Midoriya had been a little worried about going back to school, despite saying it would be alright. He wasn't sure how Bakugo would react, not having been able to see him through the weekend. But he hoped the alpha hadn't just gone through it rethinking the event over and over either. He could still remember the expression Bakugo had made when he realised what he nearly did.

When he arrived in class he was relieved that the other didn't directly ask what had happened the week before. He did end up telling Uraraka and Todoroki, making sure they would understand it wasn't something Bakugo did on purpose. They promised not to tell others unless he was comfortable with it, as it was probably not a story he wanted everyone to know either.

"I can see Midoriya is doing better today" smiled Iida when he saw him get in. "Yes, I took the weekend to relax and sleep a little more" he answered, "Though I didn't have time to completely finish my homework" he stated as he was sitting down, ready to do just that. It wasn't a difficult one, so he would be able to finish it before class since he was this early.

He was taken out of his homework when he felt something being thrown at him, making him jump a little. He was confused, looking back up at where it seemed to come from, only to see Bakugo placing his bag at his desk, looking at him. "Bakugo you can't just throw things at people when they aren't looking!" commented Kirishima. Well, maybe he had been wrong, the alpha didn't seem to go for the avoiding path today.

He looked down at his laps, wondering what had just been thrown at him, frowning when he saw what it was. He grabbed the black collar, which looked pretty new when he was examining it more closely, different from the one he had since this one was made of leather with some subtle stamped stars. "Why are you giving me this?" he asked confused since he already had a collar which was still good.

"So you can put it on" reply Bakugo without beating around the bush. Midoriya then frowned a little bit more, placing the collar on his desk, pushing it towards the young man. "I don't need it" he simply said, a little annoyed that Bakugo was back on him wearing a collar.

He could feel this was irritating the alpha, but he wasn't going to wear it. He didn't like wearing it, it was just showing he was an omega since it was nowhere near the kind of accessory he would wear, but also because he didn't have great experience about wearing one all the time.

Bakugo then grabbed it again, pushing it on him again, "Well I said you have to" he said, leaning a little more over him. Midoriya then sprang back on his feet, not wanting to be looked down upon like this, slapping back the collar on the desk. "I won't! I'm perfectly fine the way I am right now".

Something flashed in the alpha's eyes, clearly not agreeing with him. "Doing fine? Doing FINE!? Are you fucking kidding me right now!?" started to yell Bakugo, grabbing at Midoriya's shirt collar, "Did you hit your head on the weekend and forgot?".

"Guys, you should calm down, I'm sure we can talk it over" tried Kaminari to calm them down, only to back off immediately when Bakugo barked back to shut it. "This is business between me and Deku," he said.

"I didn't! But nothing happened so I'm fine" pointed out Midoriya, knowing that the event on Friday had been a close call and thing could have ended up very differently. He could feel the hand grabbing him start to shake, a complicated expression flashing on the alpha's face before anger came back to wipe it away.

"Have you become this reckless, I could have..." he said, only to clench his jaw at the memory, "Just put the damn collar on!", he yelled instead.

"What's the collar for?" came a voice from the side, Mineta jumping when he saw Bakugo glaring back at him. The beta seemed confused, most likely only knowing basic thing about alphas and omegas situation. "It to keep omegas safer" respond Kaminari in a low voice, not wanting for Bakugo to snap at him too, "It harder to bite their neck when it's on, they often are made to be more complicated to take off that normal collar". Mineta then looked at the collar on the desk between them, then back at Kaminari, whispering "Then why not wear it?".

"Because I hate it!" answered Midoriya as he was starting to get louder too, "You have no idea how annoying it is to be forced to wear it, it shows everyone that I'm an omega and can also be used against me!". Everyone seemed confused by his last comments on it. "Ah! And how exactly?" asked Bakugo.

"By grabbing hold of it, keeping me from going anywhere" responded Midoriya as he looked back at him, "But that you should know about, don't you think?" he pointed out angrily. He could see he had struck a sore spot, Bakugo taken aback by him bringing that back. Midoriya was confused by the feeling of guilt he could feel from him, but it soon was mixed up with annoyance.

They kept on arguing back and forth without caring much if they were hurting the other, the others alphas trying to separate them both. Bakugo then seemed to be tired of arguing, reaching for the collar to put it on himself. He took his hand back just in time, nearly having it caught in the thick layer of ice that had form on the collar and the desk.

They turned to Todoroki who was glaring at Bakugo, "Quite forcing him Bakugo, Midoriya already said he wouldn't wear it". His intervention seemed to irritate the other alpha even more, Midoriya pushing away from him because it was starting to be suffocating to feel it so much. "Don't butt in things that aren't you concerned, he's your friend right? You should want him to be safe instead" he spits back.

"Maybe if you could have some self-control" pointed out Todoroki, offering a sorry smile at Midoriya when he saw him look back at him with wide eyes, clearly he didn't think it through before talking. "Well if someone could fucking stop getting in heat out of nowhere maybe it wouldn't get to this" growled back Bakugo.

"Who's fault was that?!" he then heard, only to snap back at Midoriya "Well it sure wasn't my fucking fault you got into it!".

He then looked confused when Midoriya looked back at him with wide eyes, Kirishima butting in again "N-no one said it was your fault he did". A silence then fell in the classroom.

Midoriya was starting to be anxious, thinking about how he could get out of this.

Bakugo was completely lost. He had heard Midoriya very clearly this time, it wasn't just a whisper no one else could have heard.

Everyone else was looking from one to the other, not understanding what was happening right now. It wasn't the first time they saw Bakugo snap at Midoriya for saying things he never said.

"Bakugo... are you hearing Midoriya's thoughts?" asked Kirishima, carefully getting closer to them. Bakugo was going to turn down the idea, when he could hear that whispering voice again going "Of course Kacchan don't!". "Maybe?" he answered, looking confused.

"Can you also feel his emotion?" continued Kirishima. Bakugo decided to think about it, glancing back at Midoriya, feeling a lot of nervousness and worries, yet it was clearly not from himself. "Yes?... But isn't it like that for everyone else?" he asked confused, thinking it was like that for all the others.

"Not really, I can barely feel it unless the emotion is really strong" answer the other alpha. The feeling of anxiety and worries got worst, Midoriya looking suddenly really fidgety. "Can you also smell his sent?".

"Well of course I do, he's right next to me" replied Bakugo, having somewhat forgotten about the event of before. "I don't" pointed out Kirishima. Then a couple other in the classroom confirmed they couldn't smell him either, yet no one knew where Kirishima was going with this.

"Bakugo, is Midoriya your fated m-" he was going to ask, before being cut off. "No he's not!" suddenly responded the omega, looking panicked, not wanting for Kirishima to put such an idea inside of Bakugo's head.

Bakugo tried to make him repeat, yet Midoriya wouldn't stop interrupting. He finally went quiet when Bakugo placed his hand on his mouth, keeping it shut. It had taken Midoriya by surprise, as he hadn't done such a thing since middle school.

"Fated mate?" asked Bakugo when Kirishima finally managed to finish his question while looking worriedly to the omega, "Are you still a kid shitty hair? Those aren't real" he pointed out.

"No no they are! It just not the most common thing... you said you can smell him even when we can't and you can feel his emotion just by being close to him, those are very common signs of it, and in some cases hearing the other person thoughts is also something that can happen".

Midoriya was trying to get out of his hold, looking at Kirishima as an attempt to make him stop. He ended up biting down on his hand, finally getting free. "I said it's impossible! Why is no one listening to me!" he yelled again.

"I give you 8 seconds to sit at your desk" finally came a voice from the door, Aizawa stopping in his track when he felt the tension in the room and heard the end of Midoriya statement. He looked as if this was too troublesome for this early in the morning, sighing. "What is wrong again?" he asked, turning towards Iida.

"W-well Bakugo came in asking for Midoriya to wear a collar, then thing got out of hands again when Kirishima asked if they were fated mate" he explained concisely, pretty sure the teacher would want it as short as possible. "I said it wasn't that" repeated Midoriya again, this time not as loud as before.

Aizawa then looked them both. The omega was looking desperate to be listened to, anxious and shaking. The alpha looked rather lost and confused, not as angry as he usually was, probably trying to process what had just been told to him.

"Bakugo, Midoriya, I want to see you both after the class" he stated, seeing that the omega was going to argue he cut him off before he could do it, "No refusal, you two come with me when the class ends... Todoroki take away the ice on his desk please, we will start class when you're done".

Everyone quickly went back to their seat, not complaining about the situation finally taking an end for now. Todoroki went to his friend's desk, taking care of the ice, trying to not leave water as to not ruin his homework. He discretely touched Midoriya's hand, offering him a worried look as he looked paler now.

"It's okay" faintly whispered Midoriya with a small smile, trying to ignore the sudden annoyance he could feel from Bakugo.
