Rolling Credits
Chapter 2
Author's Note : Thank you my readers.
Why do you try to deny it
When you show up every night
And tell me that you want me but it's complicated.
Days Later
It started simple and harmless. But looking back on it. Maybe Lucas and i knew exactly what we were doing and didn't want to talk about it.
I ached for Lucas in a way. My heart had never ached for any boy before. I reached out to him. Simply desperate for some kind connection.
I never expected for him to reach back out. Even more for him to show up in the doorway of my bedroom.
"When you bailed me Haley and Peyton out of jail. Did you see my letters.?" I asked.
Lucas entered the bedroom and closed the door behind himself.
"I did. I never read them but i saw they were addressed to me."
"Why does that matter.?" Lucas questioned.
The expression on Brooke's face softened.
I walked over him. Taking his hand in mine. As we sat down on the window seat in my room.
We were right next each other. Yet we couldn't be more far apart.
"I spent that summer writing to you. Everything i couldn't bare to express out loud."
"Are you really saying what you feel for me. That you being the guy for me is over.?" Brooke questioned.
"What do you want me to say.? It's complicated. I'm confused."
"You set up these dating rules to keep me at arms length." Lucas explained.
"I was afraid to be close to you. To let you into you my heart."
"Because no one else affects me the way you do." Brooke admitted.
Lucas kissed me. It was soft and inviting.
I kissed him back. Feeling myself melt into him.
Once we fell back onto my bed. It all happened so fast.
Our clothes falling around us in bunched up piles.
I wanted to savor this. Whatever it was. But his lips on my skin.
I felt alive. When he entered me slowly. Our bodies fitting together
As if they had never been apart.
"Lucas! Luke!" I heard her call out. As she dug her nails into my back.
I just wanted. No i needed to be close to her to again.
...
It was just sex with other guys. With Lucas it was so much more then that.
And he knew it. Maybe that's why he couldn't look in my eyes afterwards.
