So, without further ado, I give to you "Kung Fu Panda 4: Bonds Across Realms."
Legend foretold of a time that evil would rise up and reign over of all of China. But, one day, a being of impossibility shall appear and become China's champion, who will be known as the Dragon Warrior. He will find and lead a band of mighty warriors who will aid him in his quest. But only by finding the darkness' weakness will the Dragon Warrior be able to bring light back to the lands.
A storm was brewing. Thunder could be heard in the distance.
Grunt. Clank. Grunt. Clank. Grunt. Clank.
They were drawing near. He could hear how close they were by the sound of their grunting as they carried something heavy.
Within the Hall of Heroes of the Jade Palace, facing the Moon Pool, stood Shifu. Eyes closed and his breathing steady, he stood firm with Master Oogway's staff clutched tightly in his right hand and his left arm behind his back.
He knew why they were here. He knew what they were after. But unfortunately for them, he had already taken steps towards making sure that they were not fully successful. Taking the scrolls filled with wisdom and Kung Fu artifacts that once resided in this noble place and placing them in a location that only Shifu and a few others knew of, but only he had the knowledge on how to retrieve them. And he had entrusted the most important scrolls of all to the one, besides his deceased master, he trusted with all his being.
The new Grandmaster was also very much aware that he might not make it out of this battle alive. But it was his duty as the Master of the Jade Palace and as a father to protect all that was sacred. And that is why in order to keep them safe, Shifu would gladly accept whatever fate that befell upon him.
The sounds outside suddenly stopped. They were here.
Shifu opened his eyes and turned around just as someone shouted, "FIRE!"
The massive double doors were blown into smithereens and Shifu took cover. However, once the smoke cleared and Shifu was sure he was no longer in danger of being blasted at, he went back to where he previously stood and was meet with figures of his visitors.
Standing on either side of the large, metal weapon that had the destroyed the doors to his home were the silhouettes of three different animals who each had glowing eyes that were narrowed in determination. The only one standing on the left on the weapon was a white peacock with red markings and red eyes. One of the two on the right was a ginormous bull that had glowing teal eyes, who was wielding two jade blades attached to chains that were wrapped around his arms. And thirdly, was the one who brought Shifu the most heartache, for he was his own son. A snow leopard with blinding gold eyes who was growling menacingly. These three were none other than Lord Shen, Kai, and Tai Lung. And behind them was an army of wolves and gorillas crying out for battle.
Ignoring what else was going on around them, the four warriors just stared each other down until the silence was broken.
"Nice. Very nice. Tackey though," Kai mocked as his eyes roamed around the room.
"How dare you all set foot on these grounds?!", the Grandmaster demanded.
"What's wrong, Master? No welcome home?", Tai Lung taunted his adopted father.
Turing to face his son, Shifu simply told him, "This no longer your home, and I am no longer your master."
"Oh, yes," he retorted, chuckling. "You have a new favorite. And where is my dear little sister, anyways? Knowing her, she wound never abandon you."
Choosing to completely ignore the question, he said instead, "This battle between you and me."
"So, that is how it is going to be, is it?", Lord Shen inquired, putting in his two cents.
"As it should be," Shifu stated, getting into his battle stance.
Thunder clapped and lighting lit up the sky outside the Jade Palace before there was a response.
"Very well, then. As you wish," Tai Lung growled, charging forward. His eyes screaming for vengeance.
