave and Vornox spider thread which it gives it both rigidity when needed and it's also stretchy making it flexible, so it will move like a second skin." Veros smiled. "My mi'thia always wore hers even when she wasn't on the battlefield… In fact many Marcisian women wear them, practically everywhere, most Imperials prefer wearing their suits over their customary clothing." He rolled his eyes and chuckled. "Even though she's pregnant she still insisted on wearing her suit, she says that it's fine and helps reinforce her protruding stomach and alleviate the stress of supporting her baby…"

"Wait," Efrina dropped her suit. "You mean your mother is a knight in your Imperial Army, and she's pregnant?"

"And if we hadn't led those legion monsters right into your father," Mirellia frowned and her ears drooped. "Your mother is going to kill us when she finds out about your father… won't she Veros?"

"No," Veros finally found the last suit, so he got out of the crate and walked over to his two new apprentices. "She understands the dangers an Imperial Delivery Man can face, even on the safest trade routes there is always a sense of peril. And death can be found around every corner if you're looking for it." He slumped and sighed. "If our ship hadn't been damaged by those fraking Fallen fighters and sucked into that temporal rift, both my dar'nra and I might have both been killed and at least my dar'nra, by giving his life managed to save you both." He placed a hand on their shoulders. "And I could have also been turned into space dust by now if we hadn't have crashed here." He frowned and shook his head. "And I don't even want to think about what would have happened to you two if you hadn't run into my dar'nra and his TADs like you did."

"We," Efrina pulled Veros's hand off her shoulder and kissed it. "Would be in the hands of those disgusting pigs, instead of here," she looked around the massive cargo hold. "With you… inside of this amazing ship."

Veros bopped Efrina's nose with his finger after she let go of his hand. She giggled while she stooped down to pick up her fallen suit and handed it back to her.

Veros vanished into the cargo hold that was more like a massive warehouse. He came back after Efrina finished pulling on her mithril weave suit, he handed them each a pair of black toe less boots that were just like the ones that he was wearing.

He vanished on the two Dark Elves again while they were putting on their new footwear. He came back with two black belts draped over his left arm and was carrying two side arms in their holsters.

"These are PB-twenty threes,"— Veros told them. —"the new main side arm of the Marcisian Empire's Naval and Ground forces. "The belt is fully adjustable and the holster can clip onto the belt in pretty much any position that you're most comfortable with."

Efrina and Mirellia both went really wide eyed when Veros placed the holstered weapons in their hands. They were heavier than what they thought they would be, but they couldn't help but draw them to look them over. There was writing on the side of the slide that they couldn't understand so they flipped it over to see if there was anything written on the other side of the slide, they were a bit disappointed when they saw that there wasn't. The grip on the side arm felt really good in the hand, it almost seemed that it was made perfect for them. The texture on the grips were rough like sandpaper and when they both looked down the top of the slide a set of three neon green dots appeared in their vision.

The Dark Elves were so shocked that they lowered their side arms, but the same three green dots appeared again when they looked down the top of the slide.

"I believe," Efrina said while waving the side arm around the room while keeping the three dots aligned. "That these three dots are sights and whatever they target is where that magical projectile goes?"

They both lowered their side arms and smiled wide before breaking out into laughter. "This will be so much easier to use than our bows were!"

Veros returned to hear the melodious laughter of the two Dark Elf women, which made him crack a smile of his own. "Here you go ladies," he handed them a bundle of stuff, which they took from him after they clipped their holsters on their belts and placed their plasma blasters in them. "We have here some," Veros slapped the first item. "Four extra magazines for your side arms," he slapped the next thing. "A belt clip for said magazines," he slapped the next item. "A pair of mithril weave and mithril reinforced gloves." He pointed at the next thing. "An armored mask for each of you," he smiled wide and slapped the final thing that was also the largest. "And one brand new out of the box Series Six Plasma Rifle with auto adjusting scopes, so all you need to do is put the target reticule over whatever it is you want gone and pull the trigger."

Efrina and Mirellia eagerly took the rifles from Veros who was pleased that his two new apprentices were now armed and armored in such a way that those pigs would have a really hard time even being able to touch them.

"Master," Fitree called over his earpiece comm. System.

"Go ahead," Veros replied back. "What's wrong Fitree?"

"The GODS have picked up a large contingent of Legion forced heading toward,"— The TAD stopped speaking to double check the information from the satellite uplink. —"what I believe to be your new apprentice's village."

Veros went really wide eyed and tightened his right fist, "How long before they reach the village Fitree?"

"Calculating," Fitree fell silent for less than a second. "They will arrive at the village in less than one mcronn, master."

That's not good, Veros thought while pressing the button on his earpiece to cover his face with his mask. "Alright my apprentices, listen up!"

Efrina and Mirellia both stopped looking over their new equipment and stiffened when Veros addressed them.

"I have satellite confirmation that a large Legion force is headed for your home town," Veros told them, making Efrina and Mirellia's eyes widen and they almost dropped their new plasma rifles on the floor. They started to bombard him with questions, but he raised his hand in order to silence them.

"The force of the enemy numbers over three thousand," Veros made their jaws drop when he told them that. "They will arrive in less than a mcronn."

"Wait," Efrina cried in panic. "How long is that in our form of time?"

Veros tilted his head while Fitree gave him the time frame in the Dark Elf's standard. "A little under three of your hours," he shrugged because he wasn't sure.

Efrina and Mirellia both fell to their knees and were about to start crying. What they were thinking startled Veros, but didn't really faze him.

"Ladies," Veros slowly spoke with confidence. "Did you already forget who your new master is?"

The hope and light that was fading from their eyes suddenly returned ten-fold. "No master," Efrina and Mirellia both shouted.

Veros smiled a very evil smile behind his mask. "Come my apprentices," he turned so swiftly that his cloak billowed like a flag behind him. "Let us go forth, to the slaughter!" The sound of their new master's laughter was frightening and thrilling in their ears.

Several goblin scouts spied a pair of Dark Elves working in their field. The farmhouse that they were about to raid was still a few hours journey from the main village. If they moved fast enough to take over the farm and kill the men while taking the woman as their plaything. They could use the farmstead as a staging ground and also wait for their main force to arrive.

One single goblin ran back to his troll commander while the other four remained to watch the Dark Elves labor in their field, they were joined by a woman who gave the two of them something to eat and drink. Even from far away they knew the she was a beauty, making one of the goblins start to pant and get a rather obvious erection under his dirty loincloth.

The goblin who was in heat ran out of the treeline and started for the three Dark Elves with his rusted dagger drawn. Two of the other goblins ran to stop him, but they all looked around confused, as too did the Dark Elves that were over a hundred yards away.

Efrina and Mirellia watched the trees move swiftly passed under them while they leaned over the left side door of the hover-copter that looked like a cross between one of Earth's Blackhawks and an Osprey. The two circular housings that caged off two large props that spun clockwise and counterclockwise along with the four jet thrusters in the tail that were split between a fairly large cargo door sped the airborne vehicle on at incredible speed. A full company of TADs consisting of fifty of the battle ready robots scanned the ground for any surface to air threats. The TADs who were sitting on the edge of doorway carried a strange looking weapon that looked like a mini rocket launcher in each of their laps.

"ETA," one of the TADs in the lead hover-copter spoke over their comms. "Twenty dironns before touchdown."

Efrina and Mirellia turned around and saw that two more hover-copters line up along side of the one that they were in. The Dark Elves tightened the grips on their plasma rifles while they looked at the full formation of hover-copters when theirs suddenly gained more altitude.

There were five hover-copters in the formation, including the one that they were riding in, the Dark Elves were really glad that Veros and his force of two-hundred and sixty TADs that he took with him were on their side. Their master told them that Imperial's always ruled the air and on this planet no nation had any form of airpower, only the dragons could have been a threat to the Imperial and his TADs, but the dragons had been hunted to extinction by both men and monster a very long time ago.

The pair of TAD pilots saw a rather large city in the distance, but the village that was about to be attacked was leagues away and it would take an entire deronn for the beings in the city in the distance to arrive at the village with any sort of reinforcements, whereas Veros and his Army of TADs could fly there in less than a hour of their time.

Veros wasn't even inside one of the hover-copters he was leading them himself by flying in front of the five winged formation. There were two hover-copters on his right and left, the fifth was the one that his two new apprentices where flying in. That hover-copter was flying a half mile above the four copter formation and would relay their enemy's troop movements, even though they didn't have to worry about tanks and armor they still took their spotter place making the Dark Elves super giddy while wide smiles crept onto their mask hidden faces.

The heads-up display that the two Dark Elf's masks displayed was frightening to them, at first, especially when the tendril emerged from the earpiece and punctured the inside of their ear making them cry out in pain. Then they heard the voice in their head.

"Blood sample analyzed, race, Dark Elf, blood status, not awakened, blood type O negative, language translations now available, congratulations and welcome to the Marcisian Empire's Forces." The woman's metallic voice that they heard made them go very wide eyed.

Mirellia was about to rip the earpiece out of her ear when it had jabbed her like it did, but then she and her sri'na realized that the mask was conforming to them personally. They really liked the statues that it displayed for them. It showed them information on the statuses of their new battle suits, their new weapons along with their round counts and even statuses of whichever TAD that they were currently looking at and their designation numbers too.

The two Dark Elves were currently leaning over the shoulders of TADS Z-five-five and S-six-two-six, the dolls in the back were standing like statues and were in sleep mode while they waited to land before returning to full operation.

"Mistresses," TAD S-six-two-six turned his head to look at the two elf women. "Please do not lean too far forward, if you drop from this height without the ability to tap into your indren'freth then you will end up dead, even with your mithril body suits."

Mirellia and Efrina did take a step back and nodded to the TAD whose own legs were dangling out of the aircraft.

"I am equipped with a personal anti-gravity generator and jet thrusters on my feet and back so if I fall I will be fine," TAD S six-two-six told them, even though they didn't even utter a word about it.

I wonder if TAD's are mind readers too, Efrina and Mirellia both thought while gaping at the TAD.

The three Dark Elves in the field eyes all widened when they saw what was making the noise that they heard. Four big black metal noisy objects landed on a patch of grass that hadn't been prepped for planting yet. They watched several dozen big metal golems exit the strange metal machines. The golems all marched in perfect order and stood like statues while the back hatches of the hover-copters closed back up and they took to the air, then the next two hover-copters took their place, soon all two hundred TADS were on the ground and Veros the man producing rich black and red flames landed in front of them.

Veros told the pilots to take their copters to another field on the far side of the village and that Efrina and Mirellia along with their company of TADs would join them. He told his apprentices that they were to inform the village chief along with the residents to set up a defensive perimeter and then wait for further orders.

Veros waved two times at the Hover-copter that was high in the air before making a fist and swiftly lowering it.

"Roger that master Veros," the TAD pilot in the pilot's seat spoke though the comm. system. "Heading to point Alpha now…"

Veros watched the hover-copter lower its altitude allowing the other four to join up with it before the five of them headed for the designated area. After Veros watched them turn away he spun on his heels removed his blood sorjin off his belt and ignited it. He told two of the TADs to go and talk to the Dark Elf farmers and have them either barricade themselves inside the farmhouse, or if they considered the farmhouse to be indefensible to take the Dark Elves living there to the village that at least had a wall around it. The two TADs in the back row of the second company did an about face and headed for the three beings who were still watching them from their field, the males dropped their lunches when they spotted the big black armored dolls heading in their direction.

Veros dark red eyes narrowed behind his mask that displayed several small humanoid beings midst the tree-line. He pulled his own BP-fourteen lined up the three dots and pulled the trigger.

The goblin that had run out of cover suddenly knocked the other two that were trying to stop him from charging backwards, his head vanished in an explosion that sent parts and pieces splattering against the other two, whose orange eyes widened in fright while they were still in flight. They weren't very fearful for long because their heads also exploded in the same fashion as their horny companion's did before they even hit the ground. The other four goblins noticed the black mage point his arm at them. The goblin that was peeking out from behind the tree closest to the field his head also violently exploded and then all of the big black metal golems started marching towards them with both of their arms extended.

There was only one goblin left alive and he was running away from the dark fire engulfed Black Magician that had come out of the sky accompanied by a large group of golems that emerged from big metal machines. He needed to get back and warn the bigger Orcs and Trolls that would have a fighting chance against such enemies.

Veros's TADs stretched out into two staggered lines so that the TADs in the back line could cover the ones in the front. All one hundred and ninety eight TADs advanced into the forest, a few of them stepped on the bodies of the dead goblins while they went.

Efrina and Mirellia stepped down out of their hover-copter behind the two TADs that only had to stand up, the rear hatch opened and all fifty TADs that were statues as one their eyes glowed red and they started to march in formation.

Efrina thought that it would be a good idea to head into the village first, she would meet the two guards in order to let them know that the fearsome looking golems behind her were actually friendly.

Efrina was shocked when the guards whom she had know all of her life pointed their spears at her and told her to halt. She was very tempted to test out her new plasma rifle on them she was so upset, though she gripped it tighter she didn't raise it.

"The fuck is wrong with you two," Efrina cried in a metallicy sounding voice that made the two guards rather confused. "It's me you dimwits!"

One of the guards lowered his spear and narrowed his blue eyes at her, he even blew the strands of his orange, red hair out of his left eye that dangled in front of it. "Efrian," he said quizzically, "Is that really you?"

"Of course it's me Koza, you moron," Efrina rolled her golden eyes behind her mask. "Who else would I be?"

Koza was taken aback, he suddenly slammed the butt of his spear into the ground and stiffened, "I'm so sorry big sister, I didn't know that it was you…" Koza eyed her. "And what is that, that you're wearing anyway? You were in your normal hunting armor when you and big sis Mirellia left this morning… right?"

"You're right," Efrina went over and patted her young cousin's shoulder. "Mirellia and I did go out hunting this morning, but we were the ones who ended up being hunted."

Now Koza and his fellow guard went really wide eyed after she said that.

"Mirellia and I ran into a group of Legion Orcs. Then, when we were running for our lives we came across a pair of really strong people."

"Who"— Merius the second guard asked after finding his voice when the initial shock wore off. —"were they? How many Orcs were there? Where are they now?" He kept asking questions while his green eyes growing ever wider in panic.

"There were two," Efrina lowered her eyes in sorrow. "The father, Johesh was killed by an Orc Commander, his son, Veros…" She trailed off.

Mirellia came up to them with the full company of fifty TADs behind her. "Veros saved our lives so we owe him a life dept… he has taken us in as his apprentices in accordance with his Empire's code."

Koza and Merius couldn't believe what Mirellia had said and their jaws dropped along with their spears when they saw the army of tall black metal golems following behind her. The golems all halted while she walked up to stand behind her sri'na.

"A life debt," Merius couldn't believe that his childhood crush had a life debt with another man. "Mirellia," his green eyes turned watery while he nervously pulled on his dark blue hair that was pulled into a pony tail that he had draped over his right shoulder. "Is that really true? Do you really have a life dept with that Veros guy?"

Mirellia slowly nodded her head. "If it wasn't for him I'd either be dead or turned into a breeding machine for those disgusting pigs…" She glanced at her sri'na who also nodded her head. "We caused Johesh's death, so we have to pay his son back for that, he told us to either join him or die… we also don't like those pigs, so we've decided to join him."

"Our master is currently holding off the seven thousand Legion forces that are attacking a farm on the northeastern side of this village," TAD S six-two-six stepped up between Efrina and Mirellia. "We have been instructed to reinforce your village incase those monsters manage to get by our master and the other one hundred and ninety eight TADs that are with him."

Koza and Marius were shocked, not just because the big metal golem spoke, but that there were so many of them, and there was an army of Legion forces attacking the village. Koza stooped down and picked up the spear that he dropped. Marius wiped his face with his sleeve and he too picked up his fallen spear. They both turned and beckoned for Efrina, Mirellia and the fifty golems to follow him inside.

"If what you're saying is true," Marius yelled while running toward the village center then we need to warn the rest of the village and set up our defenses!"

The villagers and the village chief were very shocked to not only see Efrina and Mirellia dressed so strangely, but also having an army of fearsome looking metal golems accompanying them. The chief and the villagers kept asking the two of them questions concerning their attire, the golems, which they did explain were actually TADs, or Tactical Assault Dolls and they tried to explain to their chief, their family and the villagers about their new master, Veros.

Everyone in the village gathered around Efriana and Mirellia to hear about Veros, his deceased dar'nra Johesh and the TADs. The TADs had become celebrities among the villagers they didn't mind the questions they were asked nor did they mind the Dark Elves coming up to them in order to rub or touch their metal armor clad bodies.

It didn't take long before the Dark Elves had put on their armor, grabbed their weapons and were standing watch on the top of the ten foot high wall that surrounded the village. For every two Dark Elves there was one TAD, for which, the Dark Elves were very grateful.

The mere intimidating presence of the mean looking, tall, black, metal beings enhance the Dark Elves' moral, but they were also shockingly easy to get along with and talk to. The TADs would always answer any question that any Dark Elf would ask of them. A lot of the time the answers that the TADs would give was shocking to the Dark Elves, most of them couldn't believe that there was a Galaxy Wide Empire that was made up of an untold number of planets and peopled by different alien races.

While Veros and his TADs were making short work of their enemies Veros stumbled on a Dark Elf woman that was being held down by a pair of Orcs while they hungrily sneered down at her another Orc Commander told the two smaller Orcs to spread her legs. The Dark Elf woman struggled even more vigorously against the pair of stronger Orcs while tears rained from her ruby colored eyes. She tried to scream through the dirty cloth they had used to gag her with. Veros narrowed his sinister eyes behind his mask and threw his blood sorjin at the big Orc.

The Orc Commander's yellow eyes widened when his big black, nasty smelling cock was lopped off by a spinning dark red and ice-white blade. All of the Orcs were really shocked when the blade turned around and severed the Commander's head before returning to its owner's hand. Veros fully emerged from the tree line he leveled his PB-fourteen at the Orc that was holding the Dark Elf woman's legs the supercharged bolt of plasma blew the Orc's head apart making a short rain of blood, bits of green flesh and nasty black chunks of brain-matter. The second Orc let go of the now very wide-eyed Dark Elf woman when another bolt of plasma struck his ugly head and blew it apart. The poor Dark Elf woman was splattered with gore, but she was still too focused on the dark dressed man that had saved her from being raped.

Veros leveled his plasma blaster at two more Orcs and squeezed off two more plasma charges at them, the first one's head exploded like the first three's did, but the last one standing was hit in the chest. The plasma blast ripped through the Orc and exploded when it reached its dark heart before blowing a huge hole out of the back of the creature. The Orc died before it collapsed in a heap on the ground.

"Area cleared," Veros looked around once more before putting his sidearm back in his shoulder holster and shutting off his blood sorjin which he then placed back on his belt. "No further targets in sight, hostage…" he walked over and knelt down to scan the wide eyed woman. "In good shape, but will require new clothes…" he noticed the shredded green tunic and tan britches that probably belonged to her. He smirked when he noticed two empty scabbards along with a pair of broken sorjins. "You must have fought until your weapons broke," Veros turned and smiled at her behind his mask while he nodded in admiration of her valor. "From what I've learned about these Orc, creatures, is that they are big, dumb, ugly, but they have very tough skin a normal metal sorjin would have to be forged to at least class B in order to even have a chance of penetrating their hide…" He placed his hand on top of the woman's head and used his other one to pull the gag out of her mouth. "Now come with me and I will take you back to the village…" he offered her a hand which she looked at with trepidation.

"Why has a Black Mage saved me," she asked. "Why do you treat me with such kindness," her wide ruby eyes looked at the bodies of her attempted rapists and attackers. "Are you not in league with these monsters?"

Veros tilted his head before breaking out into laughter. "Absolutely not…" he cried. "I am Veros! I am an Imperial Shadow Knight! I may use the Zah'harrim form of the Verse…" he stopped laughing and glanced down at the metal cylinder on his hip, its blade had become a much darker red now. With a frown on his face Veros spoke so softly that the woman even with superb hearing could barely hear him speak. "I am also one of the Broken, and I've even turned into one of the few Dark Masters in the cosmos, but I still believe in my God Eendril…" he held his hand in front of him and made a tight fist. "These fraking beasts killed my dar'nra… forcing me to turn into this abomination when I tried to save his life. I will never forgive them for what they did to us…" The woman's eyes were filled with terror when his eyes glowed red and she could feel such a killing intent that sent both chills and a thrill of excitement down her spine.

"I'm not sure what Empire you're talking about," she said while sitting up. "But my name is Alara, and I thank you Veros for saving my life…"

Veros relaxed his hand and offered it to the woman once again. This time she accepted it. Veros had Alara back on her feet, but then she collapsed so fast that Veros almost didn't catch her.

"Wait," Veros scanned her again. He could now see several black and blue welts on her back and even on her left crath cheek that went partly down the back of her thigh. He didn't hesitate, with a quick use of verse power he lifted her up and draped her over his back. she went wide eyed for and instant before draping her arms over his shoulder and clasping her hands in front of his chest, she also wrapped her legs around his waist. Veros gently placed his hands under her to make sure that she wouldn't fall off.

Wow, she thought. This Imperial… has absolutely zero sexual appetite, here I am a naked weakened, good looking, Dark Elf woman and we're all alone out here… well except for the ugly assed Orcs and monsters that want to kill and rape me… we're alone out here

Veros sudden burst of laughter derailed her train of thought. Alara wondered why he was laughing.

"I can use the power of the Verse," Veros told Alara after he calmed down. "The Verse is the short form of Universe, there are two powers that make up the Universe there is the light, and then there is the dark, or as we in the Shadow Knights call it the Zah'harrim, or Dark Energy and the Jah'harrim, or Light Energy, there are being's on Earth that call it Yin and Yang and many people on many planets also have different names for it…"

"What," Alara cried in excitement and worry. "Are you telling me that you're from a different planet?"

"Yes," Veros said over his shoulder. "I am from Telos Three, a planet that has a long history with the Marcisian Empire that incorporates many planets that span across our Firaxian Galaxy."

Alara's ruby eyes really opened at that. No fucking way, she thought. A man from the stars is carrying me on his back and he's some kind of black knight in that Empire… "Veros," Alara smiled while she pushed her navree further into Veros's back. "Do you have a woman back on your planet?"

Veros frowned while he shook his head. "No, the women on my planet don't really care for Shadow Knights, my mi'thia has been very worried because not even my childhood friend wants to be with me…" his frown turned into a scowl. "Shadow Knights are soooo lameeee," Veros tried to imitate her voice, though it sounded weird due to the metallicy change that his armored mask causes. "I would never want to be with a freak like yooouuuuu Verooooossss…" He sighed and shook his head.

Alara pressed her cheek against the back of his hood covered head. That means that I have a chance… doesn't it?

Veros was too focused on the communications he was receiving from his TADs to listen to Alara's thoughts.

"Master Veros," one of his TADs spoke. "We have routed most of the Legion forces, however satellite images are showing a rather large contingent is now headed for the village."

"New orders to all TADs in the field," Veros calmly replied over all of his TAD's comms. "Break off all engagements and double time it back to my apprentice's village."

"Roger," all one hundred and ninety eight TADs spoke at once. Their abrupt yet short answer made Veros smile and lightly chuckle.

The sun was on its way down when a pair of TADs escorting two Dark Elf males and one Dark Elf woman came into view.

Koza ran out of the gate in order to meet them.

"Gran," Koza ran up to the short haired blond male with the squinty blue right eye, he also had a very nasty scar that ran down his left eye making it permanently shut. "You, your brother and your wife are all alright?"

"We'd been better," Gran glanced behind him at the two TADs that were escorting them. "Those damned Golems told us to leave our homestead and come here."

Duran the ber'nan of Gran ran up to Koza. "Is what those golems said true," he practically yelled while grabbing Koza by his shoulders and shaking him a bit. "Are the Legion monsters going to attack our village?"

"Yes," Koza replied after Duran stopped shaking him. "Efrina and Mirellia ran into a group of them when they went out on a hunt this morning," Koza glanced at the TADs behind Duran. "And they found some very powerful allies as you can see, they even brought several of them back with them."

Koza heard Rinna gasp, the three males turned to her. "But Alara went out on a hunt this morning too, what if she runs into more Legion monsters?"

"Bah," Gran spat. "That woman causes nothing but problems, but she can take care of herself she was even offered a job in Discordia's Royal Guard, but she turned down the offer."

"Alara likes it out here in country," Rinna had a weak smile on her face for an instant before she turned around and eyed the forest in the distance with a frown. "I hope she's alright…"

One of the TADs startled them by suddenly stepping forward. "Master Veros has informed us that he has rescued a Dark Elf female that is designated Alara, he is currently on his way back here with her…"

"Are you sure mister golem," Rinna ran over to the TAD and looked up with worry into his undaunted and uncaring glowing red eyes. "Is Alara alright, has she been hurt?"

The TAD pressed its finger to the side of its head before replying. "I have been told that she was captured by an Orc Commander, but she only suffered a few bruises, otherwise she is fine…"

Rinna, Koza and Duran breathed a sigh of relief, while Gran spat again. "Stupid, woman, making us worry like that," they heard him mutter under his breath, making the three Dark Elves snicker or, in his wife's case giggle.

Koza lead the group into the village, the guards weren't only happy to see the trio from the farm but the other two TADs too. From what the TADs were telling and showing the Elves they each packed two plasma cannons in each arm that meant eight more cannons were added to their already overwhelming defenses. Now that Veros was en-route with his one hundred and ninety eight TADs their village was now the best defended in all of Garan.

The sun was starting to set when Veros carrying a soundly sleeping Dark Elf woman on his back walked thru the village gates. The Dark Elves cheered loud when the company of TADs came in right behind Veros. The two TADs that had forced the three Dark Elves from their homestead in the village outskirts joined back up with their original group.

Veros was rather drathed when the Village chief told him that Alara was a mix of a loaner and a bit of an outcast in their village. He sighed when he carried her to her small hut that was tucked away from the main village he carefully placed her on her bed before brushing a few strands of her thigh length black hair out of her eyes. She was like all of the Dark Elf women that he'd seen, the woman was indeed very beautiful in the physical sense, but he could tell that her heart was damaged, not just from the Orcs that attacked her and tried to rape her, but something deeper. Veros only shook his head when he left thru the door of her dilapidated hut that was made out of wood scraps.

Veros headed for the town square where practically every Dark Elf in the village waited for his return. Efrina, her sri'na Mirellia and Veros told them all about what happened that morning. Veros told them about his Empire, the planet where he was from and the planet that he now calls home.

There was a lot of excitement and cheers when Veros took out his holo-map of the Firaxian Galaxy. He showed them giant blown up views of his home-world Telos Three, his new home Zharaj and he also showed them images of his friends and family, he frowned when a life-size image of his dar'nra was displayed. Efrina and Mirellia both apologized again for getting Johesh killed. That was when Veros broke the news and told everyone in attendance that the two Dark Elf sri'nas had been pressed into the Marcisian Empire's service due to their actions. There was one moan of displeasure from one being in the crowd after he said that.

Vogos, the chief of the village of Foss, stomped the butt of his staff on the ground. The middle aged looking Dark Elf with the dark blue eyes and waist length white hair stood up from his seat that was actually the low wall of Foss's central fountain.

Vogos raised his arms in the air and cried with a loud voice. "The Elf Sisters Efrina and Mirellia of the Duises family were saved this day by Lord Veros a being of great power who fell from the heavens, it is written that the two sisters must repay him with their lives, so says the Gods…"

Veros raised his right hand while pressing his fingers to his mask with his left. "Are you telling me that Efrina and Mirellia actually owe me a life debt?"

"Yes Lord Veros," Vogos lowered his hands. "Does your Empire also have such practices?"

Veros also lowered his hands, but shook his head again. "Some systems observe a similar practice, though it is not enacted very often because the majority of Marcisians can pretty much take care of most problems by themselves. The most common reason for said life debts happen during space travel, a ship might suddenly suffer from engine trouble and others will usually stop to either help repair the ship, or…"

"Rescue the occupants," Vogos finished for him with a grin. "Right Lord Veros?"

"Something like that," Veros replied while slumping a bit when he noticed that Efrina and Mirellia's parents were looking at them with pride, or perhaps doubt, it was hard to tell and Veros had placed a very powerful mental barrier up so that he wouldn't be able to hear what the beings here were thinking.

Several Dark Elves actually jumped up off the ground and raised their hands. "Can we join your Empire Lord Veros," one younger looking Dark Elf male pleaded.

"Yes," anther younger looking male added with a gleam in his eyes. "Can we Lord Veros?"

"If I ever save your lives," Veros folded his arms across his chest while eyeing them. "Then yes, but I am not currently in a position to be accepting applications, or requests for citizenship." Veros sighed for what seemed like the hundredth time that deronn. "I may have a star-ship, but as I've told you, it is broken and I'm not even sure where in the Galaxy I am, now if I manage to fix my ship, or if the Empire sends a rescue ship then you would have to ask the Commander if he or she would accept your applications for citizenship."

The two Dark Elves ears drooped and they lowered their arms while they slunk back to their sitting positions. A few Elves broke out in laughter, while others yelled, "Nice try," or. "You'll have to wait for another ship to crash," Veros rolled his eyes at that one, but he also cracked a smile too.

Veros told Efrina and Mirellia that they could remain with their family, he wasn't going to take them away from them. For one thing his ship was grounded, for another he didn't really want to have them hanging around him all of the time, he was so sick of his master Neills constantly hounding him, so he really didn't want to be that kind of master.

Veros had placed his mask on the dresser. The room was small, but he didn't care he folded up his cloak and placed it on the seat of the chair that was sitting next to the dresser. The Iron Ingot inn was the only one in the village, he was told that it would actually be beyond capacity whenever the merchants would come and pick up food from the harvest and transport it to the capitol, or to the big fortress city of Loraine. The innkeeper was about to give him the best room, but Veros refused. He wanted something similar to the room he had on his ship, simple and small.

Veros was like most Marcisian Males, he was focused on learning, or gaining new knowledge more so than perusing women or, gaining other worldly possessions. The villagers were actually shocked to learn about Marcisian culture. The looks on all of their faces was priceless when he told them that women were actually the ones that perused men, because Marcisian Males were too busy with their studies, or working for either their Planet, or their Empire either way women were the ones who had to push their relationships on the dense male population.

"I have been told by several Earthlings that Marcisian males are considered"— Veros paced in front of the crowd of Night Elves. —"to be super dense herbivores."

"Are you not interested in sex Lord Veros," A male Night Elf yelled making several Night Elf women blush and a lot of males groan.

"Hmmm," Veros stopped pacing, clasped his hands behind his back and looked up into the orange and lavender colored sky. "Yes… and… no…"

His answer caused a commotion and a lot more questions were hurled at him. Veros raised his hand to silence them. "You have to understand that the male population is actually outnumbered by the female population in our galaxy, on the fringe planets the situation is even worse that in the core worlds…" Veros noticed that Efrina and Mirellia were pushing their index fingers together while looking away. "Thus polygamy is allowed on several planets, but the practice hasn't yet become Empire wide…" Veros frowned when he thought of Visage and his wives. "You need to understand that there is a foe that we are facing out there," he pointed up into the sky, making all eyes go skyward as well. "The worshipers of the Dark God Skath and their Fallen soldiers are a lot like the Legion that you face. They kill the men while taking the women as breeding tools…"

"No," some Dark Elves cried, "Impossible," others shouted.

"So the Dark Gods are real," Vogos angrily struck the butt of his staff on the ground again.

"If there are creatures like the Legion that are capable of using Star-ships we wouldn't have a chance!" Koza angrily yelled while pounding his fist into the ground.

"Veros," Efrina meekly spoke making all eyes turn to her. "I think that you're a god send, if it weren't for you then my sister and I would be… breeding tools for the Orcs and Trolls right now…not here, not home, not with my family…" She had to press the button on her mask to reveal her tear streaked face. "For that Veros," her golden eyes bore into him. "I love you…" She gave him a deep bow of gratitude. "Thank you, from the bottom of my heart… master…"

Mirellia's violet eyes widened at her sri'na's sudden confession. She clenched her fists and she too gave Veros a deep bow, she had to remove her mask when her tears started flowing.

Veros didn't like them doing this, especially not in front of their entire village. A TAD suddenly spoke to him over the comms. He blinked in surprise when he was informed that the Legion forces were making camp for the night. With no attack forthcoming Veros told all TADs to go into rest mode in order to recharge their internal capacitors.

"I have been told that the Orcs have made camp for the trell," Veros told all of the Dark Elves, Mirellia and Efrina both straightened after Veros said that and there was a collective sigh of relief while some Dark Elves even hugged each other.

"Satellite images,"— Veros interrupted their minor calibration when he opened up an exploded map of their planet making the Elves murmur and oho and ah. He focused on Foss village which was located in the north western part in the big central continent where a very large mountain range was located further west, making Veros think that the monsters actually originated from that mountain range. —"show that the Legion camp is about a half mile from here. I am assuming that they will attack enforce sometime in the late menronn or early trell fall." The words he used confused the Dark Elves, so Efrina translated for him. They all understood and nodded their heads when Efrina said. "The pig faces will attack either late morning or early evening…"

"Thank you Efrina," Veros smirked at her making her blush and slowly sit back down next to her sri'na and mi'thia, her dar'nra who was sitting behind her patted her on the back and thanked her for the translation.

"Now then," Veros clapped his hands. "We're all going to be very busy tendronn, so please everybeing go home and get some sleep…" he held out his hands when he heard a few Dark Elves complaining. "I know that it's still a bit early to retire, but trust me with the Legion forces breathing down our necks you'll thank me later. I have all of my TADs on standby so you can rest assured that they'll keep watch while you sleep and," he pointed up into the sky. "I also have my eyes in the sky that will let me know the moment those fraking freaks start moving."

Vogos was about to dismiss the crowd when Efrina's dar'nra and mi'thia suddenly shouted. "I've been dying to know what you look like behind that mask of yours Lord Veros!"

Veros was put in a spot when even with his mental barrier in place could still feel the stares of the crowd and the 'I want to see's' yelling over and over again in the minds of the Elves.

Veros shook his head, they're not going to like what they see, of that I'm sure… he thought while with trepidation he pressed the button on his mask, that was when he heard both Efrina and Mirellia yell at him, "DON'T!"

It was too late Veros's mask retreated and his very sinister, and downright evil looking eyes glared at the crowd. There were many gasps heard and some were now terrified of him. He gave them all a wicked smile. "Hey," he closed one dark red, amber lined eye while snickering. "You're the ones that wanted to see my face now you're about to slith yourselves…"

Efrina and Mirellia's dar'nra rubbed the underside of his chin while he narrowed his own a tad bit sinister looking golden orbs at Veros. "He's actually not that bad looking, I mean he's better than Koza or Marius, his eyes look like those of a demon king and that dark red hair of his is quite something. He's handsome I think, but a very dangerous kind of handsome…" he glanced at his dar'taris, "what do you girls think?"

"He's…" Mirellia pressed the button on her earpiece to hide her red face. "Fine dad…"

"I mean," Efrina fidgeted with her fingers. "Veros was nice enough to rescue us, so…."

Their dar'nra broke out into laughter while his wife pulled hard on his right ear. Their family was on their way back to their home, so they walked and talked.

"Please don't tease our kids darling," Marcella closed her own soft violet eyes and smiled at the young women. "I think that he'll make a fine husband."

Steam issued from the tops of both Efrian and Mirellia's heads. "Mommm…" they whined while hiding their faces behind both their masks and their hands.

"Come on Efrina," her mi'thia continued unabated. "You're going to be sixty seven this year," She turned to Mirellia. "And you're going to be fifty-six, I was married to your father when I was only in my forties!"

Just barely, Mirellia and Efrina both thought. You were forty nine…

"And I would also like a grandson to pick up my blacksmithing trade when I retire in another few hundred years… or so… and Veros looks really strong!" Their dar'nra started laughing again, so their mi'thia once again grabbed his ear making him wince.

"Come on Marcella," he cried. "Let go of my ear already!"

"No," Marcella snapped. "I will not… Vorn… not until you learn not to pick on your daughters, they've been through a lot today!"

"I know, I know," Vorn cried, he rubbed his sore ear after Marcella finally let him go. "I was only half joking alright!"

Mirellia and Efrina went red in the face once again.

This time their mi'thia didn't come to their rescue. "You're father does make a good point… if Lord Veros hadn't rescued you two then right now you would have been treated like livestock by those damned pigs!"

Mirellia and Efrina paled when they saw the fire of hatred burning in their mi'thia's eyes, they'd only seen that look one other time in their lives and the one that made them flair up like that didn't live for very long, their mi'thia was a former adventurer and mercenary who had ties to even the Nobility of several enemy kingdoms, though most Dark Elves didn't care for their Queen and her personal vendetta against the human nations.

The family all worried, if their Queen learned about Veros, who was mostly human with a bit of Zebrakian in his lineage which when Vorn made the comment about their master being a demon was actually kind of true.

Still, even though Veros has some Greater Demon blood running thru his veins, they hoped that Olga Discordia wouldn't find out about him. They walked the rest of the way home in silence while they all thought about the disaster that awaited them if their revenge crazed Queen were to find out about him.

Veros's eyes snapped open, it was the middle of the trell and the moon was high up in the diamond dotted sky when he felt something that shouldn't have been possible.

"Ah," Alara stopped sucking on Veros's cock in order to look up and smile at him. "You're awake, good! And here I thought I might lose my virginity to an unconscious participant."

"Alara," Veros closed his eyes, sat up, pressed his fingers to his forehead and shook his head. "Are you really sure you want to go thru this… with me I mean?"

"You saved my life," Alara smirked while she teased his penis with her hand. "And I'd be getting fully pounded by giant worm riddled pig dicks right about now, so yes I've actually wanted you, almost from the moment that I met you…" She went back to sucking him off.

Veros leaned forward and clamped his hands over her cheeks, he lifted her face off from his lower half. "I'm not entirely human, nor am I entirely sane, I'm one of the broken and if you really intend to have intercourse with me, then there might be consequences…"

Alara gently rubbed his cheek and smiled a sincerely serene smile at him. "Veros," she turned her head and kissed his right hand that he had loosened up on her cheek. "Fuck the consequences," She leaned in a kissed his lips they both went wide eyed when they felt the passion and sparks between them. Alara quickly got up in order to sit in Veros's lap she passionately kissed him again while wrapping her arms around his frame, she was shocked to find that even though he looked scrawny he was actually well muscled.

Veros also wrapped his arms around Alara's alluring body, she was indeed gorgeous to look at, but she also felt the perfect combination of both hard and soft. Veros let his hands wander, his fingers getting tangled in her thigh length hair before running across her naked back, her skin felt really good to him then he stopped when he felt her wince and she slightly bit his lower lip.

"You're still hurt," Veros stopped and tried to push her away, but Alara clamped her own hands on his forearms to prevent him from fully pushing her off of him.

"I've had worse," Alara smirked and even giggled. "Trust me… I think I can do this even with a few bruises. And those pigs would have done much worse to me… I also really like the way that your touch feels on my skin, I can tell that you are a very passionate man, but you're also gentle. You don't put too much pressure in your touch… and even now, you're still worried about me…" She shook her head while her eyes narrowed passionately at him. "I think that you worry too much Veros… I am not going to break if we have sex and I want to be here with you… now…" Her eyes burned with passion and she kissed him with such hunger Veros thought that she might have become a Fallen, but then he felt her heartbeat, she was pressing herself against him so hard. "Fuck me, my Shadow Knight!" She commanded. "Mark me! Fill me with your essence… I want to let everyone of those morons in town know that I am yours!"

Veros shrugged, glanced up at the ceiling and sighed. "As you wish my dark mistress," he gently pushed her off him, so that he could remove his shirt and remove his pants that had already been unzipped for him.

Alara did get off from him, in order to allow him to do so, her eyes going ever wider when he revealed his toned body to her that was made even more alluring while it was bathed under the moonlight that streamed thru the open window. He's a God, he must be! No mere mortal could have a body like that… Alara thought while the passion and heat along with her heartbeat soared ever higher.

Alara bit her lower lip in anticipation when Veros rejoined her on the bed. His erection wasn't a large as those of the smelly Orcs, but it was plenty big enough. Without being able to wait a moment more she roughly pushed him down making him tilt his head and raise a blood red eyebrow at her. She smirked when she grabbed a handful of his shaft and eased him inside of her, the amount of sheer pleasure mixed with a dull pain made her moan when she sheathed the full length of his sorjin.

Veros smelled the scent of blood, he immediately sat back up and wrapped his arms around Alara. "I'm so sorry," he whispered into her ear.

Alara still managed to think that Veros was cute, even while in the midst of a massive orgasm sending a torrent of love juices over Veros's thighs and genitals. A trickle of blood accompanied her other fluids. Veros found that Alara had now lost herself completely in the thralls of her lust. Her eyes even looked like they had pink glowing hearts in them. She started pumping herself up and down while she planted her lips on his before shoving her tongue between his teeth. Veros was quite shocked when she did that, but this was his first time doing this sort of thing, so he wasn't sure what was considered to be normal behavior. After thinking about it, in her current state of mind he decided that it would be best to just let her do whatever she wanted with him.

This is her trell after all, Veros thought while his hands again explored Alara's back and un-bruised thigh and crath cheek. He was trying to be careful to not grab her injured thigh and upper leg. She climaxed two more times and after each time she lost more and more self control. Veros finally came to a climax during her fifth orgasm. He filled her with his glowing neon pink seed. Alara removed her tongue from his mouth in order to arch her back and let out a very loud and satisfied moan. She collapsed back into his arms while her eyes rolled into the back of her head before they closed. Veros held her sweat soaked form under the moonlight.

"I iloni you too, Alara…" Veros closed his own eyes and kissed her neck. "My wife…" he whispered.

Veros waited a while before he disentangled himself from Alara's now peacefully sleeping form. She still had a smile on her face, though she did let out what appeared to be a rather disgruntled soft moan to his ears. Even in her sleep she sounds rather upset to suddenly have her iloni leave her like that. Veros thought. But, I now have some work to do, he leaned over, pushed aside some of her black matted sticky hair out of her face and kissed her forehead.

Veros walked around to the foot of the bed, there he levitated off the floor and sat cross-legged in the air. He stretched out his right hand palm down while he uttered the prayer spell to create a blood gem.

Blood is strong, blood is weak.

It flows through us so we can move and speak.

Blood gives us life, its loss brings death.

But of those in the Zaharaj have unlocked the rest

God, in his wisdom give us mortals a test.

So, it's for us to prove our blood is best.

Blood unshackled grants mortals power like the light from a blooming trell flower.

Because darkness cannot abide, where this light does reside,

let your blood shine forth don't let it hide!

The blood that Alara had bleed during the session of their intercourse was siphoned off the bed sheets and even off from Veros's genitals. It all matriculated an inch or so under Veros's palm. The blood started glowing when he righted his hand while the forming blood gem began to solidify when he turned his palm up. A few dironns later and the blood gem was both fully formed and solid. Veros finally reopened his eyes while the remaining spell's energy dissipated and faded.

Veros was shocked to see that the virgin blood gem wasn't a solid red like the ones that he was used to seeing worn around the necks of married women in the Empire. The one floating above his palm was mostly blood red, but there was also a bit of opaque whites and even some neon pinks mixed into the bright red glow. The added colors did give this virgin blood gem a very unique appearance.

"I wonder if I fraked up the spell somehow," he muttered while scratching his damp head. He looked at his new sleeping wife and frowned. "I'm sorry Alara, but I think I accidently added a bit of your other fluids and…"— he noticed a bit of his glowing neon pink goo ooze out of her vaginal cavity. —"A bit of my own iloni juice to your virgin blood gem."

Veros sighed and groaned while he placed his feet back under him. He sauntered over to the dresser and picked up his right hand glove that had the green U-gem embedded into the back of it. The U-gem started glowing while Veros sorted through the inventory. It didn't take him long to find what he was looking for. A small ornate box and a silver mithril chain popped out of the U-gem and materialized out of a green mist. The U-gem stopped glowing when he placed his glove back on top of the other one. It didn't take long for Veros to attach the reddish, pinkish hued glowing virgin blood gem to the mithril chain which, he then placed inside the ornate box that had a soft red velvety setting inside of it. The glow from the blood gem made the velvet lining look both dark pink as well as a bit purple. He smiled while he looked at the blood gem in its resting place before he slowly closed the cover, which made a bit of a snap when it fully shut drowning out, then fully dousing the blood gem's emanating glow.

Veros picked up his discarded pants and shirt, folding them up before placing them on top of his cloak that was in the chair. He smiled when he once again joined Alara in bed, she immediately wrapped herself around him, a warm smile adorned her face and a small satisfied moan escaped her lips. Veros again swiped some of her long black hair out of her face before kissing her forehead once more. He rested his chin on her head while he lay in bed with her. He stayed awake for a while longer taking in her scent and simply watching and feeling her breath while the glow of the moon reflected off her tanned skin and ebony hair.

I could get used to this, Veros thought, I never would have thought I'd ever find a wife… he stroked Alara affectionately a few more times before finally closing his own eyes and joining her in the land of dreams.

Alara's eyes fluttered a bit before fully snapping open. She felt that something was different, her eyes went really wide when she noticed that her body was draped over Veros's body. She was about to remove herself from him, but after regaining her composure she decided not to, instead she smiled before leaning into him, kissing the nape of his neck before snuggling even further in to him. Her eyes suddenly snapped open once more when she realized that she wasn't in any pain.

What the fuck, she thought tilting her head just enough to look at her exposed side where the bruises should have been, but weren't. What happened to all of those bruises? I took a real beating from those pig bastards yesterday, didn't I? She rubbed her butt and thigh, but there really wasn't any pain. Her eyes widened when she noticed that her hair color had changed. It was a deep black and now it was a dark purple that turned a blood red toward the middle of her back. She sat up and stared at Veros sleeping next to her. Changes, she thought. He said that there might be some… changes. Alara hung her head only to see that her chest had grown, it wasn't quite double in size, but there was a significant difference from before she had fallen asleep. She grabbed both navree in her hands and even played with them for a bit, she could feel the muscles under the mounds of flesh had increased. Now she was even more curious.

I wonder what other intriguing changes happened to my body while I was asleep, Alara thought before slowly getting up off of her lover.

When Alara got up off the bed she felt taller. She rubbed her arms which felt more muscled, her legs were also more defined. She went really wide eyed once again when she could feel everything around her from the inanimate objects like the dresser and chair to even the most insignificant particle of dust if she concentrated hard enough.

"So this is the verse that Veros kept going on about," Alara stretched out her hand and without much effort the chair and the dresser were lifted several feet off the floor. "Now this is useful…" she smirked while she gently placed them back on the floor. She turned to look at the sleeping Shadow Knight, she lowered her arm and a sense of fear washed over her. "What happens when everyone finds out that they can gain the same powers that he uses by sleeping with him," Alara glided herself over to sit on the edge of the bed and lean over Veros and rest her head on his chest. "Veros, my love, I don't know if I can protect you from everyone who will want to gain your powers…" She frowned and her ears drooped.

Veros felt a very powerful verse ripple and indren'freth flicker in such close proximity his eyes shot open startling Alara who was looking rather depressed and worried while she rested her chin on his chest.

"Is something the matter," Veros rubbed the top of Alara's now purple haired head he admired her cool new look while he ran his hand through her purple that turned blood red hair, when the last strand fell from his fingers he rested his hand against her cheek. "Alara you don't look so good… and I sense that your mind is in a great amount of turmoil. I had warned you last trell that there might be some changes if you married me…"

Alara's eyes widened and she sat up. "Married," she cried aloud and in her mind. "Wait since when were we married?"

Veros blinked his dark red and amber ringed eyes in confusion. "We had sex last trell did we not, so we performed the marriage act. I thought that was the reason that you wanted to have sex? Are you regretting your decision?" he spoke so softly and with such a frown that she thought he might actually start crying.

Alara reached over and clamped his mouth shut. "Wait," she used her free hand to rub the bridge of her nose. "Are you saying that when two Imperials have sex, that is considered to be the marriage ceremony? So, now that we've done it, that makes me your wife?"

Veros tilted his head and nodded. Was that not the reason for entering my room last trell, he telepathically asked her. To perform the marriage ceremony with me?

Alara dropped her hand and hid her face behind her bangs. I only wanted to give him my virginity for saving both it, and my life. I didn't think that sex was considered to be equivalent of exchanging vows… I'm feeling sorrowful, excited and extremely scared. Does he even care enough about me to…

Veros halted all of Alara's tumultuous thoughts when he hugged the statuesque woman whose emotions were in total disarray.

"Alara," Veros whispered into her ear. "Did you think that I'd abandon you, I am your husband now and I would never abandon my wife…" He slowly lifted her chin and brushed her hair out of her face revealing her wide ruby red tear dripping eyes. "I iloni you Alara I wouldn't have had intercourse with you if I didn't…" he leaned forward and kissed her.

The woman's mind cleared and she wrapped her arms around him. I have a husband who loves me… I never would have imagined.

Veros interrupted her thoughts when he silently told her to, shut up and just enjoy the moment.

Alara did so, but then she noticed that her new husband was super aroused. Hmmm, seems that the fun we had last night might have only been my fist course, she telepathically told him while her left hand wandered down his back and wrapping around his shaft.

Veros shuddered at his wife's sudden move and he felt a rush of pleasure when she started stroking it. I guess it's time for round two, he telepathically sent right back. Veros rolled Alara over on the bed and ground himself into her making her moan so loud that he thought that they'd wake the entire town.

Alara watched her husband get dressed from the bed that they had made a mess. There were a lot more stains on the blankets and sheets, but there wasn't any blood. Alara actually wondered about that.

From what I've heard several women say, Alara thought. I should be in a lot of pain right now and there should be at least some blood on the blankets and sheets… She frowned while she tossed some of the covers to look for her blood spot.

"Ummm," Veros tightened his right glove while he watched Alara grow ever more frantic while she strew the blankets and sheets about on the bed. "Alara do I want to know what it is that you're looking so frantically for on the bed… did you perhaps lose something?"

"Yes," Alara threw down the pillow in her right hand and the blanket in her other. "I'm looking for my virginity… I was sure I had lost it last night and according to all the women that I've overheard there should be a bloodstain somewhere on the bed and I can't find it…" She had tears welling up in her eyes when she looked at Veros with a frown. "I'm sure I was a virgin before last night… I mean I kind of lost my mind and don't remember much besides the pleasure, but I'm sure that I bleed… didn't I Veros…"

Veros tilted his head and frowned. "Of course you were a virgin Alara, I was too…" She stopped crying and her ears perked up and she got really red in the face. "I was the one who took your virginity after all iloni."

"I know that you took my virginity," Alara's ruby eyes started tearing up again. "That's what has me so angry…"

"No," Veros snickered while he shook his head. "You're misunderstanding me. What I mean is that I was the one who used your blood to create your virgin blood gem…" He again titled his head. "Do the males not perform the blood gem ritual for you after you perform the marriage ceremony on this planet?" He went wide eyed. "That wouldn't only be rude, it would also be a waste of a really powerful weapon!"

"You took my virginity," Alara was still confused. "Blood gem? Ritual? I don't understand Veros, what are you trying to tell me?"

Veros picked up the small black case off the dresser and walked over to the bed and handed it to her. She looked at the small case that was placed in her hand. With a sense of wonder she opened the lid. A marble sized sphere glowing with a red and in some places pink hue reflected off her ruby eyes. She could tell that this was hers, she didn't know how or why she knew this, she just did. Alara also knew that this glowing gem was very powerful.

Veros smiled while he picked up the chain and draped it over her head. Alara pulled up her hair so that the chain was sitting around the back of her neck. She felt the light and heat of the blood gem when it fell between her navree. She picked it up and watched it spin on the edge of its chain the light again reflecting off her eyes.

"You made this," she glanced at Veros who smiled and proudly nodded his head. "That's kind of what husbands do… at least back where I'm from. It is normal to create a blood gem using our spouse's virgin blood, though most Marcisian woman wear them like a simple accessory the women in the Shadow Knights, or the women in The Order of The White Hand use them to power their blood sorjins."

"Blood… sorjin," Alara dropped her gem back into her cleavage and eyed Veros with eager eyes. "What's that?"

Veros removed his blood sorjin off his belt and ignited the blade. The ice-white center that emanated a dark red glow hummed whenever he waved it. "This is a blood sorjin," Veros shut it off and handed the hilt to his wife.

Alara's eyes went really wide when she held the metal cylinder in her hands. "You mean that I can use my blood gem to power a weapon like yours?" she felt the power of her husband's blood gem hidden inside the hilt. Alara really liked the feeling, so she closed her eyes and tightened her grip. She pressed the button that Veros did, she frowned so she pressed it twice in rapid succession, then the blade turned on. The sheer force of the blade igniting made her open her eyes, she stared into the center of the blade that was mesmerizing to her.

"Veros," Alara closed her eyes and turned off his blood sorjin. "You are a very powerful and magical man and…" she handed the hilt back to him. "I love you!"

"I know," Veros closed his eyes and smile while he placed his sorjin back on his belt. "I wouldn't have married you if you didn't." He picked Alara up off the bed and hugged her tight. "And I iloni you too Alara… though…" he let go of her and slightly pushed her away. "I was rather shocked that you came into my room last trell and started to give me fellatio."

"I know," Alara spoke so seductively while licking her lips. "I hope to do it again sometime soon…" she eyed his crotch.

"I think we've done that enough for now," Veros chuckled when Alara pouted. "I'm already dressed and we still have some pigs to fillet." He still hugged her again, she kissed him in return. "Now hurry up and get dressed iloni so I can introduce you to all of my TADs and make some battle plans."

Veros noticed that Alara had suddenly averted her gaze. Veros then looked around for her clothes but didn't see any on the floor or on the dresser. "Uhhhh, iloni, where are your clothes?"

"Yeah," Alara's ears drooped and a small nervous frown appeared on her face. "Actually the only set I owned was destroyed by those fucking pigs yesterday…"

Veros face-palmed and groaned. "Are you telling me that you walked around town naked last trell?"

"Yes," Alara squeaked. "But I actually stopped by the central fountain to take a quick bath before I came to see you. I still had a bunch of that disgusting pig blood on me and I didn't want to smell like that shit while we were having sex…" her ears drooped even lower their points going below her shoulders. "That would have been a total mood killer."

Veros sighed. "I guess I should have expected as much…" he grabbed her hand and lead her out the door. "Come on iloni, I'll take you back to my ship. Don't worry, I have lots of stuff that you can wear."

Ferith was busy behind the counter of his hostel when he heard two sets of footsteps coming down the stairs. He saw Veros leading a Dark Elf woman with thigh length hair the dark purple color that turned red halfway down her back was exquisite. The woman was beyond beautiful, when she turned to look at him her ruby red eyes narrowed. Ferith's own aqua colored orbs widened when he realized who she was. Alara, Ferith thought. That, that can't be her she's, well she's not that gorgeous… was she?

That's right Ferith, Alara smirked while she telepathically told him off and bragged. I fucked a Dark Lord silly and now I look like this and I can use the verse just like he does… She pulled her virgin blood gem out of her cleavage to show it off to him. I bet your wife doesn't even have one of these does she! Alara released her gem making it fall back between her larger navree. The size of them made Ferith go red in the face and even start to drool, Alara flipped him the bird when she realized that he was ogling her due to her new looks.

"Thanks for allowing me to stay the trell," Veros only slightly turned his head. "But I think that my wife and I will make some new accommodations from now on…" He pulled Alara tight to him making her blush, but she was also giggling. She knew that his actions were making Ferith all kinds of jealous.

Ferith felt a sharp pain when the front door closed, his very erect penis slammed against the underside of the counter making tears well up in his aqua orbs.

"Ferith," his wife walked in the lobby of the hostel from the back when she heard the loud thump made when her husband fell over, her blue eyes narrowing at him. "What are you doing?" She asked because she found him doubled over on the floor behind the counter and clutching his groin.

"Nothing," Ferith yelped. "Just, bumped into the counter pretty hard…" He wasn't lying to her, because a part of him did bump into the counter, but he wasn't about to tell her what that something was, nor why it did so.

"I also heard the door chime," his wife eyed him with suspicion. "Did Veros leave already?"

"Yes, Lida" Ferith started to get back to his feet, but stopped about half way, he remained hunched over while he spoke with his wife. "You actually just missed him…" He squeaked.

"Did Veros's eyes arouse you," Lida narrowed her ocean blue orbs at him. "Or were you jacking off behind the counter… due to boredom again?"

"No," Ferith flatly denied while vigorously shaking his head. "I wasn't doing anything of the sort…" he tilted his head to glare back at his wife who was holding her hips over her blue dress and squinting at him. "And I only did it that one time!"

"Fine, fine," Lida raised her hands before taking the room key that Veros denied using, off the board and heading up to the room to change the linens. She discovered the reason why her husband was acting the way he did when she opened the door to room seven. The bed was in compete disarray and there were stains all over it. Lida's eyes went really wide when she looked down and saw a trail of tiny clear and neon pink drops that went from the bed and out the door. Lida went back into the hallway and the trail continued down the hallway, she ran to the stairwell and she could see that the trail continued down the stairwell and out the door.

Lida was panting, she startled Ferith when she slammed both of her palms down on the counter, leaned over it and got into his face. "Who," She cried. "Who was the woman that was with Lord Veros?"

Ferith's own eyes widened with fear and trepidation, he didn't know how much that his wife knew, so he decided to tell her the truth.

"Alara," Ferith stared into his wife's eyes that went wide with panic and worry.

"Alara," Lida shouted. "Are you sure it was her… not Efrina or Mirellia?"

"I am positive," Ferith frowned. "Trust me I was just as shocked as you are now when she came down the stairs, he was even holding her hand…" he nodded toward the door. "Lord Veros even hugged the girl and then he said she was…" He fell silent and shook his head.

"What," Lida grew more worried and excited. "What did Lord Veros say?"

Ferith's eyes twitched when his wife's eyes became nothing but dots. "Wife," Ferith shouted. "He said she was his wife! Alright? Are you happy now?"

Lida's eyes went from dots to the size of dinner plates. "He married Alara…" she whispered. "Why… I mean why her? That woman is practically an outcast, she only hunts every once in a while she lives in that shabby shack over by the west wall, what could Lord Veros possibly see in her?"

Both husband and wife turned to look at the lobby door. They both didn't have a good answer for that, but they also knew that this wouldn't be good when Efrina and Mirellia found out.

Veros led Alara out into the quiet main street, it was still early in the menronn when they woke up and had another tumble in the sheets. Alara still couldn't believe how good she felt, every sight, sound and even the taste in the air seemed more alive and crisp to her senses.

Veros chuckled when she broke away from his side and started twirling about in front of him with her arms outstretched. "Is this the way that you always feel," she stopped mid-twirl to look at him. "Everything feels more…"

"Alive…" Veros smirked. "Real?" He folded his arms across his chest.

"Both," Alara said before spinning around again, she stopped and lowered her arms. Her eyes narrowed while she faced northwest. "Is that what those pigs feel like," Veros turned to look where she was looking and nodded.

"Orcs, and their kind," Veros grimaced. "So you can feel their disgusting forms now too…"

Alara gritted her teeth and nodded. "It's like a black hole combined with an insatiable hunger wrapped in a massive blanket of depravity…" She turned her hands into tight fists. Her eyes suddenly shot open when she felt something even more disturbing even further west. She suddenly crouched down, held her head and grimaced while she tried to block out this new presence that she felt that was several thousand times more repulsive than that of the pigs.

Veros ran over to her and wrapped himself around her.

"Veros," Alara whimpered. "What the fuck is that…" she seemed scared and repulsed while she looked into Veros's strangely sinister colored eyes that brightened and glowed when a creepy smile adorned his face while he looked in the direction where the feeling emanated.

"Ah," Veros let out a single laugh. "So you can even feel that… thing too… don't worry, iloni I'll be taking care of that right after we deal with the pig threat."

Veros kissed Alara and brought her into the void, she wasn't creeped out like Efrina was, in fact she rather liked the darkness all around her, she felt right at home making Veros think that she might be one of the broken too. While in the void he taught her how to put up mental barriers to shield her mind from other verse users and to shield her mind from hearing the voices inside of other being's heads.

Alara thanked Veros for teaching her this technique because once she put up her own mental barrier it drowned out the overwhelming sickly negative feeling emanating from whatever it was in the mountain range in the distance.

The two sentries that were guarding the south gate of Foss reeled and then stared at Alara who again showed off her new look as well as her blood gem. They both dropped their spears when she told them that she had married Veros last night by joining him in his bed.

Alara laughed at the cries of frustration and jealousy from the two Dark Elf males when she latched onto Veros's arm and gave them the middle finger while blowing a raspberry in their direction.

Veros rolled his eyes at his new wife's antics. The TADs that were still sitting at the controls of the hover-copter turned on when he stepped through the open doorway, he turned around and assisted Alara who wanted to know everything about everything concerning the flying machine when it took off. The sound of the engines startled and awoke most of the residents on Foss's South side of town. Dark Elves came out of their homes to look skyward at the hover-copter, or stuck their heads out of the windows to watch it zoom off toward the southeast.

Alara enjoyed the ride despite having rather cool wind buffeting her naked skin the entire trip. Her dark tan nipples were fully erect and her tanned skin was covered with frepple when they landed by the downed Nightrunner star-ship. Veros removed his cloak and wrapped her up in it, or at least tried to, because Alara refused.

"If I'm going to be your wife even after we get back to your Marcisian Empire then I need to start acting more like a Marcisian woman," Alara kissed Veros while latching onto his arm once more. "And from what you've told me and from the memories that I read while inside that void of yours most women don't care about being naked…"

"That's only on some planets," Veros protested and you're not immortal. "And you can't tap into your…"

Alara let him go, ran a few feet in front of him and tapped into her own indren'freth her body was really warmed up when it erupted in red and violet flames. "Where you about to say my inner fire love?" She folded her arms under her chest and gave him a proud yet knowing smirk.

"Is there anything that you don't know how to do now," Veros muttered.

"Plenty," Alara chided. "But I'm sure I'll figure everything out in time."

Veros rolled his eyes while he led his now fire engulfed and floating wife up the back ramp of the Nightrunner. He led her to the same crate that he retrieved Marcisian body suits for Efrina and Mirellia the previous deronn.

Because of Alara's body type changing due to his seed injection she had become very much like a Marcisian woman. Her proportions were so close now to a typical Marcisian woman that it didn't take him long to find a suit that would fit her.

Alara smirked when he tossed the suit to her. She gave him a conniving grin while she put it on. Are you sure that you want me wearing this love, she telepathically asked him. I mean don't you think that I look better in the buff? She started laughing when Veros only cocked an eyebrow at her and frowned.

While she was finishing zipping up the front of her new armored suit, Veros vanished into the many isles of crates that were stacked from floor to ceiling. He came back into view a moment later with a bundle of stuff in his arms.

Alara was outfitted with boots, gloves an armored mask and a PB-twenty three side arm with its accompanying holster. Right after Alara tightened her new gloves and strapped them up Veros surprised her when he tossed a metal cylinder to her. Her ruby eyes got really wide with excitement when she realized what it was that her husband had given to her.

"A blood sword," Alara glanced from the foot long metal cylinder to Veros and back to the cylinder. "Veros where, why… is this really mine?"

Veros turned his back to her a wide smile adorned his face while he nodded. "If you don't want it then…"

"No," Alara yelled and cut him off hugging the metal cylinder tight to her chest. "I want it, in fact I have the perfect power source for this!"

Veros turned around to face her, "Want some help with that?"

Alara shook her head. "No," she reached into her suit and retrieved the blood gem from out of her cleavage. She removed the glowing pink and red gem from off the chain. She closed her eyes and concentrated the metal cylinder wiggled and jiggled in her open palm before lifting into the air a few inches in front of her, the metal chassis exploded out like a blooming flower revealing the inner workings including the round glass like center where the heart of the sorjin sits. She used her other hand to guide her blood gem toward the clear hallow ball that separated when the gem got close enough. The two halves of the clear cradle closed around the blood gem before the outer chassis covered it all back up, a loud snap echoed thou-out the cargo hold letting every being there know that a very powerful weapon was just borne.

Alara opened her eyes, reached out and gripped the foot long cylinder with both hands and with bated breath she pushed the button twice fast that was located about a half inch away from the emitter. A very dark pink blade surrounded an ice-white center emerged with a very satisfying snap hiss. Alara's eyes lit up with wild excitement when her very own blood sorjin came to life for the first time. Like a kid with a new toy she shut it off, grabbed Veros up in a hug, gave him a very passionate kiss before running out the back of the ship's cargo hold. Veros shook his head when he heard his wife yell in excitement outside the ship while she swung around her new weapon, this one would never chip, never break, nor would it ever let its owner down.

Veros scratched the top of his blood red head before shaking it, I think I've made a monster, he thought.

Oh, you know it love, he felt his wife telepathically retort right back. I am so happy that I married you, this blood sword is the greatest!

Veros was levitating a crate down the back of the ramp when his comm. system turned on. One of his TADs had contacted him. "Master, satellite images show that the enemy is on the move."

Veros stiffened at that and he even felt the worry emanating from his wife. "Where are they headed and how many are there?"

The TAD took a second to reply. "There is an unknown number, the satellites are having a hard time getting an exact fix, but they are heading for the big city north east of Foss, I have been told that the city is called Loraine by one of the locals."

Frak, Veros thought. I didn't think that those damned monsters would forgo Foss and head for the fortified city… "Can you estimate their numbers?" Veros asked whatever TAD that had contacted him.

"Scanning," The TAD remained quiet for a while. "Approximately ten to fifteen thousand…"

Veros started laughing even though he felt his wife collapse to the ground outside, he even sensed her thinking why her crazy husband would laugh at the number of their enemies.

Alara ran over to Veros while he loaded the crate onto the hover-copter. He pressed the button to make his mask retreat so the she could see his very evil and conniving grin. She shook her head and smirked, upon realizing that her husband was planning something that the pigs wouldn't expect.

"How long before the monsters reach Loraine," Veros asked the TAD via his comm.-link.

"The army will fall upon the city just before trellfall at their current pace master," was the answer he received.

Veros went from slightly worried to downright giddy. Alara also started to smile when she felt her husband's elation, she continued to swing her new blood sorjin in order to get used to it.

It won't be long before I can use you in real combat, Alara thought while going from a two-hand slice, into a graceful spin and doing a quick one-handed thrust.

It didn't take long for Veros to get the fourth and final crate loaded into the hover-copter. Alara immediately ran over and joined him inside the transport they were back at Foss in less than an hour. Efrina and Mirellia were horrified when they saw Alara dressed in the same Imperial combat gear that their master had given to them. They were even more horrified when Alara told them that she had given him his virginity and when she showed off her new blood sorjin and told not just them but practically every Dark Elf in town how Veros can pass his powers onto those he sleeps with and create a powerful virgin blood gem infuriated the sri'nas.

The Dark Elf wives all got very angry with their husbands for not creating a blood gem for them while the other three unwed young Dark Elf women in the town ran over to Veros and began begging him to sleep with them. Alara, Efrina and Mirellia all put a stop to that. Alara was rather curious along with most of the town's folk what Veros was going to do with the two sri'nas that he had saved.

"I saved their lives," Veros looked at the two angry, yet hopeful looking women. "If they also want to become my wives I can't protest…" he did slump a bit when he told them that.

Alara glanced at the two women who seemed undecided in her eyes.

"He's a good man despite how he looks," both of their parents shouted at them. "You'll never find another male on this planet like him!"

"He fell from the heavens for god's sake," another Dark Elf yelled.

"You also both owe him a life debt," Vogos smacked the butt of his staff hard on the ground while he eyed the two women. "And are you really going let Alara have him all to herself?" He shouted at them. "I know that you two would make much better wives than she would!"

"We can decide all of this later," Veros tapped into his indren'freth and so did Alara who leaned herself against her husband, which made the entire crowd, go wide eyed when her body erupted in red and purple flames. "Right now we have to get to Loraine." Veros eyed his two apprentices now come on!"

Efrina and Mirellia were still undecided while they walked behind Veros and a very giddy Alara that was clinging to him out of Foss's southern gate. They were soon in the air and heading for a very unsuspecting Loraine.

The lookouts on top of the great wall that surrounded the city fortress of Loraine couldn't believe their ears. There was a noise coming from the sky, it didn't take long for them to see what was making the noise. Five big black metal bug looking things hovered over the main courtyard and parade grounds. The Dark Elves in the courtyard scattered while the soldiers took up positions to defend their city. Four black clad beings jumped out of one of the big metal bugs when it descended to only hover a few feet off the ground. The metal bug regained altitude and joined the other four in the air over the courtyard before they started circling the city.

One, armor clad Dark Elf ran over to the four intruders.

"Halt," he leveled his shaky spear at the four black clothed beings. "Who are you, where did you come from and what is it that you want!" He shouted fearfully while his eyes kept going from the four intruders to the circling flying machines.

"Wow," Alara placed her hand on her hip and huffed. "I didn't think that you were still the biggest moron in all of Garan, Vis…"

Vis went really wide eyed and a few other onlookers and soldiers did too.

"Alara," Vis shouldered his spear. "Is that really you?"

"Alara rolled her eyes behind her mask and sighed. "I'm sorry Veros, my halfwit brother is still a moron… he doesn't even recognize his own sister…"

"Probably because you left forty years ago and we thought you were dead," Vis stormed over to Alara and got right in her face. "Big sis, and stop calling me a moron… moron!"

"Huh," Alara folded her arms under her chest and glared at him. "You dare to call your big sister a moron… in front of my husband… really?"

Vin balked at this and he even dropped his spear, several more Dark Elves also went slack jawed and even more were murmuring about what she just said.

"Husband," Vin shook his head while slapping the top of it. "Are you serious… my sister… the former guard captain of Loraine who got offered a position with the Queen's guard and turned it down actually found an even bigger moron to marry?" He held his hands out wide. "Who… who in their right fucking mind would marry you?"

Alara turned her head to the left to glare at her husband. "Well Veros, are you going to let this moron insult your wife like that?"

All eyes turned to the black clothed male with the giant white pinwheel looking design on the back of his cloak. "We don't have time for this," Veros muttered. "Can I please speak to whoever is in charge?"

"No Veros," Alara turned her body, placed her hands on her hips and leaned forward. "This moron just insulted you wife, so your wife demands that you defend her honor!" She pointed at Vin who kept glancing from Veros to Alara and back again.

Efrina and Mirellia both began laughing at the start of the whole thing. They knew that Alara was eccentric, but finding out that she was a Captain of the Loraine Guard and had also turned down an offer to be in the Queen's Guard to become a recluse in their little town was too much for them.

Veros sighed, he gave Alara a quick glance before using the verse to send Vis tumbling thru the air, the invisible kinetic blast spun the poor guy end over end before Vis slammed hard against the cobblestone courtyard and skidding to a stop several yards away from where he was standing.

"Happy," Veros lowered his hand and eyed his wife.

"Yes, very," Alara beamed with satisfaction behind her mask that it made Veros roll his eyes.

All of those in attendance had no idea what just happened, all they knew was that the black clad man who was apparently Alara's husband sent her brother flying just by holding out his hand.

Another Dark Elf woman pushed her way through the crowd she went over to stand in front of Veros, Alara and the still laughing sri'nas Efrina and Mirellia standing behind them. The armor that this Dark Elf woman could barely pass for armor, her chest was only partly covered leaving the rest of her front completely exposed. She did have a pauldron on her right shoulder and she even wore gauntlets, her metal boots came up to her knees. There were two plates that covered her thighs, but she was only wearing a g-string that had a thick leather belt over it.

"Who are you," The scantily clad woman demanded, though she eyed Vin's fallen spear and even took a quick glance at the man himself who was still laying prone several yards behind her.

"My name is Veros…" Veros started, but Alara stepped in front of him.

"This is my husband, his name is Veros," Alara got into this new woman's face, they were so close that their navree were touching, though Alara had this woman outsized in more ways than one. "He fell from the stars a few days ago, you remember that big metal thing that flew over our heads, that was actually his," she pointed at him. "Star-ship, he's an alien from an Empire that spans across an entire Galaxy!" She shouted so loud that most of the Dark Elves that heard her jaws drop and several more spears were dropped too.

The scantily clad woman's big ruby eyes had gone very wide while her long black hair did obscure most of her right one she stared passed Alara and at Veros who shrugged.

"Hi," Veros waved his right hand at her. "I'm Veros the alien… now can I please see whoever is in charge there is an army of Orcs and monsters baring down on this city…"

"What," the woman and most of the soldiers shouted. "An army of Legion is on its way here?"

"Do you know how many," The scantily clad woman asked after regaining her composure.

"Ten to fifteen thousand," Veros flatly stated, this caused Efrina and Mirellia to stop laughing. "There could be more… the satellites are having a hard time penetrating the denser forest foliage."

"Did you say fifteen thousand," the woman asked terrified.

"Yes," Alara smirked. "Aunty Marchessa, he said fifteen thousand, now can you please lead us back to the keep so that we can talk to mom and dad… if he's still around"— she muttered. —"about our battle plan!"

Marchessa lead her niece, Alara along with her husband Veros and his two apprentices Efrina and Mirellia through the many corridors, up a flight of stairs and down two more hallways that were lined with what appeared to be family portraits.

Marchessa ignored the two guards that were standing on either side of a set of ornately decorated double doors, she simply, unceremoniously threw them open.

"Greetings big sister Lily," Marchessa shouted while she strode down the red carpet that led up to a small dais that had a very gaudy looking throne on top of it. "You'll never guess who's finally come crawling back here to see you and with rather dire news…"

The ruby eyed beauty on the throne crossed her left leg over her right while she rested her chin on her right fist while glancing at the four beings that were following Marchessa. The skimpy purple dress she was wearing left nothing to the imagination.

What the frak is wrong with these Dark Elves, Veros thought while eyeing both the woman on the throne and the guards that where flanking her. Their armor doesn't protect anything and even their clothes are very revealing. He rolled his eyes. Even my apprentices' attire didn't cover much and protected even less. Do all of the beings on this planet have some kind of death wish…

"Hey mom," Alara stepped in front of her ari'thia Marchessa. "Long time no see…"

"Indeed," Liliana got up from her throne. "You disappeared how long ago now… forty four years or so and you now dare to show up in my throne room with an alien husband no less," she narrowed her ruby eyes at Veros.

Liliana raised her hand to prevent Alara from speaking. "I've already been informed about what transpired in the courtyard, and those five flying machines are making quite the racket as well," she suddenly smirked. "Now what does your alien husband propose we do about the Legion army heading for my beautiful city…" she stepped down off the dais and walked in front of the rather imposing Imperial. "I assume you didn't bring your flying ships and my daughter back to me just to die at the hands of those ugly pigs now did you?"

"No," Veros shook his head. "I've actually brought a few party favors that were supposed to be used in the Fallen war back in the Furtuna Galaxy, but they'll be put to much better use here…"

"Oh, ho," Liliana sounded very interested in what this alien had to offer. "And how many party favors are you willing to provide?"

"How about, ten thousand fully armed Tactical Assault Dolls! And seventeen siege tanks along with twenty particle cannons?" Veros smiled a very sinister smile behind his mask, Efrina, Mirellia and his wife Alara all went wide eyed at what he said he brought with him.

"Fuck me, love," Alara gained everybeing's attention when she yelled that. "You didn't bring reinforcements! I mean you hardly ever hear the word overkill, unless you're talking about Queen Discordia, or Princess Celestine," several Dark Elves frowned when she mentioned both of those names, but she continued unabated. "But love you are indeed the very definition of overkill! Those pigs have no idea what they're running into when they arrive!"

"It'll be fun," Veros clapped his hands in anticipation. "I can assure you of that!"

If the small town of Foss was considered to be the best defended land on the planet that menronn, it already dropped to second place by that afternoon. The Dark Elves of Loraine had their breath taken away when ten thousand Tactical Assault Dolls all went from their baseball sized capsules to their six and a half foot tall lanky, but heavily armored gleaming black and silver metal covered forms. The Dark Elves were at first very distrusting of the golems, especially because there were so many of them. They really freaked out when Veros had the seventeen siege tanks appear in the largest free areas around the city. The Dark Elf Regent Liliana told her general Marchessa to make a decree that all of her subjects should do whatever the Dark Lord Veros asked of them.

Veros didn't like his new title that Liliana had bestowed upon him, but at least with the authority she had granted him he managed to clear space enough for all seventeen siege tanks within the city. The stall owners and shop keepers weren't all that happy to have to close up, or pack up, but when they found out that a ten to fifteen thousand monster army was baring down on them they were more than happy to do whatever Veros or one of the accompanying Dark Elf Knights asked them to do.

Ten TADs manned each of the seventeen siege tanks. The tanks were black and silver in color they looked similar to the ones that the terrans from the future used against the protos and zerg. But these Marcisian siege tanks boasted greater mobility and didn't have to have stabilizing feet in order to fire their ordinance. There were two piles of twenty shells stacked up by each one of the tanks. The Elves had no idea how a cylinder that was bigger than a coffin could possibly be a weapon, but Veros assured them that the effects of the shells were devastating.

"Those id'rthic Orcs will have lost more than half their strength before they even reach the walls with these babies," Veros bragged with a cocky laugh while he patted one of the shells on the pile. "I've also armed my hover-copters with four anti-personnel rocket TADs each! The TAD's quad plasma cannons will also be devastating, even after their ammunition for their rockets has been fully expended! The hover-copters are themselves equipped with two plasma cannons and even a proton torpedo launcher!" He broke out into maniacal laughter making a lot of Dark Elves think that he wasn't entirely right in the head, they were correct of course, those who were broken didn't have all of their reason, but they still did have a heart.

The Dark Elves rang the bells in the city to let the outlying farms know that an attack was coming and they needed to take shelter in the city.

Grace Campbell and her husband were heading for the city. The Dark Elves toward the front of the line kept looking up at the five black flying machines that circled the fortress city.

Grace felt her chest tighten, Loraine will never fall if the rumors about those flying machines are true, she thought while clasping her husband's hand even tighter. She still glanced back at their farm in the distance. I hope that we'll still have a home to go back to…

Home's can be rebuilt, Grace went really wide eyed when she heard and felt the voice in her head. Soil can be re-tilled, crops can be replanted, but your lives are irreplaceable, always remember that. Grace looked up at the top of the west wall that looked impregnable, but the small looking figure with the blood red hair that was billowing in the wind made the walls look extremely terrifying. She knew that the man was smiling. The legion has gone and angered a God, her eyes watered when she felt the gaze of the man on the wall fall upon her. I almost feel sorry for them…almost. She smiled while she dried her eyes with her free hand on the sleeve of her purple two piece dress.

"Is everything alright love," Gern turned to ask his wife with worry when he notice her crying. "Don't worry we'll live to see tomorrow," he gave her a rather weak smile that eased the tension she was feeling in her heart.

"Oh, Gern," Grace smiled while she continued to wipe her tears. "I have no doubt about that," she looked back up at the wall where the black clad red haired man was joined by three black clad women all three of them seemed even more giddy than the man that they were surrounding. "I have no doubt at all." Grace spoke with such conviction Gern jumped in shock a bit, but immediately straightened and relaxed while he reassuringly patted her head she rested her head on his shoulder, so he wrapped his arm around her waist.

The sun was starting to set when the Legion forces moved out from the tree-line of the dense forest. The city that they were going to sack seemed like a small nuisance in the distance.

Several troll commanders and Orc commanders noticed the black dots circling the city, but they didn't pay them any mind while they advanced thru the fields and neared the first farm where they thought they'd find some nice Dark Elf women to toy with. They were shocked to find that no one was there.

Veros smiled at the id'rthic orcs and goblins that came out of the forest first. He gave the seventeen siege tanks coordinates and ordered them to open fire. The Dark Elves on the wall all turned and ducked when the seventeen siege tanks unleashed their first barrage of ordinance at the unsuspecting Orcs and Goblins that looked like mere ants at that distance.

The Dark Elves that had homes near the big siege tanks were deafened by the noise of the siege tanks massive reports. The homes, stores and other buildings in the surrounding area had their roofs and windows rattled, or even broken and blown off due to the percussion of the artillery. The Dark Elves that were standing on the wall alongside the TADs were also stunned at the sound of both the projectiles being fired and the noise that they made when they screamed overhead. Both of those noises were nothing compared to the giant fireballs and explosions that the projectiles made when they came down.

All of the Dark Elves that lined up on top of the west wall were buffeted with a massive wave of hot air. Entire companies of Legion orcs, goblins and trolls that stayed behind the tree-line disintegrated. Trees that had grown for decades and centuries were blown into the air like toothpicks and rained down like kindling wood.

The Dark Elves were in awe while a trickle of cold sweat formed on the backs of a lot of their heads, the ones standing near the mad Dark Lord Veros were filled with fear and great respect. When Veros smiled that sinister smile of his and started laughing they all praised the heavens that he was on their side.

The siege tanks loaded and fired once more. The trolls in command that were left ordered a full advance, they weren't as stupid as normal orcs, or even goblins. These troll commanders realized that if they moved closer to the city then eventually they would be too close for them to use the explosive spells.

"Master," one of the TADs in the hover-copter circling overhead contacted the maniacally laughing man. "We are picking up a friendly fleeing from the forest and heading for the city, there is a large contingent of monsters after him.

Veros stopped laughing making his wife give him a worried glance when she felt the shift in his psyche. His two apprentices also noticed that he had started frowning while his eyes narrowed toward the horizon.

"All TADs reload siege tanks and await my command," Veros calmly spoke into his earpiece.

Alara, Efrina and Mirellia along with several other Dark Elves that were standing close to where he was backed away when he suddenly burst into black and red flames before taking off toward the western forest.

Veros removed his cloak and put himself into a spiral spin, in one swift motion he scooped up the fearful, crying Dark Elf boy in the folds of his mithril cloak. Hang on kid, Veros telepathically told the wide eyed boy before Veros landed and skidded across the grass. He put himself into another controlled yet graceful spin and swung the cloak out wide before he flung the cloak with the child inside up into the sky in a high arc. One of the hover-copters came in and tilted to the left in order for the TAD inside the opening to catch the boy wrapped up with the black mithril weave cloak. Once the child was safely in the TAD's arms, Veros turned to look at all of the Legion forces that were surrounding him his sinister smile returned tenfold.

"All siege tanks," Veros yelled into his earpiece. "Target my position and fire!"

Without a moment's hesitation all seventeen large, bulky, barrels adjusted their windage and let off another volley.

Alara, Efrina and Mirellia all gasped in horror when they realized that the projectiles were headed right for the fire engulfed man.

Veros turned his heels to face the thousand plus monsters who were none too happy that this crazy eyed man took away their prey, he was laughing maniacally once more when the first goblins closed in on him with rusty old daggers drawn and pointed at his stomach and chest.

I've been told that broken and Dark Masters were practically immortal, Veros thought while still laughing. Let's just see if that rumor holds water… "Boom," Veros calmly and softly spoke when the ordinance came down on top of his head.

Alara screamed, "NO!" When the entire area erupted in massive explosions, flames, debris and various monster body parts were flung high into the air while giant craters were formed in the landscape.

Not even the TADs could believe it when a familiar calm voice came across the comms. once again. "That felt good, target me again," Veros cackled. "I'll find an even bigger clump of monstrous scum!"

Alara collapsed to the stone floor of the parapet a very strange smile adorned her usually pretty face. She couldn't believe that her husband not only survived the devastation she had witnessed, but the explosions made him feel good and now he wanted more.

"He's insane," Alara looked at the rising thick smoke that blocked out the light of the setting sun that was now sinking behind the mountain range further west. "And I must be insane for loving him…" she started laughing in a more disturbing manner that her husband did. My husband seems to get a rise out of being hurt, she thought with an every widening crazed smile. Now I want to know how far I can go with him…

Efrina and Mirellia didn't like the way that Alara was acting and the fact that their master had survived such a catastrophic bombardment made them pale behind their masks. What's more worrying to them was he was also going to be their husband.

I hope that having sex with him doesn't make me crazy, Efrina and Mirellia both thought. Like it apparently did to Alara…

A black and red flame covered silhouette emerged out of the rising smoke and headed further into the forest where the troll commanders were located.

"Big ugly fraks found," Veros cried "all siege tanks fire on my location!"

For the third time the seventeen siege tanks sent ordinance over two miles where they exploded ripping seventeen new holes in the ground and sending even more trees, dirt and monster parts and pieces up into the air.

What was left of the fifteen thousand strong monster force reorganized when the three remaining orc commanders and one remaining orc general ordered a full assault against the fortress city. The goblins were left in the dust, their stumpy legs couldn't carry them as fast as the orcs and what few trolls were left. Even with the siege tanks doing a fine job of lowering their numbers there were still over eight-thousand monsters that were charging the walls. But they had more than a mile run ahead of them allowing the siege tanks to fire twice more before they're barrels couldn't elevate any higher.

The little less than four thousand Dark Elf defenders moral soared higher when the TADs that were along the east and north walls came over to bolster the forces on the west wall. The TADs that lined the south wall broke up to defend the other two walls that were abandoned, even though there was only a very low chance of any of the other walls being attacked by any of the Legion forces.

Alara, Efrina and Mirellia along with Alara's ari'thia, or aunt Marchessa along with her Dark Elf knights took their bows in their hands and elevated them high, they loosed their arrows at the oncoming hoard.

Liliana watched the battle unfold from the top of the keep, her ruby red eyes going wide with awe and respect. An ever widening smile adorned her face while a hunger welled up within her a hunger that she hadn't had to deal with in a very long time. A dark master… Liliana shook her head. No, he's a dark disaster and a force of nature… I don't think it would be good if I let my daughter and those two smith girls have him all to themselves… she liked her upper lip while she watched a red and black fiery form fly between the trees while cutting down monsters like a man obsessed. He's a Dark God, he's got to be and I want him…

Veros used his blood sorjin to bisect another goblin while using the verse to crush three more. Their shrill shrieks only made him more bloodthirsty. "Come on who's next," he cried into the burning forest. The monsters who still had their wits about them were running away from the fire engulfed crazy, but there were those whose hearts were completely clouded by hatred for the demon guised human and wanted nothing more than to avenge their fallen kindred. Veros happily sent them all to the afterlife with a smile on his face.

The trio of Dark Elf women were busy lining up ugly goblin and orc faces in their sights and pulling the triggers causing their heads to explode in a shower of gore. The Dark Elves that were firing arrows did kill the weaker goblins, but they did little to the orc and trolls that were left. The TADs Efrina, Mirellia and Alara were all enjoying being the instruments of destruction killing orcs with practically every plasma blast and even the ones that lived, would succumb to the wounds that the super heated charges of energy created.

Only a handful of goblin and orc monsters actually made it to the wall and the giant metal double doors that were the entrance to the mighty Dark Elf city fortress. They didn't know what to do when they got to the doors, the trolls that were supposed to carry the battering rams were laying dead over a hundred yards away from the wall. The trolls had holes ripped through their supposedly invulnerable bodies. The few orcs were blasted by concentrated fire from both the TADs and the Dark Elves a few moments after the two hundred monster contingent that had actually made it to the walls, were laying either dead or dying. A few orcs that only had their legs blown off were trying to crawl their way back to the forest but a fire engulfed freak of nature holding a dark red blade in his hand smiled a very sinister smile down at them before he plunged his blade into them killing them. Veros did the same thing to all of the goblins and orcs that were still alive. The man acted like he was stepping on ants that were scurrying about their ant hill while he made his way back to the walls of Loraine.

A loud cheer rose up from the Dark Elves when they realized that they had just defended their city from a force of Legion that numbered over fifteen thousand. A small group of Dark Elves along with several TADs joining them asked permission from their General and the Dark Master if they could go and find some Legion stragglers, they both agreed, but Veros insisted that the TADs take point.

"We haven't lost a single soul to those monsters," Veros switched off his blood sorjin clamped the hilt to his belt and powered down while he eyed the Dark Elf group leader who swallowed nervously when the crazy eyed man sized him up. "And I intend to keep it that way."

"Yes," The Dark Elf saluted him along with the twelve accompanying knights and soldiers. "Lord Veros!" They all yelled.

"Off with you then and good hunting," The thirteen Dark Elves all smiled while they ran off toward the badly damaged forest where the few surviving orcs and goblins lurked. Veros grabbed one of the passing TADs who looked at him. "You guys better keep them safe or I'll have the lot of you melted down for scrap… you get me TAD X-five-five?"

"Yes master," TAD X-five-five gave him a stiff bow before he was about to go after the other six TADs that were accompanying the thirteen Dark Elves. Veros gave him a smirk before finally letting go of his arm. Veros then used his head to gesture for him to get going. The TAD bowed again before running off in the direction the others went.

"Was that a wise idea," Marchessa leaned up against the wall of the stone gateway while Veros walked through the now open heavy metal doors. "Letting them go off like that?"

"They're young," Veros shrugged and sighed. "And my TADs will keep them safe from any real harm…"

Marchessa raised an eyebrow at him while he laughed. Veros didn't get very far when he was pounced on by his wife Alara, she held him tight shoving his face into her massive chest.

"Don't scare me like that again love," Alara slightly pushed him away, she pressed the button on her earpiece to make her mask retreat so that she could kiss her husband who stiffened upon hearing his wife's very dirty thoughts that were running through her corrupted mind.

"You're the scary one," Veros spoke while gasping for breath. "Alara my love…" he replied using the more standard address of endearment rather than the Marcisian one.

"You'll soon see," Alara pushed herself against him. "How scary I can be…" she leaned over and whispered. "In bed…"

Marchessa's ruby eyes widened when she heard what her niece said. Now I really feel sorry for Veros, having a wife like her can't possibly be any fun… she thought.

Alara turned and narrowed her eyes at Marchessa. "I'll have you know that my husband thinks that I am loads of fun…"

"Only if I'm shooting loads into her," Veros quipped without hesitation, but all Dark Elves within earshot went red in the face, except for Alara who was now giving him a very seductive look.

Marchessa coughed into her fist before beckoning for Veros, Alara, Efrina and Mirellia to follow her back to the keep in order to report to the Regent. Efrina and Mirellia were still blushing from Veros's and Alara's exchange while they stood in front of Liliana's throne. The woman was eyeing Veros in such a way that made Alara frown, but made Efrina, Mirellia and Marchessa very nervous.

"I must congratulate you," Liliana crossed her right leg over her left and was eyeing the man in front of her with quite the seductive grin on her face. "Lord Veros, you have slain an overwhelming Legion force in only a matter of hours, that must be some kind of a record." Liliana glanced up toward the high ceiling where a small stream of sunlight was still trickling in thru the stained glass windows that lined the upper west facing wall. "Now," Liliana got up off her throne and sashayed down the three steps and up to Veros where she gently pushed his chin up slightly to look him in the eyes. "I believe a reward is in order…"

"What do you think you are doing," Alara walked over to Liliana and grabbed her wrist so that she could throw her hand off from her husband's chin. "Mother," she hissed. "Veros is my husband and…" she sighed while she turned to glance at the two sri'nas behind them. "He's also betrothed to those two, he saved our lives, so we owe him a life debt!" She glared at Liliana who did take a step back. "He never once saved your life and you're also married, now stop acting like me, in front of me!"

"Wha…" Efrina cried in confusion.

Marchessa pressed her fingers to her forehead and moaned in aggravation. My sister hasn't acted like that in a very long time, it's no wonder where Alara gets it from…

Liliana ignored her de'tari's indignation and smiled with a very wide and conniving smile. "You have been gone for a very long time my dear," Liliana narrowed her eyes at her de'tari. "So you don't know this, but your idiot father went and got himself killed several decades ago…"

This made Alara frown, I don't know if I should be happy, or sad about that, she thought. The man was a disgrace! I still don't understand what mom saw in him

Liliana ignored her de'tari's turmoil and continued. "And your husband has just saved every Dark Elf in our city, in short…"

No, Alara, Efrina, Mirellia and even Marchessa all thought. She can't possibly.

"So in essence he saved all of our lives," Liliana smiled at her own cunning. "Therefore all Dark Elves owe him a life debt to Lord Veros! So states the law of the Gods, and I would hate to receive the wrath of the Gods by violating their laws." Liliana stepped up to Veros who was now seriously frowning. "Lord Veros, because you have saved all of the lives of the citizens of Loraine I offer myself in substitution in all of their behalves," Liliana pressed her hand to her chest while she offered him this proposal. "Would you accept the offer of this one in behalf of all of the citizens, I am from a noble lineage of that I can assure you…"

Veros raised his hand to stop her while a wild smirk appeared on his face. Clever woman, devious even but… he glanced at the Marchessa who was wide eyed and slack jawed at her sri'na's absurd proposal.

"I want Marchessa too," Veros nodded his head. "If she agrees then I will accept!"

Marchessa was beside herself and she even collapsed to her knees on the floor. I've never even thought about marriage and now an alien Dark Lord wants me… me… really? The woman they call the battle vixen, or the battle freak! It's like everyone thinks that all I do is train, or hunt monsters! I was hoping to find love on my own… but… Marchessa titled her head to look into the wild and crazy eyes of the Imperial Shadow Knight, Dark Master and Broken. He was smiling in such a connivingly evil way that it made her hair on the back of her head stand on end. She glanced at her older sri'na who was now eyeing her in such a way that made her one revealed eye twitch, there was such pleadful hope held within them that made her sigh.

"If you're fine with me," Marchessa went wide eyed in surprise when Veros vanished in a blink before she found herself wrapped in his arms.

"I promise to take care of you," Veros whispered in her ear. "I've sensed a great power from you, but it's locked right now. I actually know of another way to unlock it, but it is much more painful than sleeping with a being whose power is already unlocked."

"Veros," Efrina cried. "Are you really sure you want to get involved with the nobility…"

"Are you not satisfied with us," Mirellia pressed her hand to her chest. "master?"

"You two are really missing the point," Alara turned to step over to the pouting Dark Elf women who had yet to have their wedding ceremony. "Lord Veros,"— she nodded to the man who was still hugging her ari'thia. —"can unlock the blood inside of any woman that he sleeps with."

"What does that mean exactly," Marchessa asked while she returned the hug that she was receiving. He is very warm, she thought a smile slowly appearing on her face. Maybe this won't be as bad as I thought. "Alara?"

"For the love of…" Alara rubbed the bridge of her nose and sighed. "It means this…"

Alara's form was suddenly engulfed in flames of reds and violets, then all of the beings in the room were lifted into the air, including the two very disturbed guards that where watching all of this with baited breath on either side of the throne. They both dropped their spears making them clatter on the floor. Alara abruptly dropped both her indren'freth and her verse use making all of the beings she had held aloft abruptly drop.

Veros held onto Marchessa, so she was saved from the short fall, but the other Dark Elves knees, or craths were made a bit sore by the sudden drop.

"What was that," Liliana slowly got up while keeping her eyes on Alara.

"That," Veros let go of Marchessa and helped her back to her feet. "Was the power of the verse and her own indren'freth, or as most beings call it, the inner fire."

"The legend is true," Marchessa's ruby eyes widened while she too stared at her niece. "Once again the power of the ancients walks upon Baran once more…"

"And," Veros caressed Marchessa's cheek before walking over to Liliana and caressing her cheek. "All of you,"— he glanced at Efrina and Mirellia. —"will be able to use that same power too."

Veros removed himself from the throne room to go and retrieve his cloak. Liliana sat back down on her throne a very serious frown adorned her face.

"Mother," Alara placed her left foot on the first step of the dais and glared up at her mi'thia. "Are you really planning to go thru the marriage ceremony with Veros?"

"I am," Liliana glared back down at her de'tari. "I have already made up my mind… But I wish that I was the first Dark Elf to encounter such a man as that…" her eyes moved up ever so slightly so she could stare at Efrina and Mirellia they both swallowed hard behind their armored masks, but were still brave enough to walk over and stand behind Alara.

"What happens when Queen Discordia discovers Lord Veros," Marchessa asked worried. "If she hasn't felt that ancient power that he was leaking already?"

Liliana gave her a sharp dismissive wave. "Queen Discordia has abandoned the north, she has become too consumed with revenge toward the humans and their allies." She made a fist and slammed it on the armrest of her throne. "If it weren't for Lord Veros, Loraine would surely have fallen, its people enslaved, eaten, or scattered to the winds… if anyone even survived such an onslaught."

Her words and the feelings behind them made all of the Dark Elves in the room anger rise, even her two guards tightened their grips on their spears.

"Fuck Discordia," Alara folded her arms under her chest and spat. "I'd rather obey my husband who wouldn't abandon his family, than that bitch of thorns who can only focus on the south!"

"Veros is very family oriented," Efrina chirped and smiled behind her mask. "He only turned into what he is after his father was killed by an Orc Commander."

"Yes," Mirellia also nodded her head in agreement with her sri'na. "It was our fault that we led the Legion right to Master Johesh…" she frowned. "If it weren't for him and his TADs then my sister and I would have…" she trailed off and tears dripped from her eyes. She had to retract her mask because they obscured her vision too much. Efrina turned and embraced her younger sibling. "I've come to love Veros… he looks evil on the outside, but he's very kindhearted on the inside…"

"Why do you think I proposed to him," Liliana smirked. "Now that Discordia has abandoned us we need a new leader to rally behind and a Dark Lord from the heavens seems to be the perfect person to replace our heartless Queen!" Liliana spat the words much like Alara had done.

Liliana got up from her throne. "Now then," She eyed the two sri'nas. "Efrina, Mirellia I suggest that you two go and get a hot bath and prepare yourselves for tonight…" She gave the two very confused girls a pat on the head. "I will lend you both one of our finest rooms. I wouldn't want our husband getting bedded in some shabby hostel, or worse, one of the less savory brothels…"

The two women went wide eyed but nodded their heads in eager agreement. "Good then, follow me and we shall have something to dine on before you bath yourselves."

Veros scowled the entire walk back to the inner keep in the fortress city of Loraine. All of the Dark Elves that he passed along the way either gave him a deep bow of respect or at least a simple nod of the head and a smile. Several females gave him rather seductive looks, though he chose to ignore them.

Discordia, that bekrath, Veros made a tight fist. She gave this city to the orcs and other monsters in order to appease their appetites and for what… a mere reprieve, for how long? How long before their hunger for depravity kicks in yet again, a deronn, a mcronn, perhaps and onn, or two… Veros shook his head in disgust. One problem at a time Veros… He turned his head to the western mountains and narrowed his eyes. One problem at a time. A very sinister smile adorned his face.

Veros was getting rather strange glances while he walked the hallways of the keep. He overheard several Dark Elf males mutter several things about him that were rather unsavory to say the least. Veros didn't care, he did what he had to and if it meant taking on several wives then so be it.

I have no qualms about having multiple wives, Veros thought with a slight frown. Even though it is a very uncommon practice on my original home-world, it is encouraged among those on Zharaj. V, he has lots of wives and if Chaos and Eendril keep pestering him he'll probably have lots more… I still hate Zak and Kaz for taking him away from me… he would have been a much better master than Niells and his family… he ran his hand over his blood red hair and sighed.

One of the maids wearing a traditional Victorian maid outfit ran up to him when she spotted him. "Lord Veros," she softly spoke with awed reverence and even gave him a deep bow showing off her cleavage when she did. "I will take you to your room…"

"My room," Veros questioned, he had a very powerful mental barrier up if nothing else but to drown out that mess of dark negative energy that emanated from the mountains in the west.

"Yes," her violet eyes gleamed and a smile appeared on her pretty face. "I have been ordered by the Imperius Regent Liliana herself to take you there."

"Ah," Veros rolled his sinister and evil looking eyes, but it actually made the maid chuckle. "What is that conniving vixen up to now?"

The maid led him on in silence down one corridor, up a flight of stairs and then down another corridor. The lamps that lined the upper part of the walls turned on. Veros let out a low whistle again it made the maid giggle. The lamps were created from magic stones, they absorbed the sunlight during the deronn in order to light up at trell fall.

"The Night Elves on Devros use something similar to those in order to light up their never ending trell sky…" Veros's offhanded comment made the maid halt and even a few others stopped too.

"Did you say Night Elves," the maid turned and questioned with very wide eyes.

"Yes," Veros nodded while placing his fist on his hip. "I said Night Elves, they live on the planet Devros even though the planet is in Eendril's Universe it's actually run by the Grand Goddess Elindil and her husband the Grand Dark God Chaos."

The maid gasped and clasped her hand over her mouth while the other three Dark Elves that overheard him also gasped in shock.

"Elindil," one of the other Dark Elves ran up to Veros and got right in his face. "Did you really say that Elindil is alive? Are you sure?"

"Of course I'm sure," Veros eyed the dark green eyed male with the chain-mail shirt and black shorts. These Dark Elves are lacking anything close to fashion sense, he thought. "My friend Visage is married to a few of them and there are several hundred Night Elves serving in the Imperial Shadow Knights…" Veros closed his eyes, folded his arms and nodded his head a few times. "Judicators Le'Shara and her ber'nan Moonreth opened a Shadow Knight Training Center on Devros several onns ago, so there are quite a few Night Elves in our ranks…" Veros opened his eyes and snickered. "But if you ever meet Visage's twin wives Atharia and Asaria then run… run as far and as fast as you can…"

The other male Dark Elf swallowed hard before asking the question on all of their minds. "Why?"

Veros laughed in a way which unnerved all of the Dark Elves. "Those two are always… experimenting with the arcane arts and let's just say that their experiments don't always go the way that they want them to…"

"Oh," the male with the chain mail shirt nodded his head knowingly. "So, they're like that huh, Lord Veros?"

"I take it that you know somebeing like them then," Veros asked. All of the Dark Elves, they slowly nodded their heads.

Veros didn't mind stopping to chat with the Dark Elves who passed by him in the corridors, but when the maid left him standing alone in front of a very ornate door with a golden knob he became rather suspicious. The maid bowed to him once more again showing off her cleavage making him roll his eyes before she took her leave.

I'm not sure if she's doing that on purpose, or if that's just the way that these beings dress on this planet, Veros thought. I wonder if the Dark Elves think that I'm overdressed? Then again I am an alien so… what my perceptions of normal attire might be skewed according to this planet's norms? Veros shook his head closed his eyes, grasped the ornate golden knob and turned it.

The room was more than four times the size of the one he had on the Nightrunner, and at least five times the size of his room at the Iron Ingot Inn. There was a desk to his immediate right when he walked in and there was a good sized dresser butted up against the wall on his left a giant bed that had a canopy over it along with transparent curtains that were tied open was also on his right. Veros's dark red and amber ringed eyes widened when he noticed two very provocative forms lying on the bed.

The only light in the room emanated from the moon and stars that streamed thru the open double glass doors that led out onto a small terrace a light breeze wafted thru the open doors. Veros heard the door lock behind him making him frown.

"I feel like I've been set up," Veros muttered before turning to the two Dark Elf women on the bed. "Efrina, Mirellia, I hope that you aren't the ones behind this are you?"

The two naked Dark Elves sat up slightly their Gold and Violet eyes glowed while they looked back at him. The moonlight reflected off of their black hair and tanned skin making them look more like heavenly beings than Dark Elves. The seductive smiles that they were giving him made him shiver.

"No," Veros shook his head. "Neither of you would have been bold enough to do this… I sense Liliana behind this scene before me…"

"Are you not satisfied with us master," Efrina asked him, her ears noticeably drooping and a frown formed on her face.

"We bathed before you arrived, so that we would smell good for you," Mirellia started pushing her fingers together and she too was frowning. "Master… I thought that you loved us?"

Veros rubbed the back of his head while shaking it before letting out a lengthy sigh. "I have come to love you both… but now that I have Alara I wasn't sure if you two wanted to actually perform the marriage ceremony with me…" he frowned while eyeing the two gorgeous women on the bed whose frowns turned back into smiles and their ears lifted.

"If Alara thinks that she can have you all to herself…" Efrina declared.

"Then that bitch has another thing coming," Mirellia finished for her older sri'na.

They both wondered why Veros was still frowning. "Is there something else the matter master," Efrina and Mirellia both asked in unison.

"I have to warn you," Veros walked over to stand at the end of the bed. "There are consequences to what we're about to do… if you still agree… then I will do as you ask of me."

"You mean being able to use the verse and indren'freth… err… inner fire… like you do master," Efrina tilted her head and smirked.

"We've been prepared for that," Mirellia also beamed. "Master…"

"You'll have to start addressing me as husband in the menronn," Veros smirked back at them making their eyes go very wide and they even clasped each-other's hands in celebration.

Veros was becoming ever more tantalizing to the two sri'nas while he methodically removed his boots, cloak and when he pulled his shirt off their eyes really widened. Their soon to be husband's toned body made them wet their appetites. Efrina started licking her lips in anticipation while Mirellia didn't hold back and started rubbing and teasing her hardening nipples on her left navree while rubbing her vulva, she salivated at the impromptu strip tease that she was getting.

It didn't take long for Veros to pile his clothes and weapons on top of one of the chairs before walking over to the bed where two very turned on Dark Elves awaited him. They didn't even wait until he was completely on the bed before they both hungrily lunged at him. He went very wide eyed when Mirellia went for his cock while Efrina went for his lips.

Veros wrapped his arms around Efrina while Mirellia was too busy sucking him off. Mirellia seemed pleased that his penis became erect for her while she licked and sucked while her left hand groped his testicles while she played and rubbed with her vulva, soon she got brave enough to insert her fingers into her vagina and start to fully masturbate while she enjoyed her new husband's still growing organ in her mouth.

Are you two sure you've never done this before, Veros telepathically asked the two of them. Because you're quite good… and you're not as rough as Alara was.

Efrina slightly pushed away from him in order to catch her breath. "Would you like us to be a bit rougher master?"

Veros shook his head. "No…ohhhh…" he was caught off guard when Mirellia used her teeth and was gently but noticeably biting his shaft. "Mirellia please, I'm no Orc you don't need to bite…"

Mirellia didn't seem to notice, or care that Veros was speaking to her both audibly and thru telepathy. Veros slightly gasped when he noticed that Mirellia's eyes had those same glowing pink hearts in them that Alara's did when she lost her sense of reason during their iloni making session.

Mirellia did stop giving Veros fellatio a very depraved and disturbing smile adorned her face. Efrina was quite shocked when her sri'na shoved her aside and roughly pushed Veros down onto the bed before straddling him. The crazed woman shoved her tongue into Veros's mouth while at the same time shoving his very erect penis inside of her.

Efrina went wide eyed when she watched her usually calm and somewhat timid little sri'na become an absolute animal while she vigorously pumped herself up and down on Veros who also seemed rather startled by her behavior.

"She's enthralled," Efrina gasped.

She's what, Veros telepathically asked because the young Dark Elf kept her tongue entwined inside of his mouth so that he couldn't speak.

"It is also sometimes called enraptured," Efrina sounded panicked. "It usually happens to Dark Elf women who have been taken by Orcs or other monsters as breeding tools. It's like a defense mechanism, but it only ever happens under duress… this is the first time I've heard of this while being with a lover…"

Is that bad, Veros telepathically cried in alarm. I do not wish to hurt her!

"No, Veros," Efrina shook her head. "Being enraptured won't hurt her… in fact it is more like the opposite…"

Veros glanced at Efrina who was wondering what she should do, while her sri'na's mind was in such a state.

"She's basically in heat," Efrina shook her head. "And she'll be like that until she's been physically gratified…" She pressed her fingers to her head and sighed. "I'll have to wait my turn… I won't be able to stop Mirellia until after you've fulfilled her desires."

Alara also had the same thing happen to her, Veros informed her making Efrina go very wide eyed once more. Is there something wrong with Dark Elves… or is there something wrong with me?

"I'm sorry Veros," Efrina frowned. "I don't have an answer for that."

Mirellia continued to pound herself down on Veros covering his lower half with her blood and iloni juices. Veros hugged her while he continued to exchange saliva with her, she never once took a break or a breath which worried both him and her sri'na. Mirellia did arch her back and let out a very long and loud moan when Veros finally reached orgasm sending his neon pink jizz up into her uterus. After Mirellia's violet pink hearted eyes rolled into the back of her head she finally stopped pumping and collapsed into Veros's arms. Veros sat up and held her tight thanking Eendril and the verse that his wife had finally settled down. After making sure that she was breathing normally he rolled her off from him.

Efrina was a bit started to see the mess that her sri'na had made of both Veros and the bedspread. She was even more shocked when Veros got up and sat cross-legged in midair while he closed his eyes and started speaking in the Marcisian language. She didn't understand a word, but she gasped when she noticed that the air was charged with a strange energy.

Efrina was aghast when she saw Mirellia's blood along with her other bodily fluids lift up off of the bedspread and even off from Veros's genitals. The words that Veros spoke became more fervent and filled with even greater power while the blood and fluids formed a small sphere just beneath the palm of his outstretched hand. He flipped his hand face up while the now marble sized sphere solidified and glowed bright red with splotches of whites and pinks along its surface.

Wait, Efrina's golden orbs doubled in size when she realized what it was Veros was making. Isn't that a blood…

Gem, Veros telepathically finished for her. Yes, it is and this one is still…off… this is the second time that more fluids other than virgin blood was added to the blood gem… She heard and felt Veros sigh in lament. I think I might be doing this wrong…

Efrina also got off the bed to stand beside Veros who held Mirellia's virginity in the palm of his hand.

"Veros," Efrina eyed the glowing red and pink gem. "I think that it's perfect…" she leaned in and kissed him. "Now that you've finished making my sister's virginity into a jewel, would you like to make mine next?" She gave him a very seductive look.

Veros eyed Efrina before glancing at the now soundly sleeping Mirellia. "Let me put this away first…" He reached around her with his free arm and hugged her before kissing her in return. "Then I'll make one for you…"

Efrina sat back down on the bed, she gently stroked her younger sibling's damp hair that still smelled like the shampoo that they'd used. She took quick glances at Veros who was busy attaching a sliver chain to her sri'na's blood gem before placing it inside of a little box. The light that the blood gem produced was doused when she heard the top of the little box snap shut, the sound startled her a bit but the look on Veros's face made her smile.

Efrina moved herself to the left side of the bed so that her fluids wouldn't get mixed up with the fluids that Mirellia left behind and they'd also have more room to perform the marriage act.

Efrina grabbed onto Veros and held him, she wanted to take in her new husband's scent, she pressed her navree into his chest then clasped his hand, brought it to her lips and kissed it before bringing it down to her left navree. "Can you feel my heart pounding in yearning for you?"

Veros leaned over and kissed her forehead. "I do…" he whispered to her before tilting her head to kiss her lips.

I don't want this night to ever end, Efrina thought. I just want Veros to hold me like this… I feel so safe in his arms, if I hadn't run into Lord Johesh when those monsters where chasing us then I wouldn't be here in the arms of my love… I'd be…

Stop, Veros telepathically scolded his wife to be. Efrina, stop… I know that things would have turned out a lot differently if my dar'nra and I hadn't crashed on this planet. But please stop thinking about what could have been and concentrate on what is… I iloni you Efrina, I iloni your sri'na and I even iloni Alara as crazy as that sounds… I hope that I can learn to iloni Liliana, but I at least care for Marchessa… you Dark Elves have beautiful souls and I am honored to have you all as my wives…

Efrina started to cry under the moonlight and in the arms of a man from the stars. I am happy, she thought. I am safe, my sister is safe, my parents are safe, our village is safe and I have a husband now who I know will keep us all safe. I really don't want this night to end…

"Veros," Efrina whimpered. "Make love to me… make me your woman… I want to be your wife and please give me a child while you're at it?"

Veros frowned when the Dark Elf in his arms looked at him with such passion and longing in those golden orbs of hers, he thought that he might drown in their depths. "I'm sorry," Veros swallowed before he hugged her and whispered into her ear. "I don't know if I can have children, from everything that I've read about those who are broken, they can only have babies with those who are also broken ones…"

"Then," Efrina slowly shook her head and whispered her retort. "We'll just have to keep trying and eventually we'll prove that whoever wrote those books that you read… were wrong."
Efrina kissed Veros slowly at first, but then she too became greedy and more passionate. She gently, but forcefully pushed him down on the bed, her hands grasped his while they entwined their fingers. Efrina let go of his right hand so that she could grab the shaft of her husband's penis and eased it into her. Her iloni juices were flowing, but it was still quite painful for her she noticed the worried look on her husband's face.

"I'm alright," Efrina kissed him again. "I'm just getting used to having you inside of me…"

"Take your time love," Veros smiled up at her and caressed her cheek while tightening up his left hand around hers. "Take all the time you need. I'm in no hurry…"

Veros didn't like the way that Efrina winced while she slowly lowered herself on top of him, he could smell her blood which was more potent than the scent of her passion fluids. She cried out in pleasure and pain when she fully had him inside of her.

Veros threw his arms around her and kept apologizing to her. "I'm so sorry, I don't like hurting those that I love…"

"This is a part of being a woman," Efrina replied with a smile. "And now I'm officially your wife…" she kissed him while he stroked her back before playing with her left butt cheek, which did make her giggle despite the pain that was starting to subside.

"I think that I'm good now," Efrina whispered. "So would you like to move, or would you rather have me move?"

Veros went rather wide eyed at the question. He answered by wrapping his arms tightly around her, sitting up and slowly gyrating making her moan in pleasure.

"Emmm," Efrina cooed. "This feels really nice…"

"I'm always glad to be of service," Veros flatly, yet quietly remarked.

Veros sped up a bit after Efrina orgasmed a few times. She even started pumping herself up and down, but not at the same speed that her sri'na had when she lost her sense of reason to the pure pleasure. Veros reached his climax himself after a few more moments after Efrina climaxed.

Efrina was startled when she felt the warmth of Veros's ejaculate shoot into her. Instead of arching her back like Alara and Mirellia did she clung onto Veros and pressed her navree so hard into his chest that it connected their hearts. She was panting while she desperately held onto both her sanity and consciousness.

"Veros," Efrina stammered through her rapid breaths. "Will it always feel this way whenever we have sex?"

"I don't know," Veros replied sounding both worried and fearful. "I think you'd have to ask Alara, she didn't lose her reason the second time we had sex."

"I'll have to do that," Efrina slowly pushed herself off of her husband when she felt him lose his erection. "It feels like thousands of little pin pricks inside of me…and its warm… like a hot tea, or coffee on a cold night kind of warm and its spreading inside of me…" she sounded panicked. "Veros, I'm scared…" She glomped onto him again for comfort he held her in his arms until she did succumb to the land of dreams that beckoned her.

"Don't worry love," Veros kissed Efrina before laying her down next to Mirellia. "You'll be just fine when the menronn comes."

He caressed both Efrina's and Mirellia's cheeks before getting up and performing another virgin blood gem creation spell.

Again Veros was quite disappointed that Efrina's virgin blood gem also had a mixture of her other bodily fluids and even a bit of his own swirling around inside of it. With an exasperated sigh Veros went over to his U-gem, located anther mithril chain and blood gem jewelry box, attached the new gem to the chain and placed it inside of the small jewelry box. Veros watched the two sleeping beauties making sure that they were going to be alright.

Veros used the verse to unlock the door, before opening it. "Two down, two to go…" he muttered while closing his eyes in order to locate Liliana and Marchessa's rooms using the verse. He smiled when he felt that they were both relatively close by. Veros marched down the hallway completely naked, which made the two night guards and the one maid that he encountered blush crimson. He didn't mind the stares that they were giving him.

I have to get them bedded before tendronn, Veros grimaced. If I don't survive then there will at least be five verse and indren'freth users on this planet and I'm sure that Alara and Efrina will eventually figure out how my ship works and they can take the Dark Elves that want a better life off this godforsaken rock and back to the Empire…

Marchessa was sitting at her desk in the corner of her room, she was going over documents and new policies concerning the Tactical Assault Dolls, the giant siege tanks and the five hover-copters that Veros had brought with him.

Marchessa sighed threw the papers across her desk and rubbed her face with both hands. "With the amount of firepower that Veros has," she muttered. "If I were the Legion, or even that alliance that or whatever that Celestine Lucross is trying to put together then I'd be shitting myself right about now…" She groaned. "What the fuck was my sister thinking proposing to Lord Veros like that and dragging me along with her… seriously fuck…"

That's actually what I came here to do, Veros's sudden intrusion into Marchessa's room and mind made her spin around in her chair to face the imposing and naked man.

What, Marchessa blinked her ruby orbs several times to make sure that her mind wasn't playing tricks on her. "You mean…" Marchessa swallowed nervously while her eyes kept wandering over the man's toned frame before inevitably drifting down to eye his lower region. "You've actually come to my room to fuck me?" her words sounded both excited and scared in her own ears.

"I did," Veros nonchalantly crossed his arms over his chest and eyed the Captain of the Guard. "I need to awaken that sleeping power in you and Liliana before tendronn…" he trailed off.

Marchessa noticed that Veros looked, frightened, and worried. She got up from her desk and marched over to him. "What," Marchessa grabbed him by his shoulders. "What's going to happen tomorrow Lord Veros?"

Veros sudden frown and shake of the head made Marchessa all the more worried. "I might not live past tomorrow… there is something in the mountains to the west that needs to be taken care of… but I'm not sure that I'm strong enough to kill whatever the frak that thing is…" his sinister eyes were filled with fear. "I at least want to leave something for my wives in case I get killed…"

No… Marchessa lost her balance and almost tumbled to the floor. She caught herself but shook her head in disbelief. "You want to marry me just so that you can go off and get yourself killed?" She yelled at the man in front of her. "Veros you fool… I don't want to gain a husband and lose one in the same day! She glanced at the clock on the wall and realized that it indeed was a new deronn. "And what do you mean something for your wives? Why would you marry us just so that you can go and die on us?" She pressed her hand to her chest that was heaving rather hard she was so upset.

"I don't know if I'll actually die," Veros looked at her in such a way that made her heart ache. "But I'd like all of my wives to at least be able to defend themselves from whatever that thing in the mountains is… in case I fail." He sighed. "And if all else fails then you ladies can get my ship repaired, the TADs will help you with that and you can flee this planet, take my dar'nra's body back to the Empire and have him properly buried on Telos Three. Please Marchessa can you at least promise to do that for me in case I don't come back?" He went over and clutched her hands, squeezing them what appeared to her to be out of desperation.

"If I am your wife," Marchessa frowned while her one revealed ruby eye teared up. "I will do as my husband asks… but please, I beg of you don't marry me just to leave me… you're probably the only man on this planet that even wants to marry me!"

Veros hugged the distraught woman. "I promise you that if I survive then I will come back to you…"

Marchessa broke down and cried she slowly slumped to the floor, Veros accompanied her the whole way, he held her while she cried on his shoulder.

"My blood sorjin," Veros whispered into Marchessa's ear after she settled down a bit, though she was still whimpering. "If my blood sorjin stops working then you'll know that I've fallen, but if the blade still works then you'll know that I survived."

Marchessa nodded her head in understanding, she really liked his weapon and one of the main reasons why she wanted to become one of his wives was so that she could have one. Veros knew this of course, but again he didn't care, the woman had a very good heart and an even better head on her shoulders, when Liliana proposed to him, like he knew that she would, he made sure to include Marchessa in his counter proposal.

I'm afraid that I'll be taking all of the good ones, Veros thought. Sorry V, but there won't be many Dark Elves to take into your harem when you get here. With Chaos taking charge of this universe I'm sure that he'll try to set up his adopted Silvarian with a host of other women… just not these ones… these ones are mine!

Veros picked up Marchessa in a princess carry, she was shocked when he did, but then she wrapped her arms around his neck and enjoyed the ride. He placed her down on her bed and began removing her steel boots.

"Would you like me to remove all of your clothing for you love," Veros asked the wide eyed and smiling Dark Elf who nodded her head while she dried her tears on her arm.

Marchessa was so shocked to watch such a sinister looking man slowly remove her armor, before removing her clothing underneath.

These Dark Elves really don't have any idea what real armor was supposed to be, Veros piled what the woman considered armor which was nothing more than a pair of thigh high steel boots a pauldron on her left shoulder and a pair of gauntlets that only covered part of her forearms. The black V string bikini type thing that she wore just barely covered her modesty, Veros felt like these Dark Elves took lessons on clothing design from the Therosians, or even the Skelexians, but at least those insectoids wore lab coats at the very least. Veros shook his head in bewilderment while Marchessa lifted up her crath so that he could slide her clothing out from under her.

A very worried, but warm smile appeared on her face when Veros got on all fours and crawled up to her. He gently pressed his lips to hers while he used his hand to caress the back of her head.

"Wait, Lord Veros," Marchessa abruptly stopped him from progressing any further. She got up from the bed and walked over to the wall near the door to press a switch that turned off the lights. "If we are to do this, then we need to do this properly…"

Veros then frowned when he realized that he left his U-gem back in the room with his other two wives. "Actually I have to go and get something," he kissed her and gave her a quick hug before leaving the room.

"Oh," Marchessa chuckled. "He forgot to piss, before coming to see me…that would have been really bad if he unleashed a full bladder into me instead of his seed…" Her face turned crimson red at her own thoughts and words. She clasped her hands over her face while steam issued off the top of her head. Am I really that pent up… or, maybe I'm really a pervert? I've never been intimate with anyone before so Veros is going to be my first time… Oh I hope I don't screw this up… I can handle my sister making fun of me if I do, but I don't think I could handle Efrina, Mirellia and especially Alara if I do… I heard that the first time also hurts… I hope that Veros won't be too rough with me… though I've probably been in more pain when I was slashed by that troll… how long ago was that again… sixty years ago now? She shook her head. If it weren't for those eyes Veros would be perfect… I wonder if I'll be a good wife for him… what about my sister, she'll be his wife too! I don't want to have to share a husband with her, but he did save our entire city so, becoming his wife is the least that I can do and he's way better than being treated like a plaything to those ugly green-skinned pig-faces!

Veros returned, but he had a glove in his hand that had a green gem that was glowing slightly, he set it down on her nightstand, before once again joining her on her bed.

"Sorry about that," Veros apologized. "I can't very well create a virgin blood gem and not have something to store it in for you, after we're done."

That's right, Marchessa went wide eyed. He uses a blood sword and he's going to make a virgin one for me after we… Again her face turned crimson, though Veros couldn't really tell because the lights were off and there was only a miniscule amount of moonlight coming in thru the two windows.

Veros didn't understand what was wrong, so went over got back in the bed and he hugged Marchessa before he pulled her in close.

Marchessa was sensual and calm, a lot like Efrina was. She wasn't aggressive like Alara, or Mirellia were, she didn't go into a state of depravity like those two either. Veros and Marchessa were simply enjoying each other's company. They both let their hands wander over their bodies while they shared passionate kisses and even tongue wrestled a bit. Marchessa had her first orgasm before Veros had even entered her.

"I am so sorry Veros," Marchessa cried in abashed shame. "I didn't mean…"

"Shhhh," Veros placed his index finger over her mouth and smiled at her. "There is nothing to be ashamed of Marchessa my iloni… no… my love!" He kissed her and pressed his forehead to hers. "I know that this is your first time and it is my entire goal to give you pleasure… you are my wife after all."

No fair, Marchessa inwardly cried. Veros, you play dirty… calling my your love and your wife… I wasn't expecting that!

Veros kissed her making her silent complaints die.

"Wait," Marchessa gently pushed Veros away. "I've heard that it hurts the first time… but I've been told that there is a position that makes it hurt… less…" Marchessa got on all fours, but then reached back and spread her soaked and dripping vagina with her left index finger and middle finger. "Alright Veros," she looked back at him. "I think I'm ready for you…"

Veros tilted his head, scratched it, before he shrugged. "If you say so, love." He held onto Marchessa's thighs and slowly pushed his throbbing penis into her. She let out a muffled moan because she shoved her head into her pillow.

That feels sooo good, Marchessa thought. It aches a bit, but this is less than a getting a minor bruise or slight cut!

Veros being so close to her vagina got the full brunt of the scent of blood that made him rather queasy. He could even see the trickle of blood and iloni juices drip down onto her bedspread. Veros didn't like this position, nor did he like making another woman that he loved bleed like this, so with Marchessa's approval he started thrusting himself into her.

Alright, Veros thought. Her muffled moans are quite cute, but I still don't like this position. I like to look my wife in the eyes and feel the warmth of their hearts while we do it.

Veros couldn't help but smirk, her cute moans of pleasure that Marchessa gasped into her pillow was indeed very endearing. He still didn't like this position even though he continued to thrust himself into her making her orgasm two more times drowning his erection in her iloni juices that were flowing out of her. Veros winced at the smell when he noticed that there was even a bit more blood mixed in with the flowing viscous liquid. He felt that he was about to climax himself after a few more thrusts. He pushed himself as deep as he could go while Marchessa let out another muffled moan and orgasmed once more while he shot his hot glowing pink semen into her.

Veros had to quickly pull himself out of her when Marchessa fully collapsed onto her bed. He used the verse to roll her over, her large heaving navree were slowly moving up and down while she breathed, her eyes were closed and she was indeed asleep.

Veros had to push her body to the left a bit in order to fully uncover the nice wet spot of iloni juice and blood.

"Well," Veros rubbed the back of his head. "There's some good news, at least my seed isn't pouring out of her like the other's did."

Veros removed himself fully off the bed and sat cross-legged in the air. He closed his eyes and began the blood gem forging spell. "Blood is strong," he softly spoke. "Blood is weak." He spoke a bit louder and with more conviction. "It flows through us so we can move and speak.

Blood gives us life, its loss brings death." His voice got even louder. "But of those in the Zaharaj have unlocked the rest! God, in his wisdom give us mortals a test!" He was practically yelling while the blood stain on the mattress began to pool above his outstretched face down open palm.

"So, it's for us to prove our blood is best. Blood unshackled grants mortals power like the light from a blooming trell flower." The rest of Marchessa's blood siphoned off from the mattress and his own crotch. "Because darkness cannot abide, where this light does reside," Veros turned his palm over while the blood gem started to solidify. "let your blood shine forth don't let it hide!" A ripple of verse and arcane energy was sent out like a small wave after Veros finished the spell. The surge of the two energies startled those who were sensitive to such things when the wake washed over them while Marchessa's virgin blood gem fully solidified.

Veros opened his eyes the blood gem that was gently spinning while it floated a little less than an inch above his palm made him go very wide eyed. I did it, he thought while a wide smile adorned his face. This blood gem has almost zero impurities… I mean, yes, there are a few cloudy white spots on the surface but these are nothing like the ones on Alara's, Mirellia's and Efrina's blood gems! Veros glanced at the sleeping form of Marchessa who had rolled over onto her right side while Veros was forging her virgin blood gem. He looked at the blood gem before grasping it and bringing it to his chest.

I really do love her, he glanced at Marchessa his sinister glowing eyes lingered on the Dark Elf's naked form for a moment before he placed his feet down on the floor. He went over to the desk where he left his glove. He pulled out another mithril chain and an accompanying jewelry box. He attached the chain to the blood gem and placed it inside the box.

Veros put his glove on his hand, picked up the small jewelry box before going over to the bed and picking up Marchessa in his arms. Veros carried the sleeping naked woman back to his room where his other two wives were sleeping. He used the verse to open the door, quietly he entered the room. Veros gently placed Marchessa down on the bed beside Mirellia. He then went over to the dresser and placed her jewelry box down next to the other two.

That's three down and only one more to go, Veros thought with a frown. But Liliana was married already… I don't know what will happen if I marry her… With a heavy heart Veros eyed his three sleeping wives while grasping the doorknob. He grimaced and tightened his grip making an impression of his fingers in the knob before turning it and leaving the room. He glanced at the three women one more time before glancing at his two gloves that were resting next to the three small boxes that housed powerful blood gems within them.

"I love you," Veros smiled a very sad smile. "No matter what happens… I will always love you… Please remember that…" He walked thru the door and slowly closed it behind him.

A single chime sounded from the clock inside of Liliana's room when the door slowly opened.

A pair of very wide, fox like smiles adorned Liliana's and her de'tari Alara's faces when Lord Veros walked into their room. Veros went wide eyed in return when he saw not only Liliana, but Alara staring back at him from atop the very large bed.

"I knew that you'd come to me this night," Liliana's smiled even wider and her ruby eyes narrowed at him.

Alara started to giggle. "Because I was the one who told you that he would… moth-er…" she glanced at Liliana who scoffed at her de'tari.

Veros felt the sudden urge to close the door and run away. He once again tightened his grip on the doorknob in his hand making an indentation of his fingers. He swallowed a very nervous lump in his throat before he fully stepped into the room and closed the door behind him. A very disturbing tingle ran down his spine when he heard it lock, he glanced at the door then at Liliana who was lowering her hand while that smile of hers turned into one of triumph.

"If you think that you've somehow caught me in your little trap," Veros's feet lifted a few inches off the carpeted floor before he drifted over toward the large bed that would easily fit six or even seven full sized adults on it. "You are surely mistaken…" he narrowed his own eyes at Liliana, but gave Alara a passing glance too, making that mischievous smile vanish from her face in an instant, before he sent such blatant killing intent towards the two of them making them pale a bit.

He dropped his murderous aura and sighed, leaving both women aghast while they wondered why he was so perturbed at them.

"I am not into bondage," Veros flatly, but firmly stated while glaring at the two women. "Nor do I like being hurt by those who were supposed to love me…" his eyes turned toward Alara who hid her face by lifting her legs and hiding behind her knees.

"But can't we…" Liliana said undaunted. I want to try at least a few things with you… she thought while taking a pair of shackles out from under one of the pillows behind her. "I mean won't you let us…"

Veros held up his hand while pressing his fingers to his face. "Please tell me that you're not being serious Liliana? Please tell me that what you're both thinking is some kind of bad joke?" He gave them such a pained look that made them almost think twice about what they wanted to do with him, but that was it, only think, they didn't change their minds even after he sent such killing intent at them. "If you really want to do this then at least let this be a onetime thing?" He pleaded with them.

"I don't think that I'd be able to keep that promise," Liliana lowered the shackles in her hand and frowned. "I have what you'd probably consider to be a voracious appetite, and when it comes to my lovers…" she eyed him while tears welled up in her ruby red eyes. "If you do not want me because of my strange proclivities then I would not blame you Lord Veros…"

Veros held up his hand again and stopped her. "You may enjoy torturing those that you love, but I find the practice to be positively abhorrent!"

Liliana started weeping in earnest after Veros told her that and with such conviction in his voice she knew that he may look like a demon lord, but he was a demon lord with principles.

"But," Alara cried trying to come to her mi'thia's rescue while also trying to hide her own disappointment. "You were laughing while you were caught up in those massive explosions!"

"Yes," Veros pressed his hands to his sides. "But that was in the heat of battle, not in the bedroom!" He gave them a firm nod. "I am one of the Broken and a Dark Master that doesn't mean that I derive pleasure from pain, I was also channeling ungodly amounts of my inner fire at the time… or, have you forgotten that little detail my wife?"

Alara's eyes fell and so too did her ears. "I… I'm sorry… I thought…"

"Well you thought wrong, Alara…" Veros glared at her a moment before shaking his head. "Look," Veros cried making both women lift their heads to look at him. "If you only wish to bind my hands and frak the slith out of me… then I actually wouldn't mind…" He held up his hand in order to keep them quiet. "But I don't wish to be, burned by melting candles, clawed with your nails, or bitten in various places… teeth, do hurt you know…" he shuddered at the thought of being bitten by Alara during her throes of passion on their wedding trell.

"But you'd be alright with anything else," Liliana's ears perked back up a tinge of hope in her voice. "I mean could you at least wear…" she lifted the shackles once more. "These?"

Veros rolled his eyes. "Fine," he regretted his decision the instant he said that, because both Alara and Liliana were celebrating. Before Veros could even make any further protests, Liliana jumped off the bed, she suddenly had his arms behind his back and had clamped the shackles over his wrists. Using the chain that was attached Liliana hauled him over to the bed and pulled the chain thru a cut out in the headboard.

Veros found himself with his arms outstretched over his head while the two women eyed him like a pair of vultures that had found a fresh dead carcass in the desert. Veros closed his eyes and let the two of them do whatever depraved thing that they wanted to do to him, though they did at least keep their promise not to use their teeth, nails or other painful instruments that Liliana and Alara had in mind to use on him.

For two hours Liliana and Alara took turns ravishing Veros who took it like a trooper. Alara was the one who had removed the shackles from off of his hands, because her mi'thia was passed out on top of him.

"See,"— Alara smirked. —"wasn't that fun?"

Veros glared at his wife while rubbing his wrists in order to get the feeling back in his hands, they'd both gone very numb after the first hour of their heated session of love making. He glanced down at the top of Liliana's head, her two massive navree were pressed against him while she rested her head on his upper chest. The way that her body was rising and falling did make him smile despite all that she and Alara had done to him.

"Just don't make this a habit,"— Veros glared at Alara who held her fist up to her face and giggled at the way that he was staring at her. —"Alara…"

"I can probably keep my appetite for such things in check…" Alara glanced at her sleeping mi'thia. "But my mother…" She sighed. "For all of my father's shortcomings he would at least put up with her bedroom behavior…" She shook her head. "Honestly Veros I'm glad that he's gone! The man was an utter disgrace! He would sleep around on her and even brag about it to the soldiers! Then when my mother got angry enough at his antics she'd have to send my aunt Marchessa after him whenever he tried to skip out on her…" Alara leaned over to Liliana and kissed the top of her very moist head while Veros frowned upon hearing that and started to stroke the woman's back.

"I'd never try to skip out on my family," Veros angrily muttered. "No matter what the shortcomings of the males in the Empire may have, they would always remain loyal to their families, no matter how many wives some of them have forced upon them! They'd never go out and try to find other ilonies… or… lovers!"

"That was one of the reasons why we fell in love with you,"— Alara pushed herself up against his left side while her mi'thia partly occupied Veros's right, because her top half was on top of Veros's chest. Liliana's head was now resting on his right shoulder, because she moved a bit in her sleep. "Veros, you're a man with not only principles, but convictions. I kept hearing you either mutter words, or silently pray to your God Eendril and even Chaos whenever things seemed to look rather bleak…" Alara clasped Veros's free left hand with her own. "My mother probably felt that about you as well and I can't say that my brother will be happy about this situation when he finds out…" she leaned over to kiss him. " But, I certainly do…" she stroked Veros's cheek and chin. "I love you Veros my Dark Knight from the stars…"

Veros watched Alara fall into a state of satisfied rest. With one Dark Elf on top of him and another at his side he really didn't want to move. Veros wanted nothing more than to keep watching the two women under the glow of the moon and stars, but that moon was now getting rather low in the sky and soon the dawn would be upon them and he wanted to finish what he planned to do before any of his new wives were awake.

Veros frowned while he looked at Liliana embracing Alara who was also hugging her sleeping mi'thia in return. I really wish that I could have created a virgin blood gem for Liliana, Veros thought with a sigh. She might have some… interesting ways of il… no… love making, but she's still a good woman with a very good heart, she's led the people of this city for over one hundred onns, now Olga Discordia and whatever the frak that thing is that's hidden in the mountains want to destroy it… Veros scowled while he looked out the two glass doors that led out onto the large terrace. He narrowed his eyes toward the western mountain range his blood boiled at the mere hint of the ugly sinister mass of negative energy that the thing was producing.

"I'm going to kill you," Veros muttered with grave conviction. "I'm going to protect this new family of mine, in order to do so… you are the first thing that needs to die… Olga Discordia will join you right after I'm finished with you…" Veros turned the dented knob that was now a perfect match for his fingers and walked out of the room.

After slowly meandering the corridors, Veros met several new Dark Elves who gasped at his naked appearance when they first saw him, he told them that he'd just finished the marriage ceremony with Liliana making them go very wide eyed. Veros wasn't all that surprised at the thoughts that they had about it either: What the frak was he thinking, or, is this man out of his fraking mind, or how can he stand Liliana and her… strange hobby?

Veros told them all that Liliana wasn't a bad being, despite her strange bedroom behavior. He really shocked them when he told them that she also had a very good heart.

It took Veros a while to get back to his room that sheltered his other three sleeping wives. He lingered in the doorway and watched them for a moment, the moonlight streaming in thru the double glass doors made them look very much like sleeping goddesses in his eyes.

"I iloni…" Veros shook his head. "No… I love you all," he whispered. "Please remember that… no matter what happens… even if I…" He frowned while he glanced at the three jewelry boxes that held his new wives blood gems inside. I know that they'll put them to good use, he thought. Veros really wanted to remain standing there and just watch his wives sleep, but after a very long moment that felt like an eternity, with great agony Veros gently closed the door to their room and left.

A few more Dark Elves were shocked at not only Veros's nakedness, but the look of sheer grim determination that he was wearing on his face. He ignored all of the questions and inner thoughts of the very few Dark Elves that passed him by while he made his way out of the keep.

When Veros was outside of the keeps' main two gates and was standing on top of the large landing that led inside he tapped into his indren'freth and bathed himself in hot flames of blacks and reds. Veros was air-borne in short order after that. He flew back to his downed start-ship he shut off his indren'freth and ran passed all of the TADs. Veros practically threw himself down into the pilot's seat and started up the two engines that actually worked. The TADs did a good job in repairing engine three that turned out to be a rather easy fix for them.

"Master Veros," One of the TADs entered the big cockpit where his master was at the helm. "The Nightrunner hasn't been restored to full operation." The TAD warned him. "There is no way…"

"I'm not taking the ship into space," Veros turned his head slightly to the left to speak to the TAD. "I'm only taking MY ship closer to MY home where WE will have an easier time of both repairing it with the help of the Dark Elves and we can in return help defend Loraine from any further Legion attacks!" Veros pressed the lever to take the Nightrunner into the air. "Now shut the frak up and stop complaining it won't take us long to get there!"

"Yes," The TAD stammered a bit. "Master…"

Veros was correct, it didn't take long for the Nightrunner to fly and land on a large piece of flat ground near the east side of the Fortress City of Loraine. A few of the Dark Elves that were on guard duty all watched the large ovular metal ship land only two-hundred yards away from the giant wall that surrounded the city. Several of the dark sentinels turned on at the appearance of the ship.

The two guards watched the TADs in fearful awe when five TADs eyes glowed red and they all walked down the stairs in order to see what the ship was doing there.

Veros shut down the ship's systems before getting up out of the pilot's seat and heading for the cargo hold. A few TADs eyed him with caution, they knew that the man that had become their master was acting rather strange. Veros stopped to stand in front of one of the three TADs that were monitoring him.

"I don't have my mask with me," Veros tilted his head to look up at the seven foot taller metal being in order to look him directly in the optics. "What is your designation?"

"I am Tactical Assault Doll," The TAD pressed his metal hand to his mithril reinforced chest plate. "Z-zero-one-zero."

"I'll just call you Z," Veros eyed the TAD and crossed his arms over his chest. "Will that suffice Z?"

"As you wish," Z-zero-one-zero gave Veros a slight bow. "Master…"

"Excellent," Veros patted the TAD's left shoulder. "Now Z, please follow me!"

The TAD now designated Z did follow Veros, but the other active TADs were still monitoring him too, they didn't know what their master was up to, but they didn't like the look in the Broken, Dark Master's sinister, glowing eyes nor did they comprehend why the man was naked.

Veros led Z into the cargo hold where he walked down the many isles of war materials. Veros only stopped when he arrived at the place where all of the really dangerous ordinance was housed. The TAD, Z wasn't pleased while he watched his master lower the shielding that surrounded the very volatile and dangerous therimite tipped warheads. Then the TAD became even more wary when Veros actually removed the warhead off of the large missile and placed the large cone in his arms.

"Master," TAD Z looked at the cone then at Veros. "What is it that you want me to do with this?"

Veros turned the shield array back on before marching up to the TAD with the therimite warhead that was more powerful than fifteen nukes combined. "You don't get to ask me questions robot…" Veros narrowed his eyes at the TAD. "You only obey orders, got that?"

"Yes master," TAD Z would have swallowed nervously if he had any of the right organs to do so. TAD Z still sent out a signal to all of the other TADs about their master's actions. A few more TADs eyes glowed red when they turned on freaking a few more Dark Elves that were on duty when they suddenly started moving.

Veros didn't care about the looks that the other TADs were giving him he only told the TAD Z to follow him with the therimite warhead.

"Come on Z," Veros was getting rather annoyed with the TAD that seemed to be purposely lagging behind. "We're wasting time, we've got to hurry!"

"I am going as fast as I can," TAD Z replied. "This is a therimite warhead and it can be very temperamental, though I would think that you would already know that."

Veros grimaced and frowned. "Please! You should know that the safety mechanisms inside of those things makes it so secure that even Visage, or Riza could kick the thing into the upper stratosphere and it still wouldn't go off!" Veros turned on the TAD who was moving at what he considered to be a snail's pace. "Now stop fraking off and get a fraking move on already!"

TAD Z was trying to delay Veros who was acting out of character, all of the TADs were becoming worried about their master's state of mind. Some of the TADs were calculating if they should stop Veros by force, but the others outvoted them, they wanted to know what had the man spooked so bad that he'd use such a weapon like this.

TAD Z got even more worried and anxious when his master tapped into his indren'freth and took to the air right after they got outside the ship. The TAD seemed conflicted while he eyed the fire engulfed man in the air and then at the therimite warhead he was carrying.

"Master," TAD Z looked up into Veros's very disturbing glowing red eyes that were partially obscured by the black and red flames he was producing. "I need an explanation, what is it that you plan to do with this therimite bomb?"

Veros looked to the west a very troubled frown appeared on his face, even midst the flames that Veros was producing the TADs that were in the area all could see the look on their master's face while he stared off into the distance.

"We're going to use that to kill a dark god…" Veros calmly told the TAD. "Or at least try to."

The TADs all did tens of thousands of computations in their positronic brains right after Veros told them that.

"Are you sure that this will even work on a being such as that," TAD Z asked while again looking at the warhead in his arms. "Master?"

"I don't know," Veros looked down at the TAD with such a pained expression that the TAD was taken aback. "But I have a family now, and I need to protect them from whatever the frak that… thing is… whether it be a dark god, or a demon king… it needs to die! And I'm hoping that if I shove a therimite warhead down its throat that it will kill it!"

All of the TADs decided that their master's suggestion was indeed the best course of action. Without any hesitation TAD Z opened up his thrusters on his feet and on his back and also took to the air.

Veros flew just fast enough so that TAD Z could keep pace with him. They lowered their altitudes after they reached the mountain range that looked like the Rockies on Earth, or the Corcordians on Telos-three. The snow on the peaks reflected and gleamed brightly under the bright moon that was dipping ever lower in the sky. It would only be a few more mcronns before the sun would start rising in the eastern sky and chasing the moon down and eventually burry it into the western skyline.

Veros spotted a large gap in one of the mountainsides down below him on his right hand side. After putting himself in a steep dive TAD Z halted in the air before calculating an appropriate trajectory when he noticed where his master was headed. Even if the inertia dampeners and magnetic shielding were really good the TAD didn't want to jostle his very volatile cargo any more than he had to.

Veros hovered a few inches off the rocky ground. All of the snow in the area vanished in an instant when the fire engulfed man appeared. TAD Z came down behind him, after giving the TAD a slight nod Veros entered into the giant gap that led into a maze like tunnel. The TAD hovering a few feet behind his master looked at all of the enterences to severel different tunnels.

"Which way do we go," TAD Z's big red glowing eyes blinked. "Master?"

Veros closed his eyes and started for the second tunnel on the left. "This way… come on Z, follow me…"

"How do you know to go down that one," TAD Z lagged behind and blinked again. "Master?"

"Easy," Veros turned around and stared at his TAD. "This is the one that is producing the most sickly feeling…"

"I guess that's good enough for me," TAD Z hesitated a bit before following his master down the tunnel.

Even TAD Z was becoming more and more nervous, not only was he carrying the volatile warhead, but the deeper they went the less space they had to maneuver, not only that but even he was picking up very abnormally high readings of Zah'harrim energy thru his sensors the energy was increasing the further they went.

Veros sudden stop made the TAD really worried, he was staring down another tunnel that branched off to the right. Veros could see a very small pool of unbelievably dark liquid inside of the small cavern, the air felt stagnant and putrid while the place reeked of death and decay. The black pool in the room started bubbling and churning. Veros's eyes widened when he saw a giant hand emerge from the inky black stuff, it was shortly followed by another hand and then a head.

The full body of an Orc crawled out of the ooz and up onto the stone floor that surrounded the black stuff.

"A breeding pool," Veros scowled while eying the vial, filthy, liquid and the creature that it produced. He held out his hand and charged it with pure indren'freth along with some verse power for good measure.

"Master," TAD Z tried to prevent Veros from doing what he was doing. "I don't think that…"

The energy blast lit up the tunnel that they were in, before it entered and lit up the entire cavern in offshoot tunnel. The explosion was tremendous, Veros and TAD Z both had to fly away fast before the spot where they were was engulfed in flames. They could hear the scream of the Orc that the evil pool had just birthed.

Veros didn't care his eyes gleamed with such vitriol and rage while he continued down into the depths of the planet where the quarry that was undoubtedly the orchestrator of all of this evil awaited them.

The two beings passed by several more breeding pools, so Veros sent energy blasts at every single one that he saw the explosions that he caused rocked the very foundation of the planet's crust, again he didn't care. He didn't care if the whole place collapsed down on top of him, he didn't care about the cracks that formed in the walls, stalactites and stalagmites that permeated the maze of networking tunnels, shafts and caverns, his anger blazed hotter the closer he got to whatever it was that awaited him was making the very planet sick and he was more than determined to be the cure.

Veros realized that they were getting closer to the source of the planet's sickness, the very air had turned into a noxious purple vapor, that looked like a smog it was so thick. Veros's flames kept the purple smog away, but his TAD had to fly thru the thick inky purple stuff. The smog didn't do anything to the TADs metal body, but it was messing up his ocular sensors impairing the robot's vision. TAD Z had to switch to infrared and acoustic sensors in order to keep track of his, and his master's locations.

Veros's fire engulfed body entered into a giant hollowed out cavern that was roughly half the size of his ship's cargo hold. Veros broke thru the layer of putrid purple miasma that rose into the upper part of the cavern. He could see the stalagmites below him were shaped like huge jagged teeth there were skeletal remains of various creatures that littered the floor between the stalagmites. Veros was further enraged when he noticed that there were Human, Elvin, Dwarven and several other races he didn't recognize among the remains that littered the place.

TAD Z emerged from the miasma to hover behind his master. His optic sensors scanned the massive graveyard below them.

"Master," TAD Z scanned the whole cavern. "After measuring the size of this cavern, I calculate that there over twenty thousand remains of differing species below us."

Veros was too distracted to really hear what Z had said, he was gaping at a stone altar that was covered with blood the red liquid was pooling around the sides. The sheer ugliness of the thing made Veros's heart pound in his chest while he clenched his teeth and his fists.

The altar was situated on a platform that led up to another even more sickly looking alter.

"No," Veros stated aloud. "Not an altar… a tomb…"

The big stone coffin was where the putrid purple miasma came from, the stuff was pouring out from the seams between the lid that was laden with over two dozen glyphs and wards along with an untold number of runes. All of the wards were glowing a dark purple color, though some of them had partially dim spots on them.

The Zah'harrim and arcane mixed and coalesced around the top of the coffin. Veros lowered himself in front of the tomb, when the miasma swirled before forming into the face of the biggest and ugliest Orc that he'd ever seen. A pair of glowing neon green eyes opened on the thing's face made out of the miasma.

"Who dares disturb me," A voice that carried like a sharp wind and vial like that of a rotting garbage dump yelled at the undaunted fire engulfed man and machine that stood behind him. "I am…"

"Fraking ugly as sin…" Veros interrupted the creature's tirade.

"Who would dare,"— A torrent of miasma was hurled at Veros, but his flames extinguished it all when it got near the black and red fire that surrounded him. —"intrude into my tomb and insult the dark god Ragnos?" The big green eyes of Ragnos brightened.

Veros scoffed with a snort, before crossing his arms over his chest. "The Imperial Shadow Knight Veros does!" Veros yelled into Ragnos's face made of miasma.

Ragnos didn't seem to know what a Shadow Knight was, this fire engulfed man was just another sacrifice to add to the multitude of others that would eventually bring him back to life and rule over all of the lands once more with his armies of demons and monsters.

Veros lowered himself down to stand on the dais where the sacrificial altar to this self proclaimed dark god was. Veros's anger made his flames grow larger. He had grown to absolutely hate this thing in such a short time that he really wanted to detonate the therimite bomb and be done with it, but he wanted more information from this thing first.

"I know a true Dark God," Veros glared thru his flames up at the head of Ragnos. "His name is Chaos!"

Ragnos's right glowing green eye actually twitched when the fire engulfed Veros spoke that name.

"Now you Ragnos claim to be a dark god," Veros spat. "You're no god, you're a pretender at best, I can sense your power and even I outmatch you… sure you can use a lot of arcane energy and you can manipulate quite a bit of the Zah'harrim, but you have zero indren'freth and pale in comparison to even a Meserino Demon!"

Ragnos's eye twitched yet again when Veros yelled and pointed up at him.

"You…" Ragnos's glowing green eyes narrowed at Veros, his eyes went really wide when he could see that the only thing that the man was wearing were the very dangerous flames that surrounded his body. "What are you?" Ragnos's curiosity was piqued by this strange man.

"Why should I tell some being whose about to die," Veros turned his head around to look up at Z.

There is no way that this Veros creature could kill me, Ragnos thought while he continued to watch the flames surrounding the man continue to grow and even intensify.

TAD Z lowered himself and placed the therimite warhead down near his master. While Veros watched his TAD he noticed a large crystal formation on the far side of the platform, he narrowed his eyes at the very out of place crystal formation. Veros being overcome with intrigue flew over to the formation. His eyes went really wide when he could see, there within the crystal formation a scantily clad elf woman her white bra and matching panties that were partly covered by a tan belt that had a sheathed dagger and a pair of small pouches attatched to it. The Elf woman's sapphire eyes were big and filled with fear, her skin was fair. The frozen woman's hair that looked like it was suspended in water before it had solidified was a mix of bluish gold, her arm was outstretched in front of her as if she were trying to stop somebeing from doing something, or save somebeing in front of her.

Ragnos was watching Veros with ever growing curiosity of his own, but there was also a sense of unease mixed in.

"Alda the mighty High Elf noble bitch from Southern Eostia," Ragnos scoffed. "The final member of the hero's party!" he started laughing. "She tried to stop Alphons from attempting to destroy my tomb seven centuries ago, but she got trapped within her own magic spell! Now here she remains dead to the world leaving only her frozen corps behind as a memento of their heroic party's utter failure!"

"Oh," Veros turned around to glare at the boasting self proclaimed dark god. "So much you know," He snorted. "She's not actually dead! She's merely in a state of suspended animation." Veros turned around to narrow his eyes at the crystal formation. "In the Empire while we travel long distances between worlds we use a similar technique, but ours is based on cryo-freezing not crystalline encasing, though I have heard that the Night Elves on Devros did use something similar to this technique back in the day…" Veros actually rubbed his chin in thought before shrugging and going back to studying the crystal once more.

Ragnos couldn't believe what Veros told him. She… that High Elf isn't dead… Impossible, he thought his green eyes glowed brighter for an instant. There is no way that she could have survived stuck in there for all of those centuries… could she?

Veros smirked when he figured out the weaknesses in the crystal's patterns.

"Oh, yes…" Veros raised his arm and pressed his fire engulfed hand against the smooth crystal that actually started melting under the heat of his flames. "She's very much alive and I'll prove it to you right now!"

Massive cracks appeared all along the crystal's surface, the crystal shattered a moment later sending a shower of varying sized crystal chunks out into the chamber. Ragnos's glowing green eyes doubled in size when he saw and felt the raw power that Veros had unleashed when he broke the crystal that was supposed to be unbreakable.

The High Elf woman slowly slipped from her encasement she was about to hit the floor, but Veros caught her with the verse he then turned to his TAD.

"Z," Veros levitated the unconscious, but breathing High Elf over to the robot who accepted her in his arms. "Take her back to the Nightrunner as fast as you can, she's been in suspended animation for centuries, so I don't know what, if any of the side effects might be!" Veros pointed up at the tunnel thru the thick miasma. "Now go!" He ordered. "And don't let her breath in too much of that purple slith!" Veros yelled up at his TAD who was already retreaving a small metal earpiece out of his own U-gem and placing it in the unconscious High Elf's right lengthy ear.

TAD Z didn't enter the cloud of miasma until the mask fully solidified over the face of the woman he was now carrying.

Veros smiled while he watched TAD Z vanish into the mist.

"Now it's only you and me," Veros smiled a very sinister smile. "Ragnos…"

Ragnos didn't know why Veros was smiling like he was while he fiddled with the big conical object that his metal golem was carrying. He didn't even understand the significance of the numbers that appeared on a small screen that was hidden by a metal covering that Veros had removed in order to reveal it.

Ragnos watched Veros press a few buttons on a panel underneath the screen that displayed the foreign numbers that started to quickly count down.

"Now let us see if you can survive this," Veros started laughing in such a way that made the self proclaimed dark god very unnerved.

"What is that thing," Ragnos demanded to know. "Why are you laughing like that? What are you?" He yelled the same question that Veros really didn't give a full answer to before.

"Me," Veros glared up at the face of Ragnos that was growing more and more frightened every time the therimite bomb beeped after another dironn went by while it counted down to the time of detonation. "I am Veros," Veros yelled up at the menacing looking face that was looking ever less menacing when the bomb beeped again. "I am an Imperial Shadow Knight from the Galaxy Firaxia! I am one of the Broken ones! And according to Chaos's Dark Archangel Vlad the Impaler AKA the former Lord Baltrix, I am also one of the few Dark Masters in the cosmos!"

Ragnos didn't understand everything that the man said, but he did understand enough.

"Please Dark Lord Baltix," Ragnos seriously butchered what Veros had told him, but he was much too disturbed to know that. "Please don't do whatever it is that you're planning on doing!"

The bomb beeped again making Ragnos right eye really twitch. "I will make you a war lord and you can help me conquer this planet!" He yelled in alarm the bomb beeped again. "No I'll give you all of the women that you could ever dream of! What about that?"

Veros raised an eyebrow behind his burning red and black flames. The bomb beeped once more while Veros didn't even attempt to stop it.

Ragnos was growing ever more nervous and desperate. "I, I'll submit myself to you Dark Lord Baltrix please teach me your ways!"

"Why," Veros placed his hands on his hips while he levitated himself up to where Ragnos's ugly miasma face was. The bomb beeped again. "So that you can betray me later and try and kill those that I've come to love… I think not!"

The bomb beeped again.

Ragnos understood that every time that he heard the noise coming from the conical thing it meant that he was one step closer to oblivion.

"I know I'll stop all of the monsters from hurting any of your friends and family," Ragnos pleaded in desperation. The bomb beeped once more.

"Not going to happen," Veros smiled a very sinister smile, the flames around him seemed to even dance in eager anticipation for that final countdown.

"If I die," Ragnos yelled. "Then you'll die with me! Are you really going to sacrifice yourself like those idiot heroes did all of those centuries ago!"

Veros shrugged. "If I die, I die…" he started laughing. "But I'm going to make sure that you do as well!"

The bomb made that sound again. Ragnos's fear was growing with every passing moment he didn't know how many more noises that the thing was going to make before the inevitable happened and he really didn't want to find out he started reaching out to all of the monsters that he could sense and bring them there to kill Veros and to stop that cone thing from making any more noises.

The monsters feeling their god's beckoning to them halted everything that they were doing even if some of them were either in the middle or about to start to have some fun with the women that they captured. Most of the women were grateful for the chance to get away, but others grabbed the closest sharpest object they could find in order to end their own lives.

Veros felt the panic that Ragnos was in and that only made the mad Broken Dark Master ever giddier, not only that but a hoard of monsters was now on their way to stop him. He glanced at the timer on the therimite warhead.

"Plenty of time to kill," Veros smiled and laughed at his own pun. Veros ignored Ragnos's ramblings and half hearted promises, he merrily hung out in the air while he waited for the first of the monsters to show up. Veros would then unleash a powerful blast of indren'freth at them and blow them to smithereens.

Here I was expecting some giant horde to come at me, Veros thought with a sigh of disappointment and a shake of the head. But all I get is a small trickle of one to four at a time… this self proclaimed dark god is really nothing compared to Chaos. He frowned while he launched another small sphere of condensed energy at a few more monsters that appeared thru another tunnel. The resulting explosion caused the tunnel to collapse and crush all of the monsters that were filing down that tunnel in order to reach their dark god's chamber.

Veros and Ragnos could both feel the cries and shrieks of fear when the tunnel caved in and crushed over two hundred of Ragnos's followers. Veros smirked and laughed loudly making Ragnos ire really rise, but it was swiftly doused with fear when the bomb beeped again.

The sun was cresting over top of the mountain range in the distance. A single TAD flew over the still slumbering fortress city of Loraine before landing in front of the now more stable Nightrunner that was sitting on solid ground, the ship's landing struts were sunk several feet into the soft earth.

TAD Z shut down his jet thrusters and slowly walked up the ramp in the back of the Nightrunner's cargo hold. He swiftly strode down the long corridor before entering the medical bay. TAD Z placed the unconscious High Elf down on the same bed where Johesh had died.

The two Medical Dolls activated when the High Elf's body was deposited on the operating table. TAD Z removed himself from the room after his mission was complete. He went back to his duty of fixing the ship, that still needed a lot of work. While TAD Z headed for the roughly patched hole on deck three he informed all of the other TADs what had happened to their master and he also informed him about the High Elf that he was ordered to take back with him.

Do you think that our master can really survive a therimite blast, one of the TADs asked over the network.

None of the TADs had an answer, there was a lot of unknowns when it came to not only those who were of the Broken ones, which if the written legends were true about them then they could only be killed by anther Broken one. Veros wasn't only a Broken one, several of the TADs protested. He was also a Dark Master, which was supposedly one step away from true godhood, if those legends also held any truth to them.

None of the TADs had much if any data on Broken ones, and even less on Dark Masters, what they did have was an abundance of information concerning Light Warriors which records consisted of at least eight beings in their galaxy and as far as Light Warriors go they were damned near indestructible.

While the TADs silent debate was going on, several Dark Elf women woke up from their slumber. Efrina, Mirellia and Marchessa who was shocked to find herself waking up to the two younger Dark Elf women who had undergone some rather ridiculous changes during the trell. Their hair had gone from black to dark purple that turned crimson at the tips. They were quick to point out that Marchessas's hair had actually done the same. They also discovered that their navree had increased in size, they could feel that their chest muscles had grown thus pushing out their chests further than they were originally, thus the size increase. They could also feel the verse and even tap their indren'freth just like Alara could after spending the trell with Veros.

The three of them were all very giddy when they picked up their jewelry boxes and draped their respective blood gems over their heads and around their necks. Efrina and Mirellia got dressed, while Marchessa headed back to her room in order to do the same. She found it hard to find anything that would fit her new form so after much rummaging she managed to find a pair of black leather pants and a black halter top that showed a lot of skin. Marchessa wanted to show off to both her sri'na and her new husband.

Marchessa's eyes widened and watered when she remembered what Veros had told her that trell. He might not make it back, she thought. With tears still raining from her eyes she headed back to the room where Efrina and Mirellia were awaiting her arrival. Marchessa was met by both her sri'na, Liliana who had also gone thru her own drastic transformation and her niece Alara who was wearing her Marcisian Armor that their husband had given to her.

Liliana was prancing about proudly in her birthday suit and showing off her new body to everybeing that she met. She was looking forward to getting her own Marcisian Armored suit like those that her de'tari and the two sri'na's Efrina and Mirellia had, though their suits now seemed to look a bit on the small and tight side.

The two Dark Elf sri'nas didn't mind squeezing into their suits, they all knew that their husband Veros had a crates full of the things on his ship.

A very disturbed Dark Elf ran up to Liliana, he was too rattled to really even notice that the Regent wasn't wearing anything before he told them that Veros's ship had landed in the very early menronn and was now only a few hundred yards from the Eastern Wall of the city. All of the city watch that were on duty were busy gawking at it along with the many TADs that were busy working on fixing it.

All five of Veros's wives ran out of the keep and ran as fast as they could to the top of the Eastern Wall. There they were met by four score of the Dark Elf Knights and city watch they were all gawking at the star-ship that was really only a short distance away. The ship looked like a massive cylindrical, yet somewhat ovular shape. The metal was so smooth and reflective that several Dark Elves had to look away wherever the sun caught it just right, it was so blinding.

All five Dark Elf women were so shocked by the vessel that they didn't feel the black pit like thing that emanated from the western mountains. When the excitement of Veros's ship wore off they did feel the self proclaimed dark god's presence and the four women who didn't know how to put up mental barriers like Alara did, because Veros showed her how, as one the four women turned to the west.

"What is that," Efrina cried in alarm.

"I don't know," Mirellia hugged her sri'na. "But whatever it is it feels grotesque!"

"That's not quite how I'd,"— Marchessa held herself and shivered. —"describe this feeling!"

The five women all walked around the perimeter of the wall and stared over the parapet of the western one. They all felt a familiar feeling while they squinted their eyes at the mountains in the distance.

"Veros…" Mirellia cried in alarm. "I sense Veros…"

"But…" Efrina turned to the three older Dark Elves. "Why did he leave his clothes in our room… does that mean that he's facing that sickening darkness in the nude?"

Marchessa went really wide eyed and before any of the other women could ask her what is wrong she bolted for the stairs. Marchessa was heavily panting while she ran dodging the few Dark Elves that were up so early in the menronn while she headed back to the keep. She practically flew up the stairs and forcibly pushed one of the giant brass doors open she ran thru the hallways almost colliding with one of the maids that had stepped in front of her along the way, but she deftly dodged her by sidestepping and spinning. Marchessa ran up the three flights of stairs and down the hallway, she threw open the door to Efrina, Mirellia and Veros's room she was gasping for breath when she slowly reached down and picked up Veros's blood sorjin. She could feel the powerful blood gem inside of the weapon.

Marchessa held the precious blood sorjin to her chest for a few moments before she ran back out the door.

Marchessa reappeared behind the four Dark Elves who all had wondered where she had gone. She startled them by showing them Veros's weapon.

"What are you doing with Veros's blood sword," Alara placed her hands on her hips and narrowed her ruby red eyes at her ari'thia. "aunty Marchessa?"

Marchessa was about to answer…

Deep inside of a cavern Veros watched the last ticks of the countdown. Ragnos had noticed the ever growing crazy smile that had appeared on Veros's face even thru the flames he could tell that whatever he was waiting for was about to happen.

Veros suddenly turned to glare up at Ragnos. "Boom," he muttered, before the sound of the last beep on the therimite bombs timer had reached zero.

The safety around the therimite inside of the bomb broke and a small black hole formed and then grew at an exponentially fast rate. Veros was still cackling when the black hole devoured everything in the room.

The black hole imploded in on itself and the resulting explosion made the entire mountain range jump several yards up into the air and sent a shockwave out into the world. If the planet had a richter scale the needle would have jumped to over seven. The planet shook while the mountain range settled back down only to have a large portion of it shoot up once more. The therimite explosion along with the earthquake made the planet rumble. A giant mushroom cloud formed along with a flash that was many times brighter than a noonday sun.

The display of power was seen even from further south than Ken, most of the residents of Eostia both heard, saw and felt the force of the therimite warhead detonating under the northern range.

The Dark Elves that had a front row seat to the detonation were thrown onto their backs and violently pushed against the opposite parapet atop Loraine's western wall. Parts of the wall cracked and even buckled under the pressure of such force. The very trees bent and some of them even broke under the stress of the massive shockwave that the detonation had caused. The mushroom cloud kept rising and ever expanding a rain of black ash started falling. The ashen flecks even rained down on the fortress cities that were still in the process of being built, their names were Ken, Rad, Ansur, Thorn, Geofu, Ur and Foeh which was the closest city fortress besides Loraine, but their walls weren't as strong, their northern wall completely collapsed while its eastern and western walls were severely damaged when the shockwave tore thru their city.

Efrina, Mirellia, Marchessa, Alara and Liliana all got back to their feet, their jaws dropped while they looked up into the gargantuan mushroom cloud that was raining ash on their dumbfounded heads.

"Wait," Mirellia cried in shock her eyes ever widening. "Don't tell me that Veros was in the middle of that…" she pointed up at the towering mushroom cloud that now had noticeable bright purple colored lightning running up and down along its axis.

"That's…" Efrina shook her head. "No…" she whimpered. "He wouldn't leave us like that… would he?" She turned to Marchessa who was still clutching Veros's blood sorjin in her hand.

Liliana's legs gave out on her. "I've found a new love… and now he's gone too…" tears poured from her ruby orbs. Alara got down and hugged her mi'thia.

"Veros," Marchessa also started crying and was joined by the rest of the others. "You fool!" Her head slumped down and she looked at her boot covered feet while her tears and ash fell on them. Her vision blurred so badly that soon she couldn't make out anything at all and was drowning in her sorrow. She gripped the blood sorjin in her hand a bit tighter and accidently turned it on. The dark red blade with the ice white center illuminated all of those that were in the vicinity.

"Wait," Marchessa realized what this meant. "Veros is still alive…"

All of the women turned to Marchessa their eyes glittered with the slightest tinge of hope.

"Are you sure," Efrina cried while getting back to her feet. "Marchessa are you sure?"

"Veros told me that I would know if he died," Marchessa held up the blood sorjin, "then the blood gem that powered his sword would die too."

The bright glowing dark red beam gave them the hope that they all needed in order to wait for his return. They all looked up at the mushroom cloud that loomed overhead.

This will pass, and Veros will return to us, the five women thought while they looked forward to that deronn.

Ragnos didn't understand where he was, it was nothing but an empty blackness all around him, no matter which direction that his ugly face looked. He did like the fact that he had a fully formed body once more, but he soon realized that it wasn't corporeal, there was no feeling in it what so ever he was more like a ghost or a spirit.

Ragnos was startled to hear that crazed laughter, he kept trying to look around for where the laughter was emanating from, but the emptiness around him messed with his senses.

When the laughter grew louder he saw something that resembled a mouth off in the distance. Ragnos's glowing green eyes widened in horror, the mouth wasn't a normal mouth, nor was it a normal size. This mouth was filled with rows upon rows of jagged razor sharp teeth. There were twelve tongues that were flicking and lashing about when the mouth that was ten times the size of Ragnos himself who was over ten feet tall, green skinned and ugly as sin with a pot belly, sausage arms, hands, legs and feet, his only real redeeming feature was his foot long member, but that had shrunk back up inside of him in its own desperate attempt to get away from the mess of teeth and lashing tongues that was bearing down on him.

"Here piggy, piggy, piggy," the mouth muttered between its wild cackles. "I want pork for dinner… the other white meat…" the mouth started its crazy cackling again.

Ragnos tried to run, but he didn't know which direction he should go… then the twelve grotesque tongues wrapped around him. The self proclaimed dark god screamed that sounded more like a high pitched squeal when the tongues dragged him towards the giant maw filled with cutting teeth.

Ragnos squealed his last while he was sliced into pieces like bacon and then swallowed. The giant maw turned into a bright mix of red and black flames and soon the very happy and still laughing zombie like version of Veros appeared in the midst of those flames. He let out a long and loud satisfying burp before he powered down and patted his belly.

"One self proclaimed dark god," Veros smirked while his skin was still reforming and healing. "Devoured…"

Veros suddenly turned when he felt the gaze of a true God of Darkness fall upon him. Chaos's two very angry glowing red eyes appeared out of the darkness of the void a rather conniving grin adorned his face while he looked at the Broken Dark Master who was still in the process of recovering from the therimite bomb's detonation.

"Ah," Chaos smiled in recognition of who he had stumbled upon while gazing into his new domain. "Veros, so you have become a Dark Master and one of the Broken ones just like your dear old dar'nra told us…"

"Chaos," Veros folded his still healing arms over his still healing frame. "What can I possible do for my least favorite God in the universe?"

Chaos flashed the healing man another conniving grin. "Oh, I think I'll be able to think of something…" Veros winced when he heard Chaos pound his fist into his palm. "I know, why don't I send you over to that other fun little planet and play with that slime and his friends for a bit while you wait for the portal that you just created to finish stabilizing on that planet that you were on… sound good… hmmm?"

What, Veros thought. The therimite bomb that I detonated caused an actual stable temporal rift? Connecting Eostia to another planet?

"Yes," Chaos flashed Veros that irksome smirk of his once more. "You have quite literally ripped that poor planet a new crath hole… I'm so proud!"

Veros could tell that Chaos was wiping a fake tear from his very evil looking eyes. Veros had opened his mouth in order to protest, but then a giant index finger and thumb appeared. The pair of digits were twice the size of the mouth that Veros had used to swallow the deranged soul of the self proclaimed dark god Ragnos.

"Chaos fraakkkk yyyyoooouuuuuu…" Veros yelled when he was suddenly flicked by Chaos's index finger sending the poor incomplete man tumbling end over end while he sailed thru the void.

Veldora, the mighty Storm Dragon was resting in his room that resided on the very bottom floor of the Labyrinth under the nation of Tempest. He had one leg draped over top of the other while he read a new series of Manga that Rimaru had given to him. Veldora was content while he snickered at the antics of the protagonist that he was currently reading about.

"Now I wonder how he'll get out of that one," Veldora smirked while he grabbed a few potato chips that were in a bowl that was resting on his very toned stomach. Veldora was about to turn the page when he felt a very strange energy ripple thru his cavern floor. Curiously getting the better of him, he placed a marker on the page, closed the book with a loud snap and removed the bowl of chips off his belly before sitting up. He got up off of his comfy sofa to see what was up.

Veldora scratched his golden haired head while he searched the floor both high and low, but he couldn't pinpoint where that strange energy had originated.

"Well," Veldora folded his arms, tilted his head back and laughed. "Perhaps it was only my imagination playing tricks on me!"

"ooooouuuuu," the sound that wasn't from Veldora's imagination emanated from a blur of a strange looking being that whizzed by him. Veldora turned his head to see a large purple ring of energy that had a very dark and sinister looking hole in it.

"A temporal rift…" Veldora cried while a very excited grin and gleam in his eyes adorned his face. "How long has it been since I've actually seen one of these?" He pressed hand up against the purple energy ring. "Eouch," he cried while he wrung his stinging hand that was sizzling where he touched the portal's outer energy ring. "Oh, not stabilized yet…" Veldora glanced at the portal one more time before turning to the uninvited guest that had blown right by him without even saying a hello, or any sort of greeting for that matter.

"Frak you Chaos," Veros sat up while his eyes were still spinning. "That's the last time I detonate a therimite bomb while I'm standing next to it…"

"Excuse me," Veldora stood over the still reeling man that had abruptly entered his private room and floor where he was the floor guardian. "But you are one rude fellow you didn't even say hello when you came charging into my floor which also happens to be my room!" Veldora bent down to look the man with the pair of red and gold glowing sinister looking eyes. Veldora was actually taken aback for a moment when he also noticed that the man was one, very naked and two, healing up from very grievous looking injuries.

"Well excuse meee for fraking living," Veros snapped right back. "I wasn't expecting that Chaos that freak of a Dark God to literally flick me into your home…"

"Wait," Veldora straightened and rubbed the underside of his chin with his right hand, because his left was also healing from grabbing the unstable portal that had formed on his floor. "did you just mention the Dark God Chaos as in the Grand God of Darkness, as in the Great Betrayer?"

"Yes," Veros glared up at the man that was just as tan as he was, well will be, once all of his skin finally heals. "I did say Chaos who is also the biggest frak-tard in the universe!"

"Hah," Veldora leaned back and laughed. "How could you possibly know Chaos when he's nothing more than a myth?"

Veros rolled his eyes and sighed. "So much you know… umm… what was your name?"

"Hum," Veldora glared back at Veros. "It is only polite to ask a person's name after giving their own first…" Veldora folded his arm over his chest and nodded. "So there!"

Veros face palmed and groaned. "My name is Veros, I'm an Imperial Shadow Knight from the Firaxian Galaxy… there? Happy?" Veros quipped while getting to his feet.

Veldora smiled and seemed to have ignored Veros's sarcasm, or didn't care. "I am pleased to meet you Veros," Veldora thumped his chest. "I am the Great Storm Dragon Veldora Tempest… wait…" Veldora gaped at Veros who raised what would have been an eyebrow, but was only a bunch of tendons and muscle, the skin on his face hadn't fully healed yet. "Did you say that you were a Shadow Knight… from a Galaxy wide Empire?"

"Wow, give the lizard a prize," Veros rolled his eyes. "He actually listened!"

"Hay," Veldora snapped in response. "I am a Dragon… not a lizard!"

"Please," Veros scoffed. "With your power level you wouldn't even beat a juvenile Arc Dragon…" Veros pushed his finger that was still showing a lot of bone into Veldora's chest. "Let alone a full grown one!"

"Why is it you keep mentioning all of these myths," Veldora pushed Veros's hand away. "You should know that there are no such things as Arc Dragons…"

"And I suppose that next you're going to tell me that Meserino Demons, Vorihelcom Demons and Silvarian Demons are all myths too?" Veros narrowed his sinister eyes suspiciously at the Storm Dragon who balked a bit.

"Well it only stands to reason…" Veldora stammered.

Chaos's big red eyeball appeared in the ceiling of the giant cavern his glowing eye glared down and focused on the doubting lizard. "Oh," Chaos's booming voice reverberated thru the entire floor and even surged thru several floors above his. "So, a small time Whelp dares to deny my very existence… how very amusing…"

"Uhhh," Veldora tilted his head to look up into the eye of Chaos. "Chaos… like really? I mean you're not Rimaru playing a trick on me or anything?"

"No," Chaos and Veros both flatly stated. "Now do you believe us?"

Veldora's eyes suddenly rolled into the back of his head and he began foaming at the mouth, before he fell onto his back the poor being's mind couldn't compute what was happening.

"Nice Chaos," Veros looked up into the Dark God's eyeball. "You really know how to make friends wherever you go… don't you?"

"Veros," Chaos narrowed the red beam emanating from his eye, focusing it at the Dark Master. "Shut the frak up!"

Veros started laughing while the giant red eye blinked out of existence.
