This is the most realistic and yet not depressing way I could think of for both Ianto and Steven not to die in the end of Series 3: CoE. Though it is mostly just an alternative ending there is some Jack/Ianto in it. I wrote this ages ago so don't expect great writing quality (my new stuff is better) but at least its a happy alternative ending because the other one royally sucked!
