Harry had visited slytherin Castle with his grandmother they were surprised to find that the castle was very much maintained as Salazar slytherin had ordered the house elves to keep the castle maintained until his heir returns and the house elf's from generations had been working there from many generations of their family he also found that Salazar slytherin had created a dungeons such that his familiar could live there easily so Harry had transported salina from chamber of secrets to slytherin castle and told the elfs to serve her well and he would be visiting often

Harry was having a good day he was excited as he would go to meet his friends the next day and he was waiting to meet Daphne he had last seen from the kings cross station as Greengrass family had taken a long trip to America to visit their family who lived their he had gotten a lot of call from her but he did miss her if he wished he could go to her today but he had go to training in Potter Castle in Dover he was excited about that.

"Hi Harry" Thomas greeted him as he entered through floo he greeted Charlus and Dorea and headed to the meeting room soon James and Lily arrived who also headed to the meeting room after all the greeting.

"So tell me why Voldermort targeted the twins" Charlus asked James straight away without wasting any time James was having a biscuit in his mouth he finished the biscuit and started to talk

" Actually there is a prophecy that one who could destroy voldemort will be born at the end of the seventh month so it was us or Longbottoms' ' James sighed that the blasting prophecy was the reason their family was separated and they didn't have a close relationship with their eldest.

"wait you told me that Dumbledore told that voldermort is targeting all the members of your small Bird group right why didn't you tell me about prophecy I even told you to stay in castle but no you idiot trusted Dumbledore more than us i nearly lost my wife because of you" Charlus yelled at James who was pale. Charlus was feeling betrayed his own son had hidden a huge thing from him as Head of House Potter he knew how worse prophecy's could lead to it was the main reason for near end of Potter Family

"Da...Dad I am sorry I didn't tell you but I was scared about the family even I thought that we should stay in castle no one could penetrate into the wards but I don't suddenly I felt to follow dumbledore's orders" James looked at charlus pleadingly

"Fine that old coot would have used compulsion charm or something like that that's the reason idiot I told you to wear your Potter ring all time which will defend you from all these charms Lilly from now on I want you both to wear the rings all time we can't risk to divide our family again there are many waiting to finish Potter line I can't allow that. Now tell me what the prophecy was" Charlus ordered both of them. He looked around and saw Harry thinking something deeply but he ignored it. Charlus had sent Thomas and Rosy to play around the castle.

James and Lily nodded and Lily spoke

"The Prophecy said "The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives... the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies..." it was given to dumbledore by Sybill Trelawney's" Lilly told him and could see Charlus thinking deeply at this they all were silent but it was broken by Dorea who told everyone to have dinner and continue their little conversation , everyone in the room left except Charlus and Harry.

"Harry what are you thinking so deeply don't worry we will increase your training so that you can defeat Voldermort easily when he returns" Charlus told Harry

"No grandfather it's not about that but I was thinking am I turning into dumbledore like a manipulating shit I mean even I am hiding things and manipulating Daphne by not telling her about the marriage contract" Harry looked at Charlus who was smiling at him

"No Harry you are not like dumbledore yes that manipulating part is right you can tell Daphne about the contract right away if you want I will tell Lord Greengrass to tell her about the contract" Charlus told Harry

"Yes grandfather please do that I will talk to Daphne after that and I never was never will be scared of Tom Riddle" Harry told

"Yes Tom Riddle I got some information about him from my sources from ministry that he was born to Tom Riddle a muggle and Merope Gaunt a squib from Gaunt family who used love potion on Tom Riddle Sr and got pregnant with his child but soon Tom Riddle Sr left her and she died giving birth and after that the boy was grown in muggle orphanage and was told about magic by dumbledore after that the boy went to dark path and here is the Strongest Dark Lord of the country Voldermort'' Charlus told as he shivered thinking what would have happened if Harry was sent to some muggles after James and Lily decided to abandon him if he decided to go dark, he would have been the strongest dark lord ever ,Harry wielded a lot of power not to mention about Family Magic he would have learnt it any way as magic had accepted him as the heir. Merlin he would have killed Dumbledore in seconds if they had dueled but yes Harry had to undergo a lot of training to reach his true potential but Charlus had started teaching Harry Family magic.

"Yea just think how these Nott, Yaxley and other pure bloods who supports him when they get to know that he is Half blood and just a son of a Muggle and Squib" Harry said and it was true those families thought had a lot pride of being Pureblood but they were kissing a Halfbloods ass.

Harry Charlus both left to have dinner, soon after dinner Potter Family was in living room

"Lily, what do you know about muggleborns?" asked Charlus.

"They are technically first generation magical folk aren't they? Their parents are non-magical but the children show magical abilities." Lily replied

"That is where you are wrong." Smiled Charlus. "Tell me, how did magic just randomly manifest itself into only a few children whose parents are muggles? Why not all of them? What causes this to happen? What makes them so very special? Isn't there a more logical explanation that the magic has been lying dormant in such families for a few generations due to which it has become strong enough to finally express itself years after it first died out?"

"You mean like squibs?" asked James.

"Exactly. A more logical explanation is that old family lines which died out due to squibs revived themselves years later and expressed themselves as – for lack of a better word, as muggleborns."

"So all muggleborns are actually members of an ancient house that has died out years ago in some sense?" gasped James.

"Yes" Charlus replied

"So we now need to find Lily's origins." Stated James.

"No I have already done this and Lily you were the descendant of Slytherin from your Fathers side and a family named Ashwood from your mothers side when the two family squib line met magic resurfaced in you" Charlus stated

There was complete silence in the room. The couple in front of Charlus were trying to digest the news they got.

"This is how Harry is heir of slytherin and Thomas can speak parseltongue" Lily said

"Yes exactly" Charlus said

"But it can't be true I was Gryffindor and I cannot speak Parseltongue" Lily said

"Lily, you are a descendant of Slytherin doesn't mean you can't be Gryffindor. Slytherin told that main trait in their family was green eyes and Parseltoungue but parseltongue was never seen each everyone of his family and I know you are fearing about being descendant of a dark lord but no slytherin never was a dark lord it was his adoptive son who was a dark lord whose descendant now is a dark lord Voldermort" Charlus said as he handed letter of slytherin to lily and james who started to read it

After reading the letter both had tears in their eyes and they got their emotion back in control in a few moments.

"Dad, you said about the ashwood family, what about that?" Lily said.

"Ashwood family was a perfect light family which went extinct during 1786" Charlus said

"What is the difference between a perfectly light family and a light family?" Lily asked

"Perfectly light means it originated and continued as light but light family means it recently shifted to light look like Potter family is perfectly Grey family but because of my idiotic son its now a epitome of light" Charlus said James bent his head in embarrassment.

"But in history It is said Potters always fight dark lord doesn't it make them light" Lily asked

"No we fought with dark lords because its our responsibility and not being light doesn't mean you should not support welfare of ones own country" Charlus said sighing he now realised where all these manipulations of Dumbledore started it started from Hogwarts where he had his control on future generations when dumbledore became Headmaster he removed many subjects from curriculum of Hogwarts like Magic laws and Magical Customs in which each every muggle born would learn about Magical customs and many other things like elf magic and their bonding which now muggle born called barbariac traditions and slavery what not he now had to make a move and add those subjects back when Pureblood heirs can study Muggle studies why cant Muggle born and Muggle raised study Magical customs and Laws.

"Lily now I have come to decision on making heirs of those 2 families you can't be heiress as old families have rules in which a Lady cannot be the head of house so Slytherin heir will be Harry as Family magic has selected him and Thomas will be Ashwood heir only if you no problem in it" finished charlus

"Yes I am okay with it" Lily said smiling at her newly found heritage

"Here take this it's a permanent portkey to Slytherin castle when you are all free you all can go on a visit and about Ashwood properties I don't know as I cant feel it and Thomas can but when he wears the ring" Harry said handing a cloth on which slytherin emblem was present to Lily and he turned to james and smirked

"But I advise you not to go to dungeons because Salina is residing there and wait there's no problem in going to dungeons as i have ordered her to keep her gaze shut until ordered" Harry finished seeing James horrified face it seemed he would fall of the chair any moment in fear

"I have made a decision that Thomas will not be handed Heir ring until he has proven his worth and as I heard from Harry this year e was easily manipulated by dumbledore again why does he get into so much trouble and doesn't he have good friends other than that Weasley that manner less boy and that bossy girl' Charlus said as he remembered Thomas with his friends in station.

The couple just nodded

"Weasley were and Ancient and Noble family and one of the founding 15 of wizengamot but they were stripped of their wealth and seat for an heinous acts which their ancestor committed so tell me James how is the present head of Weasley clan" Charlus had a twinkle in his eyes which Dorea remembered him of having only when he was in politics.

As soon as Dorea saw the topic of discussion turning into Politics she stood up gave an excuse and left which was followed by Lily and then Harry who had no interest in boring Politics Harry headed to his bed it was late in night he was tired today hell he was exhausted to core already his siblings were sent to their room in Potter Castle when the family had finished dinner. Harry also fell on his bed and instantly fell asleep.

Next morning James and family left leaving Charlus ,Dorea and Harry behind when Charlus told that they decided to do about Marriage contract she smiled at them and praised Harry

Charlus sent a letter to Lord Greengrass telling that to tell Daphne about the contract who in turn send an invitation to them for Greengrass Castle for lunch so that they could discuss the contract in which Harry was told to present a ring to Daphne an heirloom ,his grandmother told him to give her the ring of Iolanthe potter nee Peverell who was a enchantress.

Harry nodded he was worried how Daphne would react to it. After all everyone feared ice queen and she didn't like people hiding things which concerned her and she hex his bits he had only little time to prepare should wear his war armor inside his clothes or maybe he take few guards with him or a nice armor would be fine shit it would be awkward to wear such a big armor inside his clothes he had to run to Dover to get secret armor Harry started rambling to himself after all ice queen was not weak and mainly je wouldn't expect her to be chummy with him after what he had done shit he was done, seeing his face his grandfather started laughing understanding his situation.

"We Potters are all the same, we can fight a filthy dark lord alone but I think being with women that scare us is a Potter curse" Charlus told Harry with a grin

"So it's a curse being with me is it?" Dorea asked casually, but Harry had gotten used to knowing that that in fact was a warning tone, warning his Grandfather to choose his next words very carefully.

"Of course not, it is and always has been a delight," Charlus returned quickly, placing a gentle kiss on her cheek and offering her a winning smile.

Seeing this Harry started laughing

"The great Charlus Potter whom even Grindelwald feared who is lion outside but kitten inside his home in front of his wife" Harry sated Dorea also started laughing

"Young man if i was you i would fear my future more than making fun of my grandfather and as i have heard from my sources Daphne is a talented witch and very ill tempered if she has your grandmother's temper i would look after my Ba..."

"CHARLUS" Dorea warned him

"Okay fine, look Harry wait till you're married we will see who will be Basilisk outside and a Garden Gnome in front of his wife. Tell me harry did you receive a warm welcome when you stepped out of Chamber of secrets according to my sources it was well a very warm welcome" Charlus teased Harry

"Which warm welcome is your grandfather talking about Harry will you not tell me" Dorea said seeing Harry go red in embarrassment

"Oh Dora ,Harry here when he came out of Chamber of secrets after saving 2 lives got a warm hug from a rather beautiful blue eyed Slytherin and if my source was right and that beautiful witch was sobbing on Harry's shoulder" Charlus said grinning Dorea also started smiling at Harry who murmured "Rigel you traitor" and went towards floo and he told his grandparents he was going to Black Manor he left to give his Traitor Brother in all but blood a life time lesson .
