Steve and Tony have adopted Peter, but now they have to leave him. What happens when they don't return? What happens when they do? AU. Steve and Tony do NOT have powers, and are NOT a part of the Avengers. They're scientists/researchers. May change rating to M for language later.

Steve feels like an idiot for getting pulled into the situation but he was going to make Clint pay for starting it.

During Avengers Loki tells Clint his plan while he's still under his thrall, and even under the mind control Clint has something to say about a plan that is doomed from the start.

Loki wins, and puts the mind-whammy on Thor. Thor loves him, is loyal to him, praises him, comforts him, basically Loki turns him into the 'perfect brother'. Sad, but platonic Bro-ness.

Fifty bucks says that's real.

Clint had planned what he is absolutely sure will be the best date Natasha has ever been on, so of course, things go wrong. Rated M for language.

Now that he and the Avengers have stopped Loki and the Chitauri, he knows the sensible thing to do is to leave while the city is in chaos. Loki wants all the things he believes Thor has, and that he was denied. So he doesn't just want a glorious war, and a kingdom to rule and to be known as a mighty warrior, he also wants friends and loved ones like Thor. So he spends his evening cuddled and snuggling with Clint and Erik.

In the end Loki does not go over to the good side. He is unrepentant.

His eyes fixed on the expanse of stars and nebulae through the opening ripped in the fabric of space-time.

In which Loki loses his memory, the team makes a choice, and Thor really just wants his brother back.
