Paimon sat in the backseat of his limo while he was being driven to his destination. He normally would not go himself, but he needed an excuse to get out of the house.
Stolas was being more annoying than usual. It seemed that he was happy about his birthday present. That's what the butler said anyways. Paimon rarely stopped to listen for more than a moment, but his youngest spawn was happy and would not stop going on about it. That chattering was more annoying than his crying, so Paimon was going to do something about it.
"We've reached our destination, your highness," the driver called out from the front.
The limo stopped in front of the tent where Cash Buckzo was waiting.
Back inside the big top, young Blitzo was playing with his twin sister Barbie Wire and his best friend Fizzarolli. They were preparing to hold a balloon animal contest where Barbie would be the judge of who made the most balloon animals.
Barbie Wire was standing on top of her father's chair while Blitzo and Fizz sat with their uninflated balloons ready to begin their contest.
"Just you wait, Fizz," Blitzo said. "I'm totally going to win this time!"
"Whatever you say, Blitzo," teased Fizzarolli. "Bring it…Wait. Who's that with your dad?"
"Hey! Don't try to distract me!" protested Blitzo. "That's cheating!"
"No, seriously," said Fizzarolli, pointing to an opening in the tent. "Who is that guy?"
"Yeah, he looks fancy," Barbie Wire said.
Blitzo finally turned around to see what they were talking about and saw his papa talking to Stolas's father.
"Oh, that's Stolas's dad," said Blitzo.
"What's he doing here?" asked Fizzarolli.
"I don't know," Blitzo said.
"Do you think he knows what you and papa did?" asked Barbie Wire.
"I don't know," Bltzo said. "He doesn't look mad."
"Maybe he wants us all go to his house to perform for Stolas!" Fizzarolli said excitedly. "Stolas sounded nice."
"Yeah, he was a bit nerdy. But he was nice, and I liked playing with him," Blitzo said. "I wouldn't mind going back. I liked being his friend."
"We can all be friends!" Fizzarolli said. "We can all play at his house after we perform later!"
"Yeah, maybe," said Blitzo, grabbing his first balloon. "Let's get building!"
"Hey! That's cheating!" Barbie Wire protested as she started the stopwatch and Fizzarolli started making his balloon animals.
The two continued their contest, rapidly making their balloon animals as the stopwatch ticked by.
Meanwhile, the ringleader walked by, stuffing a check in his pocket as the children continued their game.
Finally, the stopwatch reached zero and Barbie Wire yelled, "Stop! Okay, boys. Let's count the horses."
"Why don't any of yours have legs, Blitzo?" asked Fizzarolli while Barbie Wire counted the balloon horses.
"I thought Worm Horse was lonely, so I made him some friends to be in his army," explained Blitzo.
"Alright, the results are in!" Barbie Wire announced. "Fizzarolli has 7 horses to Blitzo's 6! Fizz wins!"
"Yeah!" Fizzarolli cheered.
"Ahhhhhh," Blitzo moaned sadly.
"Don't feel bad, Blitzo," Fizz said. "You only lost by one point."
"This will not stand! I will have my revenge! Worm horses, attack!" Blitzo cried, throwing his balloon animals at Fizzarolli.
"Hey!" chuckled Fizzarolli. "That's not very nice! Banana Pudding horses, defend me!"
Fizzarolli threw his balloon animals back at Blitzo who was chuckling as loudly as he was.
"We need reinforcements!" Blitzo cried as he picked up balloons to blow up more balloon horses while he and Fizz kept throwing balloon animals at each other. "Come on, Barbie. Help me!"
"Okay!" Barbie Wire said as she and Blitzo got to work making more balloon horses.
"Two against one isn't fair," giggled Fizz as he picked up more balloons.
"It's okay," Barbie Wire said. "I'll make balloon horses for both of you."
The kids got to work blowing up balloons and throwing balloon animals at each other laughing all the while.
Unfortunately, about a few minutes later, Cash Buckzo came out, holding Blitzo's red backpack.
"Papa, what are you doing with my backpack?" asked Blitzo.
"I need you to come do something for me," Cash Buckzo said, holding the backpack out for Blitzo and beckoning the child to follow him. "Could you come over here for a second?"
Blitzo got off the rug they were playing on, put on his backpack, and said while still laughing, "Okay, papa. I'll be back in a minute, guys."
Cash Buckzo grabbed his son's hand, a feeling that confused the little imp, and led him over to where Paimon was waiting.
"Finally," Paimon complained. "I thought I'd be waiting forever in this filthy place. Say goodbye to your son, imp. I need to drop the new slave off before I head out."
Little Blitzo's heart dropped, and he felt his blood run cold. He looked back at the two adults and tried to take a step back as his breath grew shallow.
"New…slave…?" Blitzo squeaked out. "Papa, what is he talking about?!"
Cash Buckzo's gripped his son's wrist tightly and let out a sigh of annoyance, not allowing him to move backwards.
"King Paimon has just written me a check for a fuck ton of money to pay for you to be his kid's playmate forever," Cash Buckzo explained. "This money will do a lot for our family, but you have to go!"
Tears blinded Blitzo's vision immediately.
"What?! NOOOOO!" cried Blitzo. "Papa, I won't go! I don't want to leave forever! Please! Don't make me!"
"Sorry, son, but with your mama out for a while, I can only afford to feed two of ya and frankly, Fizz and Barbie have more talent," explained Cash Buckzo. "You can come back if you can ever afford to pay for your keep, but right now, we're better off if you live somewhere else."
"NO!" yelled Fizz and Barbie running from the tent as other performers started gathering around.
"I'll only eat once a day!" cried Barbie. "Just don't sell my brother!"
"I'll only eat once a week!" cried Fizz, grabbing onto Blitzo. "Please don't sell Blitzo!"
"You two need to eat," Cash Buckzo yelled, trying to push them back. "But Blitzo needs to go! OWWW!"
Blitzo bit down on his father's arm and ran back towards the circus tent.
"HEY! GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE NOW!" screamed Cash Buckzo. "Hey!"
Fizzarolli and Barbie Wire started throwing balloon animals at the ringmaster to slow him down as Blitzo ran into the tent.
"MOVE IT!" Cash Buckzo screamed, pushing both the kids aside before turning back to Paimon. "Please don't go anywhere."
Paimon clapped his hands and said, "Why would I? This is unbelievably entertaining!"
Cash Buckzo dashed inside to find his son.
Meanwhile, Blitzo hid in a wardrobe filled with escape artist supplies. It was a favorite place to hide when he played hide and seek with his friends.
"Leave Blitzo alone!" cried Barbie Wire.
"Don't you want to eat, Barbie?" asked Cash Buckzo.
"You suck! I'm gonna call mama!" Barbie Wire cried.
"Wait, don't!" Cash Buckzo called out before he heard a noise in the escape artist wardrobe.
Blitzo closed his mouth and sat still, but it was already too late.
Cash Buckzo turned back to the wardrobe while Blitzo stayed quiet. His father figured out quickly where he was hiding and formed a plan.
Everything was quiet. Too quiet.
Little Blitzo looked out and looked around the area and didn't see his father anywhere, so he hopped out of the wardrobe and started tiptoeing away.
"Not so fast, son," Blitzo heard his father say.
Blitzo turned around and saw his father knocking over the wardrobe. Before he could run away, the wardrobe fell over on top of him, trapping the little one on the floor.
Blitzo tried lifting the wardrobe and moving it aside, but tried as he might, the wardrobe was just too heavy.
Nevertheless, Blitzo kept trying to lift the wardrobe until he felt the wardrobe lift from above him.
The wardrobe lifted and Blitzo saw his father looming over him, but before he could run away, Cash Buckzo threw a white straitjacket on him and started restraining him in it.
"NO!" Blitzo cried out. "Papa, please! I'll do anything! Please don't make me go, papa! Please!"
"It's too late, Blitzo!" Cash Buckzo said. "The money this rich douchebag paid me will keep the circus taken care of for a long time! If you don't go with them now, you're being selfish!"
"I don't care!" Blitzo cried. "I wanna stay here with you and my family!"
"I can't afford to feed dead weight, son," said Cash Buckzo. "Unless you have money to keep you fed and make up for your keep, you don't deserve to stay here anymore! Now, shut the fuck up and be good for your new owners!"
"NO!" cried Blitzo as loud as his little lungs could muster.
Cash Buckzo dragged Blitzo across the circus and back to the limo where Paimon was waiting. Most of the other circus people just watched. Only Fizzarolli followed behind them.
"Stop! Don't take him away! He's my family too!" cried Fizzarolli.
"You'll forget about him," Cash Buckzo dismissed as he pushed Blitzo over to Paimon. "He's all yours, your majesty!"
"Oh, good," Paimon said as the butler opened the limo door. "Took you long enough. Jarvis, help the new slave into the car. Will you?"
The butler grabbed the straps of Blitzo's straitjacket and started leading him to the car.
"NO!" Blitzo continued crying hysterically as he was helplessly being loaded in the car. "Please don't make me go, Papa! I'll do whatever you want! Please!"
"Blitzo!" cried both Barbie and Fizz at once.
The two imp children were rushing towards the limo, but Cash Buckzo grabbed them both and held them back.
"Barbie! Fizz!" Blitzo cried. "I'll find you! Don't forget me!"
"We'll never forget you!" Barbie cried. "You have to escape somehow! I love you too much!"
"I love you too much too, Blitzo! We'll look for you and get you back somehow! We promise!" Fizzarolli cried, throwing a balloon horse into the limo. "Take Banana Pudding Horse with you! He'll keep you safe!"
The butler climbed into the car next to Bltzo and buckled him in while the latter was desperately trying to keep his view of the open doorway.
"PAPA, HELP ME!" cried Blitzo.
"Dammit, your son is almost more annoying than mine," Paimon said as the butler picked up Blitzo's backpack and climbed into the car. "Pleasure doing business doing with you, imp."
"The pleasure was all mine," said Cash Buckzo.
"Farewell," Paimon said, turning to enter the limo.
"Papa?!" Blitzo called out as Paimon shut the door. "PAPA!"
The door slammed shut and the limo speeded away.
Barbie and Fizzarolli were let go and chased after the limo, but it was too late. The limo left them in the dust to cry while Cash Buckzo walked away with his new check.
