"-ggs is down! I repeat, Jiggs is down! Requesting immediate military support! Our rifles and grenades aren't even scratching this bastard!"

"Understood. The Army is already en route, do your best to keep the target away from civilians and get them evacuated, Rhodes."

"Yes s-AAAH!"

NYPD's Lieutenant Todd almost puked his guts out as he saw what had become of the man beside him. A light pole had been thrown their way by an explosion and it had simply gone through Rhodes' waist, leaving his guts all over the place as the man died within a moment, a horrified expression plastered over his face.

"Fuck!" He cursed. "At this rate, there isn't going to be a police or SWAT officer alive in the city!"

As if to support his words, a block of concrete was hurled into an armored SWAT van, tearing through it and smashing the police car behind it, both going up in flames within moments.

"HA! A fuckin' handgun?" A loud voice boomed. "You might as well wave a white flag for me to paint it red!" Following the proclamation were the sounds of more death and carnage, screams of his squadmates interspersed with explosions and crashing sounds, making goosebumps rise through his body.

Gritting his teeth, he rose from behind the barricading they had set up, Rhodes' M16 that he had picked up from the fallen SWAT officers' remains was clutched in his hands, and never was he so thankful for his time served in the military before he took aim and shot the grenade from the launcher mounted to the barrel.

With a trail of smoke left in its wake, the explosive closed in on the crimson-armored behemoth and exploded, but he knew better than to assume that Juggernaut would be harmed by it; he had seen the news when the Juggernaut had first been caught. It wasn't pretty then either.

With a burst of roaring laughter, the giant monster lumbered towards him, his arms and face covered in blood and gore, his eyes gleaming with madness and glee, making him shiver despite the hundred feet distance between them. Snapping off a burst towards him, Todd ran back, trying to put as much distance as he could between himself and the Juggernaut.

"RAAARGH!" Todd shouted, his bullets pinging off the Juggernauts' armor and the equally impenetrable skin as the behemoth of a man rapidly stalked towards him. He saw him casually backhanding a woman trying to move inside an alley, making her top half disperse into red mist and paint the walls crimson.

Stuffing another grenade into the barrel and launching it towards him, he watched in shock as the Juggernaut simply caught the smoking shell in his hand before chucking it behind him into a building, raining glass and debris all over the road. His M16 clicked empty a couple of rounds later and with a shout, he threw it away and ran into the destroyed cars thrown all over the road. Jumping and sliding over the hoods, he tried to run away but it was all for naught.

With a single jump, Juggernaut cleared the several dozen feet that used to separate them, landing just a few yards in front of the police officer. The road cracked from the force of the landing and Todd fell on his face from the suddenly shaking ground. Tears filled his eyes as the pain from his nose breaking from the fall registered, and then they started to pour out when he realized what was about to happen. A big hand grabbed him by the back of his shirt and lifted him, Juggernaut's blood-covered face and his sick grin occupying his vision.

"I was perfectly content to leave you guys alone and just bash in my brothers' skull," he spoke in a scathing voice. "But you guys just can't leave people to go about their business in peace, can you? Now all of your friends are dead because some higher-up didn't want me out having a bit of a family reunion."

Todd just stared at the glaring face before him through the tears that filled his vision, the comments making something inside him snap and he quickly drew his pistol before shooting the monster right in the eye. With a burst of blood, the giant fell back and Todd became free from the crushing grip, or at least that is what should have happened. What instead happened was, the bullet struck Juggernaut's eye…and it just bounced off like softball, striking his arm on its way to the ground. The sound of metal hitting the road was the only thing he could hear for the next moment, his eyes going dead as he looked at the limply held pistol and the flattened bullet on the ground.

"You have guts," Juggernaut said, shaking him slightly. "Now let's see 'em!"

As the meaty fist around him slowly started tightening, Todd was reminded of a python strangling a rabbit only in this case, the python wasn't going to swallow him whole. He felt his ribs creak and a pained groan came from him, the Juggernaut chuckling a little at the sound. When he was sure that at least half of his ribs had soundlessly turned to dust, he felt Juggernaut jerk somewhat and the next second he was flying through the air, his chest screaming in protest at the sudden movement.

Before he could crash through anything, a familiar sensation of getting stuck to a net came over him and he sighed in relief at the fact that Spiderman was here. If there was anyone he knew who could stand a chance against the Juggernaut, it was the resident superhero of New York. With that last thought, Todd fell unconscious, the events of the last few minutes too much for his body to handle.

"Get to Times Square, the Juggernaut is loose and heading towards somewhere in New York itself. Hold him off until the Avengers arrive and we find a way to stop him."

Those were the words Fury had told him when he had been walking home from the school, the man's commanding voice blasting through the earpod he had been using with all the calmness of a raging storm. Running into an alley, he ran up the wall and dumped his bag into a chimney shaft, sticking it to the side before he changed into his suit. After putting on his mask, he swung his way through the skyscrapers towards Times Square and when he finally arrived at the location? He wished he hadn't.

He was no stranger to violence and either to death, both of which seemed to plague his life incessantly, but the carnage before him? That was something he had never seen before. His enhanced nose was almost overwhelmed by the smell of piss, shit, and blood with an unhealthy amount of smoke mixed in, courtesy of the fiery wrecks of the dozens of vehicles.

Dead bodies littered the ground, the blood pooling and flowing through the cracks and the dents in the road. A gunshot caught his attention and he turned his eyes towards the sound, his mouth dropping open momentarily at the sight. A ten feet tall behemoth, clad in crimson armor and a helmet and covered in blood was holding an NYPD officer by his shirt, slowly squeezing the life out of him with the other.

Tensing his legs, he shot forward off the ledge he was on before dropping rapidly towards the creature responsible for the death and destruction around him. Drop-kicking the giant man, he shot a web behind the officer who was flying by the Juggernaut before he kicked off the chest piece of the armor into the air. Snapping off a web-line, he swung himself high into the air before he landed on a destroyed car.

"So you are the Juggernaut huh?" He asked. "Yeah, sure. You totally don't seem like an unhinged psychopathic villain."

Juggernaut simply laughed and jumped up, reaching a height of almost a hundred feet before he dropped down with all the force of a bomb, shattering the road around him and sending the cars and debris into the air, along with a slightly panicked arachnid. He had expected tremendous strength; nowadays it seemed like everyone and their mother and dog had it. He wondered if it could be considered a stereotype now. However, the level of power Juggernaut just displayed was something slightly above his weight class.

"I guess kid's gloves are off now," he muttered as he spun and rapidly slingshotted himself towards the hulking brute, "Wonder what his mom fed him while growing up?"

His feet landed on Juggernaut's chest, sending him stumbling back a step before he ducked underneath a punch and kicked his knee, making the man stumble some more. However, before he could do anything else, Juggernaut's leg moved faster than it had any right to and he was kicked; hard. Two of his ribs snapped underneath the blow and he was sent flying back into the streetlight, making him groan in even more pain.

Shaking the cobwebs from his mind, Peter stood up and ran towards the Juggernaut and jumped clear over his head, twisting his chest to avoid a punch before he shot webs at the cars behind him and slammed them into Juggernaut with a jerk of his wrists. Shooting a web line at a building across from him, he jumped up and started swinging around, launching webs at the Juggernaut and connecting them to the surrounding infrastructure. Despite the webs being nothing more than an annoyance for someone of Juggernaut's weight class, two minutes and hundreds of web strings later, he was looking like a cocooned insect ready for devouring, not a hint of his body except for his face visible underneath that thick webbing.

"Damn, look what a Spider dragged in," he taunted as he alighted in front of the struggling villain. "Now you just be quiet while someone with bigger brains than you figures out how to keep you down."

"This?" The Juggernaut laughed. "This is going to keep me down? Bug, I am strong enough to collapse entire mountains. This shit ain't gonna hold me for even a second more. Playtime's over, insect!"

The next moment, Juggernaut slightly shifted his arms, but it was enough to rip away all the webs and bring down the buildings around him, enveloping him in a cloud of dust. It was only his instincts and spider-sense which made him duck in time from the impossibly fast punch that came towards his head before he scrambled away from the laughing madman.

Despite his situation, Spiderman couldn't help but retort, "Spiders are not insects! You're the second muscle head to call me that recently. What gives?"

"Come on, Spider," came the response to his comment as Juggernaut barreled out of the dust cloud, "Where is that confidence now, ha?!"

With a roar, Juggernaut stomped on the ground and the whole city shook in response, the cars and debris all shooting up in the air while the surrounding buildings started collapsing. Swinging between the airborne concrete and metal, he tried to put some distance between himself and the Juggernaut but his spider senses kicked in and he turned around to look with eyes as a large hand grabbed his leg, a sick grin on his helmeted face. He was thrown through the air and he felt more of his bones crack and break as he was sent through two buildings and dozens of walls before skipping and rolling on the ground, his suit and skin getting shredded in the process.

"You alright son?" A voice asked, making him focus through his blurry vision, to find Captain America's face looking down at him.

Almost falling unconscious due to the pain he was now experiencing, Peter very much wanted to snark out a 'Just peachy, you?', but he held his tongue and flipped back to his feet, swaying for a moment before his healing kicked in and he felt some relief from the all-consuming pain.

"I'll live, I don't suppose the Hulk plans to cut in for a dance?"

"Bruce couldn't get himself up for the occasion, Spiderman. He is still too tired from his last transformation." Tony Stark's voice said as he floated down to the ground, his armor shining and his faceplate flipped up.

Peter nodded but he still couldn't catch his tongue, "I hear that's an issue later in life." He looked around before asking, "Where are the rest of the Avengers?"

"Funny, kid. Not all of us have that issue though. Natasha is off seducing some poor guy before she kills him, Clint got a holiday from Fury so both of them are unavailable. Thor is off godding or something at the moment, so it's just us."

"So what are his weaknesses?" The Captain asked, wasting not a single moment as his eyes turned towards the hole in the building from where Spiderman came out.

"None that I saw. He is fast, durable, and monstrou-SCATTER!" He shouted as the ground trembled and they watched the building in front of them crumble and fall before Juggernaut emerged from the wreckage, not a single sign of exertion or damage from the destruction on him.

Tony immediately flew up, while the Captain and he jumped away from the Juggernaut, his steps shaking the earth and breaking the glasses of the buildings around them. Iron Man shot missiles at the back of his armor, but the giant didn't even notice them as he kept on running, increasing his speed with each passing meter.

"I can't stop him," Tony admitted. "Those missiles were enough to make the Hulk stumble, and he just...fucking brushed them off!"

"Fury, how was the Juggernaut captured the last time he went on a rampage?" Captain asked before he frowned a few moments later.

"Short of dropping a bomb on this guy, I can't think of anything which will affect him. If I had the time to whip something up, then he would have been toast, but with what I have with me…", Tony trailed off in the end.

"We are sitting ducks," Peter finished, shifting his shoulder to alleviate the pain there. "Still even if we slow him down, it will give whoever stopped him before a chance to do so again."

"Let's go," Captain nodded towards his companions before he grabbed a fallen motorcycle and mounted it. "Move as fast as you can, despite the evacuation of this half of the city, he can still cause untold damage."

With that they were off, the roar of the motorcycle's engine and the hum of Tony's armor filling his ears as they followed the path of destruction Juggernaut left behind as a trail to follow. His footsteps had cracked the road with growing dread, Tony realized why Juggernaut had the title 'Unstoppable' in front of his code name. Cars, buildings, trucks...nothing seemed to keep standing after the Juggernaut went through them, leaving overturned vehicles and destroyed infrastructure in his wake, going through all of them in a straight line.

"JARVIS, see if you can try and pinpoint where out where our destructive friend would likely be headed to."

"A moment sir," his personal AI responded. "Cain Marko seems to be heading towards the mansion of Charles Xavier, his step-brother."

The ringing of his phone pulled him out of his meditation and Charles frowned at it. Other than Logan, Hank, and Ororo, no one had access to this number, and even they wouldn't call him on it unless there was an Emergency, with a capital 'E'. As soon as he tapped the 'accept', his ears were blasted by words he could have gone his whole life without hearing.

"Your brother is coming for a meeting, prepare yourselves."

For a moment, he could do nothing as memories of a time long past swam through his mind. Cain and him getting deployed in Korea, his stepbrother getting trapped inside a temple and then reemerging as the Unstoppable Juggernaut. His mind kicked into action a second later and his mind enveloped all of the mansion and its grounds before he shouted telepathically,

'All students are to evacuate to the underground bunker. Please be orderly but move quickly.. Ororo, Logan and the rest of the team come to the courtyard out front.'

Either it was the fact that never before had Charles simply stormed into their minds, or that they detected the urgency and the fear in his tone, but within seconds itself, every X-Man was present at the main door of the mansion. Ororo, Logan, Scott, Hank, Kurt, Jean, Kitty, and Rogue, all were standing in front of him with worried and confused faces. Taking a deep breath, Charles turned towards them and tapped a button on his wheelchair, projecting a form above him.

"This," he pointed above at the picture. "-is Cain Marko aka the Juggernaut. He is physically in the leagues of the likes of the Hulk and the Abomination and currently, he is coming toward us. He is my step brother…and his goal is to kill me"

As he looked upon the children in front of him, he hated himself more than ever for putting them in this position. But the sad fact was, Charles couldn't do shit against his step brother until that pesky helmet of his came off. As it was, Jean, Kurt, Scott, and Rogue were his best chances against the monster that was coming for him. Logan was a good fighter and a very dangerous enemy to have, but between him and Juggernaut, it would be a fight of attrition at the best and the Wolverine's possible death at the worst.

"I will not ask you to fight him if you don't want to," he said as his gaze lowered to the ground. "But I alone cannot go against him and neither can Logan or Ororo, and he is wretched enough to go after those children hiding below us, so if not for me, I beg of you, fight for them."

Kitty and Jean came forwards immediately and kneeled in front of him before they just grabbed each of his hands and squeezed it with a whispered 'Professor', while the other just nodded at him with determined expressions, almost making his eyes water.

"Wait, where is Harry?" Ororo asked suddenly, her eyes scanning the sky as if expecting him to drop in front of her. "We could really use his help right now."

"He just disappeared after today's dang-WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?" Scott shouted as the ground shook a little, and it continued shaking more and more with each passing moment until it was a struggle for them to stay upright. Jean and Ororo floated upwards in the air before both of them gasped at the same time.

Charles once again cursed the helmet his brother now wore since, despite his mind encompassing hundreds of miles in each direction, he could not detect him at all. It was only through line of sight that he would be able to find his brother's mind on the astral plane and even then it would require the removal of his helmet completely to reach it. But considering that he could feel the terror of the scant few animals in the forest, he didn't really need to pinpoint Cain's location.

Turning around his chair, with none of his thoughts and self-loathing present on his face, Charles looked out calmly into the forest, the whole coming to stand right beside him. Dimly he was aware of the slight heat emanating from Jean, a new quirk of her telekinetic ability and the smell of ozone permeating the air as Ororo got herself ready for the deadly battle ahead.

"Don't give him a chance to hit you even once," Charles said as the shaking got even more intense, the sound of thump-thump coming from the forest. "Kurt, you are on teleporting duty, you go in and get out with anyone in danger and don't focus on beating him. Your only objective is to remove his helmet, once that is done, I will handle the rest."

"Yes Professor," everyone said in unison before the treeline ahead of them parted apart and their opponent came into view, his entrance heralded by a boom of laughter as he caught sight of them.

"Charles! How nice of you to come out and greet me! I hope my visit is a good surprise brother."

"Cain," the Professor responded, his eyes flinty and hard. "You are not welcome here, return to wherever you came from." It was a futile attempt, Charles knew that, but he would try anything when the alternative was that his friends and children would have to fight and probably die against the monster who had come to his doorstep for him.

"Don't be a wuss now Charles, you weren't one when you were a little Mr. Perfect and invaded my brain," came the cutting reply, accompanied by a tree groaning as it was uprooted effortlessly. "So you just sit there and wAATTCHH!" With a shout the thirty feet tall tree was hurled at them, only to be stopped and crushed by a single gesture of Jean's hand, the splinters and dust sent towards the Juggernaut immediately in retaliation.

That also seemed to be the cue for the rest of the team as Scott launched his optic beams towards Juggernaut's head, aiming to melt the clasps of his helmet while Rogue and Wolverine ran towards the giant mutant.

The Juggernaut slapped his hands together, creating a shockwave so powerful everyone was blown back by a few meters, with only Jean and Ororo able to remain in position thanks to their powers. The wind howled through the area as the skies immediately darkened and flashed with thunder before a snarling Wolverine, who was the first to recover, leaped into the air and brought his claws down on Juggernaut's armor, only to be heavily surprised when his claws didn't even scratch that thing.

The next moment he felt his body fold around a large fist and his vision blacked for a second before he shot backwards like a rocket, a fountain of blood erupting from his mouth and back both as his metal-coated spine was sent of out his skin from the force of Juggernaut's punch.

Kitty and Rogue both froze up at the sight of Wolverine's twitching body as his healing factor went to work before Charles telepathically pushed down their revulsion and mind-numbing fear, making them ignore the blood and gore with all the ease of a seasoned butcher as their attention shifted back to the fight.

Thunder roared in their ears and the air screamed as Jean and Ororo threw around telekinetic blasts and lightning like it was beads at a Mardi-Gras celebration, but the Juggernaut weathered the storm like the unstoppable force he was and took a single step forwards each moment.

With a beastly snarl, Logan leaped back into the fray, this time succeeding in cutting up gashes on Cain's arms before he slinked beneath a swipe and raked his claws across Juggernaut's neck. In the same moment, Jean pulled out his legs from beneath him, making him fall on his back and tearing apart his torn spine even more to keep him from getting up.

"Rogue!" Charles shouted, the girl nodding in response and racing forwards at the downed behemoth while Logan kept on hacking away at every bit of skin he could reach, severing the muscles at his elbows and shoulders.

With a gulp, she raised her hand and laid it against the Juggernaut's bulky arm and felt his energy flow into her instantly. Despite blacking out every time she used her mutant ability, this time she was able to keep it up until Kurt bamfed her away from a sudden kick that came from the already healed Juggernaut.

"You good?" He asked as she bent down for a moment due to sudden changes in her body.

"Never been better," she rasped out, her pupils blown wide and her eyes going bloodshot. She raised her head and looked Kurt in the eyes, a sharp smirk tugging at her lips. "Now let me kick some butt!"

With that she ran forwards, feeling the difference in her body as clear as night and day. Letting out a loud roar, she bent down a little and pushed against the ground, shattering it behind her as she shot into a completely surprised Juggernaut's stomach, sending the giant man crashing back into the forest.

Rubbing her stiff shoulder, Rogue marveled at the unbelievable strength and speed she now possessed, but she was taken off guard when her foe picked up a tree like it was a toothpick, and threw it at her, She raised her arms in front of her out of pure reflex and with wide eyes, watched as the three-foot thick truck broke against her forearms, her hands unharmed except for a little throbbing in her wrists.

Her mind was brought back to the combat when a humongous bolt of thunder dropped from the skies, its intensity so great she was blown backward by the shockwave that followed, her eyes seeing nothing but whiteness for the ensuing minute.

"LOGAN!" She heard the professor shout before the sound of the trees breaking apart reached her and she felt herself fly through the air before being gently set down. Her vision finally returned to her and what she saw… it was the stuff of nightmares. Juggernaut was on his feet, not a single spot on him or his armor showing the signs of being struck by Ororo's attack. Logan was nowhere to be seen but the trail of destroyed trees going deep into the woods told her all she needed to know.

Scott fired his optic beams at the Juggernaut's head, but they only succeeded in heating the metal slightly before he ran towards them, Jean's telekinetic blasts and the attacks from Ororo and Scott washing off him harmlessly. With a war cry of her own, Rogue raised her fist and jumped, clearing the dozens of feet between them in a single second, and swung with all the force she could muster.

A devastating right hook crashed into his unarmored shoulder and Rogue felt her knuckles crack as the Juggernaut was sent stumbling, a single grunt coming out of his mouth. Not letting the pain affect her, Rogue followed it up with a backflip, kicking the man right in his chin and then to finish the move, she jumped and punched him on his mouth, making him fall on his back.

Taking it for the opportunity it was, Rogue ran forwards towards his head and grabbed the latch on the left before she pulled with all other might. With a small click, it clicked open. Before she could go for the one on the right, his eyes snapped towards her and with a roar of anger, he punched at her. Fully expecting herself to get thrown halfway through the country, she was surprised when something struck her shoulder and pulled her away from the strike, saving her just by the skin of her teeth.

A second later she was looking up at a bloodied and serious Spiderman, his powerful arms holding her bridal style as he looked down at her before dropping her on her ass with a quick apology for the rough treatment and ran forwards to join Captain America, Logan, Iron Man and Jean in attempting to keep the Juggernaut at bay.

Standing up, she rubbed her posterior more due to the irritation than anything else before she caught sight of Kitty, the girl standing at the sidelines by the Professor.

"Hey Shadowcat," she said as she ran up to them. "I have an idea."

"Mr. Potter," a familiar voice spoke, making him jump a little at the sudden noise. "Your presence is desperately needed in New York."

"Ancient one," he said as he turned around, his brow quirked up. "What do you mean by that?"

A portal formed in front of him with just a flick of her fingers and he was about to turn to her for an explanation when his blood froze in his veins when he heard Kitty and Rogue scream. Jumping forwards into the ring of fire, he saw both girls flying through the air right towards the mansion's walls with fatal speeds.

With a clench of his fingers, he slowed them down and lowered them on the grass, the girls slumping over immediately, unconscious. Turning around, he was greeted by Charles sitting in his wheelchair with Kurt and Ororo by his side, all three of them looking out towards the fight taking place just a few meters away. A large red armored being was being attacked by Logan, Stark, Captain America and Spiderman with Jean wielding her telekinesis adeptly and slowing the giant enough for the four men to hit him.

"What the…" he mumbled and walked towards where Charles was sitting with Scott, Ororo, and Kurt by his side, the woman looking dead on her feet from how her knees were shaking slightly. "Somebody is going to tell me whatever this is because I don't remember any plans were made to fight a being of such size at the breakfast table this morning."

"Harry!" "Mr. Potter!" All four of them said, relief and hope clear as crystal in their eyes.

He felt Charles' mind touch his own, the man looking up at him expectantly. Nodding at him, he lowered his barriers slightly and felt a boatload of information get dumped into his brain. Closing off his mind, his armor formed over his clothes and he felt the hilts of his sword appeared beneath his palms, his magic surging forwards in the anticipation of the fight he was walking towards while on the inside, his mind went through all the information Charles had given him at a frightening pace, and his lips pushed together into a thin line at the fact that the Juggernaut had shrugged of everything the team could throw at him.

With minute arcs of electricity forming over his body and making grooves in the ground around him, he took a small run up and jumped high into the air, the four heroes beneath him disengaging and backtracking as soon as he reached the apex of his ascent. Spinning for a moment, he twisted as he dived, descending like a corkscrewing cannonball towards a surprised Juggernaut. At the last moment, he raised his swords, and a brutal, devastating downward strike followed.

He saw a golden spark escape the point of contact between the two metals, and the world lit up in a white torrent of light and heat.

Flying away from the hand reaching out to grab him, Iron Man shot a laser right in the Juggernaut's eyes, making them burst into fluid and blood, allowing Spiderman to leap up to grab his helmet thingy to rip it off as per the Professor's instructions, but even blind, the Juggernaut was dangerous.

He spun around in a circle with his hand outstretched, smacking away the Captain and Spidey both, Logan ducking underneath the swipe and ramming his claws upwards into the elbow of his left arm, drawing a strangled scream from the Juggernaut before a swift kick saw that would have been like a hammer to an egg to anyone else's head, but Logans' adamantium skull protected him from that fate. His eyes and skin suffered from the blow, however, both their healing factors kicked in, slowing neither of them.

In all that he had done today since getting freed, the Juggernaut had never once been invested in the fight as any of the people that had come against him were.. To him, they were just bugs who were throwing their hands and energy blasts at him and he weathered it all like the indomitable mountain he was.

Tony's thoughts were cut off when the two girls—not the hot redhead, who still gave him chills with her drifting hair and her awesome powers—ran forwards and jumped towards the Juggernaut. Both of them turned slightly translucent, possibly going intangible to avoid the punch that was coming towards them but somehow, Cain's fist still found the taller girl's body, and they were sent shooting off with a scream coming out of their lips. The Captain threw his shield like a frisbee towards his face in retaliation, and the Juggernaut uppercutted it and sent it skyward, however, their attention was captured by the shard of blue-colored metal spinning in the air as it fell on the earth.

The Juggernaut broke something which wasn't meant to be broken.

He broke the Captain's shield.

He broke Vibranium.

The spell was broken when the shield slammed down right in front of the Captain—and wasn't that just weird? Gravity and conventional physics didn't make trajectories of projectiles based on taunts and fate, right?—a giant crack running over the star at the center, starting from the broken-off area.

The Juggernaut opened his mouth, his eyes glinting with familiar cruelty and mocking glee, and said, "Babies the lot of you. Where is the Hulk? I heard a lot about how someone else stole my title as the strongest thing on Earth. Never mind, he can come when I present your hearts to him over national television."

With that the action resumed once more, each of them doing their best to be a distortion while someone else tried to remove the latch from the helmet. However, it was proving to be futile with every failed attempt, the metal being too hot to melt by Iron Man's' repulsor beams or Cyclops' eye blasts and its density too great to be pulled by any of them, despite Spiderman trying with all of his might.

And thus they tried to keep the fight going on for as long as possible until the white-haired chick got up and removed the helmet, but half a minute later, his suit gave him the 15 percent power warning, making him swear at the stupid battery and the stupid power source.

Groaning audibly Tony shot forwards with all the speed he could muster, each of his weapons coming online in the last ditch attempt to buy enough time for some miracle-level event to happen. Then his suit detected a new presence suddenly appearing in the front veranda of Xavier's mansion and he stopped for a second. He had been prepared for a teleporting mutant like the blue-furred one, or even some new SHIELD tech—hell! He had half expected Thor to come down from Asgard and act as the 'Protector of Midgard'!—but nothing could have prepared him for what happened next.

'Move away from him, quickly!' was all Charles said—thought?—but they were quick to retreat at the man's suggestion. Then he saw Ravager, the universe-hopping, transforming psychopath run by his floating suit with his form cloaked in lightning and his black swords in his hands.

The man jumped impossibly high into the air and spun as he came down before striking the Juggernaut, and a resounding boom followed. His suit's optics and filters easily allowed him to ignore the accompanying flash as he watched gobsmacked. The metal which had held against each of his repulsor frequencies and intensities, which had held against the adamantium claws of the hairy man, which was not even heating up slightly from the laser eyes' efforts, had parted underneath the swords—with difficulty admittedly, and for just about two inches—however he felt the second this became serious for the Juggernaut at the realization that if nothing else, this man was dangerous.

He had the ability to overpower the invulnerability that he had become accustomed to. He could kill him.

His perpetual grin disappeared and his hand clenched into a proper fist for the first time, the sound of his knuckles cracking and popping echoing through his ears.

He watched with a stilled heart and a bated breath as both the Juggernaut and Ravager moved.

And the world shook in response to the two titans clashing.
