The story of How to Train Your Dragon is a good one, and the world is full of potential. This is how I imagine it if age restriction were thrown out the window. A more realistic, dark and magic-filled take on HTTYD. Warning: Contains OC's, because honestly, those can't be the only kids in the entire village. On Hold.

We all know that Hiccup is pretty much hopeless with any sort of weapon that isn't related to dragons. Astrid, however, wants to convince Hiccup to at least consider giving weapons another go. Strange occurrences begin to take place after dark on Berk when the village's livestock get stolen. Each night, more and more is taken, but the situation doesn't get dire until one moonless night when Hiccup disappears as well. [I'm rating it T only because of the creature and its feeding habits]

It starts as a flashback to events from the movie & Gift of the Night Fury from Toothless' viewpoint and is set after the events of Dragons: Riders of Berk - What Flies Beneath.
