The start of this week had been an absolute disaster for Baguko. Getting attack by a villain on his way to school wasn't exactly what he would call a good Monday. Not to help, Recovery Girl had been called somewhere else and he couldn't really take care of his wounds. They were nothing he couldn't handle, but it was still annoying to have to deal with them.

Making it worst, throughout the day Midoriya hadn't stopped worrying about him and asking if he was fine. When he wasn't directly asking, he had this weird feeling of sensing it. "That shitty nerd should worry more about himself" he had thought to himself annoyed at all the attention given to him even if he didn't want it.

Still, one class to go and he could go away from Deku and his stupid worries.

He was looking at his notes when he suddenly caught Deku worrying about him again. "Is Kacchan really okay?", "That bruise looks painful", "Maybe I should ask Kacchan again?", "Will Kacchan be okay?" were all faintly murmured. Was this idiot mumbling about it again? He really couldn't take it anymore.

"Oi, how many time do I need to tell you that I'm fine! Just shut up with the mumbling already, Deku!" he said, turning suddenly towards the desk behind him, only to freeze once he did that. The seat behind him... was empty? "Kacchan?" he heard from farther in the room, his gaze snapping directly on Deku, making the omega jump.

This couldn't be right, he could swear he had heard him whispering behind him. There was no way he could have been standing all over there next to Todoroki. Was he going insane? Did his accident of the morning somehow cause that? But that guy quirk's had clearly been about water, he couldn't have caused that.

"Is Bakugo sure to be fine?" asked Iida, just as confused as everyone, "Midoriya was standing next to Todoroki, he couldn't have been mumbling behind you". No shit he was, of course he could see that, but it wasn't helping his confusion.

He suddenly got up, his irritation being worsens by the same weird worried feeling he could feel since earlier. "I'm not blind, I can see that! My question is why could I hear him just now?!".

"Because I was talking with Todoroki?" suggested the omega, looking confused by his question. This only managed to anger Bakugo even more, creating an explosion, ready to go at him. Was he actually trying to pick a fight with him?

He stopped when he saw Todoroki stand up, as well as Kirishima slightly blocking his way too. "Baguko there's no need to get this worked up" tried to calm Kirishima with a smile, sounding worried too, "Maybe you just heard him talking with Todoroki but was too focus on your notes so you thought he was behind you".

"Don't give me that, I doubt he'd be going "Oh no Kacchan hurt?" "I hope Kacchan is alright" "I should ask Kacchan again" with Todoroki" he barked, somehow imitating Deku's voice, then looking back at Midoriya to see him suddenly looking a little pale. He was taken aback by his panicked expression, even if it was only there for a couple of seconds, before he tried smiling again.

"It couldn't be it, I was really just talking with Todoroki, what Kirishima said sound more possible" tried Deku, not sounding as confident as Kirishima had been about this hypothesis.

This somehow angered him more. He hated being lied to, but it was even worse when it was from the nerd, he couldn't even do it right?! "Quite talking bullshit!" he said, stepping closer again.

He saw the omega stepping back a little, ending up slightly hidden behind the other alpha. What was it now, he needed someone to protect him? And the way Todoroki was looking at him, as if warning him. All this was starting to really get on his nerve.

"Stop hiding, since when you can't talk with me without hiding?! You don't want to fight me so much that you need an alpha to protect your sorry ass?! Get back here and fucking answer my question!". He was surprised when he felt a pinch of pain, not understanding where it was coming from.

Things went south from there, Kirishima trying to stop him from fighting Todoroki inside the classroom. The fight was broken off when All Might finally turn in for his teaching, only to find his class in such a chaos. It wasn't easy to put him back in his seat, but he ended up staying in it, now barely listening because he was still just as bothered by it as before.

Nothing was helping as he could still feel this worried feeling, yet this time some confusion also mixed with it. He really couldn't wait to be out of there, this day was the absolute worst.

Also, he couldn't forget that pale and panicked expression Deku had earlier, wondering what that was about.

"Midoriya" called out Aizawa, surprising the young man who was taking a break from training with Uraraka. "Yes?" he said, getting back up as he saw the man walking back to him, unsure if they would get scolded for taking a break for too long.

"I need you to stay after class, I need to tell you something," asked the teacher, seeing Midoriya getting a little nervous, "Don't overthink it, it's not something bad" he tried reassuring him. Midoriya affirmed he would, the alpha simply nodding at his confirmation, going back to see how others were doing in their training.

"Aizawa-sensei has been often asking for you, is everything okay?" asked Uraraka.

"Well, Aizawa-sensei as been helping me since I started in UA" admitted Midoriya, still not seeing at if the man had been asking him so often. "He didn't keep me after class this often though, at least I don't think so".

"Well, you often disappear in between classes, I thought it might be that" admitted the young woman. Midoriya could see where she was coming from, although he had nearly always disappeared to go and talk with All Might, so it wasn't exactly the same.

"Oh no, it wasn't Aizawa-sensei, All Might wanted to talk about my grades" he clarified, "But I wonder what Aizawa-sensei want to talk about this time" he admitted. Uraraka smiled at him, telling him she was sure it wouldn't be bad news.

With that, they went back to training up until the end of the class. The young man staying behind as the other were going back, telling them he would follow in a short time. He then ran back to his teacher, ready to hear what he wanted to talk about.

Aizawa made sure no one had stayed behind to eavesdrop. "I wanted to suggest you to stay a little farther away from Bakugo for the next week". Midoriya was surprised by his suggestion, confused about why he should stay away from him.

"Why, did something happened?" asked Midoriya, worried something might have happened with Baguko to have Aizawa suggest him to keep his distance.

"Not really, but it would be safer for you, Bakugo should have his rut soon" explained the alpha.

Midoriya suddenly got fluster, not sure what to do with this information, nor why he should really care about it. "H-how would Aizawa-sensei know?".

"I asked Recovery Girl to check up on him since I needed to confirm something" explain the man, still seeing how confused the young man looks like, "I noticed that you were often very affected by him especially, and I heard of her hypothesis from All Might, so I decided to look into it. Last time you got into heat at school it also corresponds to around when he was supposed to be in rut".

The omega was somewhat frightened by Aizawa way to catch up to these things as easily as he seems to be doing. It was making a big load of sense that he would have been affected by Bakugo rut cycle, he hadn't really thought about it himself. Or maybe he just didn't want to think about it.

"I-I see, I'll be careful then, wouldn't want to be causing problems to Aizawa-sensei and All Might again" he stated with a small smile. He already had cause enough problem last time, he didn't want them to deal with that kind of thing again, especially since it was most likely not pleasant for the alpha.

"You shouldn't think of yourself as a problem" stated Aizawa, looking back at him, "This is not something you can really control". With this, he simply told him to go change and get ready for his next class, still reminding him to be careful in the week to come.

Midoriya wished him a good end of the day, quickly going away, suddenly feeling nervous. Aizawa was way too observant, how had he caught up so much that Bakugo was the one affecting so much? And to go to such an extent than to ask Recovery Girl to do a check-up so he could have the information he needed. He slightly felt like this wasn't something he should be allowed to do.

But he also kept on thinking about it, and it was more than logical that his body would try to synch up with Bakugo. It wasn't making him happy, far from it even, but it was still logical. He really needed to find a way to keep away from Bakugo for a little while without being too obvious, which wouldn't be easy.

Alphas were not really asked to stay home when in rut, if they could still work and not lose it, they were fine. Since UA had mainly alphas and beta, which were not really affected by others rut. He had noticed how some were suddenly awkwardly avoiding him for a day or two, took him a little while to really get it, but he thought it was considerate of them to do that.

So staying away from Bakugo wouldn't be easy, up until now he had never taken a day off for that. And Midoriya had never actually put much attention on that, he wouldn't even be sure if he could really smell it, although he might already be doing without noticing it really.

He sighed when he finally arrived in the changing room, everyone having already left. He tried going fast, pushing away those thoughts for now, he could figure that out later after school.

Really, things were not getting easier...
