Ninja In The Web Chapter LXII: Sheep's Clothing, a Naruto + Ultimate Spider-Man Crossover fanfic

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto or Ultimate Spider-Man.

A/N: Remember to vote if you haven't! I was going to end it early as I didn't get any votes for a month but got 20 in the past week after updating Naruto On Board. I'm at 170-up now and if it isn't 190 by the time I get to s4 of Ultimate Spider-Man I'll take it down then instead of ep 13. BUT I WILL TAKE IT DOWN if I get to s4 of Korra first as that's only 13 episodes.

And then I will put up a quick one for Shinobi as we thought up something we feel we should also get your opinion on. And then another next story poll when either Ninja in the Web or Avatar Maelstrom ends.

ALSO, got a new beta for all stories minus the Star Wars, Young Justice, and Korra stories but as I sent them the chapter for Shinobi, water got on their laptop and that's in the shop. And that's why it was late. And they can't beta at the moment for a while but said to continue until they can.

Chapter LXII: Sheep's Clothing.

Last Time.

"Naruto… I don't… You're Shinobi?"

"Yep, I've been trying to talk to you as Shinobi to ask you-!" He stopped as she got up and ran off. "Maya, wait!"

"Must be that Uzumaki charm," Kurama said. "I'm surprised the others didn't run off."

"Shut it!"

Naruto got up and took care of the fire before running after Maya. He found her walking out of an old gym sans gun. "Look, Maya, I've been looking to talk to you about joining my team."

"Team?"

"Yeah, I'm training teenage heroes and I want you to join."

Maya looked down at that. "I… I don't know."

Naruto placed a hand on her shoulder having her lookup. "Hey, you got my approval."

"… Alright."

"Good!" Naruto grinned at that before walking away with Maya.

Now.

New York City, Night.

Shinobi landed on a building with Iron Fist before running with him and dropping down in an alley. "Wonder where Tiger is? She was supposed to meet us by now."

"Something is outta balance." Iron Fist spoke as Naruto brought his watch.

"Fury, White Tiger never showed."

"Her I.D.'s not registering in your sector. Probably nothing but I'll check it out. You focus on finding these two new heroes." Fury explained bringing up holograms of Cloak and Dagger before zooming in on Cloak. "Cloak can open a pocket to his own dimension. Allowing him to teleport anywhere." He showed Cloak disappearing in a circle before he zoomed in on Dagger who created light knives. "Dagger's his polar opposite, she can create daggers of light with powers we don't fully understand."

"So Cloak and Dagger?" Naruto asked before Fury came up on the watch.

"They're a formidable pair, so get to them as quickly as possible. One more thing: We're only interested in recruiting Dagger. Not Cloak."

Naruto turned his watch off before Iron Fist spoke. "Seems wrong to split them up. There can be no darkness without light or light without darkness"

"Not going to… This is my team. Fury does not have a say in who I can bring in." Naruto said before they walked down the alley. And had Cloak appear in front of them. "Cloak? OK, that was easy, where's Dagger?"

Cloak stayed silent before opening his cloak, having mindless ones run out to attack them. Naruto attacked them and destroyed them before one caught Iron Fist and ran back into Cloak who disappeared. Naruto ran over, only to dodge light daggers before jumping on a fire escape. And came face to face with Dagger who held one in her hand having it glow as well as her scar. "Leave him alone!"

Naruto looked down to see Cloak disappear. "And he's gone!" Naruto sighed and looked at Dagger. "And I'm guessing you're Dagger?"

"How do you know my name?!"

"I've been looking for you! Besides, you're buddy just took my friend!" Naruto yelled before dodging more daggers and grabbing her. "Stop!" She responded by having a blue ball cover them. He let her go before looking at his hands. "What was that? I feel good."

"It.. Was… My… Purifying… Blast." She panted as Naruto walked toward her as she held her head. "It was all I had left."

She lost her balance before Naruto caught her and put her in a crate. "OK, what's up?"

"I-I don't know… It's like Cloak is under some sort of spell or something. A few days ago, those things attacked us and he portaled away and never came back. Next thing I know he's all evil and capturing people."

"Those things are called mindless ones… They're followers of a demon who tries to get over here. If he's involved, then there's one person who can help." Naruto said, holding his hand out. "So let's go find him."

"I don't even know-"

"Shinobi, Avenger. There we're not strangers anymore."

Later, Naruto landed on a roof and saw that Dr. Strange's house wasn't camouflaged. "That's not good."

"What?" Dagger asked as she walked up.

"Dr. Strange usually hides his house… If it's not then something must be draining the magic."

"Cloak's in there… We have this bond thing." Dagger explained to Naruto before they dropped down the steps.

They walked in and saw Strange fighting mindless ones before Naruto threw kunai bombs. Suddenly, Cloak appeared and released more mindless ones. "Any idea what they want?"

"No, I don't!" Strange replied before he was caught before being taken to Cloak as Dagger was thrown at Naruto who caught her, looked up and saw Strange throw his talisman at him.

He caught it before the cape appeared and attacked his costume turning it blue with the pattern that was on Strange's. "(Sigh) must be big if Strange trusted me with his cape and talisman," Naruto said before the collar started touching his mouth. "Quit it!"

"Do something!" Dagger yelled running up.

"I don't know how to use this stuff! It's not like I can say Eye of Agamotto, take us to Dr. Strange!" The eye opened and a portal formed under them. "Really?" He asked before they fell.

Dark Dimension.

The two fell on a rock path and looked up to see a peak. "Cloak is up there!"

"Look, can your purifying thing work on him?" He asked before she ran down the path before following. They then came up to Cloak before Naruto stopped Dagger. "Wait! Remember he's not himself."

Cloak turned and had his cloak attack the two before Naruto conjured bolas' and wrapped them around Cloak. Dagger then held a ball to his face. "I can't keep this up forever!"

"Any way to get into his mind?" Naruto asked Dagger who looked over.

"In the darkness of his cloak."

"Then I'll go in."

"How do I know you can do it!"

"I deal with something similar," Naruto said as he walked over. "But you're just gonna have to trust me."

She created a dagger and handed it to him. "Take this."

Naruto dived into the cloak and found himself in complete darkness. "Cloak?"

"Who are you?"

"I'm Shinobi, Dagger helped me get in. We know Dormammu's got a hold on you." Naruto replied, looking around.

He then saw Cloak walk up, eyes glowing and having a blue hoodie on with jeans.

"I'm here to help."

"You can't even help yourself!" Cloak had black mist hit Naruto who blocked them before diving forward. "Come on, what about Dagger?" Naruto asked, pulling his mask up. "Look I know what you're going through, having powers that people would find scary, getting power thrusted upon you. But Dagger believes in you and that's good enough for me!"

"Throw the dagger, hit me!"

"Sure that'll work?" Naruto asked as Cloak nodded as the fire dimmed.

He threw it at the teen hitting him and having the place glow before being shot out. "Dormammu's building an army to take over the Earth!" Cloak said as Naruto sighed.

"Of course."

"Got Dr. Strange, Iron Fist, and another girl, white cat?"

"White Tiger? Then we're going after him."

"We're leaving."

"We should stay." Dagger said, crossing her arms. "Shinobi helped us."

"But he said not to trust anyone."

"Who said that?" Naruto asked as Dagger looked at Cloak, having him sigh.

"Alright. We'll help but I don't like it."

"Can you take us to the others?" Naruto asked Cloak who shook his head.

"No, Dormammu will sense us coming and kick us out."

"Cape?" Naruto looked down before purple energy covered them before they flew off.

They then came to a castle before walking in. And saw Tiger, Fist, and Strange backs to them. "Guys?" Naruto asked as they turned. And showed Tiger and Fist had glowing eyes while Strange had blue skin and was bald.

"Shit!" Naruto dodged Iron Fist's attack before throwing bolas' at him, doing the same to White Tiger before bringing them together. "Dagger, quick!"

She hit the two, having a bright light blinded them for a moment. Once it was gone, they saw the two were in new costumes. White Tiger's stripes are darker, making her appear more tiger-like. She also has four new ones on her mask, two under both eyes, and two under those that extend from her jaw to next to her nose. The White Tiger amulet has moved from her hips to her chest, it also resembles the Unleashed appearance that it had when Kraven wore it.

Iron Fist now has gold on his shoulders, a gold dragon on his chest, and a matching gold belt, boots, and gauntlets.

"Let's get Strange and get the hell outta here!" Naruto yelled before looking at Strange.

And saw Dormammu standing behind him holding a red and gold gem. Naruto dashed forward and started attacking Strange as the others attacked Dormammu before Dagger came down Naruto grabbed Strange and freed him with her purifying spell.

The cape flew off Naruto and back to Strange before he created a spell that destroyed the castle before Cloak teleported them.

New York.

The group appeared in Strange's home before seeing Cloak screaming before Dormammu took his place. Naruto then grabbed Strange's cape, put it on, and created a rope to hold Dormammu as Strange attacked, sending him back before Cloak appeared again. "Dormammu has been sealed back in his dark dimension and your friend is free of his influence," Strange said as his cloak went back to him.

"Oh, here," Naruto said, holding the gem out to Strange. "I was able to get this from him.

"No." Strange shook his head. "Dormammu knew I had possession of the Siege Perilous, I feel it would be safer in S.H.I.E.L.D. 's hands."

Later.

Outside, Naruto stood on a roof with Cloak and Dagger explaining why he sought them out. "When you're ready…" Naruto handed them a S.H.I.E.L.D. card. "Let me know."

"You… Work for S.H.I.E.L.D.?" Dagger asked as Naruto shook his head.

"With them. My team was training with them before I took over as their teacher."

Cloak took it, nodded, and teleported away with Dagger as Tiger and Fist dropped down. "Letting them go?"

"They need time." Naruto sighed before looking back. "I'm not going to force them. Now… Who's up for Chinese food? My treat." Naruto said as he started at Tiger's emblem that was on her chest.

"My eyes are up here."

"I've made my choice," Naruto replied with a smile having his girlfriend sigh.

On the other side of the city, Taskmaster was talking to Cloak and Dagger revealing he's training them before they crushed the card Naruto gave them after he convinced them that S.H.I.E.L.D. would use them.

A Few Days Later, Morning.

Naruto dropped on a rooftop to see Juggernaut being beaten by a swarm of squirrels with one of the girls that were on his list. He then dropped down to see the destroyed corner as the girl sat on the rubble with all but four squirrels leaving. "Shinobi?!" She exclaimed as she looked at Naruto. "You're the best at this hero that saves the day and stuff! You like how I totally handled the Juggernaut?"

"You call this handling him?" Naruto asked, glancing at the description before calling a S.H.I.E.L.D. helicopter that arrested the villain who was pretending to be knocked out. "You caused at least a million in damage. You want to do this then you will…" He trailed off seeing she was gone. "… Of course."

Other Side Of Town.

Shinobi dropped by an apartment building before walking inside. He went to the top floor and came to a door before knocking on it. A moment later, he saw the girl answer but in jeans and a brown shirt. "Shinobi?! What do you want?"

"Hello, Doreen. I'm here to talk about joining up with me… Squirrel Girl."

"… OK…" She turned to let him in as Naruto looked to see squirrel feeders around along with houses along the walls.

He then turned to Doreen and noticed that her ass was larger than it was in her costume…. Not that he was checking her out earlier.

"Yes, you were." He heard Kurama having Naruto sigh.

"Are you checking out my butt?"

"W-What? No!" Naruto spoke as she looked over her shoulder.

"It's alright. I'm used to double takes… I hafta stuff my tail in my pants to hide it. So that gives me a conspicuously awesome butt." She said pointing at her ass, having Naruto sigh.

'I kinda agree.' He thought before speaking as they got to the kitchen having squirrels run out. One having a pink bow. "Are your parents here?"

"I just moved out."

"Really?"

"Yeah, I turned eighteen recently and it was time for me to fly outta the nest. Plus I wanted to start being a hero and didn't want to risk getting them involved." Doreen explained before the bow-wearing squirrel got on Naruto's head and curled up. "Tippy Toes likes you… She doesn't usually trust newbies."

"I'm special then." Naruto smiled as he scratched the squirrel behind her ear, having her squeak. "Now… About you joining."

Tri-Carrier.

Shinobi landed on the Tri-Carrier and saw Spider-Man with someone in the Iron Spider suit. "This Cho?" Naruto asked, walking up.

Spider-Man nodded and explained that he and Amadeus had fought Taskmaster who tried to get him to join up with him. Just then, Echo and Agent Venom walked out. "Agent Venom was bad, now he's good?" Iron Spider asked looking over. "And we're going to be on the same team?" (1.)

"Venom was a symbiote that latched onto Agent here… So far, he's able to control it. I'm putting together another team for the new teen heroes that are coming up that want to join… And yeah, that's mainly to keep anyone from becoming a villain."

"Like the ones on Taskmaster's list?" Iron Spider asked, getting Naruto's attention.

"What?"

Later, Cho explained he hacked Taskmaster's tech after Taskmaster tried to hack the suit and found out Taskmaster had the newest list of teens that they had. "He has our newest one." Fury said to Naruto in a room looking at the list. "We just added Amadeus to it yesterday."

"So either we have a mole, or Taskmaster broke into our system." Naruto mused before sighing. "I'm not losing to him in this race."

A Couple Of Days Later.

Shinobi listened to Spider-Man on finding a teen that could transform into a half vulture who lost his memories. And found out that Octavius was behind it before trying to break him out for answers. And after fighting him to get answers, S.H.I.E.L.D. captures the doctor and lets Adrian go who wants to find out about his past.

"Well, if he does want to join, it'll be alright with me."

On the other side of the city, Taskmaster got Vulture to join by revealing he knows his past and will give it to him if he joins up with him.
