Maura wheels herself to the bathroom. She enjoys her new freedom. She comes back out and Jane has taken a seat in the chair that she Maura has been sitting in. She decides that sitting in Jane's lap is a good alternative. Jane doesn't mind.

Right before the 3rd period starts Jane's phone rings. She and Maura look at each other. She's off for the next two weeks and everyone that would call her are all her. "Maur, it's Olivia", Jane answers the phone, "Rizzoli", she positions the phone so that Maura can hear the conversation.

"Jane, it's Olivia. I need your help."

"Okay, what's going on?"

"Kat has been taken. We got a very cryptic message from an inmate at Lompoc in California. That's where Hoyt is. I need your expertise, please."

"Okay Olivia, give me about 10 minutes and I'll call you right back."

Jane helps Maura to her scooter so that she can get up. She grabs the remote and mutes the volume. Everyone reacts.

"I just got a phone call. I need to talk to everyone in this room. It was Captain Benson from NYPD, one of her detectives has been taken. They got a cryptic message from an inmate at a Federal penitentiary in California. Same prison that has Hoyt. I'm going to go to NY to help her. I may need to go to California too. I don't know yet. Frost, you want to go with me?"

"Jane, Olivia and her squad was instrumental in saving me and then Kat personally saved me. I'm going too."

"Maura, you need to stay here."

"Why? It's not like I'm going to heal faster here."

"Ok. Frost, Maura and myself will go to NY. Korsack, Frankie and Nina man the fort here. Susie, I'm going to need you to possibly run some stuff too, I don't know anyone in NY, and I trust your work. Ma and Tommy, I love you both."

"Jane, I have an interview with a new possible ME in the morning. Can we arrange a flight after that?"

"Yes, let me call Olivia back and I'll also call Agent Dean."

"Hey, Olivia. I'll be there. I can't get a flight out until about 1 o'clock tomorrow, but it's a short flight. I'll text you the info. I'm bringing two people with me. Have you spoken to Agent Dean yet?

"I've left him a message. I'm waiting to hear back."

"I'll try him too. Send me the

message you got and I'll start working on it. Call or text if you need anything in the meantime. I'll see you tomorrow."

Jane unmutes the volume. Korsack picks it up and turns it off.

"Okay everyone. We've got to work on this first thing in the morning. I'm the senior officer on this so we need to go home and get rest. Jane get me the message and your travel info. Be safe, oh and Frost, protect them both, you hear me?"

"Yes, sir."

Everyone but Frost, Susie and Angela leave. Angela starts cleaning the kitchen.

"Ok Frost, bring a couple of suits, several shirts and a few ties and a few off duty outfits. Be here at 11."

"Yes, Jane. I'll see you then."

Barry bends down and kisses Maura's cheek, hugs Susie and Jane and then kisses Angela's cheek. "Goodnight, ladies."

"Maura, I'll have Dr. Drake here no later than 10:30. If he's early, I'll call when we leave BPD."

"Thank you Susie. I'll see you tomorrow." Susie heads for the door.

Jane calls Agent Dean, she gets his voicemail. "Hey, it's Jane Rizzoli. I got a call from Captain Benson in NY. One of her detectives has been taken. It's connected to Hoyt. Call her. I'll be in NY tomorrow afternoon. "

Jane walks over to Angela, "Ma, I know this isn't what we all had planned. I'm sorry. I have to help them. I owe them."

"I know Janie. I just need you to be careful."

"We will Ma. I promise. I've got Frost and all of Olivia's team. We'll do what we need to do. Now, let me help you clean up."

"Jane, can you get me my laptop so I can review Dr. Drake's files."

"Yes, babe. You know, I really want to go to bed with you, like right now, but we need to do this."

"I know, me too Jane."

Jane brings Maura the laptop and she helps clean up so Angela doesn't do it alone. She takes stuff over to the sink and finds Angela crying. She puts her arm around her mother, "Ma, it'll be okay. I promise. I'll be safe. I have Maura now, it's not just me. I'm living for her too. I'll keep myself safe for her and for you. I never want either of you to have to grieve me. I'll do everything in my power to keep myself safe."

"I know Janie, I know. I just worry. That's what mothers do."

They finish cleaning up and Maura finishes her review.

"Angela, can I ask a favor?"

"Sure, Maura."

"Can you pick up some pastries in the morning? I am having an interview here. I just feel it's proper hospitality."

"Sure honey. I'll do that. I'll make sure there is enough for Janie and Barry too."

"Jane, honey, can you get my purse, please?"

Jane hands Maura her purse. She hands Angela money for the pastries.

"Goodnight girls. I'll see you in the morning." Angela kisses each of them and heads to the guesthouse.

"So, Detective, we're alone. Take me to bed. Now."

"Yes, ma'am." Jane picks up Maura and carries her to the bedroom. Carrying Maura thru a doorway has become habit.

Jane lays Maura on the bed and quickly removes her skirt and blouse. Jane lifts her shirt off over her head. She lays down next to Maura. Maura takes matters into her own hands, well, hand, and reaches down to the wristband of Jane's jeans. She unbuttons them then unzips them quickly. Before Jane can react Maura has her hand down Jane's pants. Jane gives in and let's Maura do what she wants. Jane turns her head and faces Maura. Maura looks into Jane's eyes as she pleasures her. Jane's eyes roll to the back of her head and she feels things she's never felt before.

"Oh, God, Maura. Wow. What got into you? I sure am not complaining. Not. At. All. Wow. Amazing."

"I love you Jane. I have wanted to touch you all night. You out on the deck grilling. Us entertaining like a couple. It turned me on."

"So, Domestic Jane does it for ya, huh?"

"Oh, yeah. I want a lifetime of Domestic Jane. You up for that?"

"Well, Doctor, I think I am, as long as I'm domestic with you."

"You better not be thinking about being domestic with someone else."

"Never, you're the only one I want to be domestic with. I love you Maura. More than I've every loved anyone."

The two women kiss again. Very passionately. Tongues exploring the tongue of the other. Hands exploring the skin of the other.

"Damn this cast. I want both hands on your body. I've waited years to touch you. Jane, you are the most attractive woman I've ever met."

"I doubt I'm the most attractive, but thank you."

"Jane, I've told you, I love your long legs, your curly hair, your deep brown eyes, your sexy husky voice... you make me melt. Remember?"

"Yes, my sexy Doctor, yes, I remember. And I love your eyes, they are gorgeous. I love your smile, the soft bounce of your hair, your intelligence. Your intelligence is a real turn on."

"We have a very long day tomorrow. Will you hold me while we fall asleep?"

"Yes, Maura, it's one of my favorite ways to end a day."

Jane extends her arm, Maura puts her head on Jane's shoulder. Jane wraps that arm around Maura. Maura settles in and drapes her arm across Jane's chest.
