Sonny pulls up in front of the Precinct. Carisi gets Maura's knee scooter out of the trunk. They all go inside.

"Jane, Maura, thank you for coming." She sticks her hand out and introduces herself, "Olivia Benson."

"Barry Frost, nice to meet you."

"Hey guys, Jane and Maura have come back to help us. They brought Detective Barry Frost with them. We're hoping that their help we can find Kat."

"I'm Odafin Tutuola, call me Finn."

"And I'm Amanda Rollins."

"Guys, this is different. We're still going to do our jobs and I'm taking the lead if we need warrants or anything, but we're doing away with formalities as for as names and ranks. I don't care about any of that. Kat is our priority. Carisi is with us right now. This is more of a personal case than a police case."

"Olivia, Frost is a tech whiz. He can help on that front. Maura is a genius, so we have that covered. It's good that she doesn't think like a cop. You know my skill and your guy's skills. I also have my team in Boston in stand by if we need anything. Maura's Sr. Criminalist is available too."

"Great. We've all listened to the message. Jane you've heard it. Maura, Frost, have you?"

"They haven't. We haven't had a chance yet. I wanted Frost to hear it thru headphones where he can adjust levels, etc... I did have Susie, the Criminalist listen to it this morning."

"Jane, why haven't I heard it yet?"

"Maur, it's, well, not good. Let's go talk while they listen again. Olivia, can we use your office?"

"Of course, if you need me, let me know."

Jane leads Maura to Olivia's office. They sit down on the couch. "Maur, the message was just as much about you as it was about Kat."

"Jane, tell me. You don't need to protect me from a message. Tell me. Now", Maura's voice was insistent yet a little scared.

Jane plays Maura the message:

"Captain Benson...tsk tsk, you helped Jane find the good doctor. Now you're in danger. Well, not you, but one of your lackeys. That beautiful young detective of yours. She screwed up. She saved the good doctor. They both should be dead. The doctor should have been raped. Over and over. If he couldn't get the brilliant detective she's the next best thing. That leaves the young Katriona. He really wants them all. He's too far away to do it, but yet, he's not."

Maura looks at Jane, tears in her eyes. "Jane, if you didn't get here when you did, to save me, Hoyt would have raped me. Multiple times. Now we know for sure that he didn't. I'm scared for Kat."

"I know sweetheart I know. Wait, didn't you say that Kat had a girl she wanted to talk to. Did she tell you anything about her. Where she saw her? Where she worked? Did she meet her on the job?"

"I'm thinking. I'm not sure."

Jane gets up and signals Olivia.

"Yeah, Jane, what's up?"

"So, when Kat was with Maura at the hospital they talked a lot. Kat mentioned something about a girl. It's she dating anyone?"

"Not that I know of."

They all go out to the squadroom.

Olivia asks, "Do either of you know if Kat is dating anyone or anything like that?"

Finn doesn't know. Rollins says "She did mention a girl at a coffee shop that she wanted to ask out. I don't know if she did. The coffee shop isn't far. I think I know who she is. We can go talk to her."

"Jane, Rollins, you go see what you can do. Frost have you been able to find anything else in the recording?"

"Maura, I'll be back. It'll be okay."

"Olivia, I've changed the levels of different places on this recording. The only thing I can isolate is voices of other callers. None that I can't really understand what they are saying. I'm going to keep trying to see if I can tell if anyone is coaching him."

"Thanks Frost. Good thought."

Rollins and Jane walk into the coffee shop. "Hi, excuse me, I'm Detective Rollins, can I ask you a question?"

The young barista responds, "Sure. How can I help?"

"This is going to sound a little crazy, but does this woman look familiar to you?", showing a picture of Kat.

"Yeah, that's Kat. She works with you? She's in here all the time. Really sweet."

"Yes, we work together. Do you know her other than just being a customer?"

"Yeah. She went out on a date with one of my coworkers two days ago. What's going on?"

Jane comments, "She's missing. Is your coworker here or do you know where can we find her?"

"She's in the back. I'll go get her."

"Rollins, go with her, please."

Amanda and the barista go to the back and find a girl doing dishes.

"Elizabeth, there are a couple of detectives here to see you."

"Elizabeth, I'm Detective Rollins, I work with Kat. Have you seen her since your date two days ago."

"No. I haven't. She hasn't responded to my texts in the last 24 hours or so. I think she's ghosting me. Why are you asking?"

"Can we go out front to talk?"

"Sure."

Rollins and Elizabeth come out of the backroom.

"Jane, she hasn't seen her since the date and hasn't heard from her at all in 24 hours."

"So, Elizabeth, can you come with us so we can get some more information from you? I know this sounds crazy, but Kat is missing. We want to talk to you, you may know something and not realize it."

"Oh my God, of course. Even if we hadn't gone on a date, she's awesome and would want to help."

They all get in the car and head back to the Precinct.

Rollins takes the lead, "Olivia, this is Elizabeth. She knows Kat. They went on a date two nights ago. She hasn't heard from her in about 24 hours."

"Elizabeth, I'm Captain Benson. Thank you for coming in to help us. On your date, where did you go?"

"We went to dinner at The Ear Inn in Soho then we went to catch a band at Fat Cat. Here, you can look at my phone at my calls, texts, social media and stuff. I took a few pictures at the concert. I was hoping to hear from Kat again. I waited months for her to ask me out."

She hands her phone to Jane. "Thanks Elizabeth. We appreciate it. This may take a while, do you have anything you have to do or can you hang out for a while?"

"I can stay, as long as you need."

Jane takes the phone to Finn to see if he can find anything on it. She then goes to see Maura. "We have the girl that Kat went out with. She handed us her phone and told us to go thru it. Finn has it. She's volunteered to stay while we go thru it. I'm going to bring her in here. Just talk to her. See what kind of vibe you get from her, please."

"Sure Jane. I'll feel her out. Did she voluntarily give you her phone?"

"Yes, she did. Thanks, Maur." As Jane is walking out of Olivia's office, she looks over her shoulder, "I love you."

"I love you too Jane."

"Okay Elizabeth, I'm going to let you chill in Captain Benson's office. There is another friend of Kat's in there. She's someone that Kat saved on the job. Kat is a good person. We're all doing our best to find her. We appreciate your help."

"Maura, this is Elizabeth. Elizabeth, this is Maura. I'll be check back in a bit."

"Finn, you've been going thru all of Kat's social media and phone records and finances. Anything yet?"

"No, Liv, nothing out of the ordinary. I don't know what to think."

Frost stands up and yells, "Jane! I got something. Listen to this." He hands the headphones to Jane. "Keep reading what I wrote. Don't change it. Don't change anything, you idiot. My son has already been following Kat. Hurry up."

"Holy Shit Frost, that's Hoyt's voice. He was a son?? How in the hell did we not know that?"

"Olivia, come listen to this." Olivia listens to the recording.

"Damn, Frost. You're good. Jane, you didn't know that Hoyt had a son?"

"No. Not at all. We've run so much on him nothing ever popped. Hey, have you heard from Agent Dean?"

"No. I haven't, now his voicemail is full. I am beginning to think something happened to him too."

"Damn. Hey, Finn, can you get my team on that big speaker thing?"

"Sure thing Jane." He sets it up and calls BRIC at BPD. "Boston Homicide, Detective Holiday."

"Detective Holiday, this is Sgt Tutuola from NYPD, I've got Jane here with me."

"Hey Nina, who is with you?"

"It's just me right now. What's up?"

"Frost worked on that recording. Hoyt is in the background telling the kid to keep reading this script and get this... Hoyt has a son. It's his son that has Kat. We need to find out who this son is. And to top it off, we can't get ahold of Agent Dean."

"How did we not know they Hoyt has a son? Jane, I'll work on this and I'll fill in Frankie and Korsack when they get back."

"Thanks Nina. We're going to work on getting a copy of the video of the phone area at Lompoc to make sure that our caller was the one Hoyt was talking to."

"Carisi, can you work on that for us?"

"Sure thing Captain."

Carisi calls the Warden at Lompoc. Explains who he is and what he needs. The warden is familiar with Carisi's name since it appears in the most recent arrest report on Hoyt.

"Counselor, I can get the video but I can't get you the audio without a warrant. I assume you can get me one within the hour. I'll have this ready to go as soon as you send me a copy."

"Yes, sir, I'll have one to you very soon. Thank you."

"Captain, we're going to get audio and video but I need a warrant. I'll work on that. The warden is going to get that all ready for us."

"Thanks, Carisi."

"Damn, I still can't believe that Hoyt has a son. When we arrested Sophia Castillo did we check to see if she had any children? Any she gave up for adoption? Any link to Hoyt other than just the military? Oh, and I have Agent Dean's personal number. I'll try calling that."

Rollins pulls up Sophia's info. "I don't show any record of any births, but that doesn't mean there weren't any. Jane, we can pay her a visit. She's at Bedford Hills."

"Okay. Good. Give me a minute and we can go." Jane heads to Olivia's office. "Elizabeth, are you okay? You still okay with staying for a while?"

"Yes. I'll stay as long as I need to. Thanks for asking."

"Maura, can I see you for a minute?"

Maura steps out of Olivia's office, "Everything okay Jane?"

"I don't know. Rollins and I are going to chase down a lead. I just wanted to check on you."

"We're fine. Thank you. I don't think she had anything to do with this. If there is a connection, I really don't think it was intentional. She's a sweet girl, seems kind of lovestruck."

"Okay. Thank you for that. I'll be back as soon as I can. I love you."

She kisses Maura and then heads out with Rollins.

She tries calling Agent Dean. She has to leave him a message. "Gabriel, it's Jane. Hoyt somehow has managed to kidnap one of the detectives from the NY SVU squad. Well, not him personally, but someone connected to him. We need to talk. Please. You have my number."

"So, you have Agent Dean's personal number and you call him Gabriel. Hmmm... you two have a history?"

"Yeah. A couple of years back, when I got the flare burns, he and I kind of had a thing. It didn't last long. I knew it wouldn't."

"And now you're involved with Dr. Isles?"

"Yeah. She's been my best friend for several years. I fell in love with her a long time ago. I actually had plans to tell her about those feelings, then that whole glass casket thing happened, it just came out then. I was both grateful and surprised that she had the same feelings."

"That's actually very sweet. You two are very cute together."

"Thanks, Amanda. She's really great. I have never been happy like this. And she's not someone that's going to try to get me to quit my job."

"Yeah. That's hard in this line of work."

"So, where are you originally from? You have a southern accent. Georgia?"

"Yes, ma'am. I was in the Atlanta PD for several years. I was with Atlanta SVU before I transferred here. I really love this team. Olivia is awesome. She's my youngest daughter's Godmother. My own family is awful, so this is better than I could ever ask for. Sonny and I are very close. Finn, he's like a cool uncle. Kat is just starting to fit in."

"That's nice. My family is, well, complicated. My ma, she is in everybody's business, but she means well. My pop walked out after more than 25 years. My youngest brother, Tommy, has been in jail. He got popped after running over a priest at a crosswalk on his third DUI. My other brother, Frankie, is also a homicide detective. Frankie is dating Nina Holiday, the one we talked to earlier. Sgt Korsack is like a father to me and Detective Frost, he's like another brother."

"Cop families are different. We all need each other. We've got a great working relationship with Boston PD now. I like it."

"We do too. Maura and I would love to have you and the girls come visit."

"Thanks, Jane. They'd love it too. Alright, we're here. Let's see if we can get any info from Ms. Castillo."
