When Bones gets tricked into prescribing shore leave for himself, Jim and Spock, Jim decides that he'll give the doctor a taste of his own medicine. If Bones wants a vacation, he'll get one, though it may not be quite what he expects. Jim drags an unenthusiastic Bones and Spock on a shopping trip, and they all experience first hand the revealing nature of Risian fashion.

For the past seven years, James Kirk has searched for his wife, Diana, who vanished during a Romulan uprising on a small planet. Inspired by a song, /watch?v S0pz-cpWuVE, imagine James Kirk listening to this and wondering . . . what happened after Diana's hand slipped from his and she disappeared? Where is his wife and Jamie's mother?

This is centred on the scene in the episode For the World is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky where McCoy finds out that Kirk has told Spock about his illness. The story then follows the rest of the episode with additional scenes. McCoy's POV.

After his wife's death, he'd left her with his mother and realizes he's lost valuable time. The program is just getting off the ground so there are bound to be some space bumps along the way!
