Jane calls BPD and gives them the info on the protective detail. She wants to make sure that they don't have any ties to Hoyt. She trusts Olivia but Hoyt had insiders at the jail before. She does feel better that Kat is with Maura right now.

Jane hangs up with BPD and calls Angela. "Hey ma. Maura is awake, she's okay. I'm on the way to the Precinct now to talk to Hoyt. Before you have a chance to say anything, Agent Dean is here too. He's talking to him now."

"Agent Dean... isn't he..."

"Ma, wait. I need to talk to you about something. Something personal. Let me start with a question first. I know that you're pretty open about people. You let them be who they are. So, how would you feel if someone close to you was to change who you thought they were?"

"What do you mean Jane? I don't understand what you're trying to say."

"Okay, so, what would you think of I wasn't completely who you thought I was. I mean, it's nothing bad. It's a good thing, at least I hope you'll see it that way."

"Jane, you're scaring me."

"Ma, so, Maura is basically part of the family, right?"

"Yes..."

"Well, ma, over the last couple of years, well, I've fallen in love with her. I didn't really realize it until this happened. I knew that I didn't want to live without her. I want her to be more than my best friend."

Jane has started crying. She never thought she'd bare her soul to her mother, especially over the phone.

"Oh, Janie. There is no need to cry. It's okay. You're my daughter. I love you more than anything. I love all my kids that way, and I love Maura too. Whatever makes you happy. How does she feel? Oh, wait. Does she know??"

"Ma, I talked to her while she was unconscious, but she heard me. When she woke up she told me that she loved me too. I don't know what happens next. I do know that I also talked to her while she was still trapped in that glass tomb. I told her then that I loved her. The wire I was wearing was transmitted the entire speech to everyone at BPD. Korsack, Frost, Nina and Frankie all knew before Maura knew. I was embarrassed when I finally figured it out, hours later. No one has said anything to me though. Sorry to drop all this on you right now. I love you ma."

"Janie, I love you."

"I'll talk to you later, ma. I have to get to work."

They hang up and Jane walks into SVU. She sees Finn and Rollins. They both ask about Maura. She fills them in. She asks about Hoyt. He's in interrogation with Agent Dean and Olivia.

Jane walk into interrogation. She just looks at Hoyt. "Jane. Jane. Jane. I've been waiting for you. I knew you'd come to see me."

"Hoyt. Hoyt. Hoyt. Why in the hell did you take Dr. Isles? And why NY? What is your end game here?"

"I don't have one."

"You always have one, so don't give me that bullshit. You have always wanted to kill me and you haven't. You've had plenty of chances."

"Oh, Jane. Playing with your loved ones is more fun. I manipulated your little brother and now I'm manipulating your best friend. That is the best way to get to you, my dear. "

"Don't dear me."

Jane's phone rings. It's Kat. "Hey Kat, is everything okay? WHAT?? I'll be right there." She hangs up her phone. She circles Hoyt. Before Olivia or Agent Dean have a chance to act, Jane has her hands around Hoyts neck. "I swear to God, you son of a bitch, if Maura gets hurt one more time, I'll kill you."

Olivia follows Jane out of interrogation and asks what happened. Jane tells her what Kat said. "There was a nurse that came in to give Maura some drugs. Kat asked what they were and asked to see the doctor's orders for the meds. Kat knew that the meds weren't something that they'd give someone recovering from a head injury. She has the nurse cuffed right now. I'm heading over there now."

"Okay Jane. Please keep me posted. Take Rollins to the hospital with you."

Jane rushes to Maura's room. Kat has the nurse cuffed. She has called for the doctor. Jane thanks her again. She walks straight to the nurse. "Who the hell are you and what were you trying to give her?'

"I don't have to talk you you."

"I know that you were working for Charles Hoyt, that's all I need to know."

The doctor comes in. He does a check on Maura. She's still stable and all is fine. He asks what is going on. Kat tells him what happened and she hands him the vial and syringe that the nurse had. He confirms that he didn't order it and never would have.

"So, Doctor, do you recognize this nurse? No Detective, I've never seen her before."

He sticks his head out the door and calls for the head nurse. She comes in. Jane asks her if she recognizes the woman posing as a nurse. She doesn't either.

Kat and Jane thank the head nurse for her help.

Jane picks the woman up from the chair. "Let's go."

Rollins and Kat talk for a minute. Kat doesn't mind staying at the hospital. Rollins and Jane head back to the Precinct.

They walk back in and Jane escorts the woman directly to interrogation. She wants to see the interaction between her and Hoyt. Maybe she can figure out what the connection is.

She stops just short of walking into interrogation to fingerprint the "nurse" to see if they can get a real ID and background on her.
