This is my make up chapter, I really, really liked this chapter...
"Plans for Shinobi Advancement... what is this?"
Jiraiya asked, looking at the paper journals on Mika's desk. He was in Mika's room, having snuck in to see what the boy was like. Naruto's words, his recent ability to kill powerful people and his tremendous almost unnatural advancement through mostly self-study... Jiraiya swore the boy was ROOT. He carried too much skill, too much ruthlessness, too much influence. He had to be ROOT, it would explain everything! And so he was there, in Mika's room in the Hyuuga compound, reading his journals.
" Mastery of Elemental jutsu... water for increased poison attacks, chakra siphoning mist... earth and lighting and wind enhanced taijutsu. Earth for better defense and physical blows. Lighting for speed and penetrative power. Wind for increased range and increased sharpness of the blade, ask Asuma about the Flying Swallow technique... Increased chakra attacks, modified chakra threads for siphoning or whips? Seals for taijutsu attacks. Poisons for physical damage.
Hair jutsu for Ghost, digging jutsu, stealth training, genjutsu training, healing jutsu if possible? Extreme taijutsu and tracking.
Tools against Jinhcurikki... poisons, seals and genjutsu at mask. High Priority!"
That last thing caught in Jiraiya's throat and he felt rage and fear filled him.
"He is planning to go up against Naruto?"
"Not quite." Jiraiya jumped, turning to face a very amused Mika and his hissing cat, Ghost.
"How'd you sneak up on me?"
"Silent Killing is my specialty in combat, do you not know that, now why are you in my room?"
Deciding there was no point in lying, Jiraiya gritted. "I belive you are lying about being new to the Shinobi forces, you are too skilled, too able, too powerful. You have to be ROOT. "
"And that is?"
"You know full well what ROOT is."
Mika just sighed. " If you hold issue with me, we can just go to Tsunade, she can work this out. Besides, Sanin or not, you hold no right to be in this place. It is the Hyuuga compound."
Jiraiya went to say something, only for a massive wave of chakra and force to shake the very foundation of the village. Without fail, both Mika and Jiraiya rushed out of the compound and into the village proper where they saw a strange sight. A literal forest of bones, stretching out through half of the village.
"What is this madness?" Jiraiya gaped.
"Damn, Kimimaro must not be as dead as we thought, or maybe it was a clone," Mika muttered. "Jiraiya, we fought a Kaguya, he proved to be almost easy to fight, but I think that was a ploy. We must be careful, we have no idea how strong he really is."
The two ninjas shot into the village proper, leaping in and around the bone spears gracefully as only ninjas could. Soon they found themselves seeing Kimimaro making quick work of various lesser ninja with a sword of bone. He was still missing his left arm, but he was killing the various ninaj at a pace that was utterly baffling, clearly this ninja was made of something very unique, something powerful.
"Heal who you can, Mika, I will handle him," Jiraiya said. "Then we speak to Tsunade."
Mika rushed onto the battlefield, glowing green hands moving over the nearest ninja. The man would not make it, even with Tsunade's aid, a bone fragment was in his heart...Mika wished he could just snap his neck in a mercy killing. The next person he could help and he did, stemming his bleeding and wrapping a bandage around the cut on his torso. For what felt like an hour, Mika struggled to heal and patch people up while a battle raged behind him. The urge to look and watch was too strong, but he kept himself focused on his patients.
"RASENGAN!" Jiraiya's voice sounded, Mika turned just in time to see a spiraling sphere of blue chakra grind into Kimimaru's swore, destroying it and the hand that held it in a flurry of bloody bone fragments.
Laughing loudly, Kimimaro declared. "Sasuke is already gone, reverse summoned to the Snake Caves where Lord Orochimaru awaits! I will fulfill my duty always, in this world and the next!"
Jiraiya's next hand signs ended in tiger and he blew out a stream of fire that utterly destroyed Kaguya, rendering him into a mass of ash and bone and blood.
Sighing, Jiraiya turned to Mika. "How many can be saved?"
"Only one so far has fatal wounds, the rest do not." Groaning, Mika started to shake, healing jutsu took a lot of chakra. "Grab as many as you can, use your clone jutsu whatever it is, get them to the hospital."
"Agreed, and then you meet with me and Tsunade."
"Fine, just hurry."

"... the arm Mika blew off proved to be a clone, some sort of Kaguya bone clone. The Real Kaguya broke into the village, broke into the prisoner cells. Sasuke has escaped with his help." Ibiki said, his tone dark. "We lost four ninjas and six civilians to this attack."
Tsunade growled but kept her calm. "A bone clone, clever, even I have never heard of such a thing but with a physical medium, it would make the clone more durable and substantially easy to be undetected. Like a bloodclone, or a hair clone. Very, very clever. No wonder Orochimaru had him serve him..."
Danzo, who was standing in the corner. "And are we to punish the foolish children that brought him into the village?"
To everoyne's shock, it was Tsume who declared. "We will not blame them for this, the Kaguya was easily as strong as Kakashi at the minimum, they were chunin forced on a mission that nearly killed two skilled Jonin, members of the Hokage Guard. I will not dishonor them for this. Clearly the Kaguya used his lost arm against them, he used tactics they would never know of or even consider and that is not something we can fault green chunin for. Not now, not ever!"
Tsunade nodded. "She is right. We failed them, not the other way around. They did the best they could with extremely limited experience. They will only use this to grow from the consequences. They will be better... and so well we. I will make sure of it."
Everyone nodded, agreeing as the weight of Kiba Inuzuka's death weighed heavily on their collective hearts...
