There are strange creatures yet unknown to Middle Earth, for they exist beyond the borders of the known world. This is the tale of the surviving child of Celebrimbor of Eregion and how she fared through the Ages of the world. This story was a standalone, posted here over a decade ago. However, since I just finished a prequel to it (A Red Sun Rises), I am currently rewriting all chapters to merge the two stories, with a little bit more emphasis on the minor characters and OCs. More than 20 years after the War of the Ring, new attacks from Mordor threaten the happiness of Aragorn's and Legolas' families. Arwen's twin brothers seem to have come up with an insane plan just at the right time to fight the danger. When Eldarion is being captured along with Gimli and Éomer, the situation becomes increasingly dramatic.

An elf awakens from centuries of sleep on the western coast of Middle-earth. She has a locket around her neck, a sword at her side and no idea of who she is, but as she travels inland, discoveries about her past become disturbing. Trying to take her second chance at true love and a new life, she realises that escaping from her history might not be as easy as she had hoped.

Grima Wormtongue barely survives Legolas's arrow in Isengard. He is sent to Lothlorien to seek recovery from the elves, as he no longer has a place in the kingdom of Rohan where he is regarded as nothing more than a treacherous, villainous snake. In Lothlorien, he is placed under the care of Lady Tathareth, a mysterious and reclusive healer that takes interest in him.

From the top of Barad-Dur the lord of Mordor sees all. His gaze pierces clouds, water, stone and flesh. He's been planning this war for hundreds of years. Nothing can escape him, absolutely nothing. Not even a bunch of idiots mounted on eagles.

It is now up to friends to help him cope, but can they keep Legolas from fading? Rated for rape (*mostly* implied) and the heavy emotional toll it takes on Legolas.
