A post-ep reaction fic to "Watershed." Basically, how my spastic brain reacted to the cliffhanger. Second chapter added because my brain just won't stop going after that finale.

A co-authored story by seilleanmor and chezchuckles. An argument between them causes Castle to give Beckett the silent treatment. References to Target/Hunt, Lives of Others, Squab, and Still. Watershed has not happened.

Final chapter is up, and there are a few surprises. Based on some 5x24 spoilers. Bracken plays a role in my world. I understand the writers say he won't , but I felt this opportunity was too big to give up. You also get to see Martha, Alexis and Jim, and see their thoughts on Kate and Castle's situation.

Rick was Kate's best friend! They'd been tight buddies since Kate's first week here at Brooke High. But as the days go by she realizes that they were never really friend's to begin with. They were much more. Total AU fic. I've read similar fics, so i thought I'd give it a try too :) I don't own Castle.
