This bored me, but it had to be done. It sets things up wonderfully for the next arc so it works.

Lee vs Gaara

"Gods, he is amazing," Mika uttered, his tone raw as he watched Lee's tremendous Taijutsu skill and his immense speed and strength. "To think, he is opening that many of the inner gates!"

Hinata nodded dumbly. "We learn about those in our clan, it takes a real genius to master them..."

Neji, who was standing near them, nodded. "I never knew... Lee really is something else."

Mika continued to watch with bated breath, at least until Gaara crushed Lee's arms and Gai slapped the sand aside, going on about protecting his precious student. Medical training kicked in, Mika rushed to a Lee trying to rise with Hinata at his side. "Bind his limbs." She did as she was told, poking his throat so he could not rise anymore and collapsed. Mika ran his glowing hands over Lee's body. "He has bone fragments freely floating, we have to be delicate in his movements until he can be aided."

In the end, Mika followed the Medics out into the hall, only leaving when they assured they had the boy.

Gai stopped him. "Thank you for healing Lee..."

Mika bowed. "Not a problem, it was my duty as a medic."

"If you ever need my aid, just... don't be afraid to ask."

"I will keep that in mind... actually I will be taking advantage of that entirely, but for now, go take care of your student."

As Gai moved on, Mika entered the room as the Winners were called to the front. There was a box filled with a bunch of papers with Numbers on them in order to assign them battles to start with.

Oddly Kabuto was not on the list or in the room, He asked Hinata about this. "He forfeited when you left, saying you most of us were too strong to fight."

Mika nodded, not at all buying that. It just felt... off. "I was hoping to fight my teacher, pity... oh well. So, who are you going to be training with?"

She smirked. "That is none of your business, but I might tell you when I kick your butt!"

"Bring it on girly."

It was then that the matches were announced.

Naruto vs Mika with the Winner fighting Gaara

Sasuke vs Hinata

Temari vs Shikamru

Dosu vs Shino

Mika paled. "Great, Naruto is easy but Gaara,... I am so fucked... even Lee, with his Gates, could not best Lee. I need more speed to get passed that Sand. There is only one person who can help with that. " And so they left, with Mika heading straight for the hospital and to Gai, He would end up finding the man in hallway where Lee was getting surgery, just as he suspected. "Gai, you said you would help me if I needed it... and I do. Badly...I am going to fight Gaara."

Gai went pale. "Then you really do need my help... meet met at training ground fourteen at five am. I will teach you the fight the Strong Fist way, and work on your conditioning so you do not have to rely on just your stealth to win fights."

"That is exactly what I wanted to hear. Between you and Raido, I will be able to overcome just about anyone... I hope. Hinata knows my style, she needs to be dealt with. Gaara is the major problem though. I hope whatever we do, it's enough."

"You, you won? Against Neji?"

Hinata ignored her father and grandfather as they gaped at her. " Contrary to your beliefs, I was never a failure, my skills were just in other areas. I found myself elsewhere and used those skills to overcome Neji. All Hyuuga's fight the same, so really it wasn't too hard to figure out a solid strategy."

Hiashi just nodded. "Do you need help with your training for the Chunin exams?"

"Not from you." He recoiled, shocked. "Father, you told Kurenai you do not care if I live or die. I am not ready to be in the same room as you, let alone train with you. Neji has already agreed to have himself and his teammate Tenten help me. I have ideas for some new moves, and techniques that I will be the sole master of. You will have no part in that. You made your bed, lie in it."

She walked away, the victory over Neji having finally shattered the barrier that hide away her self-confidence and love and the hate she felt towards her clan and father. It was about time they were put in their place, and damn it she was the one to do it. Someone had to.

Neji was waiting for her by the hall. "Where too?"

"We will be training out of the compound, I have a lot of ideas now that I know how to be a ninja instead of just a Hyuuga. You are going to help my taijutsu skills, Tenten my evasion and throwing skills. Both will help with my Silent Killing. Together we will really create something big. I know I can best Mika, or at least I am sure I can, I know how he fights and thinks. Temari will be hard, but I think with some work I can do it. Sasuke won't be too hard, my taijutsu is better and I have miles better control and evasion skills. Gaara is the biggest challenge. I need to figure out a way around him, I just... am not sure now."

Neji nodded. "In any case, it will not be an easy set of matches."

"No it will not... but I will show what I can do, and stick it to our stubborn clan." That made Neji smile. "Between this and my training with Hana, which is very brutal, I should be good enough to overcome most of them... I hope."
