This story is an excerpt from my much longer series "Sunshine and Shadow." That story is an AU in that focuses heavily on Daniel Jackson. Episode rewrite for 3.01 'Into the Fire'. Why would Hathor devote so much effort into making SG-1 think they were in the future, right down to building a replica of the SGC, when she could just stick a symbiote into Jack? What if there was a logical reason for her actions? And what if there was a logical reason behind her habit of always speaking in the plural?

A decision Sam makes one night has lasting consequences. Sam struggles to deal with a medical diagnosis as her world threatens to fall down around her. Borderline M in the first chapter for sex but after that it's T. Eventual SJ and team.

While exploring a seemingly desolate planet, SG1 is captured by the Jaffa of a Goa'uld they had not yet met. However, this one in particular was different. She was not a proper System Lord, yet she she seemed to have more advanced technology than all the rest combined, living on said planet instead of terrorizing the galaxy. Better summary inside. T for normal SG1 action scenes.

Missing scene from 'Affinity.' What pushed Sam into accepting Pete's ring? Very angsty! Complete.

It's tough being a member of the SGC and it's even tougher being more than attached to your teammate also in the SGC but no matter what gets in their way, Sam and Jack will always come back to each other and that was all the reassurance that they both needed while their unspoken love still remained unspoken.

A new spin-off series: Exploring worlds though the stargate is one thing, but sometimes things brought back through the stargate can be just as dangerous. The Millennium Expedition finds out that even the smallest thing may prove to be as dangerous as the big ones.
