Check out Animescale on youtube for how I am scaling Mika...

I love Ino, she is a favorite of mine that is underused. Her personality sucks but her potential was insane.

Same with Tenten actually.

And Kurenai.

"Gently, Mika, gently." Shizune started as she and Mika held their green glowing hands over the doll they were testing Mika's powers on. "The key is to harmonize with my chakra, as I am the one with the greater chakra levels and experience. Then we focus together on the greater injuries. The goal is to always stem bleeding, and move from major to minor injuries."

Nodding, enjoying Shizune's soothing voice, Mika did as he said. Even for him, it was tricky, to focus his chakra on that level but slowly he managed it. Sweat broke out on his brow, and he felt the strain against his chakra coils, but damn it he was managing a level two mystic palm. Granted it was with assistance, but that was the goal. To start out needing help and move into mastery alone. This was a great step!

"I think I am getting this."

"You are, very much so." Shizune beamed. "By the end of your training, over the next three months, you will likely have full mastery over the Mystic palm. Enough to use it on moderate wounds, to stem advanced bleeding, and even begin your training on surgical jutsu like the chakra scalpels and other such techniques. Be proud of yourself, this usually takes months and months to master!"

"I am pleased you think I am doing so well."

"Hey, Shizune?" They both turned, seeing Asuma Sarutobi, peeking into their training room. " I have a routine injury, from a mission. They said you had a trainee that would like to work on real people. Care to try me out?"

Shizune beamed. "How generous of you, let's see the injury."

Asuma walked into the room, handsome and tanned as usual, limping ever so slightly. "I got caught by a weak earth jutsu to the leg. No bone damage, or even a sprain, but there is a cut and a lot of bruising. The cut is pretty deep, not muscle deep but still." He heaved his leg up and his pants too, showing the wound he was speaking off, which looked pretty brutal moving from his mid-calf to his ankle. "Can you heal this, Mika?"

Mika nodded. "I think so, but Shizune better assist just to make sure you are not put in a coma."

She laughed, and Asuma looked nervous. Mika put his hands on the man, and Shizune put her guiding hands on Mika's. Slowly the green light expanded over the man's cut, and slowly the cut and bruises started to fade. It was exhausting, Mika was still so new to this that it took far more chakra than it should, but he did manage to complete the healing.

Panting, he sat down and waved at Asuma.

Asuma looked down, impressed. "My mom would have approved, she was a gifted medic. What do I owe you, kid?" he asked, jokingly.

Mika looked up. "How about a kenjutsu spar when my shift is over? And maybe some tips on Chakra flow? I am still struggling to maintain the flow's density."

Asuma sighed. "I heard you were a training fiend, how about tomorrow around... ten? I have off for a few days for training my own team. I could easily train you a bit, wouldn't be too hard."

Mika beamed. "Thank you, you are very kind. I was kidding but I do appreciate the offer."

"Not a problem, kid."

Shizune sighed. "Mika, why don't you spend the rest of the training period reading on poisons? Your chakra levels are lower than I would like at the moment."

"Will do."

"Great training though, you are making fantastic progress."

:::

"Is that your Ninja Cat?" Asuma asked, looking at Mika's adorable brown and orange cat. Asuma could not sense chakra, but on some level all Ninjas could get a feel for power. The cat was clearly not a normal cat, it had a spark of intelligence in it's eyes. An understanding that was mildly unnerving.

The damn thing actually nodded at him, meowing. Mika laughed. "He said yes, he is Ghost and he is a good boy." Mika rubbed his cat's chin. "He also says your team seems to hate me, he is not pleased by that." The cat growled to emphasize the point.

That made Asuma look to his left, by the trees was his entire team and they were glaring hatefully at Mika. "Yeah, Shikamaru blames you for his community service... and told the others to do so as well."

"Tough I guess, pity they are too weak to do much about it. I could face and defeat your entire team without much issue."

Asuma thought about what he had seen of the boy's skills, and could not deny him. "Sadly, you are right."

"They can spar me when we are done, to get their aggression out."

"Not a bad idea, but let's fight while you still have stamina." Pulling out his chakra blades, he fell into his stance. Mika was good enough to warrant actually trying.

Mika pulled out a new blade, one he had not seen before, that was black and blue and radiated power. A real chakra blade, very dangerous and very pricey. In an instant, the blade broke out into sharp radiation of thin chakra. "Let's do this." And Mika struck, with far more force than Asuma realized he had but not enough to do much more than impress him.

Mika pulled away and slashed, then jabbed, turned and kicked at Asuma right in the knee which actually hurt when it connected. This continued for a while, the boy moved with silent precision and Asuma blocked and dodged every blow. It became clear to him quickly that Mika was not used to offense but was trying to adapt, the boy was adapting fast and was getting better as they fought. Soon the boy's attacks got more clever, with more knees, kicks and odd but effective slashes down low.

The fight ended when Mika knicked Asuma's left hand with his extended chakra blade just a tiny bit.

"Alright, enough... " He said, the fight having taken twenty five minutes. Mika grabbed his hand and healed it instantly. "You are good kid, very, very talented. I see what you mean about fixing the density of your chakra flow, the problem is more about your chakra though. Your chakra is not dense enough your too new and young, making it denser would hurt you unless you add elemental chakra. What's your element? That is a bit advanced but I figured you would be doing that already."

Mika nodded. "Water, but I am debating on either Earth or Wind to try next. I am almost done with my Water mastery on a basic level. I made up some exercises to increase my mastery since the Clans keep the real advanced stuff."

"They do, my dad made a dozen exercises after the Senju brothers denied him their clan training methods. It's why so many of my clan is specializing in elemental jutsu. That and our higher chakra levels. Now, if you want to go wind, I can help you there since my chakra natures are wind and fire. If you want to go Earth, I can't... I would go wind though, for your blade and to give you range. I noticed you don't really have any range, that is a huge impediment to your style. Wind also uses less chakra than most elemental jutsu, if you master it right you can do some amazing things with very little chakra exerted."

Mika frowned."Then what about your team?"

"What about them?"

"Listen," Mika sighed, petting his cat almost manically. Asuma realized immediately that Mika was actually really upset, bothered by something deeply. "I don't like any of them, but with Sasuke's defection, Kiba's death and Orochimaru really being after I am not in the mood to be picky. We need more and better allies. Sasuke will be S rank. Orochimaru is High S rank. Kabuto is Borderline S rank at nineteen. We have three terrible enemies, that want to hurt me and us and I... I do not want to be the one to carry the burden. There is a reason I tricked Jiraiya into teaching me the Rasengan, I needed the power attack boost. I need to be better, stronger... but also so do others. Teamwork is a thing, our village is famous for it. I saw that I could help the Hyuugas, so why not your team. Their potential is insane, especially Ino's. She could be greater than Tsunade."

"Really?" Ino said, coming to them. "You really think so? I am just a support ninja?"

"I never said you'd be her power level," Mika started. " She is a Senju and Uzumaki, that being said if you mastered poisons, throwing weapons, genjutsu, seals, and a few jutsu for flavor... and maybe a weapon, you could become a one-woman capture and interrogation army. No one would master you. You used that hair trap in the Chunin exams on a whim, that was intensely impressive. It's why the whole fight bothered me so much, your potential is insane."

Ino blushed and flushed and turned away. "I... how would you help me?"

"Is Kurenai around?"

Asuma nodded dumbly. "Yeah."

"And Asuma you are a weapons master right?"

"Yes?"

"Then teach her to use a bladed weapon to conserve her chakra, better her taijutsu to start. Kurenai is a genjutsu master and a seal expert, She can help you with that. In return, you teach Shino a weapon. He needs to stop relying on his bugs. Even with them, I could crush Shino in seconds. Then there is Choji, I am the least familiar by his powers, but I know he is physically strong. Change his diet, fewer carbs, more protein, and veggies. No eating during missions when you can handle it. Speed training is a must, as is a series of strong combinations instead of a raw taijutsu style. Increase his strength majorly. Also, some earth jutsu to create walls for the defense of others, and maybe bounce off of in that ball form I heard so much about

Shikmaru is easier, same as Ino. With more weapons training, he cannot rely on that shadow always. I have a method that could undo it, I tested that theory too. He is exceedingly intelligent, so a lot of seal work too, that would make him a real beast. Then, I would have him work on... well poisons, through his mouth or his weapons. One of them needs to be a healer, likely Ino as I know her control is good enough.

They are Ino-Shika-Cho, they are special targets but also too well known to not have something special up their sleeves. People are going to eventually discover their fighting style and work around it. That would make them targets for capture and interrogation, and at their weak level they are easily the most vulnerable group."

Everyone, even Shikamaru gaped at them. Asuma took a moment. "This is the real reason you came to spar with me, isn't it?"

Mika smirked. "Do you really think I would do that?"

The entire group screamed. "YES!"

He laughed. "You are wrong, that is all what I came up with as we sparred. I am traumatized. Asuma, the notice that Orochimaru is after me is more than my brilliant mind can handle. I'd rather not suffer and die, so I am trying to save myself and others." He sighed, and Asuma for the first time saw the boy's fear. "Please, no more Kibas... let's all do better, be better."

"He's right, Asuma." They all turned to see a very happy looking Kurenai and Shino approaching. "He is right, about Kiba, about all of this. You and I both relied too much on our teams' clan jutsus. They need to branch out, less they suffer for it."

He sighed. "I guess so..."

Kurenai turned to Mika, and kissed his forehead suddenly. " Thank you for helping Yakumo where I could not. You really did a good thing."

Mika nodded. "I try. Now, speaking of her, I need to train her... in like an hour. So why don't Asuma show me the basics of wind chakra, and I agree to come back in two days and we can all work on bettering each other."

Shino approached Mika. "Do you have any other suggestion for me?"

"Sealing, prep work I mean, and poisons. You could be scary Shino, like Kakashi scary or better. You are wicked smart and ruthless, I like that, so try your best. You know about aces, so why not get more? I mean your bugs are great, I am envious of their powers and versatility, but with a single application of a weapon you go from maybe id tier jonin potential to easily Upper A rank! With those other things, you could easily rival Kakashi. I am not joking! Asuma, you help with the weapons training and taijutsu training, Kurenai you help with seals and genjutsu! Anko and Shizune are great poison users, you could do a lot! Hell, I am willing to teach the basics of medical while I work with Yakumo if you want."

The senseis shared a look. "I can see why you were promoted, you really are a leader, Mika." Kurenai said. "Now, about Yakumo could she train with us?"

"Sure, why not. She is at her compound, she is going to come to visit me here at actually, and I was going to take her to another field, but really she would do better in a group. I cannot wait for you all to meet her, she is going to be my training partner for a while. I cannot wait to start her training outside of giving her books."

Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.

This was a blast to write. Mika's training was not just for Mika, but to bond with other people... too many ocs never bond with others.

Love, your Ninja Overlord,

Mika.
