By the time I had reached the capital I had wiped out 60% of the entire theocracies population and taken all of their slaves.
The only cities left were the three that were holding off the elves. The scriptures that had been in the elves territories had already withdrawn to fight against me and protect their remaining cities.
I stabbed the barrier with the sword as usual and walked through the collapsing barrier only to be teleported to a chamber with Ainz standing outside of another barrier. I was completely naked and wasn't able to summon any ki or mana.
"Well this is interesting." I said with a smile while I looked over to Ainz. "What is the meaning of this Ainz?"
I have been talking to some others people and I have learned a number of things from them and from Demiurge." He told me calmly while looking at me. "You are not even from my world and you knew before all of this that I would end up in this world if I stayed online. Why didn't you warn me?"
"Warn you, warn you and the others how? What could I have possibly said? Hey guys, did you know that if you stay online at the shutdown of this video game we all play you will be magically transported to another world where you will have god like power and everything will be like a video game with levels and skills and other things. I'm sure that would have been a great conversation, right before I got locked up for being insane." I sneered at him.
"You could have at least tried." Ainz said with anger.
"And the best case scenario is everyone laughing it off as some sort of joke and the worst was having them kick me out of the guild while treating me as some crazed lunatic. You and I both know that there wasn't a single thing I could have told any of you that would have ended well. Not to mention that everyone made their choices. They chose to quit the game and go back to their normal lives. You and I chose to stay in the game and now we are here."
"I didn't want this, I didn't want to be some undead monster ruling over people." Ainz shouted out. "If you had warned me I might have been able to stay back in my world, back in my life where I was just Suzuki Satoru and not the sorcerer king or the supreme being."
"So what?" I sneered at him. "Poor little Suzuki, wanting to go back to his poor little life of slavery in a world that was so corrupt and dying that nobody could even survive walking outside for longer than a few minutes at a time without being poisoned."
"Our world was a giant shit hole and was well on its way out long before you or I were even born. Now you have a chance to be everything you ever wanted to be and you are whining about how you wish you could go back to that shit hole of a world. It was a garbage world that had no future."
"It wasn't garbage. It was the place where all of my friends are at, where all of my memories, good and bad were made. It is where my home is and where I belong."
"You are an idiot. You really think that your old life was so wonderful, grow up Suzuki. You have good and bad memories there, you have new memories here. Your home is there, you have multiple homes a thousand times better than anything you have ever lived in here. Your friends are there, like you can't make friends here, not that you even tried here."
"You have been having a stressful time being ruler because you are trying to be perfect when everyone already knows you aren't. I told Demiurge about you before all of this and he knows you aren't perfect. You are the only one causing yourself stress."
"None of that matters." Ainz yelled out before drawing himself up to his full height. "I'm going back to my old world."
"Its been years, if our bodies were left there they have long since died and rotted. If you go back you are going to die, you are simply committing suicide."
"That doesn't matter, it's a chance that I'll have to take." Ainz said with a glare. "Players were never meant to be in this world anyways and I don't want to kill anyone anymore, it's time to go back while I am still me."
"Wait a second, who the fuck have you been talking to? That term, don't tell me." I let out a groan as multiple figures of dragons came out from the shadows to look down at me.
"Fucking dragons, you're listening to fucking dragons. They want to exterminate any players they come across. Suzuki you fucking deluded idiot."
"You are correct Alex that we dragons hate players immensely for the things they have done to us, but your words that day we fought were also true. It was our arrogance and our spell that brought you players into this world. We dragons will correct this mistake by using a spell to return you players back to where you belong. Even if it will cost all of our lives to do so, we will close the breach between our worlds and end this cycle of wrongs before it gets any worse." The brightness dragon lord said while looking at me.
I sneered at them and said. "I simply told you that you were the ones to bring me and other players here, not that I wanted to leave."
"That may be the case, but the only way that I can go back is if it is with you Alex." Suzuki said while looking at me.
"That is such bullshit and you know it. You came here with the tomb and all of the ones inside it, not just me. They are simply tricking you so that they can get rid of the both of us." I told him with a glare.
"It is true that you aren't necessary to send Suzuki back, however we can not leave you to run rampant in our world. You have already shown to be very damaging to the worlds balance." The dragon lords all nodded.
"Well if you think that this is bad then just wait until I get out of here." I yelled out at them while punching the barrier.
"That is not possible, we have already started the spell and it will be done before you get the chance to escape." The brightness dragon lord said while laying down as his scales started to dim.
"You think that you lot have the magic power to toss me out like garbage. Lets see how you handle this." I then used Otherman's other mans and had so many people in the barrier with me that we were piled on top of one another. All of the dragons and even Suzuki fell to their knees as my energy fought against theirs. They must have connected themselves to the spell in order to make sure that I wouldn't escape.
I then used a crap load of summoning's from my copies to further fill the barrier. The ground under us all started to shine with a rainbow array of lights as the spell got closer and closer to getting finished. Ainz started to use every item and skill he had to boost his mana reserves even as one of the dragons let out a screech before turning to dust and getting absorbed into the spell.
I and my clones used a dragon skill to increase our energies by how many draconic allies were nearby and it caused my energy to soar while the dragons outside continued to burst into dust one after the other with screeches.
"I will be free." I screamed out as I used my final form. My final form was me covered in black scales with red slit eyes and long curled horns that covered my head. My tail and spine had barbs that shot out while I grew a pair of large wings. My mouth grew more snout like and my fangs and claws became even sharper and shined with energy. The last part was that in each hand was an item from the two dragon world enemies I had defeated and were considered world ending items. They had been bound to my character the very moment I had gotten them and using either of them would cause an entire world to be destroyed along with my avatar.
I flew up above them and watched as all of the dragons except for the Brightness dragon lord who was barely alive and was staring at me in horror and fascination turned to dust.
"Don't do it Alex." Suzuki yelled out as soon as he noticed what it was I was holding.
"If this world wants to kill me then I will kill it first." I yelled out and activated the first item.
The thing I forgot was the long ass start up time, it took over a minute for it to start. Which was enough time for the Brightness dragon lord to sacrifice himself while whispering something to Suzuki.
He turned into dust slowly since he was forcing his magic into the spell. I watched as the spell continued to rise more and more and was causing winds to whip around and storm clouds to roil. The Brightness dragon lord spit out some blood before looking at me eye to eye.
"You are truly a monster Alex. To think that it took every last dragon left in existence to fight your power, it is truly a terrifying amount of power. However what I wanted to say was thank you. You have made my grand daughter a very happy mother and while you have caused a great deal of death and destruction you have also done more to make the world a better place than many before you have. You have made lives better for countless beings regardless of species. If it was not for the fact that you are a player and you don't belong here I would have enjoyed watching you rule your empire."
I shut down the activation of the item and let out a sigh. "Damn that isn't fair. Here I was trying to act the part of a villain and you had to go and be all emotional and nice and shit."
The Brightness dragon lord let out a chuckle before spitting out blood.
"I was going for the whole they sacrificed themselves to defeat the ultimate evil kind of setting, but I guess this is fine as well. After all even if I go back to the other world or die instantly my story is long from over." I told the dragons with a smirk.
"It must be truly painful to never be able to truly die." He laughed at me before grimacing in pain. "You must be so jealous of us mortals huh."
"Damn lizard, you really needed to rub it in didn't you." I told him with a growl before pulling out a bottle of alcohol from one of my clones. "It's nice to know they copy even things like this." I said with a smile. "I would offer you some, but... I tapped against the barrier."
"That is fine, perhaps in another life we can share a drink." He said as he laid down on the ground with only his head and front legs left.
"It'll be sooner than you know." I told him with a smirk before watching him give one last smile before bursting into dust. He was so ridiculously strong that even with the spell devouring him it took a good bit before he turned to dust. Long enough to have a proper conversation first. Though he is an ass for making my wives into a bunch of widows.
I floated over in front of Suzuki and said. "So how does it feel to know that you just wiped out an entire species for your own self centered greed?"
"Shut up Alex." Suzuki gritted out.
I just smirked and continued. "Poor, poor, little Suzuki. Your parents are dead, your friends are all dying or dead, the dragons who helped you are dead and even you might be dead. Not to mention you are going to make my children's father dead. Maybe that's the reason why you are an undead, you secretly wish you could be dead just like everyone around you."
"Shut up." Suzuki screamed at me.
"You are murdering me, why in the hell would I give a single shit about your worthless feelings." I sneered at him.
"If I do survive going back to our world I will make it my life's goal to hunt down and kill all of our old guild members and anyone else you have ever been close to. Oh right, I forgot to introduce myself properly. My name is Alex Hale the leader of our fair cities one and only gang and the wealthiest person there."
"You, you are Alex Hale?" Suzuki said in shock.
"Yes, and I'm sure you know exactly what that means for those who cross me. You just earned yourself a place at the top of my list Suzuki Satoru." I felt my body disappearing and looked him right in the eyes only to give a sinister smile. "See you on the other side Suzuki." I disappeared while laughing maniacally with the sight of Suzuki shuddering in fear as the light covered us both.
