A/N: I do not own Harry Potter or any of these characters.

The four students stood in silence underneath the Invisibility Cloak, mourning the loss of the innocent creature. Just as they turned back towards the castle, Luna let out a small groan of annoyance.

"Scabbers, keep still." Luna muttered to the rat in her hands. Scabbers was twitching and squirming within her grasp.

"What's got him so agitated?" Neville questioned, only to realize the answer. The yellow eyes of Crookshanks watched the group. Whether he could see them or was hearing Scabbers was unknown.

"No Crookshanks!" Hermione moaned. "Go away!"

The rat suddenly fell to the ground as Luna pulled back her hand in shock. "Ouch! He bit me!"

Luna slipped under the cloak and took after the rat. The remaining three groaned as they threw it off and ran after them.

Harry quickly caught up to her, Luna having finally caught the rat. Hermione and Neville showed up a few seconds later, urging them to get back under the cloak. However before they did, a jet black dog that appeared out of nowhere started to bound towards them, knocking over Harry and Neville.

The dog grabbed Luna's outstretched arm, with its mouth and started to drag her away. As Harry started to react, Hermione was knocked off her feet by something nobody could see. Harry lit his wand with the lumos charm, and the shadow of the Whomping Willow was seen.

The trio jumped up in shock, watching the dog drag Luna under the tree through a gap in the roots. Keeping an eye on the violently swinging branches, they tried to figure out a plan to follow.

Crookshanks darted forward and placed a paw on a knot on the tree's trunk, freezing it in place.

"Crookshanks?" Hermione questioned. "How did he-?"

"He's friends with that dog." Harry replied. "I've seen them together."

"We have to follow." Neville stated grimly.

All of their wands lit, they started down the hidden path under the Willow.

"Where does this go?" Hermione asked Harry.

"I don't know." Harry frowned. "It was marked on the map, however Fred and George said no one has used it."

"Map?" Neville questioned.

"Later." Hermione hushed him. The tunnel started to rise, and before long a tiny bit of light was shining through a trapdoor on the ceiling. The three cautiously climbed up it, entering what appeared to be a really worn down room.

"This must be the Shrieking Shack." Neville gasped. "Gran told me this place was haunted."

"I don't think ghosts did that." Harry pointed at claw marks on the walls.

They moved up the staircase, and extinguished their wands as they reached a door where moans of pain could be heard. Harry pointed his wand at the door and counted to three on his fingers.

"Reducto."

The door flew off its hinges as the trio found Luna laying on the center of the floor, her leg bent in a direction it was not meant to be in.

Neville darted to her, asking her if she's okay and where the dog is.

"Stubby?" she questioned back. "Not a dog!"

"Stubby?" Hermione rolled her eyes, thinking she named the dog.

"Yes." Luna nodded towards them. "Stubby Boardman. He's the dog, an animagus."

The trio turned around, and standing against the wall was none other than Sirius Black.

"Expelliarmus." He croaked out using Luna's wand, catching the three wands that flew to him.

"I'm grateful you came to rescue your friend. Your father would have done the same for me." Black muttered. "I needed to get you here."

Harry nearly pounced on Black for mentioning his father, however Neville and Hermione held him back.

"Don't believe what you have been told." Luna said in a loopy voice, her eyes out of focus. "Not all is what they seem."

Black's eyes widened, but he quickly shook it off. Hermione's face grew full of rage at seeing the look Black was giving Harry, she was about to speak, but Luna's face hardened as well, her eyes back in focus.

"If you want to kill Harry, You'll have to kill us first!" Luna growled, standing up despite her leg, at the man.

"Sit down." Black muttered. "You'll injure yourself more."

"Didn't you hear her?" Neville shouted. "You'll have to kill all four of us!"

"There will only be one killing tonight." Black smirked.

"13 innocent muggles died when you killed Pettigrew." Harry glares. "Why does that bother you now?"

"Long story." Black said. "I can explain everything after…"

"After what?" Hermione asked. "After you kill Harry?"

"No!" Black exclaimed. "I am not here to kill Harry! I would never hurt a hair on Harry's head!"

"You sold out my parents." Harry pointed out. "You work for Voldemort."

"I have never done that." Black shook his head, not flinching at the name despite the other three doing so. "I have never worked for him."

"You went to prison for it!" Neville exclaimed.

"No he didn't." Luna muttered. "No trial."

"The seer is right." Black nodded.

"Seer?" Hermione questioned. "Why do you think Luna is a seer?"

"Her eyes." Black pointed out. "True seers have those bright blue eyes, but there is only one every hundred years. Guess Trewlaney was a fake."

"No surprise there." Hermione muttered. "We'll come back to that. If you never worked for You-Know-Who, then why did you come here, and who do you want to kill?"

"Peter Pettigrew of course." Sirius grinned ferally.

"Explain." Hermione demanded. However before Black could answer, footsteps echoed in the house. Someone was below them.

"HELP!" Hermione shouted. "UP HERE! SIRIUS BLACK!"

The footsteps got quicker as the person rushed up the stairs. Professor Lupin appeared in the doorway, his wand outstretched.

"Where is he Sirius?" Lupin questioned. Sirius silently pointed at where Luna was sitting, holding Scabbers.

"But why wouldn't he show himself until now?" Lupin questioned. "Unless you switched… without telling me…"

Black nodded at Lupin. Then the two embraced as if they were brothers.

"I DON'T BELIEVE IT!" Hermione shouted in anger as Harry's eyes darkened. "YOU AND HIM!"

"Hermione calm down!" Lupin stated. "Let me explain."

"NO!" Hermione shook her head. "Harry, don't trust him. He's been working with Black this entire time! He wants you dead too! He's a Werewolf!"

Neville and Luna's eyes widened in fear, as Neville backs away slightly. Lupin grimaces at the reaction.

"Not up to your usual standards Hermione. Only 1 out of 3." Lupin commented. "I have not been working with Sirius, and I certainly don't want Harry dead. But I won't deny that I am a werewolf. How long have you known?"

"Ages." Hermione answered. "Ever since Professor Snape's essay."

"He'd be delighted." Lupin responded coldly. "That is exactly why he assigned it. You really are the brightest witch of the age."

"I CAN'T BELIEVE I TRUSTED YOU!" Harry shouted in rage.

"I haven't been helping him." Lupin frowned, taking their wands from Sirius and handing them back. "Now you are armed, happy?"

"What game are you playing?" Neville questioned. "If you aren't working with him, how did you know he was here?"

"The map." Lupin commented, locking eyes with Harry, who nodded. They did give him the map to keep a lookout for Black. Neville and Luna glanced at Hermione, who just mouthed 'Later' to them.

"Fair enough." Hermione shrugged.

"I watched as you four went to Hagrid's and left with one other."

"There was no one else though." Neville questioned.

"Scabbers." Luna's eyes widened.

"Correct." Lupin grinned. "I couldn't belive my eyes. However I knew that the map never lies. That rat, Scabbers, is actually Peter Pettigrew."

"Impossible." Harry gasped. "Pettigrew is dead! Black killed him."

"Yes." Severus Snape smirked, walking into the shack, wand pointed at Sirius. "He did."

"Snape?" Harry shouted. "How did you…?" Harry trailed off noticing his Invisibility Cloak in Snape's other hand.

"I found this at the base of the Willow." Snape said smugly. "Thank you, Potter, it was very useful."

Harry's eyes narrowed as he gripped his wand tighter.

"I suppose it's Azkaban for you both!" Snape motioned to the two adults. "Aiding a fugitive, how you have fallen Lupin."

"I didn't kill anyone." Sirius growled.

"Maybe." Snape shrugged his shoulders. "To the dementors, that doesn't matter."

Harry, Hermione, Neville, and Luna all pointed their wands at Snape at the same time.

"EXPELLIARMUS!" The four shouted in unison. Instead of simply disarming him, the combined spells threw him across the room and knocked him into a wall, knocking him unconscious.

Harry eyed Hermione, thinking she'd freak out that they attacked a teacher, but she was smiling. Even she knew he deserved it.

"Now, let me show you." Luna stated, talking in an echo voice, her eyes glowed bright blue. The same light clouded all those in the room's eyes, before the scenery changed. They were no longer in the Shrieking Shack, they were in the outskirts of the Forbidden Forest. However, everything was hazy.

"What happened?" Hermione asked.

"She really is a seer!" Sirius chuckled, and Lupin's eyes widened as well.

"True seer's have the ability to view and share memories of others, as well as fortell the future." Lupin explained. "We best keep this a secret. The ministry can not know about this."

The six figures watched as a young Sirius, Remus, Pettigrew, and someone who looked like Harry were watching the maruaders map.

"Dad." Harry's eyes widened.

Sirius explained about the marauders. How each had their own illegal aniamgus form, and that they became animagi to help Remus with his "furry little problem." It was revelaed that Pettigrew was a rat known as Wormtail. Sirius was a black dog known as Padfoot. Remus was Moony, and James was Prongs.

The memory switched to a dark alley. Sirius explained about the secret keeper situation, and how they switched from Sirius to Peter as Sirius was too obvious. That way if Voldemort targeted the Potters and kidnapped Sirius, he couldn't betray them.

The memory showed Sirius confronting Peter after James and Lily were murdered. They watched as Peter blew up the street, cut off his finger, and ran off as Scabbers.

As the alley faded, they were back in the Shrieking Shack, and Luna quickly stunned Pettigrew so he couldn't escape.

"No killing." Luna said, aware of the dark tint in both Harry and Sirius's eyes. "He'll go to Azkaban or recieve the kiss."

"Luna's right." Neville nodded as Harry started to protest. "If you kill Pettigrew, Sirius will never be free."

"Take a deep breath, Harry." Hermione whispered in his ear, hugging him from behind. "You are no killer."

Harry breathed in, his eyes flashing even greener, before returning to his normal color.

"Let's go." Sirius stated, casting the spell to revert Pettigrew back to human form, still unconscious.

"Incarcerous!" Lupin cast, tying Wormtail up and levitating both him and Snape.

"What if they awake?" Neville asked, looking at Wormtail.

"They won't." Lupin smirked as he shot another stunning spell at the rat. "That'll keep him under. Snape was hit by 4 spells, he'll probably forget this whole thing happened."

"Good." Luna nodded. "He targets all of us badly enough anyway."

The 4 kids, 2 adults, and 2 unconscious figures started to walk through the corridors to the outside, all happy that justice was about to be served. However, one very convenient issue was about to occur. As it so happens, tonight so happened to be that of a full moon, and they happen to have a werewolf with the group. A werewolf who so happens to have forgotten to take his Wolfsbane potion tonight. However, was it convenient? Or was it magic and fate? Whatever it is, this situation is about to go from good to bad to worse. You may know where this story went in an alternate universe. So far, this universe has only been slightly different. Now, it will never be the same. Stick around, it will be a wild ride.
