Arthur is turned into a goose, and Merlin tries to catch him and turn him human again before Camelot is destroyed.

It was said that King Arthur of Camelot had ushered in an era of peace in Albion. He had ended the petty squabbles and wars of the elites, united the common people in a cause of prosperity, and ruled justly over his people. Many had begun to call it a Golden Age. And what a damn shame it was too.

Merlin's a fanfic writer and just reached a milestone of words. Arthur is less than pleased.

Something wasn't right. Either a dreadful mistake had been made, or someone was trying to poison Arthur. Not that Merlin would blame them - Arthur was the prattiest prat to prat Camelot, but his dying? That just wouldn't do.

After a stray remark from a visiting noble, Arthur has to grapple with the fact that Merlin bears a resemblance to Uther that cannot be ignored.
