I ended up grinding more and more levels and got some specialty classes I had gotten single blow to level 5 and martial master to level 10 for my basic combat style and I got Doppelganger to level 15 and Greater Doppelganger to level 10 for my racial classes. I could copy anyone and use all of their tier 80 or below skills and even when I wasn't copying them I was super tanky and could deal ridiculous amounts of damage. The only drawback to my build was that I couldn't use magic or magic tools without having something that would let me do so or being transformed into someone who could.
I also found out that if I died while transformed I would not only have that saved form deleted I would also receive the same amount of damage as the transformations hp. This was fine if I was hit with something that was going to be an instant kill since that would mean that I would survive it, but it was crap when I lost a form I liked. Magic casters were unfortunately glass cannons and I could go through them very fast if I wasn't careful.
I did find out something which had prompted me to change my play style a bit. I usually would go around in dungeons and grind as much as I could, but I had found out on accident a secret skill that I could abuse.
The skill was called cannibalize. It was both the most useful skill and the most time intensive. I had found this skill when I had hunted down a dragon and had gotten some truly terrible drops. It was mostly stuff like broken scales or cracked horns. The only thing that I had gotten that was useable was a slab of dragon meat. I was so mad since I had wasted a ton of time and items in order to solo a dragon and had gotten complete crap for my efforts. So I bit into the steak in anger and ate it raw just to spite the bastard.
That was when I got the skill cannibalize and the title kin eater. The skill let me absorb 1% of the dragons skills when I ate its meat raw. I was of course beyond excited. Dragons had immunities to their respective elements and had attacks that were specialized to them. For example an ice dragon was immune to cold damage and could shrug off an ice attack like it was nothing. It also had the ability to cause a cold field around itself that would cause DOT and could even cause freezing damage by imbuing it's attacks with ice elements.
I was in the land of the dead and was only finding dragons related to death such as zombie and poison dragons. There was a few more rare dragons such as the corpse and the vampire dragons. I didn't really consider the bone dragon since it didn't have meat, but I gave it a try anyways. The last dragon that could be found in Helheim and was the rarest dragon was the midnight bell dragon. It was apparently a dragon that only showed up at midnight to lead the dead to their next lives. I had to hunt that dragon for a hundred days in a row to complete it.
I spent the next few years hunting down dragons and eating them. I was called the cannibal dragon slayer and was treated respectfully by most players. Even the human players had been respectful of me since I treated everyone fairly and was strong enough to back it up. It also helped that I sold dragon goods if I felt like being generous.
I did take time off from hunting dragons to attend a few things I thought would be fun. I became the world champion of Helheim and got the class for it. There was only 5 levels I could get in it and I would have to win the Helheim tournament 5 times in order to gain all the levels.
The tournament was held once a year on the anniversary of the games release and was a giant festival and tournament all mixed into one. I shocked everyone when I had transformed into my enemies and used their own skills against them. I had then proceeded to transform into the thing they are worst against. If they were weak to magic I would become a wizard, weak to close combat, I became myself, I would turn into whatever and I was very skilled in using what I did.
I had bought dragon meat from players who were selling and ate that to speed up my quest to eat all of the dragons. It wasn't a game quest as much as a personal quest I made up.
I traveled the three demi human friendly worlds and hunted dragons all over the place. I did run into Nine's own Goal while I was traveling and helped them out with hunting down a couple of dragons. They offered to let me join their guild, but I turned them down by explaining that right now I was focusing on hunting dragons and wouldn't be a very good member due to being stuck in a world until I had gotten enough of them that I could move on to a new world. Though after I had finished my hunts and had free time to properly quest with them I would definitely join their guild. I added them to my friends list and told them that if they were ever looking for dragon related items or other items located near where dragons are they could message me and I would sell it to them for a discount.
They promised to message me every once in a while to keep me updated and to let me know if they heard about any rare dragons. It was nice to meet them and we ended up partying a few times to take down dragons or similarly large and dragon related monsters. Though the chimera with a dragons heart was interesting since the heart did apparently count and ended up causing me to spend another year hunting down dragon chimeras to try out whether I could get their skills.
I did get some really special dragon abilities over the course of my hunts. The most interesting ones were the dragons that were special event dragons or quest dragons. I had to buy the dragon meats that people would get from these events and once people found out that I would buy a piece from the events or quests they would always save them for me.
I even set up a list on the forum stating what dragons meat I was buying and which I had already had. I was welcomed pretty much everywhere since I would pay money for the goods and nobody wanted to piss off the guy paying for their useless stuff. There was one guy who tried to cause me problems and rip me off for more money, but once I refused to ever buy his meat and the meat of the people he came with it became obvious that I had the final say on what I would pay for and trying to rip me off or be rude to me would end up being a waste for the person.
I had gotten so many skills that some of them actually caused an overlap with the earlier skills, this caused the rate of skill absorption to go up. For example my fire immunity I had gotten from a Flame dragon was at 100% so it caused me to not need it again from the Bright flare dragon. Because of this I no longer needed as much meat since I already had the percentage amount of that dragons skills.
I kept on eating dragons up until my 7th year of the game when I came to realize that I had already eaten every single dragon in the game excluding special event dragons that hadn't come out yet and quest dragons that hadn't been found yet.
I decided to start raiding dungeons in search of dragons and let the guys from Nine's own goal know that I had finished hunting dragons and was simply going dungeon diving in dungeons that nobody had been to or hadn't been able to complete.
Touch me was excited about the fact that I had finally finished my hunt for dragons, but was also sad since the guild had been having talks about being disbanded. Everyone wished me luck and promised to stay in touch.
I spent a month searching high and low in Asgard for dragons and didn't find hide nor hair of any new dragons. I had long ago put up a request for any information on any new dragons that anyone found and hadn't gotten any replies, well nothing that wasn't already something I had hunted or wasn't a troll.
I ended up getting my last class and the final form for my Doppelganger race from Loki of all people. He gave me a quest to kill a certain witch in Midgard who had helped Odin to trap his children and had offered to turn me into the most powerful shifter, under him of course, known to man and god alike.
I of course agreed and went to Midgard to the place Loki had told me of and had a fight with the witch. I managed to win and returned to Loki with her grimoire as proof of killing her. Loki rewarded me by giving me my class and leaving in a puff of smoke.
My new class was called Otherman. It was the weirdest and possibly most broken class imaginable. I was able to transform into anything as long as I had saved it with as many as 200 saves available. I wasn't limited to just humanoids anymore and could even turn into a table if I wanted. It would last as long as I wanted and I would go into third person view whenever I used this transformation. I also was able to use 100% of the copies abilities and even their weapons and armors skills. It would be the same as fighting the original, albeit with less experience in using their skills. I could also shift into monster forms, though it was the same as my dragon form and couldn't be controlled.
The final skill I had gotten when I had reached Otherman level 5 and had reached level 100 was the most ridiculously broken thing I had ever seen in this game. It was called Otherman's other mans. It allowed me to create up to 200 NPC mercenaries using my saved transformations and they would all act to fight against my enemies. It was basically the same as being able to instantly summon an army all at once.
The only drawbacks to the skill is that it deleted all of my saved forms and it had a week long cooldown.
