Chapter 21

I looked out the window of the private plane that Melissa's dad sent for us, smiling at the sun high in the sky and the sea below.

I looked behind me to see Melissa who was typing away on her laptop, next to her was Mei… who had a tranq dart on her arm… again.

All Might was in the captain's cabin, hiding from Mei, who didn't know his skinny form. Thankfully Mei already knew he was here and just assumed that All Might would be flying the plane or at least co-piloting.

She didn't know that the plane had autopilot.

Bringing Eri came to mind but she wanted to focus on training with her quirk, she was a determined little girl, I'll give her that.

Melissa looked up from her PC and smiled at me, "We should be arriving soon." She informed me as she checked the flight path. "I can't believe I'm going to I-Island." I responded and took a sip of my mango drink.

"I can't believe Bakugo accepted the tickets you gave him." Melissa adjusted her glasses.

"Yeah…"

"Well at least we had a quiet flight, uncle Might will have a bit of a hard time trying to keep… That up." She said,

"He'll be fine." I assured her. "He can always just hide away and wait until he's needed." I looked out the window. I saw it. I-island!

"I'm home!" Melissa cheered as she looked out the window.

"AMAZING!" Hatsume was behind her in an instant. "GAH!" Melissa jumped in shock. "When did you wake up!?"

"I'm building an immunity!" Hatsume cackled as Melissa groaned.

I ignored them and got up to get changed into my hero costume.

After leaving the airport, I watched alongside All Might, as Melissa dragged Mei with her. I chuckled. "Maybe you should wait until the expo start to run of Hatsume."

"BUT MY BABIES!" She cried. "Not here." Melissa scolded.

"She's… an eccentric one.." All Might commented. "You have no idea." I responded.

"Anyway, let's get going before-" Melissa was cut off when someone in the crowd spotted us. "Hey it's All Might and Dekiru!"

In minutes we were swarmed by fans. All Might was handling it like a pro but me…

I was swarmed with questions, notebooks with pens and phones. "Can I have your autograph!" "Take a picture with me!" "Are you single?" How did celebrities deal with this?!

After 30 minutes of pure chaos. I was sitting on a bench exhausted, my wrist was hurting from signing autographs and my cheeks were hurting from smiling so much. "Forty minutes off the plane and already tired?" Melissa teased as she offered me a bottle of water. "Shut… it." I panted as I took the bottle and downed it.

All Might laughed. "Don't worry young Midoriya, you will learn to do this in time." He patted my shoulder. "Haha." I sarcastically laughed and looked around. "Where's Hatsume?" I asked. "HERE!" I jumped as Hatsume appeared next to me.

"Where did you come from?!" I screeched. "Bathroom!" She responded with a shrug.

Melissa took out her phone. "Uncle Might, my dad said he wants to see you in his lab, he sent you the location." All Might nodded. "And what about us?" I asked, making Melissa grin, "That's simple, let's do a little sightseeing!" She grabbed my hand dragging me to the expo with Hatsume following with a skip in her step.

All Might took out his phone and looked around. "... I am lost." He said to himself.

We went around the expo and I was reminded of the Iron Man 2 Stark Expo, I smiled, I was in a reality where superpowers were the norm, but it's got nothing on Marvel.

"OH LOOK AT THAT! AND THAT!" Mei was loving every moment as she saw new inventions, inventors showing them off.

Melissa smiled at Mei, "Maybe you can come here when you graduate UA to apply for college." She suggested. "I WILL!" Mei agreed,

I stopped and saw Momo, Ochako and Jiro walking by. "Hey look, it's Uraraka, Jiro and Yaoyourozu in their respective hero costumes." I pointed out, Melissa gazed at where I was pointing and gasped. "Oh it is!"

I dragged Mei over as Melissa ran ahead and greeted our friends. "Oh Deku, you're here too!" "Yeah, how are you three here?" I asked.

"Momo got us some tickets, her family is one of the funders of this whole op." Jiro responded. Momo blushed a bit, "Well that is true, what about you Midoriya, why are you here?"

I looked at Melissa, "That… is a secret, for now, let's just say that it has something to do with a new project." I responded. Mei was currently looking at an invention asking the inventor questions… Why was it not surprising?

"Oh okay." Ochako nodded, accepting the explanation. "Why don't we get some drinks, we've been walking all morning." Momo suggested. I was about to reply but then I heard an explosion in the distance.

"Whoa what was that?" Jiro asked as we went out to the arena close by and I smirked at who was in the robot trials. "I should have known." I chuckled. "How is he here?" Ochako asked. "I gave him my ticket, I didn't have much of a need for it." I responded.

"Kirishima is here too." Jiro pointed at Kirishima who waved at them.

I waved back as the announcer called out. "The course is set, ready! GO!" Bakugo blasted off and destroyed the robots in record time.

"AMAZING, 15 SECONDS, HE'S IN FIRST PLACE!" The announcer cheered as well as the rest of the crowd.

I locked eyes with Bakugo who narrowed his eyes on me.

He and Kirishima came up to us, Kirishima had his hands behind his head. "8th place isn't bad." The hard head muttered. "Tch." Classic Bakugo..

"You wanna give it a try, Deku?" Ochako asked, I looked at the course. I smiled. "Sure." I accepted, "You're not gonna get a better score than me!" Bakugo raged.

I walked to the start of the obstacle course and charged up FC to 15%.

"WE HAVE A NEW CHALLENGER, WHAT KIND OF SCORE WILL HE GET!?" The announcer raised her hand.

"READY…. GOOO!" I blitzed forward, punching and kicking bot after bot, not wasting a second. I was at the last one and with a grin I performed an axe kick to add some flair. "7 SECONDS!" I jumped back to my friends and landed in a crouch. "Whoa Deku, that was amazing!" Ochako cheered.

"You've been working on your speed there man!" Kirishima praised. "LET ME AT IT AGAIN!" Bakugo raged more trying to go again but was stopped as ice started to fill the course. "12 Seconds! He's in second place!" The announcer cheered.

I smiled widely and ran up to the railing to see Todoroki. "HEY!" I waved. Todoroki looked up at me with his monotone stare… I will get him to smile one of these days. "Nice to see you here!" I grinned. Bakugo blasted off and demanded to go again.

I jumped down and I dragged Bakugo away as we talked.

Melissa watched and looked at the other girls "Are they always like this?" She asked. "Mostly." Ochako nodded. "Yes." Jiro responded while Momo nodded.

Hatsume giggled. "Well it's never boring at least!"

We went to a cafe and ordered some drinks. Momo explained how she could bring two guests with her since her parents are one of the people who funded I-Island. Todoroki explained that his father was supposed to come but was too busy so he came in his father's steed.

Bakugo just grumbled that I gave him the two tickets to come here. "I was gonna come here anyway so I thought I would give them to him as a gift." I said.

"Thanks for waiting~" A chocolate smoothie was placed in front of me. I looked up and blushed seeing Camie in a waitress outfit…. Why…

Kaminari came up behind her with a tray of drinks. "Hey guys." He greeted us with a grin.. He was enjoying how hot Camie looked in that uniform, I could tell. "Hey." Jiro looked surprised and also a bit upset.

"What are you doing here?" She asked with narrowed eyes, Kaminari flinched and rubbed the back of his head. "Oh umm I saw an ad for job placements here, temporary, so I asked around and Camie agreed to come with me, so we could see the expo." Jiro crossed her arms looking at him with a raised eyebrow, Kaminari fidgeted under her gaze… wait.

"Oh that's great." Melissa smiled, happy that she saw more of her classmates.

I got up and dragged Kaminari. "Dude, give me the juice." I demanded with a grin. Kaminari blinked. "But didn't she-" "Not that juice idiot, you and Jiro!" I hissed.

"Oh… Umm well since you're the one who helped… We've been.. Dating for a month…" He mumbled. "HA!" I slapped him on the back, my ship has sailed.

"Congrats dude, so you two keeping it a secret?" I asked. "Yeah, we aren't ready to be public yet." He explained. "I won't say a word… sooo did you two… you know~" I nudged his rib making him blush.

"Dude… We only kissed once." He whispered and I smiled wider. "Once again, congrats, I'll support you, anything you need just ask." I winked.

We went back and Melissa was on her phone, she looked at me, "Hey my dad wants us to go to his lab." She told me, getting up from her seat.

I blinked and walked over. "Oh sure, is this about our project?" I asked, "No something else that he thinks you can help with." She responded.

"Oh can we come?" Kirishima asked with a grin. "I'll pass." Bakugo shot down, sipping his drink. "Come on dude!"

"I am interested as well." Momo chimed in, Jiro and Ochako nodded, Todoroki looked at me then at Melissa, "I too am interested."

Melissa frowned and then texted her father.

"Well, we gotta get back to work, we'll see you guys later!" Camie walked away with Kaminari in tow.

"He said you could but to keep this quiet, it's something big." Melissa said.

I grinned. "Okay, come on gang!" I walked with Melissa to her father's lab.

We arrived at the lab where David was waiting for us. He didn't say anything as he escorted us to the elevator, a big one.

We fitted in and David hit the B4 button, we decent and David looked at me and my friends. "Dad… what is this project?" Melissa asked, wait she didn't know either?

David sighed. "I wanted to keep it a secret but… Since you trust them.. Well you'll see." The elevator stopped and opened to a white hallway.

We continued to make our way to our destination, this was all new to me, it would be the galla then the heist but I didn't see Iida anywhere, was he still grounded?

We entered a room and we all gasped at the sight.

There was a huge circular portal frame in the end of the room, machines hooked up to it, I didn't understand it but I think I had an idea what it was supposed to be.

"Dad… is this?" Melissa marveled at the sight. "Yes, we're trying to create a working portal." David confirmed, "When I was told that villains possessed a warping quirk, I thought that we would need to even the playing field."

David walked forward with us following, Momo, Melissa and Mei were listening closely, Bakugo looked at the scientists working as Kirishima was trying to understand what the machines did.

I looked at the portal in deep thought, and one thing crossed my mind. "Have you tested this thing yet?" I asked. David looked at me, "Umm yes we did, but it was a failure, we still aren't sure what happened."

Melissa tilted her head. "What happened?" "We turned it on and it was working for a while before it shut off and the sound of glass shattering was heard, we don't know what broke." David explained.

Everyone looked confused at this… except for me. I wanted to face palm. THIS WAS HOW NEO WAS HERE!

I still had questions but… that could wait.

"So what was the issue?" Mei asked as she looked at the machines in fascination.

"...Energy issues." David admitted. I blinked and looked at him. "Wait, what?"

"We aren't able to keep the portal open for too long to send a drone in to see where it ends up, we don't have a way to keep the portal online without tapping into the reserves." I hummed at his explanation.

"So… that's why you asked for me to come." I realized, "When Melissa told me about how your quirk can give a massive amount of power, I wanted to test it." I hummed and looked at the machine.

"Do you have a way for me to transfer the energy?" I asked.

With Melissa's and Hatsume's help, they were able to make a device that would send an electric current through me and I could pump energy into the machine. I was kinda excited to see how this ends.

All Might arrived to help with the heavy lifting. He knew what was going on and was excited to see the end results.

The rest of my friend's watched, interested in seeing a portal that wasn't hostile.

"Okay, we will begin tests in a few minutes." One of the scientist's said.

I looked at the two handles that were hooked up to a set of cables that connected to the portal…

I looked at Mei who was humming while working on the wiring. "Is this safe?" I asked her, "Safe as I know!" That wasn't reassuring.

I sighed, maybe we would be opening a portal to another country…

I shook my head. I hope these guys didn't open a portal to a dangerous world.

"Okay, Midoriya." I turned to David who had All Might next to him who gave me a smile and a thumbs up. "We will be starting soon."

Everyone got in safe distance of the machine, I put my hands on the handles and activated OFA, I took a deep breath and waited.

"Okay, we're starting in 3… 2…" I waited for David to finish his countdown. "1.. Now!" I felt the current flow through me, I instantly pushed 20% power into the portal, I looked to the side and saw that the portal was powering up. "It's working!" Melissa exclaimed.

"Get the drone ready!" David ordered as he looked at the instruments. "We need more power… Midoriya, put everything you have into it." David ordered. "Are you sure?" I asked.

"Do it." I sighed and pushed it to 100% and groaned a bit as the portal finally materialized, it reminded me of a Stargate.

"Okay now-" But David was cut off as the portal started to suck in everything in the lab.

"Mr. Shield, there's too much power!" One of the scientists informed him as the suction got stronger and it started to become louder.

"MIDORIYA!" David shouted, "Cut the power!" I shut off OFA immediately and looked at the portal as it kept sucking. "DAD!" Melissa screamed as she was sucked it, I activated OFA again, grabbing her using blackwhip and tried to hold on.

All Might and the rest of my friend's were trying to evacuate, All Might was able to move but it was slow, Todoroki tried to freeze the machine but the ice shattered before impact.

I growled and tried to pull Melissa to me, I gasped as my grip slipped. "DEKU!" Ochako reached out but was pulled in, as was Momo who attempted to create something to anchor her.

Shoto skated to us and tried to grab Momo but was pulled in, Bakugo tried to use his explosions to propel himself towards us to save one of us, sadly he was pulled in as well.

I couldn't use blackwhip as the pull was too strong for me. The six of us entered the portal which shut off behind us.

David ran to the portal looking in shock and horror.

"Dave! Are you able to open it again?" All Might asked urgently. "N-no, the portal frame is damaged, we have to repair it… we also need to figure out where they are." Dave explained tearing up.

All Might put a hand on his longtime friend's shoulder. "Well get them back." The number one hero looked at the portal. "Be careful young Midoriya."

"Jarvis, please tell me these readings are incorrect." Tony Stark, the Iron man asked as he looked at the holographic screen.

"I'm afraid not sir, there is a portal being opened in Central Park." Jarvis the AI responded to his creator.

"Well at least we're close by. Jarvis, call the rest of the avengers, we need to make sure this isn't another alien invasion." Tony spoke as parts of his Iron Man armour formed around him, he walked out to the open window of Avengers Tower and flew to central park.

The trip was short and not at all sweet.

I fell out the portal falling to what looked to be a park, I looked around and saw Bakugo springing into action, slowing his fall with explosions, Ochako made herself weightless and slowly descended, Shoto created an ice slide, I found Momo who was close to Todoroki, I saw Melissa screaming as she fell. I flicked my finger sending myself towards her and held onto her, "Hang on!" I flicked my finger again, sending us to the ice slide and we slid down.

We get up after coming to the end of the slide, "Thank you." Melissa steadied her breathing, "No problem." I looked around trying to figure out where we were.

Bakugo landed next to me and growled, "Okay nerd, where the fuck are we!?" He demanded, I glared at him lightly, "If I knew I would tell you but I don't as far as I know, we're not on I-island anymore." I responded as I looked at Shoto, melting the ice.

Melissa frowned, "Well at least dad's machine worked." She said dusting herself off. "Yeah, then it started to suck us in like a black hole!" Bakugo raged.

"Do you think we'll get in trouble for using our quirks?" Ochako asked as she floated down and landed next to me, "I don't think we will if we explain ourselves." Momo replied. I sighed and looked at the skyline and stopped dead in my tracks.

This was New York, I recognized the skyline from anywhere, so this was central park, but what caught my attention was the building in the distance with the big A on it… Avengers Tower.

I looked down, we were in the MCU!

My eyes widened, what was the timeline? After the avengers first movie obviously… After age of ultron? There was no way to tell if-

"Deku! You figured out where we are?!" I jumped and turned to see Bakugo behind me. "We're in New York… but not our world…" I pointed at the Avengers Tower.

He looked and frowned, "The fuck?"

The others came over and looked at the sky, "Guys, I don't recognize that building, I've been to New York and there was no building like that before." Melissa looked just as confused.

I sighed and paced, okay okay, David must be working on a way to get the portal up and running again, we just need to wait. But the police might be an issue if this was the time of the Sakovia accords.

I stopped hearing a familiar voice.

"Jarvis, are you sure this is where the energy signature came from?" The voice called out. I turned and looked up to see Tony Stark in his Iron Man armour hovering above us.

"I just see kids in cosplay." I looked to Bakugo and prayed he wouldn't pick a fight. My prayers were not answered.

"COSPLAY!?" Bakugo growled and blasted up to meet the Iron hero, "I'll show you who I am!" I let black whip fly and wrap around his torso, pulling him back down.

"Dynamight Stand down!" I ordered as black whip to restrain him. Bakugo growled and stopped struggling. I let him go.

Thunder rumbled as Thor the god of thunder came crashing down. "Stark, what is this, I thought you said another portal opened?" The son of Odin asked.

"I thought so too but I found these kids, they're enhanced." Iron man warned, I looked to my friends. "Stay close to each other." I told them.

Just then, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Captain America came in.

"Kids?" Widow looked at Stark confused.

"Enhanced." Iron Man repeated and landed, aiming his repulsors at us. Hawkeye aimed an arrow at us ready to fire, Thor raised his hammer.

Bakugo growled and readied his explosion quirk, Shoto's left side was set aflame. Not good.

Steve Rogers stepped up. "Why are you here?" He asked us. I decided to switch to English.

"We're not here to do any harm." I assured him, I turned to my friends, "Stand down." I ordered, Bakugo gritted his teeth but slowly did as he was told. Melissa looked at Iron man with a look of awe on her face.

"Japanese." Widow noted, "What are your names?" She asked in Japanese. "I'm Izuku Midoriya." I introduced myself in Japanese. "This is Ochako Uraraka, Momo Yaoyourozu, Shoto Todoroki, Katsuki Bakugo and Melissa Shield." I stepped forward.

"We arrived here in a portal from our world." I explained, "It was an experiment," Melissa stepped up.

Steve looked at us and looked at his team, "Stand down." He ordered.

I sighed and rubbed the back of my head. "Thank you." I was glad that we had this resolved.

"We still need to question you." Steve said. "Understandable." I responded."

"Ummm I can't speak english." Ochako raised her hand. Oh… well I needed to teach then.

"Take them to the tower, be discreet." Steve ordered Iron man who nodded. "Got it, Jarvis, need a jet down here ASAP."

Bakugo glared at me. "You know where we are." He growled, it wasn't a question. I slowly nodded. "I do."

"Why didn't you say anything?" He asked. "Because we landed in a bad time." I said as I looked at Thor. If he was still here and not looking for the infinity stones…

Then we landed before Age of ultron… I just hoped we could get back before the chaos started.
