Jacob Jake Hansen. The forgotten Hansen brother. The youngest out of the four. Three years younger than Edgar. Was aslo know as Fox, even Rev, in Norwegian.

He was the quietest brother, barely ever said a word, but when he did, his voice was awfully gravelly, like he'd chugged acid. Even ever since he was a small kid, he barely spoke.

Some people thought he was mute, but he'd grunt, or groan in response to some questions. Any other time, his bright green-blue eyes spoke what he was feeling.

The honey blonde hair his brothers called a mop was usually long, and lingered in a mohawk-ish style.

Jake overall was the definition of a fox, he was quiet, lanky, taller than Edgar, but knew how to fight, and knew pretty well, his height being an overall advantage to shorter opponents cough Edgar cough.

And the nickname, fox, began when the older Hansen's friends started to come over, they start referring to Jacob as Fox, or Foxxie, because he was just so quiet.

Even now, when the eldest three brothers were TV personalities and stars on a show, barely anybody watching the show knew there was a fourth Hansen brother. Likely to the fact that Fox had verbally told his brothers not to mention him.

Amd yet Jake watched the show his brothers were on, Deadliest Catch, it seemed interesting how they'd interact with being Captain and crew. Sometimes he was happy he wasn't on the boat, since he didn't like talking, because he voice was so rough.

And it was interesting watching the other Captains on the show intereact with their crews. Sometimes he wanted to help out on the boat while they were on trips, but he didn't like the idea of his face being all over the television.

Too much attention, too many fangirls and fanboys- just fans- to deal with, too much travel, too much stress, too much everything! And it seems that in the show, Norman was the quietest Hansen, oh how wrong they were, but at the same time they didn't know there was a fourth Hansen.

He used to live in Ireland, far, far away from his siblings, but he rathered it that way. It was much easier there, in the countryside of Kilkenny. Not many people around. And thankfully nobody questioned him about his last name. His friends there didn't know either, but he'd rather it that way.

Although, yes, sometimes he'd fly up to Seattle to see his brothers, but that rarely.

But this time it was all diffrent. He'd been fired from his job becuase he wouldn't communicate with his coworkers, scratch that he tried but it didn't work out. So he called his eldest brother and talked, just talked out his frustrations.

And Sig would always listen, because he knew that Jacob never liked talking. And when he did, it was something serious. And they decided that Jacob moved to Seattle, and live with Sig until he got onto his feet.

And it was then decided, by Jake, that he'd try work on the Northerwestwen. Fuck the cameras, fuck the media, he wanted to try, to help, and so he would.

Packing whatever clothes he had, he looked around the used-to-be guestroom that June had fitted to be an actual room. And Jake was grateful for it, although not verbally. He was also able to meet his neices, who knew that he existed.

He and Sig had bought raingear for him, although it was a bit difficult, cause he was tall and skinny. But in the end they gound slicks that fit him.

While he packed a his raingear into a seperate bag, somebody knocked on the door, and opened it. "You ready, Fox?" Sig's blonde head peered around the door, "We're leaving for the airport soon." Sig fully walked into the dark blue painted room, and the little bubble Jake called his home.

"Almost." Jake replied as softly as his gruff voiced allowed, quickly trying to stuffing the last of his belongings into his duffle bag. "That's good." Sig luaghed slightly, watching his youngest brother try pack the rest of his stuff.

But the smile on Sig's face only lasted a second, before he started speaking, "You do realize that the camera crew will be asking you questions, and your na-" Jake put a hand up, starting to talk himself, although gruffly, he cut his brother off, "I know, I'll have to talk, but I wanna help you on there, fuck the TV part of it." Jake exclaimed, his rough voice sounding like a yell. Fox never yelled before, ever.

Sig sighed, he understood Jake's want to help them. "But it'll change you! You'll have to talk more. Especially since you're a Hanson, Fox." Sig tried to readon, but his ypungest brother stubbornly turned his back to his brother, meaning the end of the topic.

"Anyway, we're leaving in a few." Sig headed for the door, lingering there for a second before leaving.

Jake sighed quietly, zipping up his bags, and following his brother out to the kitchen, where Sig's family had gathered up to say bye.

Jake quietly shuffled into the room with his bags in his arms, keeping his focus on his bags as he set them down on the floor. Sig was bugging his wife and kids goodbye while Jake stood idly near the exit of the room, waiting for his brother to get going.

Although he lived in his brothers home, he tried to make leave as little of himself around as he could, the only indication that he lived there was his signiture fox hoody that could be fount laying on whatever chair or couch Jake passed by last.

And he didn't get involved in Sig's family stuff, yes, he'd celebrate holidays and birthdays, but nothing other than that. So je just stood by the door waiting, with a solem look on his face.

Once Sig had done saying bye to his family, and Jake had said some quiet, shy farewells too, the two brother began the journey to Dutch, as Edgar and Norman took it upon themselves to the the Northwestern to Dutch and get it ready, to take some stuff off of Sig's shoulders.

At Dutch Harbour, on the Northwestern, the boat gliding through the water up ro her tie up spot. With Edgar at the helm. And Norman, Jake, Nick and Matt getting their lines ready to tie up. Appearantly they'd be getting a new greenhorn, and Edgar couldn't help but have a worried feeling lingering in the pit of his stomach.

Then, his phone rang, and ofcourse, it was Sig.

He awnsered it with a half-hearted, "Hello? Who's this?"

"Very funny, Ed." Anyway, I wanna tell you who our greenhorn is now before you start freaking out."

"Freaking out? Why would I be freaking out?" Edgar immediately went on the offensive.

"It's Fox." Sig said bluntly. Edgar stared out the wheelhouse windows for a solid second, "Fox? Why Fox?-" Edgar started, but got cut off by Sig, "It was his decision, truthfully, he said himself he wanted to help us."

Edgar heard the meaning behind his eldest brothers words, but to thing their quiet, shy, untalkful baby brother would want to work on a boat where there's 1, communication is key, and 2, where there's a camera crew.

"But Fox on a boat with a camera crew?" Edgar asked quietly, half shokked and half getting mushy inside that their little brother wluld give up his identity to help them. Now that's determination if he's ever seen it.

"He's also right here, y'know." Sig stated, before Edgar heard what he identified as a eough 'Hi' from Fox.

"Hey, Fox." Edgar almost laughed, "Let's hope qe break you in without breaking you." Edgar said, and he knew he brothers knew what he meant.

"Alright, we'll be there in a few hours."

"Alright, see ya."

Edgar pocketed his phone after ending the call. He cotemplated his secisions to tell his crew of the new Hansen onboard, or to let Fox introduce himself.

Weighing his options, he decided to go with the first one. After tying up, and everybody was inside the galley, Edgar padded down the stairs.

"I got some information about our greenhorn." Edgar stated, a slight bit of anxiety bubbling in his stomach as he noticed the camera filming.

"Ooo? Got a name?" Ofcourse Jakers was the most curious in who it was. Jake always liked making, or trying to make, friends with anybody in the fleet his age.

"Jake Fox Hansen." Norman's face immediately lit up in suprise, "Hansen? Jake? Who's kid?" Nick asked, confusion evident in the veteran deckhand's features.

"It's brother, actually, ours." Edgar pointed to Norm and himself.

Jakers really wasn't suprised about the fact yhere was a fourth Hansen brother, just the fact that- "Why do you call him Fox?"

Edgar's features lit up slightly, "He's really quiet, not mute, just doesn't talk. Qhen we were way young, our friends would come over and they dubbed him Fox, and it kinda stuck."

"I think I started calling him that." Matt said thpughtfully, "Yeah, it was me because i said He's quiet, like a fox, but he look's like he could kill you if he wanted to." Edgar chuckled at the memory. "That's right."

"Anyway, mushy stuff aside we got a greenhorn to break in, no special treatment." Edgar ordered strictly, pointing a finger at Jake A. especially, who raised his hands up in defense
