The color red. It is the color I recall of my childhood, alarms blaring around me as my mother attempts to keep me calm. My father was flying us to a new place, he did not say where. But I could feel my parent's fear as a laser blast shot around or hit the ship causing it to rock to and fro. I recall my father saying we needed to land, and my mother strapping me down before herself. She told me things would be okay…but through the force, I could feel the fear, and I could sense her doubt.
Within seconds flying ship came crashing down to the nearest planet my father could manage. It hurt. The g-force cause our bodies to lurch as we made contact with the ground below us. This silenced the alarms and caused damage within the ship, looking at my mother I noticed more red. It came from her abdomen, and a piece of metal pierced through her flesh. My father recovered from the shock of the landing and ran to me, when he noticed my mother I felt immense sadness. Something is wrong? I looked to my father for answers as I could not speak but conveyed my question with my eyes. His features replaced a calm demeanor, he was attempting to be strong but I could sense his inner turmoil. Quickly he undid my belt and picked up my small form into his arms, he begged me to not look. I gave my mother a brief look before lowering my head to his shoulder.

My father carried me. Where? I did not know. I could sense the rush of emotions, sadness, loss, and grief. I focused on his breathing as he ran, but I could also hear the sound of another plane. He continued to run for hours, other footsteps joining his. They sounded mechanical. I could sense they were searching for us. My father did not put me down till we were in a new location, I did not have time to look around as he told me to hide and wait for him. He promised he would be back, yet he handed me something. Before I could react he pushed me to hide behind a container. I clenched the object within my grasp as I stayed hidden, I waited…and waited…

No sound could be heard from the outside. But he said he would return. A few seconds turned into minutes, a few minutes turned into hours. No one came. The room was getting dark, it had a heavy feel, one that was unwelcoming. It was suffocating. My hunger was not helping. I stepped out of my hiding spot and sat on the ground in the middle, there was a unique design on the ground. I continued to hold the metal within my little hands. 'Where was he? Father said he would come. I am hungry.' She thought. There was only silence, and darkness…she felt alone. A breathe escape from behind her, the feeling of fear, anger, and doom was strong.
"Are you my new padawan?" The voice was cold, and sinister.

She was afraid to turn, yet the presence moved closer. "Hm…you are strong with the force. Yes-Yes…you must be my new padawan." Against her feelings, she turned to look over her shoulder. Instead of a man a ghostly dark presence danced around her, a mask could be made out as the only features. As it inched closer, I turned and quickly stuck my hand out. An invisible force seem to push the ghostly figure away but only briefly, fear grew within me. "Yes…you shall suffice little one."

"My name is Darth Bane." Long ghostly fingers caressed her cheek, to her chin. "I will train you."
Unbeknownst to the child her father landed on planet, Moraband.
