Following the events after Mass Effect 3, The things that happened is still bothering Shepard and the galaxy is getting back together after everything, but there's still a couple of loose ends that need to be taken care of, Shepard has a new enemy.

Set 50,000 years before the events of Commander Shepard's adventures, this story follows the Prothean scientist Pashek Vran, overseer of the Crucible Project. In a race against time, a simple researcher struggles to connect the pieces of an inevitable future told through the ruins of countless civilizations: galactic annihilation.

A distress call comes to the Normandy, causing Commander Charles Shepard's traumatic past with batarians to bubble up to the surface. A young man's traumatic present resolves as a result, but the ghostly remnants of their past experiences remain in each other as both throw themselves onward. (On indefinite hiatus. I like the concept enough to repurpose this into an original novel.)

Shepard goes to find out what caused a crash but Edi scans too late as it awoke a lone being of a long forgotten race. New race, Au and a lots of insanity.

A Broad Strokes Alternate Ending to Mass Effect 3, Where Shepard does what Shepard always seems capable of doing, Listening and Talking. Note: It's a setup to another Mass Effect fanfic series I will be working on.
