Okay, here we are in the new fanfiction!
Before we start I just want to let you guys know this.
I am not the first person to do this.
There is another fanfiction out there that has done 'MHA watches The Incredibles' before me, it's called 'Class 1-A Watches The Incredibles' by Praxus84. I recommended reading that fanfiction if you're interested in 'MHA watches The Incredibles'.
Anyway, let's begin.
READ ME BEFORE RESUMING: This fanfiction takes place in my other fanfiction 'MHA watches the MCU' the following chapter will be an Interlude when the characters finished watching Ant-Man, I recommend reading that fanfiction before reading this chapter. If you're only here for reading the reaction and not the MCU continuity or the storyline outside of the film reactions, then skip this chapter or wait if the chapter hasn't appeared yet.
Previously on 'MHA watches the MCU'…
"Before we begin our break, I want to introduce you guys to someone who's going to be here for one or two films,"
At that moment, a new figure enters the cinema, all eyes turn to see the person.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, Heroes and Villains, allow me to introduce you someone new,"
They look at his attire, he wore black trousers, a black vest, a white shirt, red gloves and a red tie.
"One that had many versions of villains than versions of heroes. One that is capable of changing hero society and take down any hero because they always underestimate him and strike before they notice."
Then they look at his face, everyone's eyes widen when they recognized the face, especially on the hero side. But the villains were shocked to who he is.
"One of the versions of the greatest and most threatening villain in your multiverse."
"Hello." He spoke, giving an evil grin towards the audience. Which in response gave great fearful shakes of disbelief. Especially to the one who knew him too well.
"His name… is Izuku Midoriya…"
It was a full minute of shock.
The group just stood there and look at the new person who's going to watch the next film.
Hearing the descriptions of this person, looking at his clothes, his face showing a hint of madness, it was too much to deny that this person was real.
"Oh, but he is," FWM with a smile.
The group didn't respond to the girl's random response to nothing. Just stood in place until finally the person in front of them, Izuku Midoriya made his action.
"This is rather shocking to you guys, isn't it?" he said, taking a few steps forward towards the audience, "a familiar face, yet different circumstances, seeing something you don't want to see."
"How…" the first person in the group to speak, Uraraka, stutter her words in an attempt to ask a major question, "how… how is this possible? How are you… a villain?"
"Well, my dear…" Midoriya said, words being confident as ever, giving a slight shock towards the gravity girl, knowing that her Midoriya seems shy when she's around her, same goes with her as well.
But this time, she wasn't shy, she was scared.
"Have she told you about the multiverse? It has many possibilities and timelines where things can turn out different form another."
"I guess that's true…" Tokoyami was the second to spoke up, "there would be universes where we become villains as well, so there wouldn't be any reason why there wouldn't be one with Midoriya."
"That's right," the vest-wearing Midoriya said, "but I found out that there is something special about… me…"
He then set his eyes on one person, someone that he notice right away and intrigued that the person exists, looking at him was like looking into a mirror.
The person he was looking at meanwhile, Izuku Midoriya, was shaking, both shocked and frightened.
But overall, he was in denial.
"You're not real..." Midoriya said.
His reflection smirked and snicker as a response.
"I should say the same to you…" Midoriya said.
(okay to not confuse the two, from now on, the Author will call this new Midoriya 'VDeku'. Got it?)
(Author's note: yes, FWM, I got it)
"Alright, with that out of the way, I hope you guys would have nice company with him, break starts now!" FWM said as she exits the cinema.
30:00
After she left, the group took a while to comprehend the villain Deku.
VDeku on the other hand gave looks at each person in the group.
"Before arriving here, your host showed me your information about you guys," he started, "I know most of you, but there are one or two faces that are new to me," at that moment, he looked at the Gravity girl before looking at the student group entirely, "the class of 1-A, I assume we were good friends in your timeline right? well… in mine, we're enemies, seeing me as nothing more than an ungrateful villain."
He then turns to the League of villains, who, after learning about this new person was shocked. Especially Shigaraki. The only one who wasn't shocked was Toga, who had warm feelings towards this new Izuku.
"I see that the League of Villains is still around, I thought you guys wouldn't last long. Especially without me around."
"What do you mean by that?" Shigaraki was the first in the villain group to speak.
"You was the one who brought us together, Shigaraki," VDeku responds, "but you weren't fit to be a leader for our cause."
"Your cause?" one of the teachers questioned which caught attention to the villain.
"Yeah, to change society," he turns around now paying attention to the pro heroes.
"to show the world the lies of the system, one that keeps the powerful on top, and the powerless, the dangerous and the useless at the bottom. And when we attempt to climb, you push us down."
"That's not true," All Might said, who had a lot in his mind, trying to cope that this version of his successor was a villain.
"Is it All Might?" he turns with a smile, "you trying to fight the League of Villains is a great example."
"Because they are murderers," Aizawa response, "they killed and try to kill people, they're not good people."
"Neither am I," VDeku said. "and if things went differently in your timeline, neither was your Izuku as well."
"What the hell happened to you," an angry student questioned, who overall shocked from seeing a familiar face and deny to what he sees.
"Did I hear that right, I know that voice," VDeku said, holding his hand behind his ear, "that must be my old pal Bakugo Katsuki." He turns to see his former friend, confident towards him. "how's being a hero, by the way, still wanting to defeat villains, caring nothing more than to win, being a perfect example to what's wrong with society."
"I don't know what you're talking about Deku," Bakugo shouted while VDeku did not react, "defeating the villain are what heroes are about, that's why I'm going to be number one, just like All Might."
"Like I said," VDeku said, keeping his cool and his smile, "a perfect example."
"Shut up Deku!" Bakugo shouted at the villain, "I'll kill you!"
This only caused VDeku to snicker.
"Really Katsuki? a death threat? Can you ever be more predictable?" he said as he confronts the explosion boy, trying to keep his anger, but notice that Deku, this Deku, wasn't afraid of him.
"All my life, you always give me nothing but death threats, telling me that you're going to kill me, and yet you don't do it, only push me around or stay angry. That's all your threat does, they're empty as you." He was, "and you claim yourself that you'll become the number one hero. If you managed to do so, then what you are representing what all heroes should be. And that… that is the problem…"
Bakugo said nothing, thinking about what this version of Midoriya said, he didn't like it, and if he kept shouting, he would just prove him right.
"And now finally…" VDeku turns his attention back to Midoriya, "the one I was looking forward to meeting the most."
Midoriya was shaken, still in utter denial to acknowledge that this Midoriya, this version of him was real.
VDeku walked up to him, as Midoriya expect to say something wrong about him.
But instead, he said unexpected worlds, "it's like looking at a dream, you know, of what I could have been." He then walks away and heads towards the seating spot.
With that, their break begins.
Aside from an additional person in the group, they also notice new stuff in the waiting room.
On the wall of heroes and villains, there are two more images, on the hero side, an image of Scott Lang in his Ant-man with the label, 'Scott Lang/Size Changing Hero: Ant-Man', on the villain side, was the image of Darren Cross in his Yellowjacket suit with the label 'Darren Cross/Yellowjacket'.
There wasn't a lot that added other than two things, the suit of the Ant-Man that was lined up with the other suit and costumes and a miniature model of the Pym Tech building, standing next to the models of the spaceships from Guardians of the Galaxy.
However, their interest wasn't them, but rather the person who now sits in the waiting area.
23:15
While VDeku settles himself in the waiting area, some were curious about him, those who sat near him, looking at him.
From his reflection to some of the students, even a couple of villains he knew were staring at him, there was also a girl with brown hair and round cheeks, he never saw this girl before, was she part of 1-A? did this version of himself help her get into the hero course? He remembers all the faces from 1-A in his timeline, same with 1-B and she wasn't in either of them.
However there she wasn't the only girl that bothered him.
"So… Izuku…" he turns to see Toga, who sat closer than anyone else. "I guess you're part of the League of Villains… right?"
"That… is correct," VDeku answered turning to the vampire villain.
"So… what am I like?" Toga asked
"Um…" VDeku paused, thinking about his Toga, remembering her to who she is, his streak of being confident broke apart as he starts to look nervous around the blonde girl. "well… I know she likes blood, but she also has a heart, even when she stabs people for blood… she's nice and helpful and…"
"Are we together in your timeline?" Toga went straight to the question VDeku didn't want to answer, causing him to blush.
"What? no… not saying that I don't like her or you… we're just good friends… that's all…" VDeku said in embarrassment, which surprised those who watched their conversation the entire time, as it showed a bit of their own Deku towards this one.
Toga meanwhile smiled from his response, not going to push him further but knew that he has a crush on her doppelganger, and feel good that they are friends instead of enemies, only wishing that her Izuku was like that instead of trying to get away. But she knows he's a hero and she's a villain, she's just a bit glad that they would be together if he was a villain as well.
Meanwhile, for the rest, they were interested in this version of Midoriya.
"Man, can't believe there's a version of Midoriya who became a villain, even I wouldn't believe it." Kirishima said, "he seems to be a happy, innocent boy, I just don't see him being evil."
"Yeah, it makes me wonder how he turns to a dark path," Iida said, as he was curious towards the villain too.
"You guys know I can hear you," VDeku said after recovering his embarrassing shyness from Toga, "if you want to know, I don't mind telling my story to you all, you just have to ask."
"If that's the case then I got a simple question," Izuku said, getting his notes ready, "what happened to you? What made you a villain?"
"The answer to that is very simple," VDeku said, "the bottle never slipped out..."
"A bottle?" Midoriya was confused about what his reflection said.
"Hero society wasn't good for me, I was born quirkless and nobody cared for me, it was only when… something happened that broke me, I realized that I am not alone, that there are many people who cry out for help… only to be stepped on and called a villain. I hated society and wanted to change it, so I joined the League of Villains in hoping to achieve that goal."
"Were you there when they attacked the USJ?" Kirishima asked, imagining the idea that when he saw villains popping out, one of them would have been their friend.
"Oh no," VDeku quickly answered, "I didn't join the League until much later, sometime after Stain was arrested, the same time Toga and Dabi joined the league too." He turns to see the two he mentioned, remembering the first time he saw Shigaraki and how he tried to kill them because he 'doesn't like them', thankfully Kurogiri broke the fight before it began and they went onto good terms afterwards.
"Before, I was climbing the ladder of the criminal underground, selling vital information and weaknesses to villains, as well as training myself to defend and attack. My important information from All Might put me in the League… in fact, using that information put me as the most wanted villain in Japan."
"What do you mean by that?" Midoriya asked, not wanting to know, and yet intrigued to what he did to put him in such a position.
"It's funny when I think about it." VDeku said as though he was in his own thoughts, "All Might, the so-called Symbol of Peace, the number one hero that gave people hope and fear to villains, someone who was considered unstoppable because he always wins, and after a great victory from a bigger threat then I am, was suddenly shot down in cold blood, by a quirkless kid, who once believed in him."
This was a big shock to hear, with more getting attention to the villain, they were stunned from what he was implying.
"Wait… are you telling me that… we… you… murdered… All Might?" Izuku stuttered, who was stunned the most.
VDeku response with a smile, putting his hands up and said, "guilty as charged."
Hearing this, it was something they wouldn't imagine, would want to believe that it happened, they wanted this version of Midoriya to say that he was lying, but from what he said, he told the truth.
"The Symbol of peace brought down by a quirkless villain," Tokoyami muttered. Still comprehending the concept alone.
As for the actual and now former Symbol of Peace, it was a lot to think, the idea that his successor not only became a villain in this timeline but also the one who killed him. It made him wonder what made Midoriya this way? Did a villain kidnap him and brainwash him into a villain? No, that can't be it, he joined the League and did criminal activities before, so something major had to change to go from the boy he knew to the boy he's seeing.
"In the aftermath of his death, it made society wake up, it causes a bit of chaos and showed that the hero system isn't working, so far, we're making changes, and after dealing with such crow wearing bastard, the FWM took me away and well… here I am…"
After that, it kept to himself and no one dared to ask him any questions. Probably because they were afraid to what they would hear from him, what he'd done that pushes him away from the Midoriya they knew.
The students had a lot to take in from this new Midoriya, they didn't like what he'd become and wouldn't imagine their Midoriya would do such actions. They try to believe that this Midoriya was an imposter, like some villain took over his body and the real Midoriya died, something that they can cope with, but knew it wasn't true.
The villains were surprised as the students, to think that one of the 1-A students being part of their League of Villains, true that they attempted to persuade Bakugo into their team, but they didn't think Midoriya would of join them too. Probably because he would annoy Shigaraki. But they also thought about him too, with this Midoriya saying that Shigaraki is no longer leader, did they do a breakup as well? (for new readers who are unaware, after watching Winter Soldier I think, the League of Villains broke up because they saw that Shigaraki isn't interested in changing society.)
Did Midoriya being with them cause them to kick Shigaraki out of his league? If this Midoriya wanted to change society, then they can see them joining his cause. Way more than the man-child who FWM calls 'Handjob'.
As for the Teachers, the Pro heroes who overheard the VDeku's story, it was mixed feelings.
To the heroes, it was devastating to know that someone they know fell into villainy, worse that they killed a hero, the number one hero at top. Some knew what Midoriya was like, he can be a bit reckless, but at the same time try to do good. Which is why they wouldn't consider him as a traitor of U.A.
But they can't judge their own Midoriya with the one from a different timeline.
But the ones who had it hard to know and hear this version of Midoriya was the ones who knew him well, Bakugo, All Might and Midoriya himself.
When VDeku talked back at him, showing no fear towards him, he notices how much he'd changed, the Deku he used to pick on wasn't him, the Deku he knew wasn't this version. He remembers many times that he wanted to be a hero but kept telling him that he can't be one without a quirk. So the fact that he became a villain is a bit too much.
For a slight movement, he hated himself for what he did to Deku.
All Might hated himself as well, as he wanted to know what made this Midoriya into a villain, he can't see any part of the Midoriya he knew, he didn't see his successor or would choose him to become a successor, especially when he was the one who killed him.
He also wonders about the late Nighteye's vision, he didn't give full detail or saw the full image of his pending death, but could it be possible that what he saw was when Midoriya murdered him? Had his Midoriya change his fate and changed not only his future but saved his life in the long run?
He didn't want to think about it, and yet he has to, for the sake of this Deku, thinking that there's a possible chance he can be saved.
(Oh, Mighty naive Might, he's beyond saving, at least in your term of saving…)
But nobody had much impact on VDeku's arrival than his doppelganger, their Izuku Midoriya.
He heard his story, he has yet to know how he went from hero wannabe to villain, he heard his villainous path, but what changed him into what he is? Was there something that happened to him that he could have become?
Overall, the fact that there's a villain version of him was frightening, but as one of the students mentioned, there is a multiverse, meaning that anything is possible, with several of them would be timelines where any one of them were villains, there could even be a timeline where All Might is evil and All for One is a hero.
So why would the FWM bring an evil version of himself right here?
The only answers he could tell is that not only there's a reason to, but it has something to do with the film they're going to watch.
For now, they have to wait till it's time, not only they'll get a better understanding, but maybe VDeku would tell more about himself.
0:15
Now it's time for the next film, the group goes towards the now open doors of the screen room, now with VDeku following them.
The name of the next film was shown above the doors as it reads:
'Non-MCU: The Incredibles'
"Another movie outside of the MCU," Midnight said, "just like Deadpool."
"Don't remind me about that," Uraraka said, remembering the film about a questionable killer in a hero outfit.
"Well don't worry, Uraraka," FWM appeared next to her, "this is actually a family-friendly reality, though it does have some… interesting themes, that's all I can say."
While the group enters the screen room, All Might took this chance to have a short talk with VDeku.
"Hey… Young Midoriya…" he started, a little hesitated to call him 'Young Midoriya' when he isn't his Midoriya, "mind if I say something before we head inside?"
"What is it?" VDeku said, in an uncaring tone.
The former hero takes a deep breath, "I don't know what my doppelganger did to you and you have your reason to kill him, but I'm just letting you that I'm sorry if I have done anything bad to you."
"It's alright."
Words from the villain version of his successor surprised All Might, "wait really?"
"Yeah, you don't need to apologize All Might." VDeku said, "in fact, I'm more thankful for what you did,"
"And what did I do?" All Might asked irrationally, knowing that it would be sensitive towards VDeku, but ever curious to what his version of himself did to him.
"You told me that I cannot be a hero without a quirk. And based on what I have seen from my other self, you're still right."
"HAWKEYE!"
A loud shout ring everyone' ears, VDeku had to cover them, unaware of what he did.
"What was that?" he asked recovering from the loud shout.
"Yeah, you said something that isn't true, just ignore it" All Might pointed out, "but I… still don't understand…"
"Let me tell you said I told to my All Might, right before I put a bullet in his head." VDeku turns to face All Might, taking a deep breath before giving his message. "thank you for showing me the truth."
He then walks inside the Screen room, where he took a seat next to Midoriya, leaving All Might to think about what he said.
"All Might," FWM appeared in the doorway, catching All Might's attention, "you're the last person out here, come inside please."
"Oh, sorry, just in my thoughts." He response, entering the cinema and take his seat.
To be continued…
