An AU type story that changes the outcome 'The Sins of The Father' (s2e8) thus changing the events of the entire series. Instead of Merlin preventing Arthur from killing Uther, Merlin convinces Arthur to stage a rebellion. Knowing the true nature of Ygraine's death, Arthur agrees and sets out to take the throne from his father.

In which Arthur and the knights find out about Merlin's magic. Shenanigans ensue, including but not limited to Merlin denying having anything to do with Emrys and Morgana smirking.

Arthur and Merlin are attacked by bandits, surprise surprise, but this time things go a bit differently, secrets are revealed and friendships tested.

In the modern world full of boxers and cheaters, the company run by the Pendragon family is extremely well-known. But successful companies have enemies. The to-be CEO, Arthur Pendragon, is the only child of Uther Pendragon. When the life of the successor is threatened, the genius bodyguard Merlin, who had just recently moved into the capital, crosses paths with Arthur.

Merlin learns that what he perceives as entirely normal, isn't. Then things get awkward when dirt is involved. ... Otherwise known as: The one in which angst is attempted, but all control is lost. The story writes itself and the author is just along for the ride.

Follow the lives of Uther and his sons Arthur and Merlin after tragedy has struck.

There is an arranged marriage made between prince Merlin and prince Arthur for the good of their kingdoms. One is willing to make it work, the other... not so much. Or is he?

Arthur is captured by a group of sorcerers who have grown tired of waiting for the uniting of Emrys and the once of fucher king and decide to take matters into there own hands they enchant Arthur to be bound into a cave only to be released when Emrys ' completes there union' .

When a spell goes wrong in the night, Freya returns to her boyfriend in the form of a child. Later Arthur, Mordred, Gwen and Morgana pay Freya and Merlin a visit and they quickly become friends. Friendships are forged in the protection of the barrier and maybe a secret or two is shared. Sequel to The Prince Comes to Visit. AU, established relationship.

After Arthur's death, Merlin is devastated. He retreats inside his own head, building a reality where things are better. Where Arthur is alive and magic is free. Meanwhile, a newly crowned Guinevere is trying to deal with an unstable court, as well as reeling at her husband's death. Soon, realities will collide, and Merlin will have to come to terms with his grief.

In the aftermath of a near death experience for both Merlin and Arthur, in which Merlin manages to save Arthur's life in the nick of time yet again, the two end up taking comfort in one another, have a good snogging session, then feelings are revealed.

"Y-you said you would come back." "I know. And I did." "N-no, you didn't." Arthur needs to face his biggest mistake.

Merlin has made a new friend. Arthur thinks that's funny, until it's not.

What happens if Merlin was killed when he slipped on the walk through the Perilous lands to rescue Guinevere? How will it effect his friends and will they give up on him? How much will they be willing to give to get back their closest friend? Sort of Merthur, definitely Merlin/ Arthur bromance. Happy ending!

Merlin rubbed his forehead as he tried to focus on the words on the page instead of his steadily worsening headache. He was no help to Gaius while he felt like this so the sooner he cured himself, the sooner he could save everyone else. (Set in s01e03. Merlin gets sick after drinking the infected water.)
