I am doing something sneaky... and fun. I did the research for this chapter... There is going to be one skill set Mika struggles with, we won't see it today but we will see it. Next chapter actually!

I know I said there would be longer chapters, but I was a bit... confused on how to handle the fight scenes. After this one it is guaranteed now that I found my path.

In Tsunade's office.

"So you're telling me that you think I am a member of ROOT, a sociopathic creation of Danzo that kidnapped children to enslave them to the service of the village by destroying their minds and emotions?" Mika said to Jiraiya, who nodded. "You think this because of my skill growth, influence, darker qualities and overall badassery?"

Tsunade, who was sitting across from the two male ninja, chuckled. "He makes a point Jiraiya, you are being paranoid."

Mika shocked them by saying. " Not really. I can see his point. That being said, he is wrong. I have never been tied to ROOT, I would happily have my mind examined to prove it."

That seemed to stun the Sanin. "Really?"

The younger boy shrugged. "Why not, I am not in the wrong with nothing to hide. If I do this, though, you owe me Jiraiya."

To Mika's shock, Jiraiya groaned out. "I did break into your room, I guess I could do something nice for you... but only one thing. I am a busy man."

"As much as I like to milk you for sealing knowledge, that would take too long really... you are very busy as you said. So, I will settle for the rasengan." Jiraiya gaped. "I have no massively potent strength based jutsu, so I choose that one."

That made the man grit his teeth but Tsunade laughed. "You did say you would teach him, Jiraiya, one thing..."

Mika sighed. "Just show the steps, I'll figure it out. I could tell from what I saw that it was pure chakra control and shape manipulation. I have experience in both, though only slightly in the second part. I learned it through my sword channeling jutsu."

"Fine, if you prove to be worthy of our trust, as an apology, I will teach you the basics of the Rasengan but that is it!"

Mika turned to Tsunade. "Reminder, never bet against me, I always win. Now, shall we go to Inoichi?"

"YOU'RE DOING WHAT PERVY SAGE!" Naruto screeched, making Mika smirk. "Why the Rasengan, why him?" He said him with an intent level of hate, so strong that it made everyone flinch but Mika.

Mika was stronger than Naruto, by a lot, so he wasn't really bothered.

"I promised him, Naruto. Inoichi tested him, he is loyal to the village. I owe him Rasengan training... I am sorry but I do."

Naruto huffed. "Well, whatever, I am going to go celebrate with Ichiraku's."

Mika frowned. " What?"

"Sasuke is not having his bloodline sealed, we can still save him!"

It was only Jiraiya's warning gaze that stopped Mika from tearing into Naruto physically or verbally. As the boy left, rushing ungracefully onwards, Mika turned more fully to Jiraiya. "Why is he allowed to be a ninja when he is so utterly obsessed with Sasuke in that way, despite Sasuke being an open traitor?"

"I ... I am not sure."

"Is it his status or Tsunade's love?"

Jirayia sighed. "Sort of both, to be entirely honest. Now enough on that, let's get you started on this jutsu. It took me months to master, Naruto only got it with a clone after a month, Minato took three years to make it. Genius or not, you will struggle."

"Try me." And so Mika watched as Jiraiya demonstrated the rasengan. With water balloon first and last and with a rubber balloon. It took all he had to follow along but he did so with a smrik. "Wanna see me master it in less than an hour? This is just a chakra control exercise squared."

Jiraiya smirked right back... at least until the point, an hour later, that Mika held up a Rasengan. It was half the size of his own Rasengan and rotated a tad slower, but it was there and it was right. "How?"

"Why does everyone forget that I am a medic, we have excellent control above even yours. This is just a giant chakra control exercise broken into pieces. Naruto would likely have it mastered alone with those exercises. There are a million of them to use, if Naruto bothered to learn them." Mika stopped the rasengan. "This takes a lot of chakra, a fifth of my overall reserves but it would be a great killer technique, Thank you Jiraiya. Oh and don't look so put out, if Naruto could master this technique without any chakra control training, a master of control could get it easily. It's really not that hard to do. I mean I need to work on my rotation speed and the size, but it's good.

I wonder, though, it is incomplete isn't it? No elemental chakra was added to it. I could try, but I will not for a time. I only have water chakra active in my repertoire and I am no master of that. Hehe. Imagine me putting this through Sasuke's temple, satisfying thought is it not? Anyway, I will leave you be. I have a chakra blade to buy, it will take all my savings but I think it is worth it."

And so the boy left Jiraiya behind,

"Wait." Mika stopped, turning to the Sanin. "Don't go teaching other people that technique, it belongs to the Fourth. Not everyone is worthy, I only taught it to you as an apology..."

"Fine... fine."

"So shiny!" Mika cackled as he left the store, holding out his new tanto. It was a chakra blade, a darker blue, and it cost a pretty penny. Even with his extra shifts in the hospital, it cost his whole savings. Still, it was worth it... very, very worth it. "I am now more complete and with the Rasengan that I tricked the idiot to show me..." Mika wanted to cackle some more, but he masked it, never one to express too much of his emotions out in public. "I need to spar with Raido too, when he gets out of the hospital, I need someone good to train with."

"What about me?" He jumped and turned seeing a very smug Neji.

"You're a prick, you know that, right?"

"I have been told... anyway, I thought about it during the Sasuke retrieval mission. A weapon to preserve my chakra is welcome, Would you help me find a good fit?"

"Do you have the money?"

"I do."

"Then let's go, I have so many ideas! Then we can spar, and you will lose."
