"Welcome to Magnolia High School, a school where it seems like it's all about sports. More specifically, our football team." Everyone gathered for a big football game where everyone that attended the school cheered to the top of their lungs. The star quarterback had the ball and kept on running until he reached the end and scored the winning touchdown.

"Another touchdown by Natsu Dragneel!" Everyone cheered as Natsu smashed the ball against the ground and he screamed at the top of his lungs. His entire team gathered around him and lifted him up like he was the hero of the day. "With that win, the Magnolia Knights are in the playoffs!"

"That is lucky Player 07: Natsu Dragneel. He is like the big shot of the team, the center star of the whole school. In this school, it's really all about the sports here, but this isn't about the football team. This story is about my team." While the game was going on, a young woman was putting up flyers that was actually for the drama club. Hoping she might get some people interested, but it's not that simple. Getting people to join the arts is easier said than done in this school when it seems like it's all about the athletics.

"Still trying to get people to join your little club, Miss Lucy Heartfilia?" Lucy turned around and was met with a well-dressed man with a long beard.

"I'm nothing if not persistent, Principal Doma." Lucy said.

"Is that a quote from one of your failing plays?" Doma said. "Honestly, Miss Heartfilia, I don't see why you still persist. This is the real show that people want to see." He gestured to the football game, but Lucy just got annoyed from all of it.

"There's more to school than just sports." Lucy said as she stood her ground.

"I'm sure there is, but I figure you know you've got to give the people what they want." Doma said. "This gives me the chance to talk to you about something. I'm afraid if your next play doesn't bring in some money for the school, doesn't draw a crowd, or something like a hit; I'm afraid I'm going to have to shutdown your club."

"What?!" Lucy said as she couldn't believe it. "You can't do that!"

"I'm sorry, but I can't waste anymore of our school's resources on a failing club." Doma explained.

"That sounds like a convenient excuse to get rid of a club you never really supported." Lucy said as she would see right through the little act. "It's all about the sports here and I'm sick of it."

"Well, you're certainly entitled to your opinion, but I am just simply doing my job." Doma said and just walked away. Lucy looked off to the crowd as they all cheered for Natsu and the football team like they were the stars of some big show. That made Lucy sick because that seems to be only thing this school actually cares about. It also didn't help when she noticed someone wrote over her flyer saying the "Dork Club". The Principal probably even saw who did it. Lucy feels like she's going to a school of narrowminded morons that have no appreciation for the arts and think athletics is everything, but she's hoping to change that all one day.

...

The Next Day

Another day has come, and that means another day of unappreciation for Lucy and her club. Still, she's not going to let that get her down. She's like a strong soldier fighting the good fight. Once the day came, she got up and helped herself to some breakfast.

"Morning, Honey." Her mother, Layla, greeted when she joined her. "Did you get any new recruits for your club?"

"Sadly, no. Once the football team won the big game, it was all about them." Lucy said with annoyance. "It was just another day where no one really notices us and is all about the meatheads."

"Can you blame them?" Her father, Jude, said when he came down, having some pep in his step, but for the wrong cause. "Your school is heading for the playoffs. You should be excited." Lucy's situation doesn't help when her own father thinks the same.

"Will someone please explain to me what the big deal is?" Lucy said. "So those athletes win a few games. That doesn't mean that football is the biggest and most important thing in the whole school. The arts can be just as exciting."

"Of course they can be." Layla said as she encouraged her daughter to pursue what she loves. "You'll see."

"I certainly hope so." Lucy hoped as she knows the situation now. Once she had her breakfast and got all that she needed, she went on her way to school. However, everywhere she went, she was reminded of the football team. With such a big game coming, it was like the whole town was supporting the football team. It drove Lucy nuts, but she believes she can change it all one day. In fact, the emotions are so intense that she just feels like singing it out and she can practically hear the music.

Another day

Another time

Unappreciated

I feel like that's a crime

They're out there

And I'm over here

Don't want they sell

I'm fighting the fight

Trying to get them to see the light

But they don't care what I say

But all I need is just one day

I might have one last chance to make them understand

I just need that one day to change their hearts

Just one day

To change the world

To change what they see

Just one day

For them all to see what's true

I want to change the world

And all I need is just one day

I don't want to break the rules

But I'll do what I have to

To change their views, there's much to do

I won't miss a chance

I'll save that last dance

It will be for when I win it all

I might only get one chance to get them to understand

Just one day and I won't ask again

Just one day

To change the world

To change what they see

Just one day

For them to see what's true

I want to change the world

And all I need is just one day

(Just one day...)

(Just one day...)

(Just one day...)

Just one day

To change the world

To change what they see

Just one day

For them to see what's true

Just one day

One day

Just one day

To change the world

To change what they see

Just one day

For them to see what's true

I want to change the world

And all I need is just one day

As Lucy arrived at school, she went straight to her club and to meet with the few that actually does appreciate the arts in the auditorium. She's hoping to change how people see their little club at the school and is going to fight the good fight. However, it's not going to be an easy fight, especially since one last chance might be all they have.

...

The Football Team

"Yeah! Who are we?!" Natsu called when they came into the locker room.

"Knights!"

"Who are we?!" Natsu called

"Knights!" Natsu and the rest of the football were excited that they made the playoffs. They're also aiming to win the playoffs. It's really all they can think about.

"Gray! Gajeel! We are unstoppable!" Natsu declared as he walked over to his two closest teammates.

"Tell us something we don't know." Gray said. "I hate to say it, but you've made a great quarterback. You've brought the team to more wins than I can count."

"Yeah, but only because have the Iron Wall here to have your back." Gajeel boasted.

"Gajeel, I told you that you can't nickname yourself." Gray said.

"It's a team effort, you guys, and we're the ones who are going to win the playoffs as well." Natsu said as he leads his team to victory as any leader would have, knowing it's not one player, it's the whole team. The whole football team was excited about what's to come.

"Dragneel, in here for a moment!" The coach called. Natsu walked right into the locker room and was feeling good. However, the feeling was soon gone when he saw Principal Doma was there and neither he nor the coach looked pleased.

"What's going on?" Natsu questioned.

"I'm afraid we have a problem, Dragneel." The coach said.

"We recently came across this problem." Doma explained. "While you are an excellent football player, I recently found out you haven't really signed up for an elective."

"An elective?" Natsu questioned.

"Electives count in your credit and degree for graduation." The coach explained. "We recently learned that you never signed up for one and that's a problem. I'm afraid we get this settled, you are not able to play on the team."

"What?!" Natsu said as he couldn't believe this. "I can't play for the team?! Coach, the playoffs are coming up! This is not the time to bench me! Just put me on one of those electives and problem solved!"

"We would, but the problem is that there aren't any openings." The coach explained.

"Hold on." Doma said as he had an idea. "There is actually one place that holds many opened positions that will allow you to get the elective you need, keep you on the team for the playoffs, and this might work for the students there." He has something that might help Natsu, and what happens here sets the wheels in motion for changes to come. Will the changes be good or bad?
