Chapter Two

Harry spent the summer before sixth year with his fathers at the villa in Italy the Potters owned, another of the many things Dumbledore neglected to inform him of, despite the beauty of the place he was irritated beyond belief right now. Sirius and Remus had kept their positions in the order only to glean more information about what Dumbledore was scheming and they had just come back from a meeting. Albus was trying to meddle in Harry's life again, trying to separate him and his family. He wanted to send Remus off to the wolf packs, like he did when the wolf was younger, for and undetermined amount of time effectively separating Remus from Harry and Sirius. However, the meddling didn't end there, he wanted Sirius to reinstate the betrothal contract between him and Ginny and send him off to live at the Burrow. The old coot said that Harry would be safer at the Burrow and that he felt that he was probably lonely with just the two wizards, soon to be one if Remus accepted his mission. He tried to convince Sirius that Harry would learn to love Ginny since he had always wanted to be apart of the Weasley family anyway, long before he had even ever known about Sirius. The undermining was subtle, but they understood the doubt he was trying to put into Sirius mind, that Harry really wanted to be with the Weasleys not him, that he wasn't good enough or strong enough to protect Harry. Remus said he would think about accepting the mission, however the three of them knew he would not. Sirius outright refused to reinstate the contract with the Weasley's saying that Harry would decide who he wanted to marry himself, he also refused to send him to the burrow stating Harry was safer within the Potter family wards of one of the many properties they had owned.

Harry was trying to calm himself down, so he didn't take the wand Siris had got him last summer, the one without the trace, and start blasting things apart. He really hated Dumbles. Breathing deeply, he tried to focus on meditating trying to think of what his animangus form may be. Sirius had been teaching him and Remus to become animangus over this past holiday, getting the mandrake leaf into Moony's mouth and applying the sticking charm underneath the full moon had been an interesting ordeal luckily with the help of wolfsbane potion he retained his mental faculties and did not try to eat them. They had just finished adding the dew for a week and the chrysalis of a Death's-head Hawk moth. Their potions were now sitting in a safe, quiet, dark place waiting for the next storm when they would get it as soon as the lightning strikes and then drink it and recite the incantation. Meditating was proving futile, though his anger still receded as excitement took over. Sirius had told him some things about being an animangus that quite interested him, because Sirius was a dog he retained some of his canine senses even when he reverted back to human form. He kept his heightened hearing and sense of smell, as well as enhanced eyesight, and the insatiable libido of the dog as well his god father had added with a wry smirk and a wink. Being able to sense things in a way others could not appealed to him, he only hoped he would become an animal with useful heighted senses as well.

Sirius and Remus came out to the veranda surrounding the pool to join him, Remus was looking at him reproachfully while Sirius just looked incensed, probably by what good ol' Dumbles was trying to do to their little happy family. Remus gave Sirius a silent look that did not go unnoticed by Harry, his godfather then schooled his features as well, he was pissed about the old wizard but he didn't know if Harry would take the plan he has come up with well so he wanted to appear calm. Sirius knew that Harry and Draco had become closer over the last year, but he wasn't sure on how he'd take the other people coming to the villa to help them in their endeavour against the crazy old man. Taking a deep breath and stealing himself for the response of the young wizard he began, "Harry we have some news, some people are coming to stay the rest of the summer at the villa with us, they wish to help us in our plans against Albus. They are also tired of him meddling in the lives of everyone all in the name of 'the greater good'"

"Okay…that's a good thing, right? Why do you sound so hesitant?" Harry replied eying the men warily.

"We're just not sure how you're going to react to the news of who it is," Remus gently spoke up grabbing Sirius hand and taking a deep breathe before letting out quickly, "It's the Malfoy's…..and Snape," the men braced themselves for Harry's reaction.

Harry chewed his cheek trying to bite back his initial reaction to having to spend time with the bloody bat of the dungeons, he also didn't know how to feel since Snape was already a spy for Dumbledore when it came to Voldemort, would he just be spying on Harry as well? "How do we know we can trust him? He's already a spy for Dumbles, how do we know he won't spy on me for him as well?" Harry put voice to his thoughts.

"He wishes to speak to you Harry, there was a lot more to the past then you know right now. If after your talk you still feel uncomfortable to have him here, we will send him away," Remus replied pragmatically.

Harry was hesitant but he nodded and the three of them got up and headed into the villa, Harry went upstairs to change while Sirius and Remus went into the drawing room to wait for their summer guests to floo in. Harry changed into a pair of ripped black muggle jeans and an old band tee, he hiked on a pair of socks and his trusty doc martins before facing himself in the mirror and deeming himself good enough. He had adopted Sirius muggle punk style a bit and it suited him quite well. Since eating well, exercising, and a bizarre burst of magic on his sixteenth birthday had caused him to shoot up in height to 6'6 as well as gain quite a bit of defined muscle. His green eyes sparkled behind with mischief under his glasses and his smirk spoke of all things naughty. Harry knew the other students of Hogwarts would have a hard time resisting him this year, not that he had to wait that long to find out how his looks affected witches and wizards alike, he had been having quite a lot of fun in Italy so far this summer. He made his way downstairs inspecting his chipped black nail polish as he thought of his latest flavour of the week, Paloma. She was a tall blonde witch with a lithe but curvy body, she had golden sun kissed skin and blue eyes that bellied all of her dirty intentions. He had been quite enjoying his time with her, so far she had lasted long than any other witch or wizard who had caught his fancy this summer, he could see himself staying in her company for the last weeks of the summer. She was sexy in the most sinful of ways, there was absolutely nothing modest about her, mind you there usually wasn't in the partners Harry chose.

Harry entered the drawing room just as the fireplace roared to life with green flames a Mr. Malfoy stepped out, he was closely followed by his wife and son, with Severus Snape taking up the rear. Lucious and Narcissa looked regal as ever while silently appraising the place, Draco shot Harry a wry smirk that practical spoke of all the mischief the two of them would get up to while he was here, and they didn't have to pretend not to like each other. Snape stood solemnly behind them, his look was dark as always but Harry could see the reproach in his black eyes as they bore into his own.

"Cissa! Luci! So happy to see you! And you too little Draco!" Sirius loudly welcomed them.

"I've told you not to call me Luci, Black," Lucious sneered at the man while Draco huffed indignantly mutter something about being decidedly not little under his breath. Sirius only laughed and hugged his favourite cousin a kissed her cheek.

"Snape," Sirius' greeting of the dark man was a lot more reserved nodding in reply Snape gave a curt "Black," in return before turning his dark gaze on Harry again.

"I believe we have things to discuss Mister Potter." Snape's low drawl left no room for argument and Harry had to stop himself from actually growling at the man for bossing him around in his own home, "After you," he swept his hand out to gesture towards to door. Harry actually did release a small growl from the back of his throat at that before stomping out of the room and heading towards the library. Harry decidedly hoped that his animangus form would be canine somewhere in the back of his mind, otherwise this growling thing would become quite embarrassing.

Leading his potions professor into the library he directed him to take a seat on one of the plush leather chairs, Harry sitting across from him. "This is a long story and I would prefer you do not interrupt, if you do I will silence you until I am done. This is not an easy tale for me and I do not wish to repeat things more than necessary, do you understand?" the dark man spoke once he made himself comfortable. His long lean legs were crossed, is arms bent and resting on his knee where long, pale, boney fingers seemed to lock together in a death grip.

Harry was frustrated by the mans bossiness but he couldn't deny he wanted to know what was causing such turmoil in those dark eyes, so he nodded his head silently, "I am not a nice man Harry. However, I am not as cruel as I have made myself out to be, your mother and father knew that" and so his tale began. Snape told Harry about becoming best friends with his mother at a young age, how they had bonded over magic long before they had gotten their Hogwarts letters. He was the one who introduced her to the magical world she learned to love so much, he told him how the marauders had bullied him relentlessly for just being a Slytherin, although he did not deny that he often gave as good as he got. He told Harry about how he fell in with the wrong crowd hoping for the teasing from the Gryffindors, as well as the ones in the common room from his own housemates about him being a poor half blood to stop, how awful his home life was and then he told him how he had finally burnt the bridge between Lily and him that he never wished to burn, of his desperate apologies and then finally how the headmaster had come to him. Dumbledore offered him a position in the order but only if he joined the dark lord to become his spy, the old man convinced him that doing this would redeem him in Lily's eyes. Except the old man had him take an unbreakable vow, to not let anyone know of his spy status without his express permission would cause Severus' death. Dumbledore had Severus deliver the prophecy to Voldemort knowing what it meant for his parents even though snape did not. When he had found out what the prophecy meant for Lily Severus was enraged, he went to Voldemort to beg for the Potter's lives. Voldemort agreed to grant him a boon for being a loyal follower and agreed to not kill the family if he could guarantee that Harry would not come to kill him one day, if he could get the Potter's to agree to let Snape train him with Voldemort sponsoring it. It was at that point that Snape knew he had a choice to make, and he would always choose Lily, he asked Riddle if he knew of anyone who could destroy an unbreakable vow and he had set him up with an unspeakable who managed to break the old wizards hold on him. With the hold broken he was able to go to Lily and James in the middle of the night and tell them what had transpired and of his spy status, he had made an unbreakable vow to them to protect Harry no matter what. A vow he was only too happy to make should it grant him his best friend back. For the next while the Potter's had worked with Snape to plot against Dumbledore, unfortunately for them their rat of a friend was playing both sides and informed Dumbledore of where the Potters were hiding. Albus used dark magic to lure Voldemort there where he then imperiused him into committing the murder of Harry's parents and subsequent attempted murder of him. To protect Harry Snape had to continue to pretend to be under the old coot's thumb when he ordered him to be borderline abusive to Harry and his classmates he had to concede, just as he had convinced the Malfoy's and other 'Death-eaters' to act like Voldemort's cause was really about blood purity like Dumbledore had convinced everyone, they had to keep up appearances after all. Apparently, it was not, Riddle's desire had always been to get Dumbledore out of power, he hated the way the old wizard manipulated everyone to his whim inciting 'the greater good'. The dark wizard finished off his story by offering his support of Harry's endeavour to go against Dumbledore, as well as his brethren's and 'the dark lord's' support. He even agreed to take an unbreakable vow with Harry stating that he would never betray Harry, his friends and family, or his cause.

After that long and utterly captivating tale and an unbreakable vow the summer seemed to fly by. A few short days after the discussion in the library a Storm hit in Italy, running to where they had hidden their potion Remus and Harry quickly downed it before reciting the incantation. The first transformation had been excruciating but as the weeks went by the shift got easier for Harry. He was right when he had assumed all the growling came from being a canine, he was a large black wolf an Alpha if he were to believe Sirius. Malfoy and Harry had gone to many wizarding and muggle bars Harry picking up people of both genders while Malfoy stuck to the fairer sex and it all went by in a whirlwind of hormones, sex, animalistic instincts, and learning some magic on the dark side while the adults holed up in Remus' study and plotted against the old wizard who seemed intent on ruining all their lives.

Harry and Malfoy were getting ready to head to Kings Cross, they were to floo to the leaky and then make their way to platform 9 ¾ with their parents, Snape had already left to be back at Hogwarts by the time the students arrived. Harry looked over himself in the mirror one last time, he was wearing a pair of black leather pants with chains hanging down from his belt loops, he had on a slightly fitted 'Rolling Stones' tee he had stolen from Sirius collect, the tattoos on his forearms (a stag, doe, werewolf, and big black dog with the new addition of his large black wolf form) contrasted darkly with his pale skin and his chipped black nail polish did as well. He completed the look by wearing contacts instead of glasses, black liner rimmed his eyes, and his trust pair of black doc martin platform leather boots. "Eat your heart out Hogwarts," he smirked to himself before levitating his trunk with a flick of his hand and having it follow him down the stairs. Meeting his fathers and the Malfoys in the drawing room they each made their way into the fireplace, loud calls of 'The Leaky Cauldron' ringing out before each of them disappeared in a surge of green flames.

As soon as Harry entered the Leaky he could feel all the eyes on him, taking a deep inhale he also smelt the arousal thick in the air. Letting a devilish smirk cross his face he winked at the closest wizard exuding the scent before strutting out of the leaky into muggle London dragging his trunk behind him. The canine in his was wagging its inner tail at all the sexual attention he was getting, and Harry knew he looked good. Watching the Malfoy's look around muggle London like a bunch of American tourists made Harry laugh, so did seeing the smaller form of Draco struggling to carry his trunk without a levitation charm. Harry was internally cringing yet delighted to see was Ron's reaction to him and Draco becoming so close would be. He knew it would push the redhead over the edge and part of him couldn't wait, he knew Hermione would take his side if Ron started acting like a prat and to be honest, he really didn't like the way Ron had started to look at her last year. He still had those possessive feelings from fourth year, they had yet to turn into any kind of romantic inclination so he didn't think he would develop any. No, he just knew Hermione was his and he had no desire to share her attention with anyone else, not matter how selfish it may be. Harry also figured he had the right to be a bit selfish after what his life had been like so far.

Crossing the platform into 9 ¾ Harry heard Sirius suck in a deep breath before letting out a low, "well thank crice for muggle clothes." Looking to see what had caught Sirius attention he followed his line of site to a witch bent over her trunk looking for something in her purse, a witch with the most deliciously round arse he had ever seen clad in a pair of skin-tight black leggings. His eyes hungrily devoured the tiny witch's curves promising himself he would get his hand wrapped firmly around that arse before first term ends.
