Everyone expects him to be a hero, but he sure doesn't feel like one. All he feels like is second best. [Set during Hand of God. A look at Lee's thoughts and fears as he prepares for his mission to destroy the Cylon's tylium refinery, as well as his reaction to the immediate aftermath. And as always with the BSG stories I write, a little bit of Bill & Lee father/son fluff.]

The colonies are at war with the cylons, some planets have been destroyed, others occupied, and a few are left as human strongholds. Thirteen year old Kara and her best friend, Zak Adama, are on the run, unsure of what their fate if captured by the cylons. Meanwhile, a war wages, the battlestar galactica, one of the last of its kind, fights on for all those they have lost.

With New Caprica behind them, the Cylons and the Humans struggle to find the path to Earth. Sam recovers from his ordeal, as his visions get worse, while Kara dreams of Hera. Their destiny is to meet again, but the truth might break them first.

Commander William Adama is assigned the task of sailing King Richard's cousin, Lady Laura, to Kobol Island. A/U obviously!

This is a series of drabbles, so no chapter should be more than 500 words. I got this idea from another writer and honestly, writing in short bits is much better than whole stories. Enjoy!
