'Hehe, good job Mika.' Kabuto chuckled after he watched Mika's fight with Naruto. 'I can see you will be a major benefit to anyone you serve.' Pleased with what he had just seen, he could not help but smile. 'Your taijutsu has really advanced and with it your ruthlessness as well. Ideal for serving Lord Orochimaru. I cannot wait to see what you come up with next, what you manage to do with your other skills.'

His mind turned to just a few weeks ago when he first watched Mika start to perfect his chakra siphoning technique. It had been marvelous to watch.

"... and I am still unsure if I need hand signs." Mika said, speaking to Gai. Kabuto, watching from the shadows, listened in carefully. "It's been a week of trying and I have had no success other than just linking our chakra. Anything I can do to make this easier would be so welcome."

Gai chuckled. "My youthful friend, you are making fine progress, techniques like chakra siphoning and transferring are high level if you are not born with them. There is a reason they are not used so openly. I know you were likely not supposed to have read that scroll on chakra transferring, I am aware of the limits of medical jutsu."

The boy grinned. "I deny and admit nothing."

"That's wise, but you must be careful, you could easily fry your chakra coils if you overdo this. My chakra is much stronger and denser than yours. You are young and civilian born, your chakra coils are too new to be able to handle immense influxes of chakra."

Mika sighed." I am aware of my limits, I assure you."

"Be sure that you are. Now, try it again, regulate your breathing and focus on the in and out of my chakra flow. I know that is the key to chakra transferring in a medical sense."

Doing as he was told, Mika put his hands on Gai's arm and slowly his arms began to glow, and the chakra pulsed between them even if it did not transfer or move.

'What progress he is making, that technique is advanced even by medical standards. He really is something else...'

Kabuto had not had the chance to see Mika master it, but he knew it had to be rather recent due to his struggles before. The boy had used the technique rather beautifully if a bit wastefully on Naruto. The boy's chakra reserves were too great to really notice the drain, especially with Kyuubi healing him as he had. Still, the boy would have more chakra for the next matches which was more than welcome he was sure.

Mika groaned as he watched Temari technically win against Shikamaru who had outsmarted her and forfeited. Turning to Hinata, he asked. "Remind me, it is still illegal to kill my comrades for being trash, right?"

She chuckled. "Sadly, yes."

"I thought so... I see Sasuke still isn't here... and that Dosu guy is nowhere to be seen, so I guess it's my turn to fight-" In a swirl of dramatic leaves, Sasuke and Kakashi appeared back to back like the idiots they were. "Well never mind, your turn. Kick his ass extra for being late."

Hinata nodded. "I will... see you soon." With a grace Mika knew he lacked, Hinata leaped onto the arena, settling in front of Sasuke.

"This is going to be good," Mika muttered.

Temari, who had arrived in their box, turned to him. "She's the girl that beat her cousin, right?" Mika nodded. "Sasuke seems more of a direct fighter, she is more stealth and sneakiness, do you really think she will best him?"

"She is far better than anyone knows. I know she will win."

"""

"It is Sister's turn," Hanabi said, leaning down.

Hiashi nodded, his eyes sorrowful as he stared at his daughter. Her words to him were like nails in his coffin, holding him fast and dooming him to remember his failings. "Remember, she bested Neji, one of our clan's best... have faith in you, Hanabi, do not make my mistakes."

Hanabi nodded, smiling. "Neji has been a lot nicer since she won."

"Yes, he has..." Hiashi sighed. 'Speaking of Neji, I do believe it is time to instruct my nephew on his father's last wishes, as I should have done many years ago.'

""

"You're a stealth fighter." Sasuke started as soon as they were given the go. "Against more direct combat, you stand no chance."

She just settled for rolling her eyes. "See what you know, Sasuke." Breathing lightly, she easily dodged Sasuke's speedy punch, having dealt with far faster strikes from Hana's triplets. It was easy to pepper Sasuke with chakra strikes to his left side and arm, immediately disarming him literally. She leaped back as Sasuke kicked at her, wind rushing over her skin from the force of his blow. She looked up, she saw red eyes glaring at her with irritation. "Oh, you need those fancy eyes to fight little old me? I am so flattered!" She did not mimic Mika, she mimicked the voice of Ino, who had mocked everyone around her for years.

With speeds far greater, Sasuke flew at her, trying to hit her from behind, not knowing she was prepared for it, grabbing his arm and slamming him into the ground harshly. Spit and air erupted from his lips as his black slammed hard into the dirt. She kicked his head hard, and he rolled away, rising into her strikes. Three powerful strikes to his chakra core, left arm and right shoulder.

He threw himself back panting and worn. With a glare on his face, she saw him attempt to move his hands to cast a jutsu, only to realize that he simply could barely move his arms, nor tap into his chakra. "How?"

She smiled. "I am not the best at the Gentle Fist, that belongs to my brother Neji, but I am still quite experienced and capable. I disarmed your chakra, you do not have the means to undo my attacks. Forfeit or force me to knock you out."

Growling, Sasuke charged her once more, moving at speeds comparable to Lee with his weights off. He attacked her with brutal strikes, not realizing that she had fought far faster with Hana and Neji and her own father since she was very young. She had also been wearing weights for almost two months now, thanks to Mika's own training and Hana's evasion training all but requiring it. She could easily handle Sasuke's speed.

Channeling chakra into her foot, she twisted and her foot slammed into Sasuke's chest, sending him flying across the arena where he landed into a crumpled heap. He tricked to stand, but found he could not.

"The Gentle Fist only works in the hands?" He groaned out, realizing that she had turned off all of the chakra points on his torso with that kick.

She laughed. "Not anymore, I figured how to do it with my feet. I have control far exceeding most Hyuuga's and medics. I am medically trained and I am very smart. I remade my style to fit me better. I was considered a failure before, but now I am excelling because I took control over my style and my destiny." She shushined behind Sasuke and knocked him out with a single strike.

"Winner by knockout, Hinata Hyuuga!"

The crowd went wild.

"""

Hiashi smiled. "She used her feet, our style only allows chakra expression through the whole body as one or the hands, we were fools to not consider our feet! I must see if she will teach that to us."

Hanabi beamed. "Sister was amazing! Sasuke was said to be a Genius, even in the Compound I heard that."

"He limited himself and attacked your sister too close with his taijutsu. That was a fool's move, he assumed that just because she used stealth tactics to overcome Neji, she was lacking elsewhere."

His daughter nodded. "Do you think she will help me learn that move? All of those. Her shushin is great!"

"Yes, her chakra control always was remarkable but with that and a better understanding of the body she is likely a jonin with that skill alone. I will ask her if she will teach you."

"""

Hiruzen smirked. "That was rather impressive, Sasuke is a prodigy, as was Neji and she bested them both."

"From what I gather, she used stealth tactics to fight the Hyuuga prodigy and pure power and skill to best the Uchiha. That takes a lot of skill to be a master of both types of combat."

"I agree, she is likely the first to show chunin level thinking if you combine both fights."

"Mika bested my son and that Naruto boy, in very different ways. I think he has shown chunin skills, but that is up to you and your council."

""

Mika found it impossible to not smile at Hinata. "Where did you get those taijutsu moves? Not all of those were Gentle Fist?"

Hinata giggled. "You know full well that you taught me that throw and to use my feet more, you couldn't stop complaining that my style ignores my lower body during out training so I just listened and learned."

"I am glad you did, you demolished Sasuke."

"Yes, yes I did..."

Mika turned to a bored-looking Gaara. "Now it's my turn again... wish me luck..,"

She grabbed his arm. "Don't die..."

He just nodded before hurrying down, hoping against hope that he survived this damn fight, the one fight he had no idea how to win.
