A/N this story will be set in a military type background. non-military are called civilians children of enlisted men/women are called Brats. no matter the branch. I am an Army Brat, and proud of it. This is a story that hit close to home. Names and idenitaties have been changed to save embarrassment. My name is Edward Cullen. I'm 21 and a private in the U.S. Army. I'm stationed at in peirce, WA. Only a 3 hour drive to Forks, where my parents and I live. I never thought I'd join the military, but, it wasn't my choice. It was either join or go to jail. I had several arrests for petty shit. Smoking marijuana, taking my parents car w/o permission, etc. A couple of B&E's, But due to my extensive juvienile shit. The judge got tired of me fucking up. so military or jail. I decided i'd rather go the military route. HA! Jail might have been a vacation compaired to this shit. I have a mean ass seargent to deal with. Charles Swan PITA (pain in the ass). I noticed on this particular day there was a cute girl standing next to .
She kept looking at me and would smile this cute, shy . Swan gave us a 15 minute break. When he did, I walked off then, I heard "HI, my name is Bella" Then I zoned out. "Hello? are you listening" Then I saw her snapping her fingers in my face. " Oh, sorry, I zoned out," " i was telling you my name. "OH, HI. I'm Edward. Edward Cullen" "hi edward, edward cullen" Then I heard BELLA! being roared out of our sargents mouth "WHAT?! LEAVE CULLEN ALONE, GO HOME, NOW! "she saluted him and said "whatever old man, and walked off" Who was this girl that had the balls to talk to Sgt Swan like that? CULLEN! YES, SIR? GET YOUR ASS BACK IN LINE, NOW! YES, SIR, SORRY SIR. Dammit, I'd really like to get to know her better. oh well, guess that will never happen. Later that day. I decided to take a swim at the local pool. I needed to losen my muscles and cool off. Washington was having a heat wave. When I walked into the pool area, I saw her, again. Bella was there. I looked around for her father but I didn't see him.I walked over to her and reintroduced myself. She was so damed cute. She is tiny compaired to me. I'm 6'2 and she hits my navel. So she has to be 5'4 very long brown hair almost to her waist. and big brown eyes. She had a toddler with her. Unsure if it's her sister or another relative. I walked up to her "HI, remember me?" She seemed flustered she looked around for the little girl then smiled at me and said "HI, yeah I remember you" Out for a swim? Relaxation, Sgt Swan, your dad pushed us hard today. I don't think he likes me, I whispered. She laughed and said, yeah, probably not. since he caught us talking. The little girl said "hi" and I stooped to her eye level "Hi, whats your name?" Cwair. Bella smiled and said her name is Claire. Is she your sister? Bella turned red and said no' shes my daughter. I just stood there with my mouth open, like an idiot. She hung her head and said "yeah that's the usual reaction I get. I asked her if she would like to go sit at one of the tables and talk. She followed me over to the back corner of the patio and we sat at a nice table with a huge umbrella to shade the sun. It wasn't super hot but with the sun beating down on your skin it was very hot. Bella i'm going to be nosy.

Jake lives on the nearby reservation and his friends and family were not happy about our incident. He offered to marry me, but I said No. "why?, may I ask? I didn'want a pity proposal and admittedly that's all it was. He was trying to make things look better. Well, that answers one of my questions. "what question would that be? Are you related to a Master Sgt Swan? I knew you were going to ask that, and yes, he's my granddad. That is who Claire and I live with. Is he a hardass like your dad? HA, no, he's a teddy bear. there is a company picnic this weekend are you going to be there? "yes, my granddad is too and so Claire and I are tagging along. You gonna be there? Yeah, I'll look for you. OK, cool. Bella, can I have your number? Sure and she punched her numbers in my phone. "when I call you, then you will have my number too, sound good? Yeah. If I don't hear from you I will see you ,Saturday, at the picnic. I still have questions about you, Cullen. Then she and Claire walked away, waving. I never thought I'd want to date a girl with a child, but damn I want to go out with her, and more. But knowing who her father and grandfather are I'm kind of scared shitless. I know Sgt. Swan knows my background. I'm sure that is why he gives off the vibe of not liking me. And just him knowing that and me wanting to date his daughter is hilarious. Dammit Cullen. Standing next to my dad while he was yelling shit at the newbies made me a little embarrassed. Especially due to this one guy. Damn, he was f.i.n.e. fine. Messy golden hair,his head wasn't shaved, like the rest. I wonder why, with a hint of red, especially when the sun would hit it. He was tall and slender but muscular at the same time. His voice was like smooth wine. Dad let them take a 15 minute break. When he walked off. I followed him. "HI, my name is Bella. HELLO? can you hear me? as I snapped my fingers in his face. He finally answered. Sorry, I zoned out for a minute. He said his name was Edward Cullen *swoon* that name, Edward, seems old fashioned but oh well. He was hot and I was drooling. Once he finds out that I have a toddler, nothing will progress. Plus he's a G.I. and my dad would have a cardiac, and never let me go out with him IF it ever went that far. Get over it Bella. He will never want to date you. Quit dreaming. Dad yelled at me to go home. I was so fed up with him treating me like one of his guys. I just yelled back and called him an old man. I decided to leave, but, on the way home I decided to pack up Claire and go to the local pool. They had a nice wading pool for toddlers. And it was scorching out. Washington decided to have a heat wave. I got home, Told my granddad that I was taking Claire to the pool. He waved me off. Claire and I live with my grandfather and grandmother. There is no way in hell I could live with Charlie, my dad. Especially with him telling me what I'm doing wrong with raising Claire.
We arrived at the pool, and it was busy. I went to the window to check in and grab Claire a life jacket. Rules. No children under 12 allowed w/o a life jacket. I was walking around, debating if I wanted to get in the water or not. It was really busy. Then I saw a familiar face. It was that hot G.I. Edward. dammit. He would see Claire. Great, there goes my dream. "hi, Bella, remember me?" Yeah, Edward, right? "yeah, is that your sister?" no, she's my daughter. He just stood there, in shock. and here we go "oh, um how old is she? She is 18 months, will be 2 in November. "Bella? How old are you?" I'm 19. "really? I thought you were younger" yeah I get that, a lot. Then he started asking questions about Jake, Claire's father. I quickly explained our relationship, or what used to be our relationship. Since Claire, our relationship has been null. He calls every so often. Invites me to come to the rez, with Claire of course. But I am still bitter and can't bring myself to do so. I never got to ask Edward any questions due to Claire becomming fussy and I knew she needed to go home and take a nap. Edward asked if I was going to attend the company picnic. And I am. I'm going to accompany my grandfather and grandmother in thier chauffeured car. Granddad can't drive any longer. Which really pisses him off. Unbeknownst to me Charlie had invited Jake to come too, but he was driving his own car there. UGH i did not want him to come. I wanted to stroll off with Edward and talk. But, NO Dad had to ruin it for me. Shit.
When Jake saw me, he came over, grabbed my hand and picked up Claire. She sat on his bent arm and had her little arms around his neck. She knows he's her father and calls him daddy. But I'm still uncomfortable with it. I don't want to keep her from him, it's not fair to her, or him, but its his fault, mainly. With Jake, was Sam and Seth. Sam is HUGE and towers over Jakes 6'6 height. Seth is only 14 so he's still slight in stature but the sweetest of them all. He plays with Claire all the time and she loves it. As we were walking towards the beach area. The picnic was at a lake near the base, I saw Edward. I tried to let go of Jakes hand but he wouldn't let go. He finally let go, since I was yanking at his hand. He leaned down and asked "what's wrong?" then he noticed I was looking at Edward. I walked off, towards him. "hi Edward."

I rode to the picnic with my friend, Jasper. I walked around, for a bit, looking for Bella. When I saw her she was with three native Americans, no denying what they were, holy shit, the one guy was HUGE. I also noticed Bella was holding hands with one of them. Why was I jealous? I thought they weren't an item, and I had no right to be jealous, she isn't mine, yet. I assumed it was Jake since he was holding Claire and she resembled him. When Bella saw me, she was struggling with letting his hand loose. He then followed Bella over to where I was standing. She introduced us, Edward, this is Jake, Claires father, This hulk is Sam and this fella is Seth. "hey guys" Damn that Sam guy could put my brother Emmett to shame. This guy towered over Jake and Jakes tall. The younger one, Seth, asked Claire if she wanted to go swing. and she started wiggling to get out of Jakes arms. She and Seth, ran off to the swing area. About that time someone yelled "foods done" and everyone ran to the main area. Except for Bella and myself. We walked off, hand in hand for some private conversation.
So, Edward, Bella began. I never got to ask you any questions. So, your family lives Here, in Washington Any siblings? "yeah, I have a younger sister, Alice and an older brother Emmett" I thought he was big until I saw Sam. Damn. That boy is huge" Yeah, it's like he grew overnight. Jake was the same. Edward, how long have you been enlisted? "2 years." what made you want to enlist? "OH HA, it wasn't my choice, ok well it was but it was between military or jail" OH CRAP, what did you get in trouble for? "Petty crap. I took my parents car w/o their permission and I was caught with pot and was charged with intent to distribute, which I wasn't. That shit was mine and I wasn't going to share. I smiled, slyly. She just said "oh" and I gave her this look like I was embarrassed. She asked me "Are you ashamed of what you did?" yeah, I said and I toed the dirt with my right foot. Especially putting my parents through the ringer. I didn't think of the things it would put them through, especially when I took their car. I asked her if my stupidity made her weary of me. "NO, we've all done stupid shit, sometime in our lives. Mine just happens to be a toddler. I don't regret having her, I just regret the process that had to happen in order to have her, if you know what I mean. About that time, Seth came over and brought Bella a plate with a burger, chips and beans on it. Then he told her that Claire had eaten a hot dog and some chips and he left her with Sam and Jake. She thanked him for the plate and keeping claire safe and entertained. I then said "I guess I should grab something to eat before it's all gone. We walked over to the table, hand in hand, Sgt Swan gave us the stink eye. Claire came over "mommy" and grabbed her leg. I introduced Bella to my friend Jasper. Charlie pulled Bella off to the side, but I don't know what he told her.

I was getting tired and so was Claire. So I asked grandad if i could take his car home? He said yes. But first I wanted him to meet Edward. So I grabbed Edward by the hand and pulled him over. Edward I want you to meet my grandfather. he got nervous almost instantly. Do you really think that's a good idea? Oh come on scardy cat. As my grandfather sat shaking Edwards hand, Charlie came over. "Cullen, what do you think you're doing? "Charles, leave the poor boy alone, damn, Bella was introducing him to me. Stay out of it. I wanted to smile but I didn't . I loved my grandfather and his no nonsense ways. I was embarrased about him saying " the fella you've been talking about" Color me red. I offered to drop Edward off also, but he was going to stick around until Jasper wanted to leave. He also mentioned they might grab a drink from the local bar before heading back to their barracks. He walked me to my grandfathers car, we were holding hands. I liked the feel of it, it was much different from holding Jacobs huge, hot hand. Edwards hand is smaller, still strong, but not as hot. It felt comfortable, to me. When we arrived at the car. Edward leaned down and whispered in my ear "may I kiss you?" I turned to face him and smiled. His lips were on mine in a split second. My arms went around his neck, his did the same with me. Claire was holding my leg and jumping from foot to foot. She was getting anxious. Edward stopped the kiss then asked "can I tell everyone you're my girl?" I smiled and nodded my head, slightly. He smiled too. As I got in the back seat and buckled Claire in her booster seat. Edward came to my window, leaned in and said "I'll call you later, then he kissed me again, a quick peck that time.

I enjoyed the afternoon. I really enjoyed walking off with Bella and talking. She's easy to talk to. I met her grandfather, at first, I was nervous, but he seems like a nice man. I laughed, internally, when Sgt. Swan was schooled by his father, in front of me and Bella. Shortly, there after, Bella wanted to leave. Seems that Claire and Bella were both tired, and hot. So she asked her grandfather if she could use his car and driver to take her home. She offered to drop me off also, but Jasper and I had already made plans to go out for some drinks, later. Dammit, I should have invited Bella. Wait, she's only 19, can't legally drink, yet. Oh well, maybe next time. When I got home, took a shower, changed into something more comfortable to wear.I flopped on my bed and called Bella. She sounded tired. I offered to hang up and call her later but she said no, it was fine. "I'm going to sound like a jealous boyfriend, but, why were you and Jake holding hands? OH, it's kind of a habit with us. We've done it for years. It doesn't mean anything, to me. "I bet it does to him though." Edward? Does it bother you? If it does then I'll put a stop to it. "it makes me uncomfortable and a little possesive. "sorry, but I want to be honest with you." Bella got quiet. Shit, did I upset her? Bella? Yes. Sorry i dozed off for a second. Bella, let me call you later, or better yet, you call me once you and Claire are up and moving around. I whispered " i loved our walk today" She mumbled something about walking. I assumed she was answering me.
2 hours later, Bella called me. "Well, hello gorgeous. thought you forgot about me". NO, never. When Claire sleeps, i sleep. She took a long nap, so I did too. I had a good time today, Edward. I enjoyed our walk also. I have something to ask you. I have to go to the Commissary and the PX for my grandparents, would you like to tag along? I'm using their car/driver. We can pick you up along the way. Actually, yes, I need to grab a few things also. "Well, make a list. I'll be there in about 30 minutes. WAIT! What barracks do you stay in? Um, are you familiar with them? "yeah, duh" OH yeah, I guess you would be. We stay in the C barracks. bottom floor. OK see you in 30. I ran around trying to get my shit together before she arrived. I felt like a little kid going to the circus for the first time. Jasper laughed at me. I threw my shoe at him, he ducked and gave me the finger. I just laughed at him. He did ask me to grab him some items at the PX. handed me a 20$ bill and told me to have a good time. The car pulled up almost exactly 30 minutes later. The driver blew the horn, even though I was already on the steps waiting. Bella leaned out her window and waved at me. I jogged over to the car. When I climbed in the backseat. Bella moved Claire's booster seat over. WHich had Bella in the middle of the seat, next to me. She laid her open hand in the seat, I grabbed it, and we twined our fingers. I noticed the driver glanced in the mirror and smiled. Bella just put her finger to her lips and the driver gave her a slight nod.

Shit I didn't mean to sleep for 2 hours. Claire was still sound asleep but I woke up due to the sun beaming down on the bed. The curtain was open slightly. My grandmother came upstairs to check on me. Then asked if I felt like doing some shopping for her. I didn't mind. I called Edward and asked if he wanted to tag along with me. He said yes, he needed to grab a few things too. about that time Claire woke up. I got her changed into something more comfortable for the hot weather. My phone rang while I was getting her dressed. It was Sams wife, Emily. She wanted to know if she could have Claire for the weekend. I gave a silent fist pump and said "Sure, what's up?" She said her niece was going to be at the Rez for a few days and she figured the girls would get along. I was giddy looking forward to a childless weekend. Plus Jake and Billy could spend time with her too. After Claire and I were ready we sat on the porch swing and waited for the driver, Felix, to get to the car and drive us into town. The base is small, smaller than others we've lived in, but not small enough to walk through especially on a hot day like today. I was hoping for some clouds and rain. I hate the heat. Edward was sitting on the steps when we arrived. He jogged over to the car. I slid claires seat over towards the other side, Edward slid in and I scooted closer to him. I offered him my hand, which he took. I gave Felix a shhhh signal when he saw us. He just smiled. Felix is a good guy. I trust him. Where to first Miss Bella? Um PX, since i have to grab some refrigerated items for grams. Yes M'am. So, off to the PX we headed. I know where everything is in the PX so I just ran up and down certain aisles. Grabbing female stuff, and bathroom necessities. Edward grabbed himself and Jasper some shaving gel and disposable razors. And some Kiwi brand boot/buckle polish. I called granddad and asked if he needed any. He did, There is going to be a formal ball which means he has to dress in full uniform. so i grabbed him a tin of it also. I grabbed Edwards arm and pulled him down to my mouth. Guess what? "what?" Claire is going to be spending the weekend with Sam and his wife. you know what that means? "um, you're going to have the whole weekend to yourself? "yep" Exactly. And i wagged my eyebrows at Edward. What the hell Bella? Just tell him you want to fuck him out loud why don't you.

Bella ran up and down the aisles in the PX like lightening. She knew where everything was located. Then she whispered in my ear about her being alone this weekend. Did she just imply what I think she did, when she wagged her eyebrows at me? I hope so because it would be a dream come true, for me. I asked her out for Friday night and she accepted. "Why, what's wrong with the childs father?" Well, apparently he took advantage of Bella when she was in a vunerable situation, I shrugged. Unsure, but that's the feeling I got from her. Things didn't end well. and it ruined their friendship. "yeah, you don't want to mess up a friendship especially with screwing that ends up with a child" Jasper, she has the entire weekend child free. Want to drive to Forks and fuck off for the weekend? i could use the break. We need to clear it with Sgt Swan if he gives us the OK then I'm in, sure!. So, we walked down the road to Sgt. Swans office to ask permission for a weekend pass. Sgt Swan gave us a weekend pass with the stipulation that we had to be back, on post, by midnight Sunday, or is that Monday? I never could get that right. We could leave at 1700 hrs Friday. I was so happy. I ran back to our place. Racing Jasper on the way. I won! I turned around, running backwards, and gave Jasper the finger, then fell flat on my ass in shrubbery. Jasper was laughing so hard he almost pissed his pants. There were other guys outside and they were witness to it, also. They laughed too. I just stood up, took a bow and walked in the air conditioned building. I called Bella to let her know what time we could leave. I told her that I'd like to take her to a bar in my hometown of Forks. She got really quiet. "um, Edward, I can't drink." I know but you can share a sip or two of my drinks, right? And they have a karaoke night. "I can't sing, Edward" I can, plus I have a song I want to dedicate to you, especially for this weekend. "OK sounds like it might be fun" Cool, Jasper and I will pick you up around 8, is that alright? YES! I can't wait. I Love Claire but I need this weekend so bad! You don't understand how bad. "I might have an idea" Bella giggled at me, when I said that.

"Don't worry, grams shes only going to be gone for 3 days" "I know but I miss the little bug when shes not here". Then Emily left. Grams asked "do you have any plans for this weekend?" I told her I was going off with Private Cullen and Private Whitlock on Friday. "two Privates, Bella?, alone?" Grams. Private Whitlock is just tagging along, designated driver and all. "Bella? Friday came and when 1700 hours rolled around I was raring to go. Jasper kept making fun of me. I would just ignore him, most of the time. I wanted to be with Bella. I wanted to have slow, wonderful sex with her, but I understood that she might not want to. Since she had, had a bad experience with Jacob. I needed/wanted to mark her, badly. I will ask though. "Be down in a second" When she stood at the top of the stairs, I about choked. She had on tight, tight, short, shorts and a fish net, top covering a blue bra. And a pair of sling backs on her feet. I know this due to my sister. OH, MY GOD My cock decided he wanted some attention, right then and there. I had to try and adjust myself. I turned around, facing the door and tried to give myself a pep talk. I heard her grandfather, clear his throat. I turned around to face Bella, again. Private Cullen, you be good to my granddaughter. and bring her home in one peice. Instead of talking out loud, I sent her a text about "marking her" She smiled and gave me a slight nod. I leaned over and started kissing her. Then I stopped kissing her lips, and started kissing her neck, and I stopped at her neck. and made sure to leave a mark clear enough for any fella out there to see that she is mine and only mine. She could mark me too if she wanted. I would love that. and I told her so. She smiled again, and she ended up marking me as well. I was so fucking happy. Oh God what if she agrees to having sex with me. I won't be able to wipe the smile off my face.

I was sort of embarrassed to walk out of my room with what I had on. I had on a pair of really tight shorts, i know my ass cheeks were showing. and I had on a blue bra with a black fishnet shirt over top and a pair of light blue sling backs on my feet. I put my hair up on top of my head and let some of it hang over my shoulders. I add a small spritz of some cologne I bought at Victorias Secret. And he had two beautiful tattoo sleeves. Whomever did them did a fantastic job. We sat in the back seat, right next to each other, I could have sat in his lap, We were that close. I got a text and frowned everyone knew I was going out. I told everyone to leave me alone. but I promised my dad and grandfather I would not turn my phone off , I read the message, it was from Edward, what the hell? We were right next to each other. I whisper "bella?, baby, can you hear me, if you can, squeeze my hand, or open your eyes, please, I miss you, I love you" She just made a moaning sound. Better then nothing. I'll take it. I walked to the door, looked for my father. A nurse walked by, "Dr, Cullen, where is he?" The nurse pointed to the room across the hall. I made sure the nurse stayed with Bella, I didn't want to leave her alone. "Carlisle?" Hey, son. "what does the scan show?" She looks good. Just a slight concussion, she should be waking up any day now. "she moaned and I think she tried to say something when I spoke to her" Well, lets go see, shall we? "bella, bella, this is Carlisle, Edwards father. you're in the hospital, on base. can you hear me? open your eyes, sweetheart." Carlisle took the light thing and looked in her eyes. They dialated when he shined the light in her eye. She moaned again. Edward I think she will wake up, soon. Maybe in the morning. They have her heavily sadated for the pain. I'm sure without it she would be in severe pain. I'm going to slowly ween her off of it. Maybe that will help her wake up. But if she is in too much pain I will start it back up again. "ok, I"m going to stay with her tonight" I didn't doubt you would. Jake popped his head in the door and let me know he was leaving, with Claire to head back to Forks. "mommy, kiss and she made her lips smack together making kissing noises. Jake leaned down so Claire could kiss Bella. "bye bye mommy, I wuv you then she blew her a kiss. My heart broke a little more seeing that. I told Jake I would keep him updated and said goodbye to Claire. "bye Claire" she waved and said bye bye. Carlisle left shortly after Jake. I looked in the closet of her room to see if there was an extra pillow or blanket and there was, so I settled in the recliner, in her room. bpov I had a horrible dream. I was walking down the road, after having a bad fight with Edward, I was leaving him, I was carrying Claire, when this car came at us, like a bat out of hell. I screamed and ran to the grassy section of the roadside. I landed on Claire, who started crying. "claire, Claire, mommys right here baby. I'm so sorry, I looked her over, but she was fine. I on the other hand, had skinnned up knees and my shoulder was hurting. I screamed for Edward. I was crying and rocking Claire in my arms, Edward, I"m so sorry. I'm stupid, I'm sorry. It's all my fault. Please forgive me. I kept hearing someone say my name "Bella, Bella, it's OK babe, open your eyes. You are safe. I opened my eyes, to see Edward standing over me. A nurse was by his side. She was checking my vitals. Apparently my dream wasn't far off of what really happened to me. Edward explained what did happen. Then told me that Jake had came and picked up Claire. I finally settled down but started crying harder. I had to go pee. Edward helped me up, then we both realized, when I stood that I had started my period, how embarassing. Edward went to the nurses station to ask for help and explained what had happened, the nurse came in and gave me a fresh gown, stripped the bed, put on clean sheets and helped me to the bathroom, thankfully the damn catheter was gone. My IV was the problem. I wanted to take a shower but due to the IV I would have to wait. I asked Edward if I was dreaming of his father being here, "no, he's here, I wanted him to be your doctor so your grandfather sent for him. "OH wow! thats fantastic. I wanted to hug him but the damn sling on my arm stopped that. Yeah, your grandfather said he has a duplex for us that we can rent for 300 a month. 2 bed, 2 bath, fenced in back yard nice kitchen. "OH I can't wait to see it. How about I go look and take pictures for you? How about you go and take video for me? I smiled. I was sore everywhere. My face was bruised due to the air bag. I looked like I had been a punching bag for someone. I felt it too. Carlisle came in and said he was releasing me. Edward and I both let out a sigh. The nurse came in and took out the IV. I wanted to take a shower, first. I felt stinky. Plus with starting my period, ick. I really, really needed to wash my hair. I went to the bathroom to start the water getting hot. I walked out to the room, got a little dizzy, wobbled a little, Edward caught me, before I fell. "woah, babe, you OK?" yeah, just a little woozy is all. Hopefully the shower will help. I might need your help washing my hair, if you wouldn't mind. "Want me to get the shower chair for you? In case you get dizzy again." Yeah, that might be a good idea. "OK, sit here, don't move, I'll be right back" I sat on the side of my bed waiting on Edward to get back with the shower chair. "ok, here we go, i'll put this in the shower for you. He came to me, held my hand, helped me stand up, woooooooooh, dizzy, again, shit. I fell forward, but my head landed on Edwards chest. his arm wrapped around my back. "Maybe I should go get my dad" NO, I'm fine I probably just stood up too fast. I walked to the shower, shook off my hospital gown. And sat under the water and sighed, it felt so damn nice, and refreshing. Edward asked if I was ready to have my hair washed. "Yes, please. I had a towel across my front and a washcloth in my lap. trying to be a little hidden. Granted, we had, had sex but he never actually saw me naked. He walked in, smiled and shook his head. "Why are you covered up?" Well, I'm still shy about my body. He lathered up my hair and then turned the chair, with me in it. so the back of my head was in front of the water so he could rinse it for me. About that time I heard "BElla?" and it was Charlie. I just whispered "shit" and Edward stepped out of the bathroom. I could hear everything. "where's Bella?" She's in the shower. I was helping her wash her hair. "isn't that what they pay the nurses for, around here?" "why are you washing her hair?" DAD!, I asked him to, so enough! "I just thought I'd come by to drive you home" Thanks but Edward can do that. "yeah, I get that, now" " Hope you're not wasting your time with him" DAD! enough! please go. I will call grandad, "fine, I'll go but don't say I didn't warn you" Well, you could have been better at warning me about Jacob. Quiet, not a sound except for the shower running. Edward walked back into the bathroom, turned the water off, helped me up out of the chair and we walked to the bed. He had laid clothes out for me. Grams had came by and dropped off a bag of clean clothes, earlier that week, just for this day. it felt great putting on my own clothes. Edward walked out to the hallway while I dressed. So, feel like going to see a duplex? " YES!" I just want to get out of here, and possibly start a new life with you in it" Bella, I almost lost you, if you think it's a possiblilty of us starting a life together, then you need your head reexamined because it'a given that we ARE going to start a new life he smiled. I was so happy to get Bella out of there and go look at that duplex and some possible other places. I hoped she would take it easy. I knew she was still a little dizzy. So we would go at her pace. The duplex was nice. in a nice neighborhood and a great yard. We walked in and was taken aback at the hominess of it. It felt comfortable just walking in. The bedrooms were big as were the closets. The bathrooms were perfect. The bigger bedroom had its own bathroom, which was great. Bella was in love with the kitchen. She ooo'd and ahhhh'd at the new appliances. She was concerned at the rent. I assured her that I could afford it with my new pay grade. She ran to me "oh Edward, can we get it?, It's perfect. And Claire can have her own room". I took her face in my hands and kissed her lips, Yes, whatever you want" She jumped up and down "let's go tell grandad" She called him and told him we wanted to rent it. He was happy and had us come over to sign a rental agreement. When we arrived her grandmother was all smiles. "oh Bella I'm so happy you're doing better. and now we have to get that place furnished for you guys" We signed the agreement. Her grandfather and I shook hands and he handed me a credit card and whispered "get her some good furnishings and some groceries in that place" I just looked at him and said "are you sure?" He patted me on the back, no limits, "just love her son" I've never been more sure except for the day I married her grandmother. He hugged Bella and said "i'm happy for you Bella, and I swear he had tears in his eyes. So, we had our new place and we had to go furniture shopping. Do you feel like shopping now or do you want to go to the barracks and rest? "I am kind of tired" OK barracks it is. I phoned Jasper to let him know we were headed over there. He wasn't there so I decided to lay down with Bella. I fell asleep with my arms around her. I didn't want to let her go. I was afraid to. She rolled over and kissed me, then I fell asleep.
bpov I was so excited. Edward and I loved the duplex. I'm glad granddad is going to be our landlord. If we did have a problem paying one month. I'm sure he would let us slide by for a few weeks. I can't believe how perfect it will be. Now we get to use grandad's credit card to purchase furniture. We are going to pay him back. Whether he tells us to or not. I was a little tired after looking at the place so we decided to go back to the barracks and rest. Edward laid with me and we both fell asleep. We need to furnish this place. "Oh, cool" I'm happy for you guys. We both got up put our shoes on and headed out to go shopping. The first place we went to had great stuff. We bought a Queen bed set and a matress. A livingroom set. A toddler bed, for Claire and a dresser for her room. A small table and 2 chairs just the right size for the kitchen. Since it was just Edward and I we didn't need a huge dinning table. Claire had a high chair at grams so we will bring that when we move. The more we bought the happier I became. OH Charlie is going to have a field day with this. We are moving in the first of July. so just a few more weeks. The utilities were on, we just had do put them in our name. Edward was going to do that tomorrow. We left town and headed back to the PX so we could buy kitchen stuff. Dishes, flatware, glasses, etc. Tomorrow we would go to the commissary. We ran by grandads and gave him his card back. He asked if we got everything we needed. and I gave him the list of what we bought, with a frown on my face. "hope we didn't spend too much" Bella, baby you can have anything you want, you know that, right? But. no buts. I told Edward no limit. Did you two get groceries? Not tonight, tomorrow. Then why did you give me my card back? Grandad, we can buy our own food. "but its my gift to you and Edward and missy Claire. Here, take it. as he pushed his card back to me. UGH he's so hard headed. epov I can't belive how much we bought and her grandfather was still insisting we use his money to buy groceries, even though we can afford it on our own. I do see where Bella gets her stubborn streak from. We headed back to the barracks , for the night, tomorrow will be busy. Jasper was already out for the night, snoring. Bella and I dressed for bed, climbed in and cuddled. I whispered in her ear "i can't wait for our adventure to start, next month" she said "me neither" "edward?" hmmmmm "are we moving too fast?" " maybe a little, but I can't wait. I'm one of those that jumps on the train as it come closer I might get hurt in the process but at least I tried. Do you know what I mean? "yes, I just. I spoke too soon. Charlie and Jake, both, tried throwing pennies on the rail but we stopped it, in mid air. Charlie was livid as I thought he would be. Jake was just being an ass, as usual. I took the cookie and juice from her. She never stired. She ended up sleeping until dinner at 4, she slept 4 hours. She probably won't sleep good tonight. Before Emily left, she turned around and handed me an MP 3 player. "here, Jake wanted me to give this to you, and said to tell you to "please" listen to it. While helping grams with dinner I popped in the earbuds. I started crying while listening. It was Jakes way of apologizing to me. First song was Better then I know myself by Adam Lambert. The second song was Bad Liar by Imagine Dragons. The bad Liar song was the one that made me cry. Granted it's about a marriage falling apart but the words still stung. I received a text from Edward. "can you talk?" Yes. My phone rang. I pulled the earbuds out of my ears. ran to the front porch. Sat on the porch swing and said "Hey handsome", I miss you. "Bella?, are you crying? " Yeah. "why, whats wrong?" Jake gave me some songs to listen to and the last one I played hurt a little. But it's his way of apologizing. Bright side? claire is back home. I didn't realize how much I missed her. "Think she will like her new room?" Maybe. She might have problems sleeping the first few nights. "At least the rooms aren't far apart from each other. epov I wanted to ask what her full name was. but I didn't get a chance before she hung up. I'll have to remember when she calls back. I listened to those songs Jake sent to Bella. I liked them both, The first one by Adam Lambert was exactly the way I thought Jake was, to her. Cold and calculated. Selfish and the song admitted it. The second song by Imagine Dragons was sad, in a way. But it pissed me off in the one line where it says. "now you know, you're free to go" What the hell. Of course she was free to go. He didn't have to give her permission. That just pissed me off so badly I wanted to scream in his face. No, I wanted to punch his face. BAD. I was mimicking Bella, from earlier. I was clinching my fist now. I really needed to hit someone or something. I went outside and punched the outside wall. Shit that hurt. I think I broke my hand. That night I was babying my fist/hand. Jasper asked if I wanted to go to the ER or urgent care because we both thought it was broken. I opted for urgent an xray and $100.00 later it was confirmed, I broke it. They put a wrap, tightly around my knuckles and gave me a wrist/hand support so I wouldn't move it too much. We got back in the car, to leave and noticed Bella had called 3xs and one voice mail. Shit. "Edward, I'm worried. Why aren't you answering your phone? Please call me. I love you ,Bella. I called her and apologized profusely. I told her what I had done. bpov I went to bed with a damn headache and woke up with one also. I hate this. I feel dizzy too. I googled some stuff to see what in the hell is going on. Seems that after a concussion you can have the same symptoms I'm having. I'm not nauseous, thank goodness. Maybe I should go to the doctor. I'm going to call Edward, first. Hope he isn't busy. He answered on the first ring. "Bella?" Morning, my handsome souldier. "Feeling any better?" No I still have a headache and I"m dizzy. Do you think you would have time to take me to see your dad? I'd rather see him than any of these other dr's. They will run to my dad the first second they have. "Sure, if you want to drive 3 hours to see a Dr., are you crushing on my dad?" Ha, ha, very funny. "My dad said he could see you but it's probably nothing to worry about. I know but I'd feel better if I saw a dr. just to make certain. Are you OK with driving there? We headed to Forks, to see Dr. Cullen while there, He had me doing another head CT. Seems that everything was fine just a symptom of my concussion. Which is what google had told me, but I feel better having it confirmed. He did order blood work though. he said he would call if something odd showed up and he doubted that would happen. after all was said and done we headed back to Pierce, WA. "Do you feel any better?" he gave me some Tylenol 3 to help with the headache. now I'm just hungry. Edward laughed and he pulled up to a diner, before we left Forks. I sighed. Charlie and I ate here all the time. As soon as we walked in the door. I had several people say my name. "BEllA!" how the hell are you? Edward just squeezed my hand. I knew it made him uncomfortable. He is so jealous but I knew these people from way back. He was going to have to get over his jealousy. Jakes cousin, Leah, saw mw and came over. Hugged me and asked how I was and how Claire was. "Hello, yes,seriously? you're kidding, right? Um OK. Thanks Carlisle. Yes, I'm fine" Thanks for calling." "Bella?, is everything alright?" HMMMMM yeah, I'm fine. Didn't sound fine to me. What's going on? "Can we talk about this later, please?" Bella you're scaring me, what's wrong?" Honestly, nothing is wrong, per se. Then what is it? Edward, lets eat and head back. epov We get back, I head to sgt. Swans office to look at the orders. SHIT! OK I will need to calm Bella way down. NO, I won't, maybe, I call my father, "Carlisle, you remember telling me about grans ring?, Yeah son, can you send it to me, like today? overnight? Son, what's going on? I'm being shipped out and the only way for Bella to go with me is if we are married, so I thought maybe tomorrow or when the ring gets here I would ask her and tell her about my orders. Is that a bad thing, dad? " No son, i think now would be a great time, actually. I will get it in the overnight mail, tonight. Thanks. OH and son, congratulations. Bella and I got married at the local courthouse a week before we were ready to leave so our paperwork would be in legal order before we arrived in Germany. I knew where our housing unit would be I already had the key and apt number. It was cute, but nothing like the duplex in Washington. This one is a small 2 bed 1&1/2 bath. a tiny kitchen and a shared laundry room. It came furnished as most Military housing does. We would need to get Claire a crib though. Bella's stomach was getting heavy with our baby. And she was beautiful. I went with her to her first dr. visit. I wanted to be with her to make sure everything was alright. The doctor she decided on was suggested by another woman in the complex. The Dr is American, so no launguage barrier there. Bella was glowing and the baby was moving a lot. I couldn't get enough of feeling it move. She had an u/s but we didn't want to know the sex. Bella was having problems with her b/p being too high. She was a candidate for preeclampsia, so, C-section was possible. The doctor said she was going to try her damdest to not let that happen. She asked Bella how much Claire weighed. Bella said almost 9lbs. The dr said that our baby would probably be about the same size. I was getting so excited for the baby to arrive. I just hope Bella doesn't have any lasting health issues due to her b/p.

Edward was out in the field for the weekend. I miss him so much when he's gone like this. Thankfully I made friends with one of the ladies in the complex. Her name is Gina, She and her husband have been married for 10 years, they have 4 kids. 3 boys, 1 girl. She suggested the Dr she used so I tried her Dr. I liked her, the Dr, is American so I didn't have to worry about not understanding her. I was miserable, huge, and could barely breath. Chasing Claire around didn't help. Thankfully she is a good child. She minds but she wants to go all the time. I understand, she is a toddler and don't like to stay still. I wasn't feeling well. I decided to take a quick shower while I laid Claire down for a nap. I was hoping to get in a nap also. We shall see *cross fingers* - I put Claire down, then went to the shower and got the water running, hot. While in the shower I felt a stabbig pain. I yelled, of course no one was there to hear me. I got out of the shower, phoned Gina, she came upstairs, to my apt. and sat down on the bed, next to me. After the 3rd pain, I knew I was having contractions. I cried because Edward wasn't home. Gina called the C.O. (commanding officer) to let him know he needed to get Edward to the hospital ASAP She also phoned my dr and grabbed Claire then took me to the hospital. AFter I arrived everything went fast. I was zoomed to L&D After checking, I was already dialted to 3 cm. I had opted for no meds, I did it with Claire, thought I'd try it again, with this little one. The dr checked my b/p 210/180 too high. I had been in labor, now, for 6 hours. I started crying for Edward. He still hadn't shown up. The Dr said she would call his c.o. for me, again. About an hour later, Edward came running into my delivery room. He was on his knees, with watery eyes. "i'm sorry, i'm so, so, sorry. I would have been here sooner if my C.o would have told me about the first phone call. I just growled. I was having a contraction. I was holding Edwards hand and he winched at the pain I caused him. I knew i was squeezing hard, but it helped. I told the nurse I needed to push. She checked me. "only 5 cm, sweetie, you still have a ways to go", and your water hasn't broke. So we will need to do that, for you. UGH, I slammed my head down on the pillow and threw my arm over my eyes. I was so tired and I was crying. Edward grabbed a cool cloth and wipped my face. Then he leaned down to kiss me. He apologized to me "i'm so sorry bella. "for what?" For getting you into this situation. Situation?! I'm pregnant. It's not a situation, you silly man. I will be fine. "I need to step out, do you mind? Go, Edward, it's OK. If I need you I will yell" He stepped away, he said he was going to call his father. He'd been gone for 45 minutes. This time I screamed I NEED TO FUCKING PUSH! the nurse came in and checked. "You're right, it's time to push. EDWARD GET YOUR ASS IN HERE NOW! He came running. Grabbed my hand but the Dr told him to hold my legs back against my chest. He said "WHAT?!" I giggled. Because he was new at this and had no idea what he was in for. He grabbed me behind the knee and lifted my leg when I would push. He happend to look down when the dr. said "The baby's head is crowning" I Heard Edward say "shiiiiit" I giggled again. He was keeping me entertained. Then I heard him gag. I felt bad then. I told him to look at me. So he did. He asked me if I was doing OK? I was. I felt burning about that time. I yelled FUCK as loud as I could. Then I cried for my mother, of all people. Edward was tearing up. I was sobbing. The dr. said "mr. Cullen would you like to see your child announcing it's self to the world? Edward walked next to the Dr. and gasped. One big push Mrs Cullen and your baby will be here. So I pushed, hard and Edward, sighed, and sobbed, "Bella, it's a boy, you did it, babe. We have a son. And he was full out crying by this time. The Dr let him cut the cord and bless him his hands were shaking like crazy. The Dr held his hand steady. Then the baby screamed his head off, which Scared Edward, he thought he had hurt him. We never talked about having a boy, we never discussed names or if we wanted him circumsized or not. We had decissions to make. "Bella? what is his name? I told Edward and he was happy with what I chose. I told the Dr. his name is going to be Anthony Carlisle Cullen. he weighed 10 lbs, even. When he was bathed and handed back to me, he latched on and started sucking. I said "Hmmm just like his father, Edward said "Thats my boy" The Dr shook her head and laughed. Bella your b/p looks great now. How do you feel? I"m fine, thanks. OK but we have to watch you for excess bleeding. Edward whispered to me, "that's what Carlisle said" I smiled. I missed Carlisle and Esme. Edward took a pic of me and Anthony to send to his mom. He called them and told them the baby's name. Esme cried and Carlisle said thank you son. I cant'wait to meet him. Esme said he looks exacly like Edward did when he was an infant. Everyone was crying, Me, Edward and Anthony. I was exhausted. Edward took the baby and handed him off to the nurse so he could sleep too. I rolled over and fell right to sleep Then the damn nurse came in to squish my stomach. I hated that part, it hurts. Edward had his eyes as big as they could get. I cried harder after she did that. It was hurting. I needed to go pee. Edward helped me up. As soon as I stood, I had the worst abdomen pain hit me, hard. Edward came over to me. and whispered in my ear. "feel lighter?" I smacked his arm. "So, when are you ready to have another baby?" Excuse me? are you serious? yes, I'd love to have another baby. OK. then YOU have it. YOu squeeze that big ass head through your penis tip. The nurse laugh/coughed. Edward said OWWWW that was mean. I said well when you can go through what I just did then we will talk about another baby. "Bella, we now have a brat, Ha, ha. He knows I hate that term. So, hes going to rub it in. Gina and Claire came in shortly after the "mess" was cleaned up. Claire ran to me, "mommy, mommy" then she made smacking sounds, she wanted a kiss. Edward stood up to grab Claire "Daddy Edwood and she hugged him I just stared at Edward and he shrugged. I asked Claire "do you want to call Edward daddy? and she nodded her head "He my daddy Edwood" She put her hands on his face and said "Where baby?" he took her to the nursery to see the baby. Gina walked with them. I snuck in a very quick nap before they came back.

I took Claire down to the nursery to show her, her brother. Daddy Edwood? what baby name? His name is Anthony. She said anoty? I giggled but she was close enough. Gina mentioned how much he looks like me. His white hair, mine was like that for several years. But his face shape is like Bella's. I hope he has her big brown eyes too. Claire has dark eyes, almost black. I can't wait to tell Bella about us moving back to Washington. I'm also getting another promotion, this time Jasper told me. He got one also. When we got back to the room, Bella was on her side, asleep. Gina left, with Claire. I sat in the chair, next to Bellas head. I was rubbing the hair out of her woke up with a start. 3 more weeks. That is all we are waiting on. Bellas Dr has to give her the OK to fly. Anthony's pediatrician gave him the OK with no problems. He had already gained another pound. So, apparentyly he is thriving from nursing. I just wanted the OK to have sex. I have, literal blue balls. cold showers were getting old. I needed her to release me. Not just my own hands. How can women go so long without sex? I will never know. I called my folks to let them know that we were just waiting for Bella's check up. My mom got on the phone and warned me. Edward, just be warned that certain women have anger issues after having a baby. I heard my father, in the background "you can take my word for what she just said" I smiled. She was a pro at how quick she changed and cleaned him up. If there was a contest for the fastest time, she would win. Her grandparents bought her a bed for Anthony that hooks to the side of the bed so she doesn't have to get up and down all the time to feed him. Best gift ever because that boy can eat. bpov Today is the day of my check up. Edward is going with me for 2 reasons, Claire and Anthony. My check up went good. I opted for an IUD for birth control since I get sick taking the pill. She put the IUD in while we were there but reminded me to get another check up in 6 months. I looked over at Edward while she was inserting the IUD and his face made me smile. He was winching in pain just watching. I assured him it didn't hurt, it was uncomfortable but not painful. She also gave us the OK to be intimate again, finally. I saw the smile creep up on Edwards face. I was so happy to be going back to Washington. I wasn't looking forward to talking to Jake about Claire. But I understood what Edward was thinking. Claire was going to be confused. Why was her last name Black and Anthony's Cullen? Edward phoned his parents to let them know I got the OK to fly. Carlisle said he would get our tickets for us. Then called to let us know when our flight was. I called my grandparents and my grams was so excited she cried. I ended up talking to grandad. I phoned Charlie to let him know also. I told him not to tell Jake or Billy because I wanted to talk to Jake and I wanted to do it on my time. He promised he wouldn't say anything. I was so excited about going home. I couldn't wait to see everyone. We'd been gone a year. I'm sure Claire looks bigger, to them. Plus we can show off Anthony. He is growing so fast, even to me. He eats like a horse. I have to make him quit nursing. I feel like he is nursing on dust, ha, ha. Claire wasn't that good of an eater. Our flight home will be in the afternoon, after Edward gets off work. We have to be at the airport by 7pm. So, I don't see any problems. *fingers crossed*. I packed the kids stuff, the night before, making sure they had everything they needed. Thankfully Claire could now use the bathroom. So Anthony was the only child in diapers. Edward had a bag already packed, from when we got to Germany. He was literally living out of that bag. Except for his uniforms. Those were hung up, no wrinkles. I needed to pack, but I had help from Gina. She was sad to see me go, but understood. The life of a military family. Packing and unpacking every year or so. Gina came up to keep an eye on the kids while I packed. I cried while packing, due to nerves and excitement. I had told Gina about clair's father and what I was going to ask. She wished me luck.
epov Our flight was departing around 8, so we will have to arrive no later than 7. Gina helped Bella pack up her stuff. I was already living out of my duffle bag, So I will just have to grab my uniforms. Bella had packed the kids stuff the night before. I was so fucking happy to go back to the states. I had missed my parents. I was happy to give Bella her wish of seeing my parents, first. My mom was so excited to see Anthony. I loaded the car with all of our stuff. I turned around, leaned against the car, and took one last look at our building. Bella came out, carrying Anthony and holding Claires hand. I ran to get Anthony from her, to get his seat buckled in. Then I put Claire in the car. Bella turned around and took a pic of the building. Gina came running down the steps of the building "Bella, Bella, please wait. I need a pic of us, Edward could you please take a picture of us? So I did. I ended up taking like 3 to make sure she got the right one. We piled in the car and headed off to the airport. Gina was waving and crying. Bella had tears too. I grabbed her hand and we sat like that until we got to the airport. "Bella, did you grab our passports?" Yes, Edward. did you grab the ones for the kids? Yes. I have them all in my bag. We all had to get a shot before leaving. Same as we did before we came to Germany. Claire was not happy about that. She was good though so we bought her a coloring book and crayons for the flight. That made her smile. When the plane took off and we could make phone calls I shot my father a text to let him know we were in the air. Our flight took off on time. We should be arriving at SeaTac around 6am. PST. oooooh early. I also asked Carlisle if they were picking us up or should we grab a rental? Carlisle said they would grab us. Of course it was raining. But that was OK for me. I was hating the heat wave we were having before we left. Our flight was great the kids were good. Claire even made friends with an older lady across the aisle showing her the pages she colored. When we landed, Bella started crying. she was releived to be home. She hated Germany. Well not the country as much as being away from everyone. She learned a little German while there. Our flight arrived on schdule. I was carrying Anthony, in his carrier. Bella was keeping up with Claire. When We, both, saw my parents, we both broke down. I had to sit Anthony's carrier down. I almost collapsed. Bella was running to Esme with her arms open. Claire ran too. She ran "poppa Car" Gamma S'may. and they scooped her up and swung her around. Esme grabbed Anthony's carrier and asked if she could take him out, since he was asleep. Then she gasped "OH MY GOD Edward, Bella had you all over. She was rocking him and holding the back of his head against her shoulder. She could hear him and feel him sucking on her neck. "UM, Bella, could he be hungry? " I don't doubt it the boy stays hungry. So she excused herself and went to the ladies room to nurse him. She came out, 30 minutes later, walking with her eyes closed, Poor Bella, she was so exhausted. Esme took Anthony, then Carlisle took him from Esme, "Give me my grandson. I need to see and hold him. Stingy woman. Mom just stuck her tongue out at him. So she ended up carrying Claire. until Claire had other plans, she reached for me "Daddy Edwood, carry me" My mom and dad gave me this what the hell look. I just shrugged. But they were both smiling. Esme told us that she had fixed up the extra bedroom, for the kids, and straightened up Edwards room, for us. As we were walking to their car, Bella leaned against me and I could feel her sag. I grabbed her before she fell. "Bella, are you OK? do you need to sit down. "i'm alright I"M just sleepy and tired. I can sit in the car. You might have to carry me though. My eyes don't want to stay open. When we pulled up to the house, Bella let out this loud sigh and sob. Leaned into me and said "I Love your parents, and I love you" We each grabbed a child and headed to the house Alice greeted us at the door. She hugged Claire and Claire said Awice then kissed her. Emmett was out, for the night. But would be back tomorrow. Bella and I drug ourselves upstairs to crash. My old bed looked heavenly. Mom told us to go to bed, she would get the kids in the bed for us. Thank goodness for my mom. Bella took a quick shower then climbed in the bed and sighed a huge sigh of relief and fell fast to sleep. I did the same, took a hot shower then crashed. Mom also let us know that she would be more than happy to get up with Anthony so Bella and I could get some solid sleep. Bella had put her milk in moms freezer so all mom had to do was warm it up. Of course my mom already knew what to do, since she had done the same with us.

When we touched down at SeaTac I cried. I was so fucking happy to be back in the states. When I saw Esme I felt like a little child. I ran to Esme with my arms open. I didn't understand why Edward had put Anthony down until I saw him stumble. I realized he was as happy as I was. Claire was happy to see Carlisle and Esme too. I needed to feed Anthony before we got in the car, so I went to the ladies room to nurse him. I almost fell asleep nursing him. I was so tired and when I nurse it relaxes me. I walked back out to everyone but could not open my eyes. Esme took Anthony from me, but then Carlisle grabbed him from her, stating he wanted to hold him. As we were walking to their car I almost fell due to me being sleepy. I leaned against Edward, who caught me before I collapsed. He offered to let me sit and rest, but I opted to go to the car, then I could sit there and sleep. I fell asleep almost the second I sat in the car. I laid my head on Edwards chest. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder. I took in a deep breath, smelling his cologne and his regular body scent. When we arrived at the house I let out a huge sigh and I sobbed. I was hoping a bed was at the front door. I don't know if I could climb the steps on the front porch or the stairs in the house, that's how tired I was. Esme explained that she had fixed up the spare room for the kids and Edwards room was ready for us. Edwards room brought back a sweet memory. I smiled. But, for now, it was strickly for sleeping. Esme told me to sleep that she would tend to the kids for the night. I had put my milk in her freezer. She knew what to do. I explained that Anthony usually took 8 oz with no problem. Carlisle smiled and said "yep, just like Emmett" I just smiled. I took a shower, first, then crawled under the covers I think I fell asleep as soon as I hit the pillow. I never heard or felt Edward come to bed. When I woke up I was engorged. I needed to pump, BAD. Edward got up and grabbed the pump for me, I could barely move. I threatened Edward if he even looked at my breasts the wrong way I would slap him. He just smirked. He watched me, while I pumped. He kept smirking. I knew he wanted to say something rude, but he kept his mouth shut. After I was finished. I went to the kitchen and transfered the milk to the freezer. I had pumped 6 bags. I felt so much better, lighter. I came back to the room and Edward wrapped his arms around me. "feel better?" Yes, absolutely. "Edward, I need to go to the rez, to talk with Jake. Bella, you can do that tomorrow, right? Yes, I guess I can. Good, because I really want to go to our place. The furniture has been deliverd. He showed me the text the furniture place sent him. I couldn't wait. Grams told me that they bought us a new crib, for Anthony. So we were set. I phoned my grandparents to let them know we would be heading to their house, later, in the day. When we arrived. My grams and grandad hugged me, Edward, and Claire. Claire cried Gamma, gampa. I wuv you. and she kissed them over and over. Grams took Anthony from Edward. She commented on how heavy he was. I laughed and explained that he eats all the time. Like every 2 hours. I brought my pumped milk with us. I was still a little shy about doing it in front of anyone, except Edward, of grabbed the keys to the duplex and we rode down to where it is. Basically, walking distance of their house. I laugh/cried when I walked in. Edward hugged my shoulders and kissed my cheek. Claire said "new house?" I showed her, her new room. She ran to her bed and started jumping on it. We had to tell her no, she wasn't a monkey, she laughed. Edward didn't have to report for duty until Monday. So he had a few days off. We were going to take advantage of that. Esme had already told us if we wanted to go out and have a date night she would watch the kids for us. And Alice was begging to sit with the kids, especially Claire. So, Edward took her up on that. He made us reservations at the same Italian place where he told me about our going to Germany and where I told him I was pregnant. I went about it, in a bad way. I needed to apologize for the way I blurted it out. I really needed to take one day to go see Jake and explain what we want to do, about Claire, so I phoned him. Billy answered. Bella? You're back? How long have you been back? Billy, I need to talk to Jake, is he there? "no, not right now, Bella, he has a girlfriend. That's great Billy. I'm happy for him. " This girl doesn't know about you or Claire" Well, she will once I talk to him. "Bella, he's happy, don't rock the boat" Billy, he rocked the boat the day he did what he did. Bella was mad at Jacobs father, frankly I was too. Who did he think he was telling her to go easy on Jake? After what his son had done to her? That first night, in our new place, was nice. I felt horrible after leaving La Push. Jake was moving. I felt like it was my fault. Then Edward came home and said it wasn't my fault and the more I thought about it the more I agreed with him. I decided to tell Bella about me re-enlisting. I didn't tell her about my promotion, yet. It was a surprise. Pregnant, we are pregnant again and so soon. Carlisle said it was probably due to her IUD shifting. so we shall see. I really didn't like the idea of my father 'examaning' Bella, but he is a Dr. so I I'll have to get over it. We arrived at my parents around 5.
