"Alrighty, I am ready Hinata." Mika said, walking across the lobby of the hospital to see a very happy, but nervous Hinata. The girl was wearing the same cream colored hoodie as she always did, as well as her typical ninja pants. Looking at her, Mika realized how utterly beautiful the girl was, she would be a real knockout as an adult. However what was starker to him was the raw fear in her eyes, even in that moment with nothing instigating her fear, she looked terrified. Her body trembling ever so slightly, and her eyes tinged with fear. 'What happened to her?' She nodded at him and together they left the hospital. "Can you increase your speed and climb walls?"

"Yes, all Hyuugas learn that early on."

"Good, follow me, my training grounds are not too far from here." And like that, he shot off, hopping from roof to roof, with Hinata following behind him at a fast pace. It took about five minutes to reach his personal training grounds. "Alrighty, I usually do my taijutsu training over the water, to build my reserves."

Hinata's eyes widened. " That's a really good idea, I never thought of it."

"Most haven't. Wanna spar on or off the water?"

"Off for now, I did not bring spar clothes of they get wet."

"Fair enough."

Mika fel into a loose stance, and waved at her. "Come at me then!"

She shivered, her eyes closed for a moment before she fell into her own stance and moved. Her open palm reached him at a shocking pace, and he was able to knock it aside with one hand and jab at her, she blocked with her other hand. A simple swift sweep kick knocked her off her feet, but she managed to flip onto her hands and back onto her feet only to be socked in the chest and sent flying back. Coughing, she held her chest and shivered, tears and fear in her eyes. It was then that he realized it, she was afraid of conflict.

"Hinata... do you... do you not like to fight?"

She shook, her eyes wide. "I .. ugh...I want to be a shinobi but..." She teared up. "I hate hurting people."

"Hinata, there are ways, other ways, to be a ninja while being a noncombatant. A medic is a great option for someone like you. You're on Kiba's team, right?" She nodded. "His sister, I remember him mentioning that she was a vet, that would be a fantastic option for you. It would be great for your taijutsu, as you would learn evasion from whomever you are learning from."

"My father would never allow that."

"Screw him Hinata." She gaped at him. "You are legally an adult, do what you want and tell him to go fuck himself. He legally has no sway on your life. Hell, I'll go with you if you want."

She sniffled. "Really, but we aren't friends."

"We are now." That made her start to shake, her body wracking with pained sobs. He patted her back for a while then wiped her tears away. "Hinata, if you are going to be a medic, you need to have combat skills. Evasion is part of that, but so is defending your patients. Your taijutsu needs to get better, more fluid and solid so you can ensure the safety of your patients. Change the purpose of combat, from harming others to saving them and I think it will help."

Hinata stood taller at that, the words having a clear impact on her soul, and smiled. "I... I ... I wanna to try again." They both got into their own stances, and started again, only for Hinata to utterly demolish Mika in seconds. She was faster, stronger and moved with a grace he envied. Ducking under his kick, she peppered his leg with strikes before, poking his belly with a hard strike that sent him to the ground. All in less than five seconds.

"WOW!" He said, stunned.

She kneeled down, massaging his leg softly. "This will help you to recover. I am sorry if it hurt."

"Hinata, your style is designed for capture and death, this is nothing. You are just... I think you are the best taijutsu user in our class, by miles. It's not shocking, you've been well trained since you were little but still impressive."

She flushed. "Um... thank you... you said you were taught evasion, why didn't you evade?"

Mika smiled. "My style is too defensive, without my tanto. I need to work on my offensive skills. I can show you my evasion, teach you how I learn it and we can mix our styles to make something better for you. A medical Hyuuga style. Sound good?"

"Okay... and thank you, that... really, really helps."

"Not a problem. Hey, I need a sparring partner. I am in the village most of the time, if you want you can come and we can spar for a few hours every Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday. It would be a huge boon for me, and I need more friends, I am happy to be yours."

She nodded, excitement in her eyes. "That would be fun... I can freely train with you... Tuesday and Saturday, after around four if that is okay. I have nothing planned and to be honest, I need help being a ninja. You, you are so good... I think you can help me."

"Wanna go to the Vets in a bit, see if you can get signed up?"

She shivered, then nodded with a meek but proud look. "I... Yes."

"Then we can do just that, but first evasion. Attack me without chakra, and I will show you my evasion training basics. It is all about controlling the path of conflict, adapting to it as best you can."

And so they started, and Mika knew that finally, he would grow in taijutsu. His weakest area. He needed it, he needed the experience, the practice and the connections that being friends and training with a Hyuuga would bring. His taijutsu would grow, he would gain connections and he would make a powerful friend, all great things!

"A wise move," Kabuto muttered, looking at Mika and Hyuuga girl as they trained. "The boy will gain a tremendous bounty training with her. She is powerful in her own right, a great way to learn taijutsu, and she is a wonderful ally. If he gets her to owe him that is even better. I admit I am proud of you, my little friend..." Walking out into the open from his hiding place, he saw Mika and the Hyuuga girl freeze in shock. "Sorry, I had something to ask Mika..." Turning, he smiled at his apprentice and coworker. "My team is in need of a new person... you see the chunin exams is coming up in two weeks. We are considering trying our luck again, it's our seventh try. Misumi wants to wait and work on his secret technique, so he is out right now. What do you say about trying to join us?"

Mika blinked at him, before a lovely smiled crossed his face. "I would be honored, thank you for considering me."

"Awesome. We are going to be busy until next week, then Thursday we can work on establishing our skills and so on that way we can work together more perfectly."

"Sounds awesome, pity we would not have more time to practice but you don't always get that during a mission."

"Yeah... I'll go tell my sensei, and arrange things for you. See you at work."

"See you then!" He saw the boy turning back to the Hyuuga girl, excitement in his blue eyes.

'He has no idea, not a single clue that this is just so I can asses him, see his skills and determine if he is a perfect candidate to work for Lord Orochimaru... his intelligence, determination and being able to fight Kakashi at any rate at his age and experience level is just... he would make a great ally, if nothing else.' With that he hurried off, hurrying away to speak to his so-called sensei and establish all he needed to get Mika on his team.
