Roman picked up his ringing phone and saw his best friend Seth's name flash across the screen. Nothing new in Seth calling. Maybe he was bored and wanted to visit or something. Roman didn't have any plans today so he would be up for most things. He pressed the green button and put the phone to his ear.

"Hi, Seth," Roman said.
"I found her," Seth said.

Roman's heart stopped beating. It could only mean one thing. Still he had to be absolutely sure.

"What do you mean?" Roman asked.
"I found her," Seth repeated. "I found Rue."

Rue was Seth's one year older sister. She was also Roman's girlfriend, or she used to be. When the siblings lost their mother, it hit her hard. So hard that she didn't know how to move on. Somehow, somewhere she met a guy named Bray and slowly started talking more and more about him. It was clear she was being brainwashed with the things she was saying. They tried warning her about Bray but she wouldn't listen. And then one day she was gone. She left her apartment and everything in it behind, and she had been gone ever since. That was two years ago. They had never stopped searching for her or this man named Bray Wyatt.

"Where is she?" Roman asked.
"Downtown on the street handing out pamphlets and trying to get people to join them. She's in a fucking cult, Roman," Seth said.
"I'm on my way," Roman said.
"I'll meet you at the parking house," Seth said.

Roman ran out to his car and drove downtown as quickly as he could. As promised, Seth was there waiting.

"Where is she?" Roman asked.
"Slow down," Seth said. "I haven't made contact yet. I've only watched her from afar. I figured it would be best if we go together to show her we both still love her and that we miss her. Don't raise your voice or force her. Just talk to her calmly."
"Stay calm?" Roman frowned. "That's my fucking girlfriend who's been missing for two years!"
"And she's my sister!" Seth raised his voice. "You're not the only one who lost her. I've been going out of my mind too."

Roman took a deep breath and nodded. Seth was right. They both lost her, and they needed to be on the same page.

"Sorry," Roman said.
"Let's just go there and see if we can get her away from the group somehow," Seth said.
"How did you even find her? Were you just lucky to be down here today?" Roman asked.
"You know I've googled her and Bray's names everyday. This morning I hit the jackpot. They made a website for the cult. The Wyatt Family. And there's a list of dates of where they'll be to talk to people. I just rushed to my car and drove here to make sure she was there, and then I called you," Seth said.
"Take me to her," Roman said.

Seth nodded his head and started walking. It didn't take long before Roman spotted her in a group with nine other people trying to get people to talk.

"If they ask, we better both use my last name," Roman said.
"Like we're cousins?" Seth asked.
"Or husbands," Roman said dryly.
"There's no way you're getting this ass," Seth said. "For fuck's sake, let's not do this right now. Let's just walk up to her and wing it."

They both walked calmly towards her. Her dark brown hair had gotten long and reached her waist. She turned around and settled her chocolate brown eyes on them. Clearly she recognized them but she didn't show it to anyone. She just smiled and pulled out a pamphlet. Seth noticed she took the one from the bottom instead of the top, and handed it to him. He also noticed one of the group members standing close enough to hear everything.

"Hi, guys," Rue said. "Would you like to join our family? You can read more about it in this."
"Can we ask you some questions?" Seth asked.
"Everything you need to know is in there," Rue said.

Rue pointed at the pamphlet and gave Seth a firm look. She turned around and smiled while walking over to someone else. Seth grabbed Roman's arm and pulled him away from the group.

"We're not gonna leave her here," Roman said.
"Hold on," Seth said.

Seth opened the pamphlet. There was a lot of printed words about the cult. He also saw something else. Four words written in the left side with a pen.

"I need your help."

"I knew it. She saved this one for us. She knew we would come," Seth said.
"What the fuck do we do now?" Roman asked.
"We help her," Seth said.

They both looked towards the group. Someone had hooked his arm with hers, and they were all walking down the street.

"They're gonna attack us if we try anything right now. We're two against nine. We won't win, and she'll be even more fucked," Seth said.
"Don't say it," Roman sighed. "We're gonna do it, aren't we?"
"I'm afraid so," Seth sighed too. "We're gonna join the Wyatt Family."
"We need a plan. We can't just go there and expect it to be easy. We'll get in without problems, but getting out again might cause some issues," Roman said.
"Let's go home and figure it out," Seth looked towards Rue. "We're coming for you, Rue. One way or another, we're gonna get you out. I don't give a fuck if I have to burn down the entire building."
