My best action chapter period, one of my best stories period, the best chapter of his story period! I am thinking I am getting these action scenes.

Laying on the ground, panting Mika and Hinata leaned into each other ever so slightly. "That was a good match, I think I am catching up." Mika said, mockingly.

She just laughed. "In your dreams." Shocking herself with her words. In the week since she knew the boy, it was impossible to not absorb his raw confidence. He was more confident than Naruto, only with a reasonable edge that she just never noticed before her obsession with the Orange clothed Uzumaki."What were we talking about?"

"You were telling me why you started out so sad today, distracting me with a spar."

Cringing, she sighed. "Neji, my cousin on my Father's... and technically mother's side. He was... mean today. He is always mean, now adays, ever since the Incident."

"When someone kidnapped a Hyuuga child? I remember that, my father told me about it."

"I was the Hyuuga child." Mika snapped up, looking at her warmly but with worry and wrath. "I was fine, Father saved me but it was me. They, Cloud, demanded a Hyuuga and the Third allowed it as a way to prevent war. My Uncle was offered up and Neji... he turned resentful. He's hated me ever since. He is a prodigy, as good as you think I am, he is a million times better. Stronger, smarter, with a more developed Byakugan. Father often tells me he wishes I was born into a branch family, that Neji should have been the Head of the Clan." Mika grabbed her hand, pulling her up and into his arms. She shivered and continued. "Neji was mocking me for being a veterinarian, calling me a disgrace and all that."

"Tell him to suck your dick." Hinata snorted, choking on her laughter. "I am not kidding, he sounds like a tool. Tragedy and trauma is no excuse to hate you. You too were abused by the Hyuuga hierarchy, he should recognize that. So tell him off. You are making your own path, to make yourself better. He says anything else, let me handle it."

She wanted to scream no, that it was a family affair... but Mika was her family. Granted it had only been a week, but he treated her with more decency than her entire clan compound. Without bribery or anything, just pure kindness. It was impossible to not love him. More so, she knew full well that Mika could best Neji. Maybe not in taijutsu, neji was a genius in taijutsu, but as she had learned watching Mika fight Taijutsu was not the end all be all. There was more to combat than that. Mika had the Hidden Mist, he had Kenjutsu, Medical techniques, the Shushin, and so many other things.

He was a better ninja over all to Neji... and honestly, her as well, but that was changing.

"Okay, I will." She shook at his look. "I will tell Neji to suck my... my... my dick." Her entire face went red before Mika kissed her on the cheek.

"How do we better your eyes? I am willing to turn our spars into a better avenue for you. Right now it's just pure sparring with taijutsu, but you ought to get more out of it too. The Hidden Mist jutsu ought to be a training ground for you, if I increase my chakra output even your eyes would be affected, right? Or maybe I can use the shushin to work on your reflexes? Actually, you ought to learn how to do the shushin, with your epic control you should master it fast."

Tears fell down her face. "I would love that."

The boy wiped her tears away. "Let's show that prick what's what. I have some tricks that can help, if you ever have to fight him outside the Hyuuga compound. Like at the Chunin exams, if you participate or just feel like beating his ass."

That memory inspired Hinata as she walked down to the sparring arena. She regulated her breathing with tricks Mika taught her, medical tricks. 'Anxiety is a real problem for ninja, you are so used to avoiding sharp objects and dealing with trauma they need to calm down. All medics are taught how to regulate this so we can safely work with them.'

Hinata knew this match would likely end in her death, much as she would like to deny that Neji would kill her. She could taste his killer intent, even from there. It was faint, rippling through the air. As she settled in front of him, he said. "I never thought I would end up fighting you, Hinata."

"Nor I you, brother."

""

"THEY'RE SIBLINGS!" Naruto barked.

Mika sighed as Kakashi said. " They are both descended from the Hyuuga's, one of the most ancient and noble of clans, not actually siblings."

"Wrong." They turned to him. Including Sakura. "He is her brother, biologically. Their fathers are identical siblings, so genetically they are no different than full siblings."He saw their shock. " Hinata and I have become exceptionally close,... and Kakashi, call the Hyuugas noble again and you will find your sharingan shoved up your ass. They're nothing more than barbaric, monstrous tools. The main branch anyway, bar Hinata and her sister Hanabi."

Naruto, who hated Mika, frowned. "You calling someone monstrous, sounds kind of hypocritical."

"I am simply a ninja, Naruto. I do not condone slavery, which is what the Hyuugas do." He saw their shock. A boy, with green clothes and black hair, turned to him.

"I know of what you speak, I asked my sensei about it when I saw the mark. I am on Neji's team. My name is Rock Lee." The boy said.

"That must be hard." Sakura said, oblivious. "To have to fight your own family."

Mika laughed. "Neji hates Hinata, he will aim for the kill and when he does he loses his head."

He saw the shock on everyone's face, and Kakashi just sighed. "Interfering will render your battle moot."

"I never said here, that there is always the final exam."

"Good point. Would you really kill him?"

"Without question. Hinata is my closest friend, my only friend really... we have a lot in common, similar pasts, and honestly, she is a lot better than anyone has ever realized. She is likely,... third best here? I heard about Neji, and from her, I heard about you Lee. I am aware of your talents, though only that they exist. That is all. She is exceedingly skilled and has only gotten better since sparring with me for the last two weeks. She has some... interesting tricks up her sleeve. I know I taught her some... interesting things, just in case of Neji."

Lee frowned. "Neji is a genius, I have never beaten him."

Mika turned his attention fully to Hinata. "Hinata!" He called out. "Remember what we talked about? I expect results."

To everyone's shock, the meek little girl laughed, and the sound was not shaky but bold and very, very cold.

Neji snarled. "What are you laughing at, it is your fate to lose, as you well know."

The girl looked straight into Neji's face. "Neji, with all due respect, suck my dick." Everyone laughed, except those that were too stunned to move.

Mika was almost rolling, his heart just a bit lighter than before.

"Gods, I love that girl."

Hinata then, to even greater shock, made the first move. Running through her handsigns, she breathed out. "HIDDEN MIST JUTSU!" And filled the arena with a thick mist, far thicker than anything Mika could produce.

"That's like what Zabuza did." Naruto said.

Mika shrugged, feeling Kakashi's eyes on him. "I taught her that, she needed an edge if she ever fought him. That is not all she can do. This match will go in a very, very different way than you expect no matter how much of a genius you think Neji is, Lee."

"""

Hinata did not need her old hand signs to tap into her eyes, confidence was enough to tap into it as was her new medical chakra control. She knew Neji would be able to see through the Mist, their eyes were just made for that, so she threw a smoke bomb as well. Then, to her pleasure, she realized she could not see. Mika had tested that theory out when they practiced two days before the exams, irritated with his inability to use the Silent killing on her. Her eyes had gotten stronger and stronger for the week they had been training but this was far too much for them. The combination of chakra infused mist, the mist itself and the smoke was so much that they could not see through it. The best part? Neji was too arrogant and Hyuuga to carry proper Ninja tools like Mika forced her to do.

'You never rely on one skill, it's the only reason I could and can excel. A jack of all trades is always better than a master of one like you Hyuua's.'

Then, with a grace that Mika admitted was miles beyond his due to her sheer training, Hinata moved through the veil, pulling out senbon from her pouch. Reaching out as Mika taught her, she pulled chakra into her ears and felt for Neji. It wasn't perfect, but she knew where he was, making scuffs with his feet as he tried to find her.

"You think his will help you, Hinata? This only proves that you are not worthy of being a Hyuuga relying on lesser techniq-AH-" He screamed out, as her senbon pierced his body. "You are going to regret thi-AH" Again, she heard it smack into him. Channeling chakra into her feet, she moved to the otherside of the arena and peppered him once more with five senbon. She heard it thud into his body, and smelled the blood. "Eight Palms Rotations!" To her horror and shock, Neji dispelled the Mist and Smoke with a technique forbidden to the Branch Family. Heaving and wounded, Neji pulled out the senbon, three in his shoulders, two in his hips and one in his left thigh. "You will regret that." He charged her, only she noticed he was limping ever so slightly, and that was everything.

Medical and Mika training kicked in, she dodged his strikes, weaving in and around his attacks, making a mockery of his movements. It was not easy, not in the slightest, but she was managing. Mika was more ruthless in his strikes, Hana was far faster as were her triplet Hounds. She could do this.

After two minutes of solid dodging, she saw an opening and she lashed out with her foot and not her palm, something Neji would never expect... and he did not block. He screamed when her chakra ladden foot slammed into his injured thigh. Twisting out of his range, she gathered chakra into her fist like she had watched Mika do a million times with her byakugan, and slammed it into Neji's chin the moment he got close, sending him flying back onto his back.

"What was that Neji?" She mocked. "Who is the failure? Fate is nothing but a cop-out for those too weak to change it. I change it... Fate... Fate is my Bitch!" Then, kneeling slightly, she shushined behind Neji as he flipped back onto his feet, and socked him six times in the back and ones to the neck. Neji fell forward, fainting dead away.

There wasn't a single non shocked expression in the room, except for a very, very smug Mika.

"Winner by knockout... Hinata."

The room exploded into applause and Hinata did not celebrate. Moving over to Neji, she waved Mika down. He hopped down. "You want me to heal him?"

"Yes." And so the room watched as Mika healed Neji's puncture wounds. They were just small enough to be healed by Mika's weak Mystic Palm.

As Neji awoke, with dead eyes, he said. "I failed, you... you beat me. How?"

She sighed. "Fate is only for the weak, Neji... Mika taught me that. I remade myself, into more. I was never a failure, only the clan made me feel that way. Yes, I am not a goddess of the Gentle Fist, but with more of a general ninja combat style... and my true capability was revealed. Now, can we finally put your petty hate of me aside?"

The boy, her older cousin, sighed. "Yes... Lady Hinata."

"I'd prefer sister."

He paused... and smiled. " Yes, sister... only if you help me grow past the limits I have placed upon myself."

"I will do just that, now let's go... "

Hinata was bombarded by a very excited Kurenai the moment she got up the stairs. "How, when... how?"

"Mika taught me when started sparring. Most of that is from just sparring but a few things I learned over our last week together. I never felt confident enough to use it before, but this fight made me realize if I am to be my best, I cannot let myself hold myself back. I need to be my best as I declare it, not as my clan dicates."

"I am so proud, Hinata."

"I am proud of myself..."
