The church was filled with roses, hyacinths, lilies, and poppy flowers of different assorted colors from pinks, to red, lilac to ocean blue, even whites and hidden purples among them. The tables pushed together, to have more room, were covered in pristine white sheets, with golden yellow trim lace along with them.

The food consisted of assorted cookies, each having different fillings such as chocolate, vanilla pudding, and cream. Platters of macaron towers are placed carefully by the cookies, colorings matching the flowers hanging on the walls and entrances. Butter-based salmon, honey-infused ham, with a side of sliced pineapple was there. Tofu meatballs, covered in marinara sauce and much more were there for guests.

Courage pulled his suit collar away once more, nerves eating at him, as unfamiliar faces of Kitty and Bunny's folks mingled with each other. A whimper from him was cut off as one of his returning villains tapped his shoulder.

"Dog, there's no time for your whining. Kitty requested for you, so hurry up. It's best not to keep my dear sister waiting." Murmurs Katz, his glare never wavering from Courages.

Courage nods once, afraid to speak up, skipping his way to Kitty's dressing room, he knocked once, before being pulled in by a panicked Kitty.

Her ears were pinned back, her nervousness etched in her features, trying to breathe and stay calm but was unable, till Courage took her hands and gave her a weary smile, calming the girl.

"Thank you…" murmurs Kitty, getting up from the floor.

Courage tapped her hand, head tilted, questioning her.

"I wanted you here because I just...just never got to say my thanks for bringing her back to me. Bunny told me all you did for her, even after I was the worst to you. Someone who gave me my meaning to see the brightness in my life again. So..thank you...thank you, Courage. You're not like other dogs, and I should've realized it. I'm sorry." Says Kitty, choking on her words, small tears welling up in her eyes as she finishes.

Courage stepped towards her and placed the mouse toy in Kitty's paws. "Friend." Smiled Courage, backing up a bit from the kitty, who places a kiss on his head.

"You're a good dog, courage. Thank you." Replies Kitty, bouncing the mouse between her paws, a smile ever-growing on her face.

A knock on the door indicated it was time, as Muriel's voice rang past the door joyfully.

"Kitty, I hope I'm not intruding. But, the ceremony is a starting. We can't keep the bride waiting, dear. Chirps Muriel, her shoes scuffing the floor as she leaves humming the martial tune to herself.

Courage faced Kitty once more, gently pulling her to her feet, a big grin on his face, Kitty returns it with a smaller one, nodding once as she pets Courage one last time, heading out toward the main room, Courage slightly behind her.

The tune was played with more vigor, Muriel bobbing her head along with it, as Katz links his arm with Kitty's, Bunny already there, glowing under the fluorescent lights, a barely there blush on her cheeks, her smile warm and fond.

The priest starts, as the music stops ruptly, a slight cough, as the priest continues the ceremony, waves his hand toward Kitty, nods to her.

"Bunny, we've been friends longer than I could remember. You were all my firsts, and I cannot see myself living in a world without you. When...when I thought I would no longer see you, I acted out in desperation...angry that you wanted him over me. I learned not all dogs are bad, and what I did should not be easily forgotten. I want to..to redeem myself and create a new life with you. And to say thank you to the one who brought you back to me…" Finished Kitty, her ears flicked back, laying against her skull in disdain.

"Kitty, out of everyone I met, I always clung to you. I loved you even before mad dog! But, I chose him because I was never sure where we stood. He never liked our relationship. And looking back, you came back for me. Even when I ditched you or was taken by him to never see you again. I escaped and started this life with you. You are my important person. Your flaws are just, and I will always walk with you to this new outlook. You're my forever. And I want nothing more than to be in your arms till we're old and grey.

I have no doubts that you are the one I want to spend my eternity with. So, please always hold my hand...and never forget that I will always choose you. No matter what..." Finished Bunny, sniffling a bit, unshed tears wanting release.

"Please exchange rings."

As the two exchanged rings, Eustace mutters grumbly under his breath, arms crossed as a sour look stays on his face throughout the exchange.

"You may now kiss the bride."

Bunny leaned in quickly kissing Kitty first, as soon as it was said, Kitty taken back at first, kissed back, circling her arms loosely around Bunny, after a few minutes they parted both glowing happily, Kitty rubbing her head against the top of Bunny's head purring happily, her tail swaying and curling around Bunny's general direction.

The two families clapped, Muriel blew her nose, a happy sob shaking from her, happy for the couple. Courage clapped excitedly, a toothy grin at the newly wed, the couple smiled back, as they speed walked toward the foyer, the families following them. Kitty picks up Bunny, twirling her bride around her contagious giggles. Bunny threw the bouquet, landing on top of Courage's head, unnoticed by the pink dog, still waving bye to them as they entered the limo, soon driving off.

Courage sighs happily, turning away from the speck of the limo, bumped into Katz, giving him an uninterested look.

"Courage...you did alright for a mutt." Murmurs Katz, nodding once at Courage in acknowledgement, turning away, as he heads back to his family.

Confusion sat with Courage, as Muriel carried him to the car, Muriel placed the bouquet onto his lap, petting Courage soothingly, as Eustace drove to the farm house.

Courage sighs dreamily once more, wondering if marriage will one day be in his future as well.
