Alright First chapter rough start hopefully this is better and also apparently people like the manga of akame better than the anime my friend told me that I don't know why tho anyways criticism is always welcome it helps me become a better author also tell me in the reviews if there are grammar issues

Ainz has decided to go to the Capital as his adventurer persona Momon along with his companion Nabe. They were walking along a forest path in front of them a little distance away is a cart that was being ridden by two people. To their surprise, a monster appeared from the ground.

'What the hell is that thing?!' Suzuki thought to himself the thing was as tall as the trees it was a humanoid with a hunched position and had many traits similar to that of a cockroach it had antennas on the side of its head and its eyes were like that of an octopus

"I-Its an Earth Dragon!" One of the men screamed

"Hmm, Interesting I don't think this creature is from Yggdrasil. I think I'll have aura study the creature, Nabe." Momon was commanding nabe to capture the beast

"At once my lord" Nabe acknowledges the command and was about to incapacitate the beast but before she could act a brown-haired boy jumped and sliced off the dragon's arm

"A class one danger beast, Earth dragon a worthy opponent," The boy said, the earth dragon enraged slammed its other hand at the boy but at the last second jumped and was running up the dragon's arm and did a downward slash at the dragon's head and killed it. Momon was impressed with the kid he looked like a teenager, but he managed to kill an earth dragon with seemingly no effort.

'Is this kid an adventurer? well he did kill that earth dragon' Momon looked over at Nabe she looked PISSED she was about to draw her katana before Momon placed his hand on her shoulder

"Control your bloodlust," Momon commanded her and in an instant, Nabe seemed to have calmed down It was surprising how easily she calmed down when he commanded her. To him, it was kind of disturbing

"That was amazing kid!"

"I can't believe you took down a danger beast all by yourself!" The people were commending the brown-haired kid and he was enjoying it which in turn fueled Nabe's rage she already didn't like humans, she already hated this kid for killing the beast she was supposed to capture, and now he was enjoying the brief fame he got from it. It was as if he was rubbing it on her face and it took all of her willpower to not at least try to kill this brat.

"But of course, something like that is child's play for someone like me! By the way, My name's Tatsumi! It's a name that's going to be pretty famous in the capital, so you'd better remember it" Tatsumi said enjoying the fame much to nabe's dismay Momon on the other hand was trying to read Tatsumi's character

"Are you an adventurer by any chance?" Momon asked out of sheer curiosity the boy turned around and looked at him strangely.

"Adventurer? What's that? Is that Some kind of job? Wait so are you an adventurer?" Tatsumi answered the question with another question

"Yes, from where we come from we are considered adventurers, So I take it you are not an adventurer?"

"No, I'm not, I'm going to become an imperial captain! And I'm going to make a big name for myself!"

'So, he wants to spread his name as well.'

"I see, Does the name YGGDRASIL sound familiar to you?"

"YGGRA-what? I don't know what that is. Is that some kind of book?"

"Uh, yes forgive me for asking"

"No, it's fine man, by the way, the name's Tatsumi what's yours?"

"Momon and my companion here is called Nabe" In response, Nabe let out a very low growl no one heard.

"So why are you going to the capital are you going to make a name for yourself as well?"

"You could say that."

"Awesome! Hey, why don't we stick together? We're all going to the capital, aren't we?" Before Momon could respond one of the people interjected.

"W-Wait!" In response, everyone turned their heads to the man

"Y-You're all looking for a name for yourselves in the capital?!" The man sounded shocked

"Yup"

Suddenly the man's face looked very gloomy

"T-The Capital Isn't as dreamy as you think it is. It may be lively but it's full of monsters more vicious than that earth dragon."

Momon understood what that meant but for Tatsumi however

"What? So, danger beast come out of the in the city too?"

"Foolish lowly worm." Nabe muttered under her breath but only Momon heard her

"They're People with the hearts of monsters. That's all you'll find there"

"I see I'll keep that in mind," Momon said

"I appreciate the warning but there's no way I'm turning around now. We are going to make money in the capital to save our village!"

Then the three continued on their way to the capital as they were walking Tatsumi asked a question

"Hey Momon, what did you think that guy meant when he said there were monsters here"

Is this guy dense?!

"Hmm, it must mean that there is a level of corruption within the city."

"Well, when I become captain! You can bet ill kick them in the ass!"

"Hahaha I hope you do"

Then they entered the gates to the capital and what Momon saw as bland wasn't bad it wasn't that good either well compared to Nazarick at least on the other hand Tatsumi was star-eyed at the Capital there was the open market that sold vegetables, meat, and other products it was very lively the people didn't look unhappy.

Huh? Hard to believe this place is rotten to the core.

"Woah! Awesome so this the capital?!" Hearing this Nabe was starting to look pissed again Momon placed his hand on her shoulders again and she started to calm down

"Hey, where are you guys going after this?" Tatsumi asked

"Why do you ask?" Momon replied a bit cautious of the question

"hmm, Just curious is all" Tatsumi answered, There was a pause before Momon answered

"I believe we will be looking around, And if possible find a profession that suits us."

"Alright well, I'll be applying for the barracks see ya later!"

"Farewell, Tatsumi"

Then the boy ran off into the distance until they couldn't see him anymore

"Thank the supreme beings he is gone" Nabe said with some venom in her voice

"I will not ask you to change your view of humans but please control your anger"

"Of course, lord Momon"

"Just call me Momon we are companions which means we are equal right now got it?"

"Yes…. Sir Momon" There was a pause before she said his name maybe to catch herself and stop adding "lord" to his name

"good enough"

Momon and Nabe continued walking along the road they were walking around to find an Inn to be able to sleep in as they were walking Momon saw a huge library looking for information was one of the reasons why they were there, so he decided to stop.

"Nabe goes look for an inn for us when you do tell me about the location through message also if anyone tries anything with you, you can defend yourself but don't kill them got it?"

"Understood Momon sir"

Nabe continued walking to the streets while Momon decided to go to the library. Suzuki Satarou was curious about where he might be because nothing was indicating that he was in YGGDRASIL any more magic doesn't even exist in this world. Momon entered the library behind the desks are the employees. Surprisingly there wasn't any fee for entering despite how the capital is supposedly corrupted. Momon started to approach the employee at one of the desks.

"Where can I find books regarding danger beasts?"

"Those would be in aisle seven sir"

Momon gave a nod to the young man. Momon couldn't understand this world's language, but he had a magic monocle to translate it for him so reading wasn't going to be a problem. While he was walking to aisle seven, he saw something that caught his attention. He stopped at aisle 2 he went into the aisle and took out a book and opened it.

'I-I knew it T-This is MANGA!'

He couldn't read the text but there were the panels this was a manga Suzuki Satarou remembered back in his old world mangas were very popular as in worldwide popular. As Suzuki was reminiscing about his old world his joy was killed by his emotional suppressors

'Shit, Well at least I've got a good way to pass the time'

After cursing his suppressors for killing his joy he left the aisle to go to the seventh one when he made it he took out a book that had a monster as its cover he couldn't understand what the cover said. Making sure no one saw him Momon took out a monocle from his inventory he placed the monocle over his visor and began to read the text.

"Oh how interesting there are several classes of danger beast so class 1 is the weakest and super class is the strongest"

He kept reading the book and it had great details of danger beasts such as the Earth dragon, Death tygool, Ryu (the danger beast that crosstail was made of), and many more. This intrigued Ainz and he wanted to conduct his experiments on the creatures. Making sure no one was looking Momon took out a scroll from his inventory and tossed it into the air while mid-air the scroll disappeared in a blue flame

"[Message]"

"Oh Lord Ainz! What can I do for you today." Aura said in a very cheerful voice

"Aura, can you capture the creatures and research the creatures known as danger beasts, and while you're at it can you also do experiments on them?"

"Of course, anything for you lord Ainz I'll get on it right away!"

Momon ended the message. Satisfied Momon kept reading about the many creatures that inhabited this world. After Momon finished reading what he can about the creatures he was going to read about the history of the empire. He approached the employee again and asked for the history of the empire he was supposed to go to aisle 9 for that. Momon went deeper within the aisles to look for the book he was looking for.

"The great history of the empire huh?"

Momon was interested in the empire's history. According to those bandits, this is the most powerful country on the continent it also helped that the empire had a near limitless number of resources. He began to silently read the text through his monocle.

"Hmmm. Interesting so the First emperor founded this country and created weapons known as teigu some could even destroy entire armies, It would be nice to get my hands on one of them"

Unfortunately, the book never disclosed the existence of teigus any further. From what Ainz could gather these teigus were made of parts from super class danger beasts and rare metals and that they were very powerful. This flared up Ainz's Collector spirit and the weapons greatly interested him. Once again Momon approached the Employee

"Excuse me are there any books regarding these teigus?"

"Uh no sir we don't "

"I see what a shame."

Try as he might Momon couldn't find any books about teigus. In the middle of his search, he received a Message from the message spell

"I take it that you have found an inn?"

"Yes my lord"

"Did anything happen on your search"

"There were these worms that gave me dirty looks, so I glared back at them, and the cowards ran away as per your request I did not kill them. Currently, I'm at the inn known as Lion's Den"

"Good"

She then proceeded on telling him where it was located and Momon started walking out of the library. He gave up on trying to find anything in the library and decided it would be best to go to the inn. It was nighttime now since Momon spent so much time reading about the world.

'Maybe I should get one of my NPCs to look into it'

Momon decided to clear his mind for now. Momon managed to head to the inn and was met by Nabe who was waiting outside. They both went into the room and Momon took off his helmet which revealed his skeletal face.

"Is this place secure?"

"Yes, I have taken every measure to ensure no one eavesdrops on our conversation"

"Good. Now let me tell you about our objectives for coming here First is to gain a reputation in order for us to be able to earn a spot in the military Second is to make some money most of the money we have are YGGDRASIL coins if we used those it could get us some unwanted attention Third is to gather as much information as possible"

"As expected of a supreme being such as yourself your wisdom knows no bounds"

Nabe bowed to Momon

The great tomb of Nazarick was currently under the command of both Albedo and Demiurge. Currently, their focus was to create a surveillance system. There was a minion-based warning system that was created while Mare was reshaping the landscape as well as concealing Nazarick. But Ainz insisted that they create a surveillance system that didn't rely on their minions. The reason for this was because he isn't sure as to how strong the people are in this world even if they can't use magic, he refused to be complacent. Meanwhile, Aura was out in the wilderness attempting to gather as many danger beasts as possible. The rest of Nazarick was on Maximum security the floor guardians except for demiurge were restricted to their respective floors. Currently, Albedo and Demiurge were working on the surveillance system they were to implement this system in the entire tomb except for the 8th floor. Initially, Albedo proposed that she investigate it but it was rejected all Ainz said was "If something happened in there, It's possible that you won't be able to deal with it". The 8th floor was strictly locked down and no one was allowed in there unless given permission by Ainz himself. One would wonder what is in there that would make Ainz worry about Albedo who is one of the most powerful beings in the Tomb.

"Demiurge do you think we should add another system in place?"

"Hmm? What do you mean Albedo?"

"The purpose of this system is to deliberately leave gaps in the patrols of our minions, If for example, any foolish lower life forms come to find the tomb they will take advantage of those gaps then we can lead them to a trap."

"A splendid Idea Albedo I'm sure Lord Ainz will be pleased."

Meanwhile, Aura had returned from her expedition with a large amount of danger beast all of which are tamed. Some she sent to Demiurge's Happy Farm some were Taken for experimentation and the rest were released to floors that she felt they'd fit in for example Aquatic danger beasts were sent to the 4th floor. The majority of the danger beasts were released to the 6th floor. About demiurges happy farm it was a location that was far away from nazarick so that if it were to be discovered it would be really hard to trace it back. The Happy form was a facility for the production of scrolls, however, how it would be farmed was brutal. Demiurge used the small number of bandits that survived by skinning them. There was an incident when Demiurge kidnapped an entire village for his farm. What he did is that he skinned them and used healing magic to skin them again, He made parents watch as their child gets killed turned into food, and fed to another starving family The way demiurge maintained them by chopping off their limbs used healing magic and turned said limb into a soup and fed it to them. Demiurge was enjoying all the suffering it was his hell that he could enjoy. And it was effective there was almost no cost for maintaining this farm and it could produce scrolls that could hold up to 4th tier spells. However, when Ainz found out he had all the villagers executed in a painless death, this was not because of his kindness. It was from fear of provoking other players who still had their humanity. Ainz told demiurge that he is not allowed to use innocent people for his happy farm. Demiurge was eviler than even the prime minister the only thing that's keeping him in check is Ainz himself.

Momon and Nabe were going to apply to become mercenaries. They had faked identities. They went into a government owned building, and they had to wait in a long line of people

"Tch, Lowly worms why don't they just die." Nabe said muttering to herself Momon paid it no heed and stayed quiet.

The line was fairly quick and now it was their turn. The man behind the desk asked for their identities and they gave him their papers the man lazily read through them and stamped their papers.

"Well, for now, you'd only be getting requests to kill danger beasts but if you keep up a good work you'll be getting more requests with higher rewards."

With that, they left the building and are now walking home. While they were walking, They saw a familiar face loading boxes onto a cart that was connected to a carriage

"M-Momon?!" Momon turned his head to the source of the voice, and it was Tatsumi who was following a girl who wore expensive clothing. Nabe scowled seeing the boy again

"Tatsumi, it seems we meet again but uh what happened to you?"

"Yeah, a lot happened to me" Tatsumi sweat dropped

"I see"

"Tatsumi~ Who's this?" The girl asked Tatsumi

"Oh lady Aria this is my friend Momon and Nabe"

"Oh well pleased to meet you Momon, Nabe"

"Pleasure is all mine" Nabe only glared at the girl

"Hey why don't you guys come to my house we're going to have a big dinner tonight"

'Who would ever fall for this? This is just screaming a red flag'

"I'm Afraid we'll have to decline we still have duties to tend to."

"Oh what a shame" The girl said dejectedly

With that Momon and Nabe left and were walking back to their inn, while they were walking Momon saw a wanted poster out of curiosity he looked closer

"Night Raid, looks like they'll pay a pretty penny for even the location of their base"

"Sir Momon do you want to look for their bases now?"

"Not yet we don't know what they're capable of, so I'd rather avoid fighting them for now."

"Understood"

They made it to the inn and Momon had ordered Nabe to rest it was like that with every NPCs that it was starting to get annoying. It was late at night and Momon was walking through the city out of sheer boredom no one was outside on the street except him. Then he saw several figures jump from one roof to another.

"Hmmm. How interesting I think I'll have a look"

Momon took out a necklace and a scroll from his inventory. He threw the scroll into the air, and it disappeared in a blue flame. The scroll contained the spell [Perfect Unknowable] Momon then put on the necklace, and he started flying high into the air. He saw several figures and started to follow them. When he took a closer look, he recognized one of them.

"Night Raid, this could be a good way to gauge their strength"

Momon took this opportunity to see how Night Raid would assassinate people and how they gained such a reputation. Momon was following them until they reached a mansion Momon landed on the roof of the mansion to see everything then the one in purple went in along with the yellow one. Then there was bloodshed the guards outside were killed by the girl from the poster and the armored one. What interested momon was that the guard had strange markings on his body before he died.

"Could that be a teigu?"

Momon wasn't sure what could be classified as a teigu but if he had to guess that sword could be one of them. To Momon's Surprise, he saw Tatsumi.

'How come I always see this kid everywhere I go?'

Momon didn't care if Tatsumi died even if he was an acquaintance of his. Momon spotted Aria who was running away with her bodyguards the girl from the poster killed the bodyguards with one strike. Momon very interested in the confrontation flew to where they were. As the girl was about to kill Aria Tatsumi went in between her and Aria. Then the two got into a swordfight Tatsumi was simply swinging his sword. He tried to do a side sweep, but the girl jumped and got behind him and kicked him at his back and while he was stumbling the girl stabbed his chest.

"Tatsumi!" Aria cried out

Tatsumi fell to the ground, but the girl still pointed her sword at him.

"You won't even let your guard down and approach me?"

"I didn't feel it bite flesh"

"The guys from the village protected me."

"Eliminate"

The girl was charging toward Tatsumi with killing intent ignoring anything he said. But before she could kill him, she was grabbed by the back of her shirt by the yellow one

"What are you doing?"

"We still have time, right? I owe this guy a favor"

"You're the boob!" Momon face palmed at Tatsumi's announcement

"Yup the one and only onee-san from that time" Then she started to walk over to the shed

"Dude, you told us not to kill an innocent girl is that correct? Well, can you say that after seeing this?"

She then kicked the door open and what was inside surprised even Momon. There were humans brutally mutilated, and many were already dead. There were lots of screams of pain, but Momon felt nothing for them. Tatsumi on the other hand was shocked and looked disgusted.

"Take a look, this is the darkness in the Capital"

"W-What is this" Tatsumi quietly let out

"They lure unidentified people who came from the country with their sweet words, And subject them to their hobby of torture and toy until they die, That is the true nature of this household."

"S-Sayo hey Sayo!"

"So, there was someone you knew"

Then Aria started crawling away but the yellow one picked her up.

"Nu-Uh You're not getting off the hook by running away little lady"

"So, the people in this house did this?"

"That's right, The guards were keeping quiet about this so they're similarly guilty."

"I-It's a lie! I didn't even know there was a place like this! Are you going to trust these cold-blooded killers or the one who saved you?!"

Then someone from one of the cages spoke up

"Ta…Su…Mi… Tatsumi right? It's me."

"L-Leyasu?!"

"That girl Invited Sayo and me. And after we ate we lost consciousness and we were here when we came to Th-That girl tortured Sayo to death!" The boy in the cage shouted Momon was surprised he still had that much willpower Then the girl managed to escape the yellow one

"WHAT'S SO WRONG?! YOU'RE ALL JUST HICKS FROM THE COUNTRY, RIGHT?! THE SAME AS CATTLE! BESIDES, THAT GIRL WAS SO IMPERTINENT FOR HAVING SUCH STRAIGHT HAIR FOR A FARM ANIMAL! EVEN THOUGH I'M TROUBLED WITH SUCH CURLY HAIR! THAT'S WHY I AGONIZED HER SO METICULOUSLY! IN FACT, SHE SHOULD BE GRATEFUL THAT I TOOK SUCH GOOD CARE OF HER!" Her face contorted into a creepy one that Momon felt a little disturbed

"A family of sadists that takes the guise of Samaritans, Sorry for getting in your way akame."

"Eliminate"

"Wait." The two assassins were shocked

"Don't tell me you're still trying to defend her"

"I'll kill her" In a very swift motion of his blade he slashed her letting her bleed to death. The assassins were shocked that he killed her without hesitation, but Momon felt indifferent, Then the boy in the cage spoke up.

"Hehehe That's Tatsumi for you that felt great." Then the boy coughed out blood and fell to the ground

"What's wrong leyasu?!" Tatsumi crouched and started cradling his friend

"It's the last stages of the lubora disease, The mistress of this house enjoyed putting drugs in people's food and writing a diary about it he can't be saved anymore." Akame explained

"You know Sayo… She didn't submit to that fucking girl, even to the very end. It was so cool..." Leyasu died in Tatsumi's arms

"He was already in a state where he was hanging by willpower alone."

"What's wrong with the capital?" Akame then turned around

"Lets leave"

"shouldn't we bring that boy back with us?"

"Hm?" The yellow one grabbed Tatsumi by the back of his shirt

"Our hideouts are always short-handed. Don't you think he has luck, guts, and skill?"

"Lemme go I have graves to dig!"

"Ah ill bring their bodies back to the hideout don't worry"

Then they jumped high into the air onto the roofs making sure they were gone Momon Undid [Perfect Unknowable] he then shifted to his main gear he was now Ainz

'This could be an opportunity to see if humans in this world can learn magic' The idea was that if they did learn magic having them be indebted to him would allow him to ensure their loyalty and by resurrecting them they would know that he is not someone to be messed with.

"[Gate]" A large swirling portal appeared behind him and nabe stepped out of it

"Narberal Have the bodies here be transported to the 6th-floor Amphitheater"

"Understood Lord Ainz"

Ainz was very satisfied with the events of today he learned a lot about the world and he knew that night raid would be in need of new members he could send one of his NPCs there for intelligence gathering this was a good day for Ainz.
